Ordered some drinks through table service. The drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive, so this was a buzzkill. The drinks were good though, but the wait was too long. Music was upbeat, but repetitive. The main attraction at this bar is that it's a rooftop bar looking straight over the city and water, so it is a very nice atmosphere to have a drink at.

Rooftop bar with harbor and opera house view that was beautiful as well as the buildings in Sydney. Watching the ferries go in and out of the harbor was relaxing. Positive jumping vibe, bartenders were in point and fast. Burger was ok fries were nice. Looking at other tables portion sizes looked good. Crowd was friendly and accommodating letting us share a covered table when the rain came thru. Wonderful rooftop bar accessible by all in whatever you are wearing :)

We went to the rooftop bar for a drink and a bite to eat. The staff is warm and friendly. The bar was very crowded, but we managed to find a table.

Ordered our drinks and a cheeseburger 🍔. The cheeseburger is nothing to get excited about. Pretty much tasted like a frozen patty thrown on the grill. Let's just say it was more than well done.

The views are amazing totally, making it a great experience to stop by for a beverage.

Spectacular venue, one of a kind ... however, the trouble with hotel's restaurant ... cost of meals for ordinary boring meals, it did not complement the spectacular heritage listed building ...

The hotel breakfast here is amazing! great selection of hot foods, cereals, pancakes, cheeses and meats, and pastries. Cost about $40 but I think slightly cheaper if you purchase the day before

We just came here to have drink and enjoy the best view of the Sydney Opera House. Highly recommend making reservations or arriving very early, like before everyone leaves their jobs. We did eat so I didn't rate the store.

Great spot. Got parking out front. Few cold ones and a feed on a Sunday arvo. Food was great. Burger was excellent and steak was cooked to perfection. Not to over crowded.

very mid soundproofing, could hear other rooms + door didn't automatically fully shut. quality of music also varied - backing vocals option was temperamental and audio levels were different from song to song. mic dropped in and out. food and drinks were okay. only two cubicles in toilets. despite these issues though we had a very fun night and ended up extending our 3hr karaoke experience to 4hrs.

Had my wedding reception there with one of the banquet menus that included food and unlimited drinks for 4 hours. A fantastic day, their team helped get everything organised with a private dinning room.

The best service I’ve ever experienced. Your staff are all so friendly and inviting. I’m not a big red meat eater but this was absolutely incredible. I couldn’t choose a favourite course coz each course was just as good as the next. Loved the ambience. Will definitely be back to try the tomahawk, very intriguing!

Incredible selection of whiskeys along with tasting paddles make this place a great place to go for the experience. Lots of different choices of whiskey and experienced / trained staff make the journey a pleasurable one.

What an extraordinary restaurant. My Fiancée and I enjoyed a super delicious six course meal which consisted of really generous portions, a gorgeous bottle of wine and cocktails here on Sunday. We are VERY pleased with the service, food, drinks and just overall experience. The service was immaculate, and we are so grateful for receiving the special gesture in our dessert. The staff members are so kind, thoughtful, easy to talk to, and very professional. We are definitely going back, and highly recommend them. Thank you for making our day extra special, we truly appreciate it.

Superb service, decent food, maybe just a tad overpriced but it’s a steakhouse and you’d expect that in Sydney.

Loved their deep fried calamari. Haven’t had a decent batter in ages. Scallops were a bit bland. Lobster Mac n cheese was worth a try. Tried their specially chocolate aged steak, husband lovely it.

My Fiancée and I had our first experience here. Really great vibe, music and drinks. We didn't receive good service from the lady (might be the manager) behind the bar, but other than that we enjoyed our time at The Argyle.

Gertrude St is a pretty trendy place, but go up the stairs above Belle’s and you’ll be transported to somewhere reminiscence of the 1920s. Dark wood, moody yet cosy atmosphere perfect for a tipple (or more). Whether you decide to order from the menu or leave it to the bartender’s choice, you’ll be in safe hands. Highly recommended, just be careful with the stairs going down after as those drinks are pretty tasty.

