An unusual five star experience: I was returning home from the supermarket on my bike, with paper bags filled with groceries on my handlebars (hey, that's just what I do ...) when one bag broke. Groceries all over the road. A man from this restaurant saw, then came out with a plastic bag for me, to help get all my stuff home. What a nice guy! Thankyou.
We have recently moved to the area, 1st time we tried pork dumplings, and 2 different noodles everything was delicious and so fresh. Highly recommend give this place a go, we did and definitely go back again.

I recently had dinner at Sakura Sushi and Noodles in Hobart and wanted to leave a rave review. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices are great for an aussie's pocket!
However, the real star of our meal was our server, a boy Mr. Little Wang. As a new employee, his customer service and attention to detail was very impressive. He was enthusiastic about the menu and gave spot-on recommendations. Mr. Wang who works there part-time made sure our orders came out quickly, checked on us frequently, and was really good with cleaning the tables and maintaining the hygiene.
With excellent food and warm, welcoming service like this, Sakura has earned itself two loyal customers!

Friend took us there , it was an unexpected surprise, it was very Thai. The green curry bibimbap is top-notch, the soft-shell crab is crispy and smothered in one bite and the stir-fried pork belly vegetable also great with rice , but the deep fried barramundi and egg fried rice are a bit average. The environment is good, the seats are quite spacious, and the service is always there when you ask for it. Because they are too busy , when we paid the bill, waited for a while .The most important thing in the end is that the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

Such a great dinner, and one of the best Hot & Sour soups I’ve had recently. Everything was delicious.
It is one of my favorite restaurants as they provide quick service with great quality food. I must buy something every time I walk pass. Highly recommend to have a try.

We had dinner here last night and it was a great experience. The food was great and the service was great. The owner was a very humorous person who brought us a lot of joy.

The food was mediocre. Quite disappointed to be honest. We had the butter pepper prawns. When I asked the waitress if the prawns was coated in flour, she said it was coated only slightly. When it came, it was heavily coated. The prawns were tiny. The Peking duck was very gamey. I noticed that every table around us was given complementary prawn crackers and I wasn’t. I asked the waiter and was told that they are very busy so he will check if he can bring us some. Very disappointed with the service as well. Will not be making another trip.
Ordering online via their website was nice and easy. We got the Mongolian Beef, Fried Rice and Stir Fry Vegetables with Cashew. Food was quick to be prepared, piping hot and well packaged. I was really impressed; meal was no where near as salty as other Asian takeaways in the area, very clean and not oily. Fried rice was fresh, and generously made with ingredients. We will definitely be back!
Ordered from Uber eats. Delivery was on time but food was below average. Rice was really gluggy, lemon chicken sauce was runny like water, entree bbq pork was only 4 small slices. Rest of it was ok but all in all below average Chinese.

We have visited this place twice. 1st time, our order was delicious no complaint, especially the kungfu Chicken for such good price.
We came back the next day to order a quick snack before heading off to Charlie Puth concert but unfortunately the chicken we ordered was severely undercooked and raw (as per picture). It was not until we were on the tram to destination, we found out and couldnt return to report this to the store.

If you want cheap, cheerful Chinese food this not the place. It’s a fine dining experience specialising in Cantonese food. The steamed duck with Chinese vegetables & beef in black bean sauce were perfect and worth the expense. Full attentiveness by the serving staff was a feature. It was a little noisy because the gentleman at the next table had forgotten how to behave and use his inside voice.
The taste of the Ice Kacang was not bad. Cheers! (2023-10)

Been to foodao for a few time already in the past, i love their 8 treasure porridge, absolutely delicious and this time i tried their braised pork rice, the rice was cooked pretty nice, pork is abit sweet but not overwhelm

Ordered sweet and sour pork and char kwey teow. Both are very yummy, but the sauce for the sweet and sour was very runny, i prefer a thicker sauce, kwey teu had the char but slightly oily for my liking. Ice cendol was also good, order with less sugar as it is extremely sweet

SOR eats, local dim sum treats in Willetton. We often have plenty of the usual suspects and try a few new dishes in the mix.

Has some unique things on the menu like inner mongolian cuisine, digital menu is easy to order from, service time is very quick.

