Creepy owner, kept staring at me as if he’s some superior human being.
Should be born again and learn that there are several cultures out there and all should be treated equally well.

I was there for breakfast , was busy but the view was amazing and also to mention the food was quite delicious . With very simple menu every thing tastes really well also the coffee was good.
We ordered chicken burger , cheese and spinach sandwich and pork roll that we enjoyed along with a great view of the opera house and the harbour bridge.

I was there at this cafe with my wife on a Saturday afternoon 02/06/2024. We ordered chicken schnitzel with chips and side of garden salad. We were served with three crumbed chicken tenderloin and French fries. It was a kind of a kids meal, does the cafe chef/owner know what chicken schnitzel is? Not going back ☹️.

My go-to lunch spot when I’m in circular quay. The best service and good tasty food. Sometimes it’s crowded, sometimes it’s not.

Decent prices for that area and good quantity. If I’m the MCA museum with unmatched views. If the cruise ship is not there, you can harbour bridge and Opera House.
Great service, delicious food, lots of choices too! Couldn’t decide what to go for - tuna kimchi bowl, chill eggs or prawn pasta. Went with the pasta in the end and it didn’t disappoint. Coffee was lovely too. Highly recommended!
Theyre more focused on trying to bust shoplifters than actually restocking their products and removing stale/ expired ones. They have an undercover cop that patrols the store occasionally and confronts people he thinks are stealing. Confronted my mate who was innocent and from reading these reviews, its not the first rodeo! How hard is it to restock old produce- its not like anyones gonna wanna shoplift expired food lol. I only ever go here for drinks when im on the go.

Cafe 101 serves up breakfast, brunch and lunch to perfection! Their food is amazing and flavourful made with care and love. With great ambiance and friendly service, it's a must-visit spot for brunch lovers. Eli who is the owner of the cafe disinfects the coaches 3 times a day cause he cares. So before someone criticise’s him think how you would feel if someone came to your place and changed a dirty nappy or jumped on your bed with dirty shoes. So sad to see how people are so quick to criticism someone but not compliment. I was here few times and one little girl spilt some water on the floor next to play-area her mother has come after her hit the water bottle off her and walked away not even caring enough that someone would slip and fall. My daughter went and got the paper towels from the cafe and we cleaned the floor. Cause we care😀 I definitely recommend the Cafe 101. Coke and enjoy the beautiful food with amazing staff and hygiene place.

Good cafe overlooking the opera house and harbour bridge in a cafe with coveted and uncovered areas to sit in. Opportunity to get some great photos as set up high without the cost of paying for fine dining.
We had the ploughman platter and cauliflower salad. Self service order at counter.
Good location as you can combine this with looking around the art gallery and other iconic attractions.
Love your local guide -M❤️

Came here on a rainy Saturday noon and the place was busy. We wanted to get a good view of the harbor bridge and opera house but outdoor seatings were full.

The server didn’t take long to get us a table inside and we were seated near the corner of the cafe which could get us the opera house view too. Overall not a bad experience.

They have a pretty standard list of food and beverages on their menu. You could either place the order online by scanning their QR code or pay at the counter. I faced some technical issue of the system when I was about to check out using Apple Pay though. It took me some time to fill up my card details and check out to place my order. Not a very clever system to me.

Eventually I ordered an açaí bowl and my friend had Ploughman’s Platter and iced mocha. The server served our food and drinks pretty quick despite the busy hour.

I enjoyed my friend’s company with the opera house view here even though the weather was gloomy.
Such lovely place!
Staff is very friendly, food is delicious and coffee is the best!
Now ranking as my most favorited brunch place.
Already thinking my next time visit. :)
Went looking for something just before close (didn’t realise it was closing) got barked at by staff to get out.

I don’t understand why the staff do not come around and offer to assist you, particularly when close on close of trade. I wanted 1 item and couldn’t find it, and instead of helping they kicked us out and treated us like dirt!

Way to go Woolies on your lack of customer care and service!

I won’t be back to this store!

Really don’t want to let you in on this secret…great food and incredible views….especially with no cruise ship docked. I don’t think you can book but wait time for Friday lunch no issue. Outdoors full but scored a table near the window looking out to the bridge n opera house. Sensational!

