Great park with play equipment including a huge water playground for toddlers to young kids to enjoy, it's a wonderful place especially on a hot day.

Theres also a big climbing tree, slides and swings. There is a cafe selling hot foods and a public toilet. What would be great is more shaded areas.

Bring sun screen, hats and a change of clothes and a towel, and make sure you keep a close eye on young children as the water can get deep at parts and some of the features can hurt small hands.

It's a nice park and very clean, but most people walk their dogs off-leash in unauthorized areas and when it gets dark, no one picks up the poop, there are no rangers around, at all. It is also a place where birds and bats are abundant. If you are going to park your car nearby in the evening, do not park under very large trees. Birds and bats may defecate on them, so be careful.

It is a lovely park close to Watson's bay Area.
What can I say!
Come and visit! By bus from the city/Bondi or ferry from Circular Quay/Rose Bay.

Decent park, but not the best for playing soccer, as the grass is not very even and smooth and dogs go on the fields.
Not to the standard expected for parliament gardens, weedy uncut grass. Hedges well overdue for trimming. Painted pallet seating! A collection of wheely bins. Broken glass all through the car park.
So much missed opportunity to make this garden compliment the beautiful building .
Shocking that this makes the top 5 list of gardens to visit in Hobart , reluctant to bother looking at any others .
It's the place to take children on a sunny day.
There arecso many things for children to enjoy.
Swings, slides, a wonky roundabout, climbing nets, a water fun park, and the water tunnel outside on the parade.

Great park conditions. Lively place. Maintained well. Tennis courts are in not bad condition. I got in for free*
Nice place to rest n relax, this time of the year, watching the crowds exploring our waterfront or having a picnic or just laying on the lawn soaking up the ☀

Nestled in Watsons Bay, Robertson Park stands as a serene harbourside retreat, opposite Gap Park, drawing in a diverse array of visitors seeking relaxation and scenic beauty. Its expansive grassy expanse, adorned with inviting shade trees, serves as a favored spot for locals and international travelers alike, fostering picnics, casual recreation, and captivating views of the harbor and ocean.

What adds to the park's charm is its accessibility. While the park itself boasts a small car park, road-side parking options ensure convenient access for those arriving by car, making it easier for visitors to enjoy the park's offerings without hassle.

In essence, Robertson Park offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and accessibility, providing a picturesque escape for individuals and families seeking a tranquil spot by the harbor without compromising on ease of arrival and departure.

Bring your tent, sheets, and bbq, and this can turn into a good picnic spot.
Take the ferry - I'd recommend to save any hassle with parking or long walks. You would be rewarded by good views on the way..
Always busy on weekends..

"Recently took a walk from Dee Why Beach to Long Reef Beach, and it was an incredible experience! The scenic views along the way were breathtaking, making the entire journey both refreshing and memorable. The combination of the beach atmosphere and the coastal walk created a perfect blend for a great outdoor adventure. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a picturesque and invigorating stroll!

Centrally locates in Darling Harbour - Tumbalong Park close to CBD lots of eateries, malls, the very popular ICC (International Convention Centre) the ever popular holding lots of events from overseas and locally highly commendable to visit all year round 🥰🥳😉
Awesome place in the heart of the city centre.
Modern architecture and many events happening around.
Restaurants and pubs walking distance.

It's a meeting place for people and is central. Pity now it's been overdveloped on all sides with tall buildings. But its still a nice place to go to.

Beautiful park. If you have time, take a ferry and visit this area. Very nice and peaceful. We took the ferry, had lunch at one of the restaurants by the port and took a nap at the park. We were there in September and the weather was beautiful. A little break from the city.

Beautiful garden in the centre of the city. Just go there for a walk.. sit peaceful n enjoy nature. If you want to read a book n sleep for some time this is ideal.. not much crowded.. don’t throw any waste as it very well maintained. No need to carry water as the the public drinking water facility here is so clean n i drank litres of water here. Didn’t do any harm.. visit when you are free to spend few hrs..

nice big, spacious, family and kid friendly park/playground nestled in the heart of the Sydney City CBD.
Lots of great food options, dining space and picnic spots around the park, surrounded by fast food options and more fancy restaurants and cafes.
Tumbalong Park is equipped with a huge playground with a water fountain and splash park directly next door with sheltered seating, public toilets every couple hundred metres, and a very accessible public pedestrian access all around with multiple public transport facilities like the light rail and trains, being a 5-10 minute walk away.
Overall Tumbalong Park is an incredibly popular, accessible and loaded with many different attractions and activities, for individuals and family.