First time coming here, and it was one amazing experience. The food was fantastic, every bite was spot on the servers were friendly and professional and were a delight to talk to. All in all were glad we came here for our anniversary, and we will definitely do it again. Thanks to all the team.

The service was great until 11:30pm when we were told that the bar was going to close despite the birthday package detailing that we would have a private bar until 12.30am… We payed a lot of money for the VIP experience but got an average welcome and the same treatment as everyone else who were just ‘walk ins’. Not worth the $500 for a VIP experience, very disappointed. Our personal assistant, Grishma, only appeared at the start of our service and I never saw her again. Won’t be coming to the Argyle again. A waste of money.

In this Karaoke Bar, you will not even get a tiny bit of Privacy. The CCTVs on the each floor is constantly watched by the security guards, and when I say constantly I mean it. Like staring at the screen of CCTV all the time, know exactly what you are doing. Our room was busted into by one of the security guard, she was aggressive in communication, and had verbally made my friend cry because of how intimidating she was to her. When our friend got escorted out from the venue, no information was communicated to us from the security in regards to the reason of how the decision was made. If any information was to be communicated to us prior, or even a warning of what not to do, then at least we can manage our friends if they were not complying. This Karaoke clearly fail to provide a private space while claiming to be a Private Room. Even through the package is reasonably priced, from the attitude from the security, I was extremely disappointed and the entire night was by the act of the security.
If you want to enjoy your night, read the reviews before you book so that you don't ruin your night.

Went here over the weekend and the food, the service and atmosphere were great. 5 out of 5.
The server was great and explaining the menu, we enquired if there was a smaller rib eye to share and she said they were cut to order depending on the weight. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Hokkaido scallops too. Will come here again for special occasions.

We had so much fun here, it was so good. There was about a group of 10 of us, you pay 42 per person, and then 70% of that cash goes towards the tab. Was a great night out.

Our group was there for pre dinner drinks so we didn’t try the food menu other than crudités/olives/nuts. Cocktails are delicious, wine menu is nicely curated and not exhaustive. Miki looked after us with great hospitality, we enjoyed our Friday evening there and would love to go back.

Last night I was at Alice with my friends having drinks and dinner after we trying to leave 4 Indian guys wouldn’t stop harassing us and wanted to take us to a hotel. We approached the security at the door bold guy with beard and let him know, we were terrified to leave as our hotel was only 500m home and didn’t have enough to pay for taxi. He paid for our taxi. Kindest guy ever

This has been on my hit list for many years. The menu didn't have too many options, which was great as Felix must have refined it over the years.

The food was really nice! The standout was the duck and beef tartare. In addition, the apple tart for dessert was very tarty and mature.

The atmosphere was nice. However, it would have been nice to implement cushions on the seats as we were seated for 3 hours. The entrees came all out at once. The table was full for a table of 3, so I wish they staggered out servings. We ordered the 1kg rib eye to be cooked medium rare. It was served rare. I don't mind rare beef. However, the other table members preferred it to be medium rare.

The really nice touch of hospitality was when the tartare was served. The waiter prepared the spice, beef, and egg in front of us on a cart. In addition, the waitress brought out our duck once it was cooked but before it prepared and sliced. They gave our table a little breakdown of how the ducks region and how it has been prepared leading up to tonight.

All in all, it was a nice dinner. My 2 guests each had some drinks, and our bill for 3 came to $458, which it very fair.

Awesome view from the rooftop area day or night. The food menu is rather limited and our meals were just OK. My wife had mushroom quesadillas which were bland and I had halumi salad which was tasty but not exceptional.

At Argyle Nightclub, where the music's volume competes with the sound of my own thoughts and the lighting is darker than my coffee order! But hey, if you've ever wondered what it feels like to dance amidst a legion of glow-sticks while being temporarily blinded by spontaneous strobe lights, this is your paradise.

For everyone whinging about service, it's a nightclub, what do you expect 😂...I went after ages and relived those younger days. Would have been oldest or older than the most in there.

Was lucky to be let in straight away without standing in queue , maybe the grey hair allowed for that.