And the prices are really reasonable! Thoroughly recommend this cafe and the MCA museum. Roasted cauliflower in cumin n sumac cous cous salad really fantastic.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming, definitely had a great vibe.
Some of the staff could be more polite and helpful.
I got refused to buy a gift card by a lady just because the last customer got declined on his credit card, even though I had nothing to do with it.
I had to speak with the manager and ask for her help, but it means lots of time for nothing.
She was helpful and solved the issue, and she also did not understand why the other attendant refused to sell the item.
The “mall” which this Woolis is located is not great. Seems a bit dirty.
Definitely I do not recommend this Woolis.

Super confused why this cafe gets good reviews?
Food is ordinary, position in right in traffic the place is really run down & dirty & the ability to communicate in English dietary allergies was extremely difficult. Just not much chop.
Woolworths Metro Chatswood Interchange
Review on 18/4/2024

It is surprising quiet at around 11 am. In fact, the interchange is not that crowded.

This store is just like another Woolworths, bright, wide aisles and clean, nothing extraordinary.

Near the exit are banks of auto-checkout machines, and after exiting, there is a barista made coffee counter. I can't any staff but 2 customers waiting.

I've been shopping here for 30 years and it used to be one of the best woolies around, people would come out of their way to shop here, but unfortunately it is has become one of the worst. Almost the one to avoid. And what happened to all the specials and discounts in store ? Why have they been taken away? Also the Fruit and Vegetables are too often not good. And the staff may be nice but they dont have a clue about the store snd how it runs. I've had many problems at this store and it's always a big problem to work things out. That's terrible management!

No trolleys... however if you want to shop here, bring one up from the basement carpark.
Staff aren't very helpful.
There's a huge lack of stock.
Worst. Woolies. Ever.
Small format metro store, good for topup shop but less range than proper size woolies

My experience at Cade 101 in Alexandria was disheartening and put a damper on our public holiday outing. We arrived at the restaurant very hungry and eager to order food. Our group of five, except one person with specific dietary restrictions who brought a sandwich, planned to dine there. However, an old man with glasses, presumably the owner or manager, confronted us harshly. He scolded us for bringing outside food, stressing that he had invested heavily for the public holiday and expected all patrons to order from the restaurant. The situation escalated as he kept wiping our table with a dirty cloth, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. His demeanor and actions were not only unprofessional but also lacked the basic hospitality one would expect in the service industry. To make matters worse, his behavior upset a child in our group, causing them to cry. It's disheartening when a dining experience turns negative due to poor management and lack of empathy for customers' needs, especially when dietary restrictions are involved. The restaurant's handling of our situation was appalling and ruined what could have been a pleasant holiday meal.

MCA cafe offers a great combo of good food, fast service, and beautiful views of Sydney Harbour. Ordering via QR code is convenient, avoiding long lines. The staff are quick and friendly, letting you enjoy your meal and the nearby museum without delay. It's definitely a spot worth revisiting.
Good facilities as well respectfully peoples and customers they come as well who attend the prices not bad as well groceries and everything is cool there.

Saying something positive about this place is the easiest part because there's nothing positive.

Took my 1.5 year old twins there for breakfast on Sunday and the staff behind the till including the owner was more interested in cleaning dishes, counting money in the till and packing dishes away than serving the customers. Next when I did order, the toasts were burned and I couldn't give it to the kids. I asked the waitress when she brought the food, if she could get me two plates for the kids. She said yes and disappeared into the kitchen . Meanwhile I had two hungry kids screaming their heads off. I had to wave to get her attention ten minutes later.

These guys seriously don't know how to run a Cafe. If I could, I'd give them 0 stars
Excellent food, great service, the only issue with this place = it's incredibly noisy! Structure of the building.
Still highly recommended

Cafe 101 serves up brunch perfection! Their egg omelette was fluffy and flavorful, while the Aussie Big Breakfast was a delightful surprise packed with deliciousness. With great ambiance and friendly service, it's a must-visit spot for brunch lovers.
The aussie girl at the cafe on 1-3-2024 @ 11:50 am. was highly RUDE.
Inordered a cappuccino and a hot chocolate
. Before the girl even i started i said do you mind if i change the cappuccin to a mocha please. She came back and said here is your mocha and cappuccino . I said sorry thats not correct i wanted a hot chocolate and and a mocha do you mind changing the cappuccino to a hot chocolate please. She just stared at me rolled her eyea and then other other lady from behind the counter made the hot chocolate. So so rude

Amazing views from the MCA Cafe, although there was a cruise ship docked.
The staff were friendly and attentive and we were seated almost immediately. Seating is available indoors and outdoors is at a prime.
Great range of food and drinks on offer with vegan and gluten-free options. We ordered the beer battered fish and chips, burger and dips platter. I also had home lemonade which tasted like a mint julip.
Will definitely be back when we visit Sydney again.

