This is an incredible place to visit. Thanks to the trees, it's always a little cooler here. Wallabies hop around after 4 pm. I went early in the morning once, there was a gentleman using a leaf blower on the path. This place is clean and well looked after.

Interesting little piece of parkland edging onto the ferry terminals for the Bay of Islands. Parking can at times be a worry. So an early arrival might be a good idea.

Nice and quiet nature walk for yourself and your dogs to enjoy
On a Monday morning what a relaxed quiet place. Sounds of nature and the odd walker is what was there. Totally different feel to the weekend when it is often busy with birthday parties. Nice to see other side of this beautiful park.

One of the most amazing views in town, the park is always clean and well maintained.
My little adventure took me through the bushland areas of this park, plus a few adjoining Reserves. I can’t really review the Koala Sanctuary, but I know it’s great to see some native fauna. There are many trails in this park and the surrounding areas, so I’d suggest downloading some maps on AllTrails or similar. Many beautiful sights to behold, and very peaceful. Hardly anyone there during the week, but be aware on the weekend, as the MTBs love the area (for good reason). I would suggest slowing it down though, and fully immersing yourself in the environment.
Love the new walking tracks and bridge went early about 9am and there was plenty of parking as it does get busy etc. some newly paved walking tracks is nice compared to the old gravel ones

Nice place to stop and have lunch
I had the most amazing experience at the Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary! 🐨 This place is a true gem, and I can't recommend it enough.

The opportunity to get up close and personal with these adorable koalas is something I'll cherish forever. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife conservation, and it shows in the way they care for these beautiful creatures.

The sanctuary itself is well-maintained, and the natural surroundings make it a serene and peaceful place to visit. It's not just about koalas; there are so many other fascinating Australian animals to see and learn about.

Whether you're a local looking for a fun day out or a tourist wanting to experience Australia's unique wildlife, Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary is a must-visit. It's educational, heartwarming, and a great way to support the conservation efforts for these iconic animals.

I'll definitely be coming back with friends and family. A big thank you to everyone at Daisy Hill for the fantastic work you do! 🌿🐨❤️

Great tracks ranging from pretty easy to very technical, more single track man made like than Westies. Nice landscape.
I appreciate how well curated and maintained everything is. it features plenty of picnic areas, paths through the forest and amenities like parking and washrooms. the entrance is FREE and it's perfect to bri g your kids, as they have kid friendly learning areas. currently it hold 3 koalas, 2 females and one male, that have been rescued.

What a gorgeous spot with towering gum trees, quiet spot to do some forest bathing and plenty of picnic space. There are walks amongst the trees, large space for kids to run around and good toilet facilities. Located next door to the koala centre which offers free viewing of koalas. The only issue I had, was with the walking trails which I felt could be better mapped and marked out making the start of them easier to find - but I have a terrible sense of direction.

Parkrun is held here every Saturday at 7am.
There is a little play park for the kids and a huge grassy area to run around on
And the bonus, it has a toilet.

There are often homeless people sleeping on the park early in the day

Nice park- very dusty, fine dirt mulch and no swings, but otherwise good with great shade over the equipment, with 2 big slides and a flying fox :)

An easy and relatively flat walk to take your dog on leash. Great for strollers too with the main trail fully paved. It’s a linear trail, but plenty of bird life to see on the walk. There’s a few biking trails too, with jumps and ramps on one side of the trail.

Lovely local walking trail. A lot of interesting things to see bush turkeys, wallabies, lots of bird life, watergragons. Plus lots of walkers, runners, cyclists and friendly dogs. The main track is mostly flat, it can get hilly when walking the bush trails

Netty. Was. Here. Such a beautiful little park with all the facilities you need for a picnic or rest stop. Here you will find an impressive Aboriginal Mural and many QR codes to scan and hear about the cultural history or this region. Well done to the people who helped developed this park as well as the people who maintain it! Stunning.

I play Pokémon GO here. Walk my buddies, let the grandchildren play on the playground and basketball court. With the smell of the sea air, it's a wonderful place to breathe. Pokestops and a gym nearby means you can play and relax for hours if wanted. A daily visit for me.

