Nice park. Needs more bbqs and seating. Has room for them but wasn't utilized well.
Great place for kids to play. Has toilets, some shelter, BBQ area & ample parking.
This playground is great for all ages. Toilets. BBQs flying fox. Ovals. So much for the kids to do.
Great playground with great equipment. Your kids need to try this.

Toddler friendly. Shade. Beach views. Surf club nextdoor. Lots of coffee options near by.
Representative view of the bay on a dull though peaceful afternoon in the benighted state of Victoria, mismanaged and in dreadful debt, population oblivious. The foreshore is a continuous strip from top to bottom, a feature hard to find anywhere in the world. Find a good sunny day and you can cover a great distance enjoying the ambience and forgetting about the parlous state.
According to my 4 year old son, he likes the climbing net and the slides and the swings but doesn’t like the bongo drums because they hurt his hands!
A great place for families. This new playground has something for everyone. The flying fox was great. It has BBQ facilities and toilets are in the process of being built.
Fairly new playground it has pretty much everything you need for a all
Abilities type of playground. Water play. Big slide and swings etc also has a nice bbq area it would be 5 stars but not enough shelter but probably due it not being complete
Great all round park!! with everything for the whole family, full size football oval with goals, Water bubblers, HUGE Kids playground, swings, Electric BBQs, Tables, Tennis courts, Off Lead Dog Area (Fenced), 1 Public Toilet and baby change table.
Definitely a great spot for a picnic

It's a great little playground with plenty of shade and fully fenced
Has 1 BBQ and a table also toilets
All the equipment is within a soft fall enclosure surface but is difficult or impossible for physically challenged people to access
Because of all the shade the ground can be damp so bring a blanket or chairs if picnic is the desire
Fantastic little playground. We were there with 4 little Toddlers they had an absolute blast. Was a warm afternoon, so the water play fountain was a huge highlight for the. Endless amounts of laughter was heard. We spent a good 4-5 hours here and our kids did not want to leave. Has toilets across the road and water fountains, Cafe across the road but only open certain hours.
Okay park for young-ish kids. Must be able to climb though - there’s no stairs for the equipment and the main climbing structure gets incredibly slick when damp and sandy. Smaller kids need very, very close supervision.

Good range of equipment otherwise and a shade sail. Free BBQ nearby and under cover tables.
Great area for the kids. Well maintained equipment.

Great little playground and super close to the beach, toilets, and outside showers for washing off after a day at the beach.

Plenty of bench seating and it's somewhat closed off so you can keep an eye on your kids without them freely wandering off.
Amazing playground for kids. Our boys love it. Big slides, tower to climb and huge climbing net. Location is incredible looking over the beach at Mooloolaba.
Hidden Gem
It's a great park, especially for the little ones, seating and a drinking fountain, my favourite local park
I'm so lucky to have this lovely little playground close by.
Near new play area and plenty of activities for kids. There is a public toilet in the conner of the pavilion hall
I recently visited the Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve Playground with my son and we had an amazing time. The playground is simply beautiful, with a sunny yellow color theme that adds a cheerful touch to the surroundings.

My son had a blast trying out the different play equipment, and I was impressed by the innovative and unique features of the playground. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into designing this space for children to enjoy.

I highly recommend the Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve Playground for families with young children. It's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon and make some fun memories.
Excellent new all ages playground. Beautifully located by the ocean although parking is limited.
New toilets also nearby. Needs some extra shade for parents sitting around playground areas.
Wonderful place to bring your family. With an off leash dog park & playground for the kids to enjoy
An amazing brand new playground and picnic area! Kids love it.
Nice place
Would have been better with slides and swings for kids to enjoy their time.
Sunset time is amazing there.
A lot of parking
Beautiful setup with plenty of play area and equipment for kids to enjoy. Multiple BBQs and ample parking space.
Great new play space in Carrum Downs. A few different areas for play including a general play ground with a tall slide, a sand based area with some water play, a BBQ, flying Fox and a steepish slide. Car park located nearer to the footy club but it’s an easy walk.