Friendly fast service. Good portion sizes at an affordable price! Definitely hard to find a better family run business in Taree than the red shop
Have been a long-standing customer at this store in eastlakes. Cleanliness and staff service has been getting progressively worse. Again today no shopping rollelleys whatsoever, this is the normal now. staff were dismissive and gave wrong info so I would just go away. went back later still no trolleys, also lack of stock in store. when is this store due to close for crown, customers deserve better.

Quietly located within the Sydney Botanic Gardens. Informal dining with surprisingly enjoyable offerings. Numerous bin chickens contribute to the condition (or atmosphere) of the venue. Cardboard containers are used for food. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Perhaps understaffed though, little attention is provided to the outdoor dining space.
Why is it so difficult for the staff to create a welcoming environment? There was no communication, no smiles, not even eye contact. Perhaps they could benefit from additional training to understand that fostering a positive and friendly atmosphere for customers can make their stay enjoyable. Just handing me a buzzer, I had to go back and forth multiple times to collect all the food and drinks I had ordered for myself and my kids. With that type of attitude, it just ruined my Sunday morning.

We enjoyed the delicious fish and chips and pita bread with variety of dips. Plenty for two! Cozy place to watch a cruise ship from our table by the window. Lovely brunch.
Normally I try to avoid Wollies Metros... as their prices are way too much more expensive than normal Wollies and any other brands, but this one has a great fridge dedicated to discounted stuff, so I visit it every day! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾(apart from it being super conveniently close to home)

Defs in my top sydney cafes list. Interior is beautiful, double storey but so airy and spacious, I’m obsessed. Service was friendly, drinks came quick. Good chai latte, good flavours and sweetness level. Star of the show was the chilli scrambled eggs which was AMAZING omg the flavour, I think it had a touch of Japanese flavours and spices. Brekky burger you can’t go wrong with, beautiful sunny side up egg. I must go back!!!!
I wish they had a chilled cake section like Coles. Would be nice if they had larger packing area at the self- check out when you have a large grocery shop and dont want to wait to be served. Would be ever better if they had a way for you to shop and not have to check out like the Amazon grocery stores in USA. Also no rotation of staff - always the same faces which isnt a huge complaint. Would like to see them hire more often.
Pretty dead inside. Just go to the newer one across the street way better and not dead. It also smells weird but it’s woolies so it had a decent variety of things.
I just can’t resist to give a five star reward to one of their team members - Ben, and of course his manager too. Ben has demonstrated his patience and passion on serving his customers, especially for elderly, which is above average customer service level.
Great for walks and picnics. Good views to the Opera House across the harbour

Coffee was fine. Poached eggs came with 1 slice of toast from cheap Woolworths loaf, so very basic. Staff were polite & efficient.
A trusty coffee joint where you will always get a good cup. The space is a nice open industrial set up, just around the corner from Green Square station. Thoroughly enjoyed the chilli scrambled eggs too. Just excellent!

13 April 2024, Saturday, 11:45am, Woolies Eastlakes.
Term. ID W1257003, Cashier assigned is Ranayiah or Rahyiana.
I always arrange my grocery items by category and place a bag in front of each grouped/categorised items to help make the cashier's job easy and organised as well. However, this staff Ranayiah was very slow, no smile, just lazy slow, cannot be bothered to bag the items as arranged despite me asking her and even showing her, yet she continues to ask which items should go to which bag while moving unbelievably lazy slow. Time waster. People like her should not be assigned to customer-facing sections. She gives Woolies a bad name for customer service. Poor customer experience with Woolies Eastlakes today because of Ranayiah.
Beautiful cafe at such a peaceful location where you can sit by the beach or garden and enjoy your meal.

I ordered a crunchy chicken pea, cauliflower salad which was yummy and wholesome. Service was quick.

Friendly staff, great burgers and scallops. Next time in town will be in again.
I rescind my previous review, Good food, great burgers. Love these guys. Still a little bit tough to get in contact with them some days, but I'm sure they get quite busy.
possibly the best store of all time, needs to upstock their Kentucky Fried Chicken, but will definitely come again
Your cooked wedges in the hot food section are uncooked. Try cooking them before selling them.

By the way dont bother coming here at 7.45pm on a saturday. Says online theyre open till 8pm. That is false. Closed long before that.

