Great areas for families to go and enjoy the outdoors. Ample toilet facilities and well looked after. The beach is patrolled and there are beach volleyball courts for the enthusiastic.
I went to this place because of the event organized by the Griffith mates from Griffith University. I was totally enjoyed each and every moment at this place. This event name called "CLEAN UP THE GOLD COAST". Which is a good initiative by gold coast council and we firmly believe this kind of events definitely impact people in a good way and making their environment clean☺️ I am also very proud to be part of that event. Eventually I got few good friends from this event. The place is super calm and a great picnic spot for family outings. I'm happy to visit this place again!

Nice park, pity the Gold Coast City council doesn't put more facilities there. No toilets very few picnic tables, and the ones that are there are in the full sun.

Long foreshore with easy access to the water, many kite surfers here so a good place to watch from the grassy area. Wash spots to rinse off and a good place to bring your dog's for a dip in the shallows.

Amazing beach, literally picturesque iconic Gold Coast photo can be taken here
A nice park overlooking the beach. There are many cafes around to grab a bite. Parking is limited. There is a small free 3 hour car park. Paid street parking is also available.
It's a good place to picnic, go for a swim and enjoy a day out with friends and family.

Tucked away from main stream. This hidden park is perfect for families and BBQ picnic. Bring your own BBQ.
Everyone welcome and awesome fishing too.

Such a great playground! Tons of equipment. Will keep the big kids entertained (massive slide!) but lots of accessible stuff for toddlers as well. And toilets! Such a great find, we'll be back!

Lovely shaded playground big enough for lots of kids. Flat oval for active kids also. VERY popular for birthday parties. Bring your own shade, though, as not many tables undercover. Toilets on-site.

Lots shade area and playground are surrounded by tall tree. Lots local friendly wildlife to see and interact with. It has an old river next to it and you can smell the plant decay. Besides that, the only problem will be parking... Good luck

Awesome accessible play ground with a changing places restroom nearby for wheelchair users (who have an mlak key) there's an AAC board, a balance ship with ramp access that kids with wheelchairs can use, a seated flying fox and a super cool submarine that kids of all abilities can walk or roll into. the inclusion here is so wonderful to see. LOVE to see playgrounds that are accessible for children of all abilities, really hope this becomes a lot more common, just wonderful!

So great to have green space beside the beach rather than just highrises and units. Well done whoever had the forethought to make it a reality. And so well used. Makes the area that much more liveable. And all lit up at night too.
A beautiful small outdoor playground among the buildings and just close to the river with a pretty view. They have public toilets too which a plus point for mums with kids.

A really good, large park. Lots of wide open space. Several playground areas - four to five - with shade. Several tables with a rotunda at the other end of the park.
Toilets, yes. Good amount of parking either on the road or in the car park of the swimming pool. A nice creek and bush area next to park.

Awesome park for younger kids and toddlers. Slides swings climbing walls and everything else you need for a fun day out. Get there early if you want to barbecue or secure a spot! Though it started emptying out as we were leaving around 13:30

Quite area for a family day out although there is no playground for kids to play but water to swim in and sand to build sand castles, or flick a line and catch a meal. No toilets, Dog friendly. Parking available. Not much shade so bring a beach umbrella. Fresh water shower to wash off the sand and bins are available.

Nice spot, usually a beautiful breeze coming off the water., seems well maintained, there's only a few picnic tables and they're mostly in the sun unfortunately😔. So early mornings, late afternoons are probably best (sun-smart) times to use them. Or alternatively a picnic blanket, few chairs to chase the shade, lol.
Also a lovely walk along the waterfront down on the sand.

For Pokemon Go players: 2 pokestops.
The park caters to toddlers and older children with it's wide variety of equipment from:
- a rock climbing area
- a double and single slide separated by a tunnel with stairs or alternatives to be climbed
- a merry-go-round
- a swing set with a baby seat
- a see saw
- two massive grassy areas for ball games or just running around.
There are trees EVERYWHERE for shade.

The park is next to a stunning canal where the kids can see little fishes swimming by, boats and jet skis or sometimes just the still, blue water.

There is also a unisex toilet block provided.

Beautiful, quiet, clean beach.
NOT completely covered in dog poo like every other beach near an apartment block in Southport (please keep it this way).

Pleantly of seating, but not much shade.
No public toilets nearby.
The jet boats and jet skis are loud ALL the time so don't expect to be able to relax.

Good park for a casual stroll, in or out of the water.
🥰
Beautiful spot to rest for a while from your hike or bike ride. It has a beautiful view and places where you can sit.
I have also seen families that have gone fishing here. 🌆🌅
Don't go here. Please. RSX residents only

A great playground with toilet amenities, fantastic range of play equipment including a very high slide, a flying fox, swings and toddler area, all under lots of natural tree shade. There is also a large open field for bigger kids to kick a ball. Great park
Perfect spot for family getogethers, walking your doggies, photography or laying about with a book or coffee.
It was a pleasant walk with a sea breeze on a bright sunny day. Loved it
Great place for a family outing.

Nice family friendly park and beach on Gold Coast. Have a play and swim. The beach is amazing and is part of many miles and kilometres of the Gold Coast beach. There is a market on every first Sunday of the month with lots of home-made goodies, homecooked food, great art and craft pieces and lots of gift ideas for pets and children. But the beach ⛱️ is the place to go, and I consider it one of the most beautiful places in the world. Lots of people go to the beach for early morning walks and surfing before work, and on the footpaths just outside the sand, by the road, there are lots of walkers and joggers. The beach is not busy and has a good breadth of sand as well, so you have plenty of space to sit, put your beach umbrellas up and other people don't have to walk around you. The beach is also patrolled (at specific times) and there are surf life saving outposts at regular intervals along the beach. Shops are not far off, and there are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, fast good joints all close by. Best time to go to the beach for a stroll is either early morning or late afternoon. Heaps of car parking for early morning walkers to park cars, and car parking next to the beach is free till about 9am. Overall an amazing place to just enjoy.

Nice place. No tourists and most are very friendly local residents.
Beautiful place. Near to broadwater. Plenty of paid parking. Good for family picnics.
This is a great place for morning walks with your kids, it has a play ground, channel view, also you may walk along the embankment

Beautiful park. When I take my kids to Surfers Paradise I come here. It's a nice escape from the busy city. It's absolutely beautiful to see the sunset here. Playground for kids, gorgeous gardens, nice sandy beach on the root canal and lots of fish to look at in the water.
Apart from the great river views this place is fantastic for an evening stroll. Excellent vibe probably needs a council BBQ down here to make it a little more family friendly. Also has a nice little beach front where the smaller ones can wade around. You can not beat Surfers when it come to atmosphere period.