The music at Argyle is pretty good but we paid $500 for a VIP table just for them to take it away from us after 2 hours! $500!!!!!!! We just got a bottle of vodka and champagne and cheap mixers for $500. Could’ve bought it for so much cheaper at a liquor store. Ridiculous!! You would expect to have the table for the whole night if you’re spending $500 for it. Rip off!!!!! Other than that it’s a good club. We also go to this club all the time and the manager even knows us and they still ripped us off. Unbelievable!!!!

Food was absolutely lovely. We started off with artisan bread with smoked beef butter (special, but a tad too smokey for us). We followed with beef fillet and miso salmon, both of which were delicious. Was also thoughtful of them to have served up dessert at the end of the meal to celebrate our anniversary :)

Was a pity we didn't manage a table outdoors as it'd have been nice to sit right next to the wharf overlooking the opera house :)

I had a really great time at Felix. The staff knew the menu and specials intimately and the recommended wine was perfectly paired with dinner. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! If you’re looking to impress or just have a fancy night out Felix is perfect.

We visited the Argyle in search of a bargain - on 10c dumpling Thursdays during happy hour! While prices were low, so was the quality of the food and service we received. Despite being advertised until 10 o'clock, dumplings sold out at 7pm. Our food was cold when it arrived to the table. The bar staff struggled to handle even short queues in the 30 minutes leading up to happy hour ending. Despite this, we are giving the Argyle the benefit of the doubt and will try it again before writing it off entirely. The drinks and music were saving grace.

Jedd the bartender were so talented and I haven’t had a nice cocktail in a while in Sydney. He really made my day. Will definitely come back if Jedd is there.

What a great little gem of a bar. A worthy visit for sure. Take a seat at the bar, get stuck into their signature cocktails, and leave the outside world behind as you soak up the atmosphere.

Great location inside historical building, we went there for having a drink while viewing the Opera House. The atmosphere was vibrant, young and relaxed and we enjoyed it! Keep it like it is!

What can I say, PERFECTION.
From the staff to the food to the wine to the amazing atmosphere.

Firstly the staff, they were super friendly, helpful knowledgeable. They did all seem alittle rushed but that did not come across in the direct dealings with them.

The food, Taste was amazing, serving sizes were perfect. We had steak and gnocci with some sides and the steak was cooked to perfection and the gnocci was delicious.
We also had the souffle, it was light, fluffy and delicious, only comment was flavours were alittle off, the citrus was overpowering, But still delicious.
We had the beetroot salad, it was alittle under flavoured.

Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu next time.

Beautiful views of Darling Harbour, nice & cosy atmosphere. The gin cocktails were very nice and looked pretty. The food was tasty, we had the sliders (chicken and beef) and the meatballs however, I would say the food was pretty over priced for what you get.

I would go back but only for drinks & the view 🍹

Stunning place with beautiful bar. Server were attentive and polite. Followed the reviews here and ordered the gnocchi and the creme brulee. Was very very good. The tartare was delicious and mixed tableside to your preferences.

Fine French dining, with a beautiful Parisian ambience. Hidden behind Angel Place, this is a gem, only known to those who know. And yet it’s always full, which means there is a lot of repeat business. If you are looking for a classy business lunch, or a romantic special date, Felix should be on your list. The menu offers great seafood, oysters, steak and a wonderful win list. It’s a pricey destination, but worth it. The service is superb.

Fine way to spend a Sunday arvo although I found it a little expensive. Pleasant staff and food was good enough. The cocktails were great and the views are expansive. Good choice of wines. We booked but there was room for walk ins.

We attended last weekend and had to go out to attendants on 4 occasions regarding mics going flat or disconnecting. Finally we were moved to another room by the lag on the tablet was so bad and it was hanging off the wall as it had been pulled out. For the inconvenience we were given a further 5 minutes on our booking. I would not go back here again or recommend to anyone looking to karaoke in the Melbourne cbd, lots of other options with better facilities and more reliable equipment.