I visited on a relatively quiet Saturday and found myself underwhelmed from the start. After placing my order for both coffee and food, I was handed a table buzzer. However, when the buzzer eventually sounded, it was only my coffee that awaited me, served in a takeaway cup. Inquiring about the missing meal, I was met with a dismissive response from the barista, who promptly slammed the buzzer onto the counter, instructing me to return to my table and wait for my food.

Observing the café staff, they appeared to be primarily capable of serving coffee and little else. Regrettably, the coffee I received was marred by the unpleasant taste of burnt milk. Despite understanding that the steep price of $34.50 was likely attributed to the prime location, my dining experience took a rapid downturn. My attempt to secure an outdoor table was thwarted by an audacious ibis bird that hopped onto my table, helping itself to my meal. Consequently, I relocated indoors, only to find tables in a state of disarray, adorned with remnants of rubbish and food.

Meanwhile, two café staff members, now idle, seemed absorbed in their phones, while individuals resembling managers emerged from the kitchen, indulging in fries and casual conversation with their unenthusiastic colleagues. The brazen ibis bird, which had earlier pilfered from my lunch plate, somehow infiltrated the interior without challenge. A manager stood idly by as the bird made itself at home, resulting in a surreal and unsavory spectacle. The restroom facilities were also found wanting, with a lack of toilet paper and hand towels, mirroring the café's overall neglect.

While I appreciate that dining in the Botanical Gardens may invite the occasional visit from wildlife, other gardens in Sydney boast superior measures to prevent animal intrusion. My overall experience left me thoroughly disappointed.
We love visiting this cafe! great coffee and brunch options. My go-to is the french toast, it’s quite a unique dish, not overwhelmingly sweet and the fruit makes it refreshing. I also enjoy their burgers.

My whole family loves the red shop. Amazing burgers, loaded fries, milkshakes....well everything! Never left hungry. Plus the people that run it are lovely. The lunch time deliveries are a bonus. I only wish they did deliveries with their new pizzas Saturday nights and that they were open more nights other than that I hope they stick around as it's the best takeaway in town now

Sept 2023: Changing me review to a 3/5 as I was not impressed with the service tonight. Tues is their $14 Pasta night however found out tonight after ordering that Boscaiola costs extra which is not mentioned on their sign outside (only extra for seafood is mentioned). Also our two pasta dishes took 35 mins to come out. As a result of the long wait, we were quite hungry by the time our food was served.

Aug 2023: 5/5 Found this cafe through Alexandria's Facebook Group. We came by tonight to try out their Tuesday Pasta night promo. Was a pleasant dinner where we ordered two different pastas - Fettucine Boscaiola and Spagetti Marinara. I was happy with the serving sizes and amount of meat/seafood ingredients. Would recommend this place as it's a neighbourhood gem.

Super cosy outdoor seating with those has heaters on.

Sheesha was spot on and we enjoy our time there.

A pot of Hot ginger tea was soothing in this cold weather.

Fantastic Arabic music playlist made our evening.

Thank you
The food and coffee at this place are amazing, and I absolutely adore their decor. It is the perfect spot for coffee enthusiasts and those looking to enjoy a delightful brunch.

Second visit: The coffee was impressive, and the Caesar salad was on point as well.
Really lovely converted warehouse with great coffee and a seasonal menu ☕🥕

Bright, well-lit spot, even on a rainy day in winter. Outdoor seating in nice weather. Lots of nice seating indoors, too. Coffee roasting out the back.

🥣 I had the farmer's lunch, which was a spectacular blend of roasted and fresh veggies with a yummy sauce.

Good cafe inside Homemaker Centre with plenty of seating.
Parent note there is seating near a free play area so you can drink your coffee and have food whilst the kids play.
Coffee ok and food coming out looked good.
Stop here whilst enjoying the shopping and think over your shopping wish lists.
Toilets in centre and plenty of car parking.
Love your local guide- M❤️
Good for everything except meat. NEVER buy chicken, beef, turkey or pork here. 5/10 it’s off. I’ve had to come back at get refunds for a packet of mince or chicken breasts etc about 7 times. Not worth it
I think this is my favorite cafe I’ve ever been to. They have an amazing menu, that I wasn’t sure what to try first. The staff is very patient and kind. The decor is stunning with plants everywhere, mismatch chairs and tables, and just all around great aesthetic. I have been here twice already. Got: Vietnamese drip coffee, iced coffee with ice cream, almond croissant, summer haze drink, spring roll meal, and I think it was pork noodle soup. Everything was so delicious and I recommend all of it.