The food at Bamboo House was impressive except for the wontons spending too long the deep fryer! Service could have been a lot sharper and more favourable if not so detached. Also, a restaurant of this calibre should be pouring the wine at the table. The beer was poured however not the wine, it could be anything!
Visiting the area for the day and it was worth the hour long drive. The creamy garlic tofu rice was AMAZING. The tofu was cooked to perfection (crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside), and all other dishes did not disappoint (crispy cauliflower, curry vegetables & tofu, and mushroom with veggies).
Reasonable prices, busy atmosphere due to how delicious the food was, and friendly, helpful staff.
We’ll be sure to remember this restaurant next time we’re in town.

Took a number which wait time approx 20mins on a busy Sat late noon.
Many dishes to choose from and every dish we selected were amazingly delicious. Fresh ingredients used. I especially liked the porridge which is not waterly like some other dim sum rest. Friendly and fast service we received. Too many dishes that fogotten to take a good photo of. Great eat!

This is my adult child's favourite place to get laksa in Hobart, so I had to try when I came to visit them. The chicken laksa isn't as great as my usual place but it was very nice and I enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and happy to package up my leftovers to take with me. The prices were great too!

Got the prawn and salmon sushi for $3.50 each, price is very reasonable but the rice and seaweed could be more fresh and less soggy. The meats were not bad though
Went to Yum Cha House after our friend birthday, the food were actually very nice, clean and fresh.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even tho we had to waited about 10-15 minutes for the table but it was worth it.

Was honestly really surprised to see some negative reviews here. This is by far my favourite Chinese restaurant in the area. I like 15 minutes away but am happy to drive because I couldn’t see myself going anywhere else. Usually get the beef and black bean noodle as well as some dumplings. Genuinely never disappointed. Would highly recommend!
Tasty. Not like some people said in the comments that any dim sum house in Northbridge is better than it. The food is good. We went there around 1330hrs, still have half of the house customers. Obviously, the choices of cusines are not like other dim sum house, hope the boss can make more dishes.
Im so excited to take my food home after being a pain in the bum to the poor guy and he seemed to be so lovely but as good as the food was I couldn’t eat it as he made it so spiced it burnt my mouth tongue he’ll even my ears were sweating lol

Wow! I can't believe that i have driven past this place for the last 10yrs and never tried the food! As a kiwi born and raised we are all about good food and this place ticks all the boxes! Staff are great and service is amazing! Special fried rice and 3 other dishes were so good. Highly recommend!!!

Used to be good, but recently they have been giving pieces with not much meat on them, such as the roast duck has no meat just bone or the end of the duck. Way too much rice and not enough meat and veggies, sadly cannot recommend this place for that reason and that the price has gone up and quality/quantity has gone down.

One of the best chinese restaurant in Melb! The food and service is good! The amazing Peking duck is something must try! Staff is friendly and considerate, helped me with my baby with pram! Highly recommend!

Bad services as always... after a few return visits, the food seems to be tasteless too. I gonna say the taste of the food also comes with the service and that open your appetite, they somehow managed to slowly roast your good mood little by little until you don't bother when think about them.

All the stir fries were oily, my char kway teow were salty. Food was average, all up costed $75 for 4 meals and 2 drinks. Not worth.
The food was incredibly yummy. I really love the kway teow and wonton soup! The service was also great, even though I thought they were understaff at the time I came. It was very busy, yet the food was still served with best quality. Highly recommended 😃
Highly recommend this takeway restaurant, especially if you love cantonese food, soy sauce chicken, honey BBQ pork, roasted pork, roasted duck, etc. See the size of the rice box, see the vegetable, you cannot get from others easily. And not to mention the customer service. I give six stars out of five. I barely write review here but 3/5 is not fair for such great taste.

Haven’t been here since they renovated. Had very good and fond memories of this place especially their horfun which used to be very good and their Hainanese chicken Laksa.
Ordered their horfun and their Hainanese chicken Laksa. The Laksa taste was still like what it used to be but the Hainanese chicken is more like poached chicken strips. Their horfun had no wokhei taste whatsoever. All I could assume or guess is that the chef must have changed.

Chicken and duck chopped up too big a piece, 4 pieces together made up half of chicken, ridiculous! Too lazy! The taste of roasted pork, chicken duck is no good, bbq pork is not fresh, most likely from day before. Will never go back.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. It was our first time and we enjoyed all the food we ordered. The cost was very reasonable and the service was wonderful. They were very accommodating when I asked if we could sit outside as the weather was perfect (I had booked a table inside as I didn't know what the weather would be like on the day). Overall, we loved it and can't wait to return (although we do live an hour away). We'll just have to make the effort.

