This riverside Park located in a very convenience area, it will only take less than 15 minutes to travel here from most of the popular suburbs. The park itself has beautiful scenery, many neat and tidy picnic tables with shelter and clean BBQ hotplates. Toilet and hand washing facilities are good too.
Undoubtedly this is one of the best parks in Sydney region. It is big,it is not crowded,it has excellent land scaping, Lush green grass, cycling track,Riverside BBQ spots,Free Parking, excellent children playing areas with variety of swings, slides and climbing options.....
Just taking out one star due to Limited car parking.

This is a must visit Park believe me ! Recommended !

Huge park with many play equipment that is spread around the area. There are many shades but only few with tables. Bring your own mat for family outing which can be placed anywhere under the shades or on the open field.

Feeding the ducks in the duck pond here was great fun (if you want to do it yourself the park staff recommend rolled oats) and we even saw bats hanging in the trees! The wolf play park was also a big hit. The downside? On the walk through the park we had to dodge so much dog poop and bagged-then-discarded poop it was unreal. Who leaves poop all around a park where kids play?

One of the best walking tracks in Sydney, bring your dog too! The only issue is everybody also thinks the same way, so it gets pretty busy with joggers and bikes. If you’re walking with your dog, just keep an eye on your dog as well as there are many other dog walkers out there too.

It is a huge park, but the bird and fish feeding was the highlight.
Cyclist wizz around. There's a couple of coffee places. The lake view is serene.

Peaceful and spacious park for everyone - from cyclists and runners who can easily do 5km loops around the park, to kids and families who want to have picnics, to anyone of any age who simply enjoys going for a walk.

If you're feeling more adventurous, there's lots to explore away from the circular track around the park - from a rose garden to labyrinth course to flying fox bat viewing areas.

Plenty of free bathrooms and water stations available at the park, with 3 main coffee shops if you want to grab a quick beverage or bite. For something fancier, Homestead is your best bet.

There's also plenty of 3P parking available in the park itself though if you're new to the park, I'd stick to the Randwick or Oxford Street gate to enter if you're a car as some of the other gates are blocked off at certain times of the day.
One of those hidden history parts of Sydney.. this is where they hid all the bombs in ww2, but today you can still see the bunkers, take a ride on a Segway or play frisbee golf

We had a family day out in Centennial Park & it is a wonderful place. Our Aussie grandson loves this place, especially Lockie Swamp with all the Bats. I enjoyed a fast 3-mile walk around the park before meeting up with our family for a tasty lunch at the excellent Homestead Cafe.
Beautiful simple park with lots of dogs and a great view.

Great park to visit and soak up the Spring sunshine on a Sunday. Lots of parking, some good walks or just sit and watch the ponds with ducks and fish.
I walked 🚶‍♀️around here a few weeks ago and liked the area. There was West Pymble cubs hall, West Pymble girl 👧 guides hall, Scouts hall, West Pymble preschool, hall, toilets 🚻, 4x netball courts, benches, BBQ facilities and picnic tables, outdoor stage, grassed area, playground, and bridges 🌉 over the creek.
Good:
Well maintained
Well landscaped
Good size and variety of playground equipment
Open spaces and paths for bikes etc and ball games and running about
Has toilet facilities which are clean and seem safe

Not so good:
Can be very busy.. Place is popular
Not enough sheltered areas when busy

Overall :
Great park!
This is still one of the best playgrounds in Sydney! Complete with water play area for kids, there is a flying fox, climbing wall up to the top of slides, big swings, tunnels and more. Grab a portable gas BBQ with you to make lunch of dinner while the kids play. You can happily be here for hours!

Parking is available in two areas. Down the bottom towards the water, and on top of the hill by the top of the park. Parking can be tricky as this park is super popular.

Silverwater Jail is next door but don't fear, the residents are well and truly contained.

If you want less crowds, best time to visit is early in the morning during weekends, or during the week.

This is a Super Park for the family. Massive areas for yout picnic, bike riding, kicking the soccer ball etc. The play equipment is epic and kids absolutely love this super park. Car parking is difficult as it's very popular so arrive early. This is a 10 out 10 park.

Beautiful park that's surrounded by the city so it has some really unique views. I love that there are so many people walking there dogs here, and everyone is so social. Probably met about 30 people for impromptu doggy dates, very cute! All the amenities are beautifully maintained and the Cafe serves lovely coffee and casual sweets. Perfect spot to laze around on a Sunday afternoon in the sunshine.

It’s beautiful area Dog friendly with picnic futility, restrooms are clean and the view is beautiful.
Bicentennial Park in West Pymble is a superb family-oriented spot that exceeds expectations. The diverse range of playground equipment keeps children of all ages entertained, and it's particularly fantastic for toddlers, with a specially designed, safe area for them to explore and have fun.

Ample, spacious parking ensures an easy and convenient start to your visit, removing any stress associated with finding a parking spot. The bathrooms are well-equipped, well-maintained, and clean, adding to the overall comfort and positive experience at this park. Highly recommend for a relaxing day out with the family!

Wonderful mangrove Forest. The closest yiu can get to mangroves by walking on the wooden platforms. Lots of information about the mangroves so a lot of learning about these amazing plants. Saw many fish in the water and many birds and wildlife. Some huge spiders and spider webs along the path all part of the experience! The surrounding area is nice and green and the place is easy to get to from Sydney but feels so natural and rural.
Great park for the kids. Undercover areas to eat and lots of equipment for playing

Small local park in the neighbourhood of Newington. There is a very small playground here. The park mostly consists of an oval shaped lawn with a paved concrete path around it. Large trees are plentiful, providing shaded coverage to the park. There are also a few benches and also a basketball hoop available. Although it is a small park, it manages to squeeze in a number of facilities.