Well kept, good kids activity area, a few adult exercise items. It's next to a oval, so plenty of space to run!!! Nice view of the ocean, plenty of people riding bikes and walking dogs!

I absolutely love this place!

First, this is a great place to ride your mountain bike. Saw a lot of people drive here and ride their bike. I just visited here for the first time and regret never bringing my bike here.

Second, I get to see the koala! Been visiting a lot of parks where they said you can see the koala but never have the luck until here. Never seen a koala in my life, so yeah, I get excited.

Third, a good place for a picnic. There is some picnic area where you can have BBQ here. And yeah will definitely visit again with my bike and some food with my friends and loved ones.

Fourth, it is a dog friendly park. Yeah I love dogs and it's good to see all the dogs running around here.

Fifth, a good place for jogging.

So many good things happened in a place, who doesn't give 5 stars.

The perfect walk with a stroller, dappled light across most of the trail with birdsong backdrops or kids playing in pools. There is a small BMX bike track and a short mountain bike run, but no bathrooms or playgrounds anywhere along this track. Pleasant walking and lots of friendly locals to say hi to and dogs a plenty which are cleaned up after with a bin and bags available at the entrance.

Well kept public bayside park on top of a hill with superb grassed areas for picnics. Within walking distance of the Sorrento shopping strip it has great views over the bay, nice children's playground, and many shady trees. Clean amenities with some minor graffiti.

Beautiful park equiped with a children's play area, BBQ areas, picnic benches and some stunning views. There's a rotunda in the centre and restaurants nearby. A few information boards talk about the history of the park and parking can be found in several places along the nearby road, although it gets very busy at the weekends and evenings.

Quite disappointed in this park!!?? We turned up to try & look at the various sculptures & art works, however we could hardly find them in amongst the overgrown vegetation! LOTS of priclkles in the grass & very poorly sign posted.

Nice park in central Muswellbrook adjacent to the railway station. Has clean loos and gardens. There are some picnic tables. A good place to take a short break on your travels. Just off the main drag.

This park has been very well maintained over the years. The play areas are great from toddlers to end of primary school aged. Swings of different sizes, including one that seems ok for larger, disabled youths - though the wheelchair swing that used to be there is no longer around, which is a shame. There are different types of slides, heights and types of monkey bars, flying fox, climbing nets, a sand pit, a fort and a musical thing made of pipes. Parents can sit near the entrance and there's a high wall around the equipment area. I couldn't resist playing on the equipment with my (now) adult daughter, who practically lived at this park as a child..., it was fun for us both.

Great area to.explore, pathway that extends a few kilometers between shailer park dog streeta and cornubia which is great for riding even with small kids even if a little steep in places. Connects to network of mountain biking tracks. Lots of brisge stream crossings. Consider insect repellant.
First time visitor to this lovely picturesque location, John Tucker Park, at Patterson NSW, visited early Autumn, very peaceful & family friendly, has all the amenities including disabled access, plus electric BBQ's & a children's playground plenty of parking, if passing through, worth a visit, enjoy.
😀
Nice place for a quick break. Toilet was not that nice. No water to wash hands.

I confess to being a Banjo Paterson fanatic. My first preference would be to see a statue of him without his head split open. Yes, I know it's artistic but art is in the eyes of the beholder. Still, an excellent museum within cooee and a first rate camping ground.

It's a park.. a few swings there if you have kids, if you don't, you can suspiciously sit at the table and chairs and enjoy a drink from the water dispensing unit.. and saw a wallaby
Interesting sculptures, facilities are very basic

A good spot to pause and make yourself a cup of tea,on your way from, er, Parkes to Wellington, or maybe Orange to Dubbo, or just because you want to see the sculpture park.
The local council has designated this area just before the bridge, north of 'town' for sculptures.
The striking mosaic 'Night and Day' by the 'Public Art Squad' previously graced Sydney’s Castlereagh Street and was relocated here.

Such beautiful views from the park. Seats, equipment and toilets have been clean every time I visit. Would be better if the paths were wider in some areas but not a hassle.