Great coffee, great service, and generous portions: especially the salmon!. Super fresh and the staff are very friendly too!
Food: really basic, as you can see in my photos, especially for the price!
Kinda stuff you can do at home. Nothing really stand out, standard flavours, no real though has done into the menu or plating.
Coffee was decent though.

Venue: pretty decent, nice and big. In an odd location, kinda industrial. Parking is hard to find.

Wouldn’t go out of my way for this place.

We arrived 20 minutes before closing, they were very friendly and welcoming. Ordered a works beef/chicken Burger with 1 x small wedges and a tub of gravy.

Everything was amazing, from being asked how I'd like my egg to sauce preference, we did not wait long either for all the food to be finished and ready. The wedges were nice and cripsy, the gravy was amazing, and so were the burgers.

The layout of the place is a bit of nostalgia with no sensory overload, really simple elegant layout.

The price here is so cheap for the food, can't wait to go back again.

P.S the slushies are great, ask my wife, she wouldn't share.

I mainly selected this cafe for lunch as they have all day breakfast. But after seeing the extensive menu there are plenty of reasons to eat here again! Nice and casual dining setting with tables inside and a few outdoors. Food service was very prompt and everything tasted great! We didn't feel pressured to leave straight after eating and enjoyed chatting for a few hours. There's plenty of street parking. I noticed plenty of people coming in for takeaway lunch and coffee which shows the cafe is popular with locals. Also very reasonably priced!

Mould on food, and staff that could not care less.
We ordered several items and amongst them was a CLT, Chicken Lettuce and Tomato.
The menu was not clear that it also came with a generous helping of carefully curated grade A mould growing on the chicken and tomato.
When we first called the restaurant, we were told that all the CLT's were made fresh - something that is terrifying in this case because it must mean this mould is a particularly aggressive grower and spreader.
My recommendation - don't order from here, but if you must - make sure it's deep fried. Try the chips!

A nice outdoor setting in the botanical gardens. Perfect pit stop for a drink or a quick nibble or sandwich.

We had the poke bowl with chicken, cheese & tomato toastie and juice and price was more than $50. Price is exorbitant however area is nice. Limited selection on the menu. Would’ve been great if they had proper meals as the setting is perfect for it.

It was quite packed when we visited at about 11:30am or so. Wasn’t too organised, it could’ve been managed better.

Have been a loyal patron for over 3 years as I live in the neighbourhood. Today I tried to take advantage of their 'Buy 9 coffee, get 1 free' offer, as I have with no issues in the past. I'm a forgetful person so at times I grab new loyalty cards, I brought 3 cards in today to make up the 9 stamps. The lady that served me gave me looks of disdain exclaiming and questioning why I have so many cards, goes on to insinuate I am cheating the system.

That's a slap on the face after 3 years of patronage. Will happily go elsewhere from now on, literally 4 others quality cafes around.
Woolworths metro North Sydney is located at the Miller Street, walking distance from Greenwood Plaza, North Sydney train station 🚉 and Australia post. Also, it is very close from the centre of North Sydney.
I used to do my groceries from Woolworths CrowsNest but I figured out this metro has significant difference in quality and customer service! Not only that, I have got shocked when I found out some items here are cheaper than Crows Nest.
Staffs are way professional and friendly comparing to Crows Nest shop.
I would highly recommend Woolworths Metro North Sydney 👍
Extremely helpful, attentive and friendly employees.

Lets face it at the end of the day a grocery store is going to have basically the same stuff. This store stands above the rest because it is clean, well stocked, and Riz the team leader is UNBEATABLE when it comes to customer service. He runs a tight ship. All the employees follow this lead.

I know I can ask any question(to any of the employees) and be greeted with respect and an honest willingness to help. THAT is why this store is the only grocery store I will go to in North Sydney.
Woolworths is located upstairs opposite Chatswood train station gates. It's easy to grab things before/after work if you're catching a train. It is a clean store but is a bit small -almost like a cross between a Woolies Metro and a regular Woolworths. The staff are constantly replenishing stock and are helpful when you have questions
A smaller supermarket tailored to the quick life of commuters, strategically located opposite the southern portal of the future metro station Victoria's Cross.

Has good specials however, I wouldn't do my regular shopping here. It's relatively expensive and doesn't have everything. I'll just buy my snacks on my way home.

They're friendly staff.