Recently ordered the Singapore Noodles and it wasn’t great at all. Noodles had some strange very yellow oil while there was just no taste - cooked in oil and salt. Very disappointing so won’t be going back again.

I love the sushi at Sakura. I only am in Hobart part of the year, and when I am away I dream about their vegetarian sushi. So good - and I am not a vegetarian!
AVOID THIS PLACE!!!. The worst experience ever. The three people here (2 male & a female) were very rude, disrespectful and abusive. The food I ordered wasn't exactly what I got. Worst service, The food was small and taste horrible. Fell sick after eating. I just have to trashed the food. I'll never ever go there again. I wish you post less than one star
The starters were fairly standard. The coconut prawns were a little dry, but the satay chicken was fairly good.

These 2 items were AMAZING! If you only wanna grab one item from them, definitely get one of these. They’re so tasty, generous filling, crispy outer layer and cost less than $10 ‼️

If you’re craving something sweet, these 3 are the options for you! The Jing-cake is something fun to try. It’s our first time trying this sweet & sticky rice cake, topped with dates & kidney beans 😋 I don’t often like soy milk but this one was nice! The flavor was a bit subtle, perfect to drink after you finished a big meal 😉 The sour plum was andrew’s favorite out of the two, as since we discovered plum drinks, he’s been obsessed with it 😂

These 2 were another ones we definitely recommend if you’re feeling something easy to eat but not going to make you feel too full. The fried goodies were sooo delicious and we’re obsessed 🤩 The dumplings were some of the JUICIEST dumplings we have ever tried 🤯

These soups are the best for cold days! ❄️ The oyster noodle soup was sticky & savory, the combo texture of chewy noodle and soft oysters was nice. The sour & spicy soup is perfect to eat alternately with the fried goods to cut the fat.

If you’re craving something sweet, these 3 are the options for you! The Jing-cake is something fun to try. It’s our first time trying this sweet & sticky rice cake, topped with dates & kidney beans 😋 I don’t often like soy milk but this one was nice! The flavor was a bit subtle, perfect to drink after you finished a big meal 😉 The sour plum was andrew’s favorite out of the two, as since we discovered plum drinks, he’s been obsessed with it 😂

Main Beef and black bean - barely any meat or veg and the meat that we got was tough and chewy. Mainly sauce.
Main lemon chicken - was cooked in old oil and was a grey colour instead of the golden colour we are used to.
Main Combination Noodles was good but a small portion.
No complimentary crackers like every other Asian restaurant send.
Won’t order from here again.

Just received a delivered dinner. Lemon chicken was rubbery and looked like old oil was used. Black bean beef had very little beef. Hokkein noodles were nice. Won’t use again, when you spent $80 on three dishes you expect them to be much better.
Just found out about Cranbourne Noodle House, my favourite is the special fried rice and garlic and ginger sauce stir fry

The outer West needs a good Chinese Cantonese varietal restaurant. Phoenix and its plethora of BBQ dishes is most welcomed and I am glad to have this place around for my roast duck cravings. Did it have teething issues? Yes. Is service often curt and lacking? Yes. But the food undeniablely good (as long as you stick to the Canton dishes) albeit a bit more expensive than usual. Hoping refinements will come along the way.
Just been to this place twice just recently while on holidays and im so impressed with the value. We had veggie dumplings, Agadeshi tofu, avocado sushi, spring rolls & soup and it was all great and very affordable. The service was good, food was fast and the menu has heaps of options including vegan and veggie options. Great little Asian place.

Absolute no fuss Oriental food lovers can make way for this place. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ for my first time experience with them.
On a cold rainy day, we were driving through Gippy Hway and spotted this restaurant. Chef cum order taker behind the counter is a young friendly bloke who gave us ample time to see through the menu options and order at ease and we ordered following :
* Dumpling Soup : Pic in photo section, very delicate and balanced clear soup with veggies and dumplings, in for any day when it's cold and raining, this is a heart warmer, must try. Portion size good with pricing ratio.
* Pad Thai - Chicken : Hands down amazing preparation for this dish... Simply outstanding when they have more Chinese and some Indonesian dishes in menu and a few Thai one's, this is nailed to perfection, absolute crowd puller, love it to the core (pics in photos section)
* Sichuan Noodles - Pork : Noodles were coated with sweet and lil sour tasting sauce, which was enhancing the taste of roasted pork they use in Noodle prep, which is tasty but not really Sichuan prep as you would imagine that only schezwan sauce would be used but for me it's lacking the Sichuan hit in it, pic attached in photos section, would be great if Chef and management can work this out as opportunity for improvement, just my suggestion, as this is the reason behind four rating and not five.
My love for food says that I will return again, and would recommend the other two dishes , which were spot on... Cheers