The Everleigh is a fantastic cocktail bar. Soft, warm mood lighting, wood panelling and leather furniture create the perfect atmosphere for delicious cocktails and quality conversation. The service is also unparalleled. The one cocktail I ordered that was not to my liking was quickly scooped up by our waitor with apologies and replaced with something new. There is sometimes a wait for a table, but it is worth it.

We had the ultimate date night at sax night / Grain Bar, booked through Urban Swan! We enjoyed deliciously brewed cocktails with an impressive ingredient list. It was so much fun to watch our drinks being made and enjoying the dim lighting of this cool venue while we listened to the sound of groovy sax all night. The alcohol list is extensive (I’m talking pages) so always expect a boujee experience here. The staff are definitely a vibe, and very fun to watch as they shake, stir and curate your perfect cocktail! @ahungryhalfie

Not only does Grain have an amazing array of whisky, it has wonderful staff like Noemi, who can help you choose what you might enjoy. Also the charcuterie board was delicious.

A funky yet sophisticated bar to enjoy your drinks in. Service was fantastic and it was great to have the staff curate drinks for you based on a couple questions.

A must stop if you’re in the area as it’s very different from your “typical” bars through its 1940s to 70s vibes.

Great poker room, handful of 2/2 tables running that had a great mix of friendly locals up for a chat. Any skill level is welcome and would recommend for a first timer!

For those who are interested, rake was 10% on 2/2 capped at $16 with $1 of that going towards the jackpot (currently at $35000 for royal flush)

2/5 rake was 5% capped at $21 with $1 for jackpot. They also run a high card on some nights which is drawn at 11pm. If you are the winner of the highest holding at the end of this time you also get a $250 bonus for the night.

None of the higher limit tables seem to get up often.

Good place to catch up with friends and have few drinks. Bouncers are huge grizzly bears but very friendly. Happy hour prices from 90’s. Becomes a night club late at nights.

Really cool pub with an amazing view of the harbour and the Opera House. There are lots of levels and rooms so it manages to feel cozy despite being quite large. We were on the rooftop which was very well heated and was really comfortable. Pretty typical pub fare on offer here.

It was quiet on Thursday evening but we tuned our visit to correspond with fireworks in Darling Harbour so that improved the atmosphere.
The arancini and chocolate souffle are delicious.
Expect to spend $$$. And in the winter expect to be cold, the wind comes straight off the water, dress warm.

Oh what a night, it really was. The ballroom was decorated so beautifully for the xmas in July show. The food was absolutely amazing; staff were attentive and friendly. The show was brilliant, well done all round. Worth every cent and more! Brilliant!

Nice non alcoholic cocktails for non drinkers (see photo for example), nice food and good food. However when the place gets packed the atmosphere becomes a bit to busy and the service begins to drop as expected. Only issue with that is the price you pay for the experience, the service should remain consistently high.

Great, sophisticated, loud, fun, pricey. You're asked if you'd like more drinks, if not - if you'd like a bill. But it is nice, we got complimentary snacks/peanuts.

We’re absolutely creeped out by what happened when we were here!! We were group of 5 and one friend was tired so she was just dozing off on the sofa and suddenly One security just burst opened the door and stood there creepingly staring at my friend and I didn’t see his security id card so I thought he was a random person so tried shutting the door on him but he pushed opened the door hard started going off at me for shutting the door on him and we all were so confused, then after looking around i saw the security id card. And i said he should’ve knocked or given us a signal from the glass frame in the door but he was so nonchalant and didn’t even say sorry! Absolutely ruined our night by this. It was around 1:20am 30th June, room 12 ground floor if you can review the cctv footage. Also its not even on the house rules saying we can’t sleep in the room or whatever. But still if so he should have introduced himself as security guard and proceed saying we can’t sleep in the room. Never coming back in this place and wasn’t worth the price we paid.

came in for dessert and the food melts in your mouth, delicious and warm. great seating areas and not too crowded. quite pricey but worth it. don’t recommend coming when the IVY club is open but apart from that, it’s really worth coming.

This bar is next to the Felix restaurant( check out my review of it) and together they make for the ideal date night. There are some larger tables and also suitable for a group of friends.
This is worth a visit. Ash Lane is a secret lane running behind George Street.

