Best Honey Chicken I ever had.

The worst Chinese take away I have ever had. The Mongolian Lamb was definitely not ‘lamb’ we all commented that it tasted weird and have kept some in the fridge incase we all end up in hospital - the honey chicken was some stringy who knows what? Dim sims were a ball of glug and sauce was jelly, but the spring rolls, Fried & boiled rice were ok. Would never buy from here again.

I had high hopes for the food here considering all the great reviews. I ordered the Satay beef and Pork in Peking sauce plus and Special fried rice. The satay beef was the most disappointing, the beef was over velveted to a point where it no longer tasted like beef, though the sauce was good. The pork and fried rice were passable, but not in a hurry to order either again. Delivery took over an hour on a weeknight which would have been ok if the food was good.

Been living in Menai for years and never tried this Chinese food but this is definitely the best Chinese food in Menai / Bangor/ illawong ! I was having illawong for years but recently they have unfortunately lower the standards with new owners. The food was packed and they didn’t cut back in the meat on the food which is appreciated. The only thing is they need to change into a traditional special fried rice as it’s too plan and white so not enough browness, need to add pork and chicken and egg so definitely need to improve and change the style of fried rice like the other styles used in Chinese restaurants but the other food 10/10

Probably the best chinese food in Menai - definitely the best Honey Chicken. Seriously recommend!