Quite crowded. Animals are not afraid of humans, so respect them as well. They will let you take photos quietly!
Great place to watch live music on Saturdays when Salamanca markets are running. Nice open space to eat lunch and relax before heading off to any part of the CBD.
A nice tranquil gardens with beautiful old oak trees, wooden benches and relaxing views

Turwul Park offers a refreshing escape with its well-maintained green spaces and recreational areas. The pathways are ideal for a leisurely stroll or morning jog, and the open spaces are great for families and gatherings. While the park provides a peaceful ambiance, adding a few more amenities or enhancing the existing ones could elevate the overall experience for visitors. All in all, it's a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors, with some potential for enhancement.

The park is fairy large and can get busy but there is quite a lot of grassy area here so there is qutie a bit of space, even if it was busy. There are some trees around the park particularly on the playground end. There were also benches which didn't have any cover. The other end of the park leads to the Chinese Garden of Friendship and there are more trees here as well as a fountain which you can play in.

Pleasant expanse of green, right next to the water. Enjoy a picnic!

🍭 Small, fenced-in playground

⛴️ Adjoining the Watsons Bay ferry stop

🚻 Toilets up the back, next to the gazebo

❗ Don't miss heading out the back and having a peek at The Gap! Some of the best views in Sydney!

At Alexandra Gardens for Moomba festival. Hadn't been to Moomba for years and years but wandered around for an hour, checking out rides, food offerings and side-show Alley games. Had coffee (decaf soy latte) and 2 hot jam donuts from Dough Truck, tried from 2 different sellers, lucky tickets (both unlucky) and again tried luck on laughing clowns. They have beaten me since childhood, today was no different. There were so many rides for kids, teenagers and kidults and heaps of different food offerings (tacos, Greek, crepes, fish and chips, dumplings, ice creams etc) and many games of skill (shoot basketball, knock down milk bottles, pick up floating ducks etc) and games of chance (lucky tickets). Was packed but not too overwhelming. Take kids and lots of cash. Great location.

This park is at Watson Bay, right next to the ferry terminal. Huge patch of grass, and great for dogs to be roaming around or a simple picnic. There are quite a few restaurants around here, but do be careful of the seagulls, especially if you have food on you. Beyond it all, this is a great place to just chill and not worry about life too much.
Very greenery place to sit and lay down. Salamanca market is just around.

Used to walk my two boys from Fisher St to Stanmore Public School in the mid 90s. They always had a play here. Such places are holy ground, where one could meditate on Christ or eat a Paddle Pop. Erskinville Kings led me back here. In 2018 my son took me to walk the causeway at Crammond, in Edinburgh. I later learned my great great grandparents lived in Crammond in the early 1800s. Circles....

Lovely spot with good sized park and large shady trees. The bay water is calm so a great spot for swimming. Limited street parking is available but can be tricky. The Watsons Bay Hotel has great take away options to enjoy in the park including outstanding fish and chips and fish burgers. Public toilets are available in the park

A place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the Melbourne CBD. Situated just across the river on the picturesque Princes Bridge this park is a haven of peace. You can walk, cycle, run or chill out by the river. There are some beautiful mature trees & well kept gardens where it's hard to believe you are in the centre of a large city.

Nice gardens with a few Tasman fountains and statues! A great resting place when the Salamanca market is on. Some decent views over the harbour area, and definitely a point of interest when in Hobart! Parliament House on one side and the Sullivan’s Bay boat docks on the other. Plenty of seating, and a lovely place for a picnic of break.

Nice family oriented park. A few steep hills great for running. Dosent appear to have a cafe. Probably a good thing.
Good place for meditation on Christ. Everything is good to know that I'm Loving my Lord.
What an amazing park. I didn't even realise it was there until we went for a walk after leaving the Salamanca markets. A scene of multicultural education and music.