I've had a few takeaway meals from Lucky Hut. I've enjoyed them all. They are tasty, fresh and quite generous in serving size. They're prices are good too and so is their service. Give them a try.
Nothing but rude customer service. No hello, no goodbye. The food was terrible! Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Mongolian beef was like rubber. There was hardly any beef and hardly any veggies. The Mee Goreng was salty, greasy and absolutely tasteless. I would never go back. I threw my food in the bin, that’s how bad it was. The angry old man and angry old lady have no idea about customer service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where you will be greeted and have nice food. Plenty of good Chinese places in this area.
Our new favourite. True to its name, this Bamboo restaurant serves authentic Singaporean dishes for good price. Their Food is tasty with generous serving, service is pretty fast and place is clean. We dont usually book but if you plan to come in big group, it’s better to make early reservation to avoid disappointment. Location is great with easy parking.
I have been to Larnna Thai for million times, it’s absolutely my favourite Thai Restaurant in Newcastle. Food provided in generous portion, dedicated plating, lots of healthy and balanced dishes available on the menu, great service all the time. They have the best authentic Tom yum soup (usually places have very light texture or made straight from paste) and pad Thai is also highly recommend. They made everything from scratch, even like prawn crackers and the entrees, definitely worth trying!
Very nice Cantonese style pork rib and this is the only shop that able to find it in this area. Sticky Pork rib slowed cooked. Super soft and still have roast flavor. This newly opened shop is a branch from East side of Melbourne. Very authentic Cantonese style roast and food. Currently takeaway only. Shop is small, but full of variety of menu. Convenient to bus. Lots of parking nearby. Staff are very friendly too. Will come back for their steamed chicken.
One of the best local Chinese spots! Great flavours, generous portions, and a menu brimming with classic dishes. One of the nicest Mongolian Lambs we've ever had! Definitely coming back for more when we're in the mood for a good Chinese meal. Thank you!
You will get what you pay for, which means you wouldn't regret in terms of the amount of money you pay as it's reasonable price. However, it wouldn't be impressive or fantastic. It is nice quick-easy-low price meal, no more than that. You can imagine taste perhaps, as it's just like the one you could possibly get it from the food court.
Great service and amazing food! I love that the prices the staff here charge are reasonable and that you get great servings of food for great prices! I also love how friendly and professional the staff are. I definitely recommend this place.
I have been a customer to this shop since I moved to the area over 9 years ago. The food is top quality and reasonably priced. Lunch times, the cook is running the shop mostly by himself, which is admirable. Other people who complain about the cooking times should give them a break, you try running this place by yourself. Call me biased but this place will not let you down with the food quality.
Ordered online through MenuLog and it said my food would take 1 hour and a half to come. It was late so I called and the woman was very rude and abrupt and said the food would take another hour because they were too busy. I understand restaurants get busy but if you can’t cook my food or deliver it in time you shouldn’t of accepted my order and I would’ve happily gone elsewhere.

Haven’t been to this place for ages! Still good, tasty and delicious! I’ve been told to try their Peking duck and lobster omelette and I did! The Peking duck definitely one of the best that I’ve tried in the city. The lobster omelette is a must to try. We’ve ordered more food but I was too hungry to take all the photos. They’ve got good selection of wines. Most of the customers have been coming here for years. The service was fantastic. Highly recommended to book. This place would be great for a birthday or any family lunch/dinner. Enjoy :)

We had the #2 banquet, and it was great! The entre soup was so flavoursome, and the mixed entres were tasty. For the mains, the curries were great...particularly the massaman beef
The meat was so tender it just fell apart! Dessert for that banquet was just sliced apple and grapes, but that's honestly all we needed after all the mains. We took a doggy bag home of the extras!

This restaurant has been around for long time but have managed to keep it on the down low. They are on the high end of Chinese food restaurant, the kind where they change your plate after every dish. Food are excellent especially their dry fried beef and Peking duck. The beef is very addictive and unique. Everything else is excellent but very pricey.