Amazing vast park with amazing play equipment. Great for adults and kids alike. Really enjoyed the tree house climb!

Turn in from the gaol next door. For some reason I always miss the turn as you would not expect it to be so close but everything is very safe!

One of the best parks in Sydney. Even though it is but crowded it is still fine. There are plenty of play areas for kids to spend entire day. This park is unique in its own way. Adventurous nest, rope way, water park, playground etc.

Local park. Shaded and quiet
This nature reserve is not accessible to the public to protect its wildlife and fragile ecosystem. What I do enjoy is the pathways around this reserve, especially the Louise Savage Pathway and River Walk Promenade, as I can appreciate the birds and wildlife that use the reserve as a sanctuary. The nature reserve is also part of the Newington Armament Depot and Nature Reserve heritage-listed site.

The Badu Mangroves area is an experience to enjoy. I love walking through here, especially in hot weather, because it's cool from the breeze flowing through the mangroves. I especially like walking through here because of the Muru Nanga Mai Dreaming Track that is meandering through the mangroves. It can have a rather unpleasant smell, but it's not overpowering. Watch out for cyclists and dogs aren't allowed in this area due to the number of birds and wildlife. There's a public lavatory at the Studies Tower of the Education centre. And parking is at Badu Mangroves car park nearby.

It's a beautiful sculpture made of three elements on metal legs. It's to the north side of the Bicentennial Water Feature. It was commissioned to celebrate World Peace Day. Information about this monument suggests earth's axis and planets alignments. Fascinating sculptures surrounded by stunning parkland of the Bicentennial Park.

What a fantastic park! During the day the water play area is on. The slides, swings, tunnels eating areas are set out really well. There is plenty of space to accommodate large groups.

Public toilets are located pretty far from the playground though.

If you plan to visit the park during the weekend or school holidays, you will need to get there early to get a parking spot as there is very limited spaces. Once the car park is full, you will need to park the car pretty far away and walk to the playground.

Even in the pouring rain this was a nice little walk through the mangroves.
Couldn't even remember you were in one of the big cities of the world for a little while.
Good place for a morning walk. Lots of ovals, and playground facilities, scattered over the park, there are BBQs too. Good for family weekend. Go there early, I think the place is very popular.
Great reserve, next to water, offers stunning views, nice river side walk

Serenity that pairs with wilderness! Nice experience to walk through the mangroves & enjoy the surrounding beauty on a sunny day... Was not busy that made the approx 1km boardwalk experience more peaceful!
I loved the playground at this park. Features included embankment slide, climbing net, chimes, bridges, swing seat, spinner, play structure sand pit nature play opportunities and sculptures.

Rubber softfall links a majority of the play items accessible pathways allowing for inclusion by all.

Plenty of bench seats with back rests.

Walking tracks around the park were loving though the grade is varied

We will definitely go again especially in the afternoon so we can have an early dinner at the West Pymble bowlo.

One of my absolute favourite parks in Sydney. It’s in a beautiful spot down by the water. There are large off-leash areas. It connects to the bay run so you can get a decent stroll/run in. Large local community of dog owners that meet up regularly. Great spot to picnic at too.

There is a random fountain here, which sounded interesting but honestly there is not much to see or be said. It's literally a square of concrete with a pool like drop in to dirty looking water. Ironically it's surrounded by a swimming pool safety fence that must have cost a fortune, but it ain't much of a swimming pool, or lake, or park. 🤷‍♂️

Lovely small fenced-in park with lovely fountain. Several lights around the water's edge not working at night...a bit dangerous..
Nice views of the Anzac Bridge, city skyline, Centrepoint Point Tower even the Harbour Bridge, it's a very good place for exercise and taking your dog for a walk with long stretches of paths that lead up to a wharf where you can get the ultimate view of the city. Great spot for a selfie. 🐕🏃‍♀️

This is a very nice place to go and enjoy the mangrove shrubs and trees. It was very quiet when I went. There are a lot of boardwalks along the path with some areas to sit and relax to enjoy the mangroves or take a rest. Very easy walk and there are some ponds located at the other side of the mangroves. Be careful if you don’t like spiders as they have webs throughout the walk and it is easy to walk into them.
Still a great spot to spend some time.

Hidden gem of a raised walkway over the Badu Mangroves which is accessible via the walking paths off Parklands Circuit but this is not very well sign posted so Google Maps is the best guide to get there. The old wooden planks have all been removed and upgraded with a new weather resistant walkway but this is still subject to flooding after heavy rain. The entire boardwalk is flat with no steps on the main path so is suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Best to take your time slowly moving along the boardwalk or you may easily miss out on seeing the wild life well hidden amongst the heavy tree cover.

Good to sit and think. And some huge fish are enjoying the waters.
What a great park, there are BBQ stoves, shade areas, kids playground area with a gate, well maintained toilet, heaps of parking, plenty of flat grass sport ground, and even a trail for power walk. The only thing they can improve on is perhaps more shades at the kids playground.

It great that they build this when they built the estate, it uses storm water to power this park with water for the fountains. It’s a live rly little area which is fenced off.
