I went here in an emergency situation. My young Cavoodle was thought to have swallowed a piece of Lego. They treated him kindly and checked on him throughout our visit while he emptied his tummy. There was no Lego. I found it at home in the shaggy rug under my bed. I was happy with eir service.
On what was a sad occasion today, Sarah & Amy were the most gloriously beautiful, compassionate, kind & mood lifting ladies one could possibly ask for during tough times. Amazing to have such a wonderful team of young ladies have your back and such great support. How grateful I am.

Well unfortunately for my dog spooky and myself we turned up for our pre arranged annual check up and (tick ) inspection with Kim.
Informed that no such appointment was made at reception. This is the second occasion I have had an issue unfortunately. Nothing else I can say, other than disappointing.

The staff here are amazing. They are so professional and caring. And Andrew the vet went above and beyond to help my fur babies. And because I'm disabled they tried to help me as much as they could financially and let me know how much everything was going to be so I didn't have any unwanted expenses. I thought it was the end for one of my babies but Andrew fixed him and he's still here by my side as my support like he always has been. 💜🐾🫶🐾
They are great there, when choc is in need they are always available for her. Staff are all so friendly, caring and helpful

Highly recommend Dr Kim and her team. If you are looking for vitamin C infusions to assist with the battle of your dog’s cancer (which is hard to find), I highly recommend this practice.
TUGAN has been our family vet for long time. Kim is awesome.

The Tugun Vet team are always welcoming, caring and professional when our family visits. When we needed urgent care, they have been so obliging with helping us and I am super grateful for how well they look after our fur babies
I got recommended to go here from another vet to see Dr Katie King, she was amazing! My cat Bean was so comfortable and calm in her presence and she was very helpful with all my questions and provided lots of information for me. The prices are also very reasonable! Thank you so much for looking after my baby x 💖
Great vets I've been taking my dog Lola there since I moved to the Goldie about 3.5years. Friendly staff and gentle understanding vets as my staffie is terrified of vets and most activities out of the norm!
Don’t normally do these reviews but here I am. I have been using this location for my pets for the last 28 years. The original owner Dr. Andrew was fantastic, so lovely and so caring, I would not go anywhere else if you paid me. Since it changed hands maybe 5 or 6 years ago (a few times) , we have had nothing but disappointment. No one knows our name or greets our pets by name , every time we go there it’s like we have never been there before and they have no clue who we are let alone who our pets are.
I showed up there today to my dog being greeted warmly, (she had no clue what his name was even tho it would have been on the computer screen) no clue what my name was (even tho it would have been on her computer screen) Then go in to see the vet and he doesn’t greet my dog by name even though he has been treating him for the last 3 years. What happened to customer service? What happened to making people feel like they are doing the best for our pets by keeping up the ever increasing expense and upkeep and care for them ? Where is the sense of community?
We had a very traumatic experience at this vet 5 years ago with our last dog, we had EVERY reason to find another vet but chose to stay loyal and give them another chance as they had just taken over and of course there was some teething problems. But now I feel I have given this practice enough time to have things sorted. This place is just not “personal” enough for my liking and it’s time for me to find a practice that will welcome me and my 3 pets with the warmth and reassurance I am looking for.

These guys have an extraordinary commitment to treating and saving Australia native wildlife! Endlessly thankful for the time and energy they put into each patient.
I donate money everytime I go to the sanctuary and as a lover of animals I am very disappointed and angry. Recently called to get assistance and I was denied as it was a "council" issue when it involved the lives of animals. It was a life or death situation that also involved baby animals as well. Very disappointing and I will not be giving anymore money if they can't be bothered to help animals which is literally what they are all about.
Great place. You can find gorillas, giraffes, Kangaroos, Tiger, 🦁, Elephants. They are preserving a lot of soon to be extinct species. This is the 1st carbon neutral zoo in the entire world. Well maintained and observed regularly by volunteers, workers. They are taking good care of the animals inside. The gorilla 🦍 rainforest was really very amazing then comes the kangaroo island. And yea the sea penguins 🐧 were also nice.
Staff are always friendly and helpful and the vets take their time. Dr Bailey was particularly good and took her time explaining everything I needed to know.
At first, I thought AU$46 (adult) was a little bit pricy, but it was so worth it. I had a great time here to watch various animals and was very glad to see their good living environment compared to other zoos. They had 'Koala talk' at 11AM, and I was happy to be there.
We love the zoo , arrived at 10ish and didn’t wait long to enter into the zoo. The gardens are very beautiful, abs even though it was school holidays we found we didn’t need to wait very long to get through different enclosures . We particularly enjoyed the giraffes and the butterfly house .
fantastic zoo in Melbourne and definitely something I would go back again and again, especially with the zoo membership kids get in for free during the school holidays in Melbourne and on the weekend with the adults. we had a great time.
They deleted my initial review. I took a baby rainbow lorikeet in that had fallen from a tree in a dog park. The lady was rude and almost annoyed that I had brought it in and said it was a waste of time and that it would die anyway. She almost made me feel bad for trying to help my native wildlife. Disgusting behaviour from a wildlife hospital of all places. Do better.

These guys are wonderful and should be commended for what they do in our community. Special thanks to Suzy for helping me with the baby waterhen that I helped rescue from a drain. Keep up this amazing work guys.
Fantastic zoo! Went here on a Tuesday and there was a fair bit of a crowd, but there was no wait to enter at all. Bought tickets on-site, staff were friendly and welcoming. Large variety of animals that look well cared for. Only issue was that some animals were moved to different enclosures, so we could not see them. However, we had to amazing opportunity to see the wombat while it was awake, so that made up for everything. Food at the cafes were filling and tasted great, would recommend for families and animal enthusiasts to come here 👍
Great experience, kids loved it. Everything comes off a main street so it's easy to navigate. Mornings are better so the cats are slightly more active. There is a clever orangutan who sits with a blanket on him. Cafes are decent.