I came here with friends on Friday, 26th May 2023. Amazing venue, I have always wanted to visit this place for months now and I'm glad I finally did! It is great for a first date, intimate dates, celebration or hang out with friends. I love that you can still talk and hear each other properly although there is live music. The artists performed so well and loved their music/performance! The staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating.

The only downside is the drinks takes way too long when you do table order. I was waiting for my drink for nearly half an hour to the point that I had to cancel it as we were leaving.

The selling point is having the Sydney Harbour view. The decoration at 6HEAD is cheerful and welcoming.

The food presentation is good. Food tasted good, but we thought it could be better. Their food tastes good. dont get me wrong, but with that price, that location, that view, we have higher expectations on the food. I ordered mac & cheese , it was the best among all. Dad ordered a beef steak (not shown in pic),it was not to his expectation. The prawn starter was huge and good. Australia oysters are small and tasty than the huge oysters that we used to have. Salmon main has, I think, chunky beef with the beans ? We had a vegetarian mains too.

The staff there were very lively and helpful. But payment wise, maybe different cultures, it took us quite awhile for paying the bill.

It's a place to go. Sit back and relax, and have a good romantic sunset view of Sydney Harbour with food and drinks. You have to try it at least once !

A really nice place to go to loose your money ! Drinks are a good price and happy hour is even better . The restaurant has some tasty and surprisingly good value meals . Steak was perfect. They have done a wonderful job converting the old railway station.

Yeah, it's a Casino so you could be lucky or not.

If you like sports and a bet or Keno then this #1 in Adelaide.

Great deals for drinks in the late arvo with discount drinks. $4 from 4pm $5 from 5pm & $6 from 6pm, simple.
You get even more discounts if you sign up with their Sky City card. It's worth it as it's free to join, just come with current licence for ID.
With cheap meals on different days it's a winner 🏆 every day. The meals I posted were Lobster tail @ $20 & chicken schnitzel at $23.

I had a fab time here. Most staff are friendly. I won on the machines and didn't even know till someone pointed it out. 10% off food and drinks if you're a member. For month of March 2023 - free parking if you spend over $10. Happy hour drinks (4pm on a sat is when we were there) were amazing value - $4 for sparkling wine. Had a nice decaffeinated latte. Came here after taking my UK friend on Popeye. He's never been to a casino but he enjoyed the excitement. Will definitely come back. As a girl I would feel safe on my own in here. Will come back for lobster 😊💕🦞

Cocktails were amazing I had a delish amaretto sour and staff were so nice and friendly and we enjoyed our evening here. The tables weren’t too busy and the atmosphere was great. The bar tenders were so sweet and the signage was very good so it was easy to know where everything is. The casino is also very central a few minutes walk from Rundle Mall.

Gorgeous furnishings, impeccable styling and service. We felt at home even though our guest had never been somewhere so ‘swanky’ she enjoyed the wonderful service and felt at home.
The music was perfect, the staff looked amazing and you really felt like you’d stepped back in time.
The bartenders choice cocktails were all perfectly matched to our tastes.
Will be back again!

Truly one of the best bars in Sydney. It boasts an excellent location and view of darling Harbour accessible through the Hyatt Regency hotel. This spot is fantastic for viewing the Saturday night fireworks with a vantage point you won't get anywhere else. Bartenders performed at an extremely high level with a fantastic mix of cocktails on offer. The food was delicious we ordered the truffle-cheese sliders and lobster popcorn which was to die for. Everything came out in a very reasonable amount of time and the staff service was great. Would recommend this bar to anyone.

This is a very cute cozy bar. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The overall vibe of this venue is very sheike with cozy plush chairs and booths. I highly recommend trying the Stay Up Very Late cocktail. The Parma ham and melon dish was quite tasty too. This venue is suited for pre drinks or for a late night sesh. Great for smaller groups and date night.

I love this harbour, but sometimes it gets too much. Y'know, Prince was amazing, but...after a while...too much. At those times, there's grain. The dark lit, timber and high ceilings shtick is married with the nibbles in silver bowls, and a drinks list as comprehensive as Trump's IRS report card. Except you'll find plenty to like here. The food is decent. You will pay for the privilege of peace, but sanctuaries are so for that reason.