The zoo is within walking distance of the CBD, and it's an enjoyable walk through the suburbs. It's also well served via the tram network. Very friendly staff and well laid out with a tremendous amount to see. It's a great day out for old and young, with plenty of toilets and places to eat and drink. I visited out of season and on a weekday (Monday, July), so it was busy, but far from crowded).
Modern zoos have a difficult tightrope to balance between entertainment and conservation and Melbourne's Zoo does this well. It's great to see animals being well cared for and mostly happy in their confinement, including a couple of baby elephants. The large aviaries are excellent to walk through, yet no so spacious that you end up having to play hunt-the-animal in the enclosures. No zoo will ever be perfect, but this one must be high up on the list of good ones, and ones doing their best to make a difference in terms of education and values in conservation.
The butterfly house is a must visit - tranquil, fragile beauty abounds.

We visited on a Monday so it wasn't crowded; although the drawback was that there were less food stalls open. Overall the zoo was extremely lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The zoo itself was also gorgeous and clean. Favorites were the lemurs and butterfly exhibits!
🐒🦍🦁🐘🦛🦘WOW! Melbourne zoo was amazing - cannot recommend this enough for adults and kids alike. You will definitely need a whole day here - there is so much to see and do and I highly recommend seeing any of the zoo keeper demonstrations. Only thing that I didn’t like were the prices at the cafe but if you bring your own food you can avoid it! Recommmend buying a membership as we have and can’t wait to come back again!

Excellent Vet, Dr Suzzanne. Gave Very good attention to our 9 week old Jack Russell and gave us lots of pointers. Good counter staff & very helpful and friendly. I can definitely recommend this Palm Beach Vet Clinic. We will certainly be back for any further care or attention. On follow ups, we found Dr Andrew very helpful and sincere, although he is not available every day, best to phone first 😉
Low value. Very poorly organised. Not much to see. Little information about what to do when. Best bit is the bird show.
This is the best Vet practice on the entire Gold Coast. In every possible way. From the moment that you make your initial call - the staff go way above and beyond. Natalie is amazing, and has helped us out so much with my cat who needs particular food, and when none was available she searched and even made an account with a different company to get him food that was identical.
Susan our vet, is amazing!!!! My boy cat has walked funny for a few years, and yet every other vet on the Coast that I asked told me he was fine, he wasn't sore nothing was wrong. She went to the trouble of putting his front feet on the table and watched how he got up, and he favoured one of his legs to pull the other one up !!!!! So, I wasn't silly - he does have issues there. It is not painful, but if anything happens in the future at least I have peace of mind that she knows exactly what is going on. She even had the lovely older gentleman Vet come to have a look ....
They even let me take my girl cat in to give her her worming tablets as she bites and scratches, and makes it so difficult that I accidentally hurt her throat when I did it. So, it means the world to me that they get the nurse to worm her for me when she needs worming.
They don't try to push money making things on you for your animal. They do what is necessary, and are so thorough and so understanding if my pain is bad and I have to cancel an appointment. They all go way above and beyond to make sure that you can get everything you need for your pet.
I cannot recommend Palm Beach Greencross Vets enough.... We travel all the way from Miami, but I would travel from anywhere on the Gold Coast to go to them and will never go to a different vet ever.
You will be so happy and confident and know that you and your pet is being looked after in every possible way, and with so much care and love.

We were so grateful to Greencross Vets for saving our very sick Puppy. They were professional and caring. They explained every step and we were so comfortable leaving our Puppy in their care.

Wonderful Vet's, nurses, and volunteers who care for our wildlife. They do an incredible job.
Thank you to Dr Sam for helping our family in a very hard decision in putting my dog to sleep. She was comforting, knowledgeable and sincere. A token gesture was given to acknowledge your dedication to the hardest job of saying the truth about your family member. I will and so is my family so thankful for your support. We loved the card and the print of "miffy's feet. Keep being the wonderful vet you are...you make a big difference..to the fur community and of course the humans.
The veterinarians here are fantastic and provide great feed back and information on your pets and any problems you might have. They are not attached to a store like more and more are these days and as a result aren't pushing products on you unless you actually require them. My dog has had major issues and I have been to a few in the area and trust these guys the most with her care. They do have those monlthy plans that help if your animal requires multiple trips per year. The care plan they offer does not cover as much as their competitors, however you get what you pay for and these guys are worth the extra.
Colin is the new vet and he is very caring and I found him to be very knowledgeable. He takes the time to talk and really cares about your pets well being. Not just prescribing expensive drugs .. excellent results that I have not been able to get from anyone else
After a donation by ACPHARM, our pharmacist Jack Hammond had the privilege of being a vet for a day. This hospital run primarily on donations and without your help they cannot help the sick and injured wildlife that come in on a daily basis. The staff and volunteers all work tirelessly to rehabilitate and release wildlife. It was such an amazing place!
I have been using Alpha for over 7 years and am extremely happy with the service Dr Andrew Bullen provides my pets, he is a very knowledgeable man passionate about his work and shows he cares immensely for his patients and his clients. The staff are always helpful and offer the best advice (Not trying to sell you things you don't need like some vets I've been to) I have no hesitation what-so-ever with recommending this practice to anyone who wants adequate care.