The first time coming here was for my Birthday 🎂 and then later for my work Christmas 🎄party. Both times this place has left me with a great impression, special mention to a staff member Juliana who has a keen eye and looks out for you. She made my birthday extra special and I give my thanks. The views at the bar are especially gorgeous day and night, and their small platters are scrumptious but most of all it's all about the cocktails, as there is a large range and since returning I found they change it up which is fun! Come try them all!

One of the must-go place of Adelaide and the only casino in South Australia. Whether you are coming from interstate or from South Australia, this place is a place to relax with so many options to choose from. Obviously, it is a great gaming area with roulettes, black jacks, and poker tournaments. Lots of popular signature restaurants like Sean's kitchen, ITL, and Madam Hanoi. Other quick and daily deal restaurants and cafes like Guardsman, Central Cafe, Lucky Noodles. Got a rooftop bar called SOL, too. And live music during weekends in District plus live sports to enjoy from.

A perfect spot to enjoy a warm Sydney sunset!

We popped in this afternoon to enjoy a couple of glasses of Champaign whilst watching the sunset. Honestly, such a perfect venue for it. The view back over the harbour are just divine! There is a strong beverage list and bar menu as well.

Please note this is not a cheap establishment. Whilst everything is lovely, this is not the sort of place you attend for cheap drinks, it’s 100% atmosphere and location!

Everything is better with great company - and Little Felix delivered a great night of service, food and drink.

Steak Tartare was delicious, absolutely loved it. Stronger on the mustard than most.

Duck Terrine was good, not spectacular, small portion for $16.

Ham and Melon a classic combo though poor execution with bruised melon and small for $16.

Drinks were great - nothing too memorable (good or bad up to you) but overall a fantastic evening. Takes AMEX.

Amazing little bar. The ambience is warm and cozy, dimly lit with velvet chairs and little tables. It isn’t set up to be as packed as Topa around the corner so you can have a conversation without having to yell across the table - that’s a plus if you like the company you’re with. There is a small alfresco area but honestly I’d sit inside. The service was amazing. Wine recommendation was spot on and the cheese plate was just perfect. We walked in with no booking after dinner on a Friday night and was still able to get a table.

Went to check this new upmarket bar at The Rocks Argyle Street. I really enjoyed the hospitality, free entree drink and free snacks from the bar. The ambiance was chill, relaxing and music wasn’t loud. The food was nice especially the beef skewer, it was tender and yum. I’m not too sure about the cocktails tho. They were nicely presented but I didn’t really get the taste. Like, the taste seemed every thing a bit here and there but not united? I’m confused how to describe it lol. Apart from the cocktails, I have nothing bad to say lol. Price wise is standard for the bar. We had 2 cocktails each which set us $50 each. We shared 3 food: beef skewer, kingfish ceviche and chicken sandwich. In total it was about $80/pp. I gave 5 stars for the free snack and welcome drink (not sure if it’s alcoholic, didn’t pay attention when the staff explained it). There are barely any bars in Sydney giving freebies. Otherwise it’d be 4 stars :)

I love love loved the vibe of the place and the service was amazing especially with the complimentary drink and snacks. Only turns out it wasn't so much complimentary as the night came with a service charge that I didn't see mentioned anywhere. Overall I still thought the night was worth it but beware! Feels a little sneaky!

A favourite spot for after work cocktails in the city, good small bites and you can always drop next door to the restaurant. It’s in a cute little laneway behind Totti’s and the vibe is very Parisian

Cool new place. Great service and the staff really know everything on the menu inside out. The drinks were on point, plus there's a whole mocktail menu too!

My work colleagues went to Kbox last Saturday andcwe had a blast. The staff are nice and very accomodating. The room is just right for us. We were providef 5 microphones and one seems to be not working so it was fixed straight away. The lighting and sounds gets everyone in a happy mood. The food and drinks are well worth the price. Definetely had fun and would come back in the future.