Enclosed playground with equipment for toddlers as well as young kids. Reasonably sized grassy area to kick a ball around, plus BBQ and toilets.
One of our favourite local family playgrounds. Great range of play equipment with beach views and a lovely coastal pathway. Close to many restaurants and cafes. Perfect spot to pack a picnic and enjoy the views with beach access and rock pools to explore. Note it’s not a swimming beach out front as it’s rough and rocky.
A large and modern playground suitable for all children ages. There's an off leash park nearby too which is great.
It's not big, but it's one of the best parks in Melbourne. It has several water-based attractions. By moving the seesaw, water sprays out from another piece of playground equipment. This trick is really cool. There is also a very unique playground equipment in the shape of a ship. The benches are covered with seats and adults can rest in the shade. Families will also appreciate that there are restaurants and restrooms parking lot nearby. Plus, the view of the ocean and skyscrapers from the park is stunning!
A very nice place to visit, be it for a walk, picnic or take the kids to play.
Clean Toilet amenities on Site, drink water fountain, rubbish bins, seats and Picnic Tables and plenty of Fresh breeze.
Such a great park with lots of shady seating and grassy sunny spots too. Excellent safe and fun kids facilities… including a giant wooden pirate ship, water play and seesaws. Lovely bay views plus toilets and a cafe serving great food (coffee and chai average… bit weak!)
Nice park, family friendly. 👪
Auskick is there.
Off leash Park nearby
A nice playground right on the coastline. Great area to spend an hour or two with the kids and there's plenty of features in the playground for most age groups. Great sunset views on the adjacent path and foreshore and an interesting walk down the pathway.
Great for littler kids (<5yrs). Shade sail overhead and BBQ alongside. Beautiful spot 👌
Great for the younger kids. Right near the beach and bbq facilities.

Great park, kids love it and very safe because it's fenced. Toilets not so flash. Definitely need an upgrade.
Small park but ideal for the younger kids
Very popular children's playground and picnic area under tall shady pine trees. Conveniently located adjacent car parking and Mooloolaba shopping area. Loo with a View near by, as well as the surf clubhouse and patrolled surf beach.
Nice play area, BBQ spots, cycling path and nice grounds to play cricket or footy. Excellent spot for kids.

I give it a 4 star simply because my son loves going to this park...Not too clean to be honest but not too dirty as well ... It's a small park where you have multiple choices with slides, swings and few other accessories included. Its a small park but well build with toilet facility included inside the park..
Great playground
And an Oval
But the highlight is the old steam roller for sure
Fenced oval surrounded by trees golf course on the left playground for the youngsters at the front ..private and very family orientated. Two scout halls nearby. Lots of off street parking. Shops for coffee cake and papers across the road.
Best of everything for a park and playground - grass, shady trees, cool playground that's nice and big, toilets, BBQs, plenty of places to sit and almost entirely fenced.
Great space. Plenty of space for kids at the playground. Gated as well.

BBQ and water taps available as well

Very nice place to hangout, awesome current for surfing, enough area for beach volleyball and open place to relax
Really great park. Unique equipment that keeps the kids (younger and older) entertained for quite some time. The exercise equipment for adults is actually pretty impressive, and there's a big off leash oval too.

This place was good with clear water
Good selection of things to do... For little ones up to about 8 years old... Plenty of tables and chairs to use for picnics... Not far until you find a bbq area... Wonderfully peaceful... Drinking fountain as well for all 😊
Good football ground parking could better

It is a nice playground with equipment for all ages. Large area that is fenced off. Also had a toilet block and a water bubbler.
Lost one star because I went there early evening (6pm) and my daughter and myself got swooped by magpies
Always enjoy this park as my rest stop while going for a walk. If I don't stop I always like to walk through this park.
This is a great playground for the kids. They won't want to go home! Mine are teenagera now, and still, they love to hang around and talk! Great views of the city and nice sea breeze on warm days. Parking is a bit dear, unless you have a Bayside parking permit, then you're set.

Great park with nice big shady trees over sitting areas. It is fully fenced with a BBQ and public toilet.
My daughter loves digging up the dinosaur fossils in the sandpit.

Newly built playground (stock photo is out of date). Playground includes shaded picnic table, drinking water tap, climbing frame with slide, spinny thing, swings, nature playscape feel, a couple rope climbing things, open grass area, logs to climb on. A bbq is available 50 meters further down the path with additional picnic tables. Only obvious downside is a lack of enclosed fencing. Climbing stucture is suited to somewhat older children - Maybe 4+, but theres a few things there to occupy toddlers also.
A great place for walking & light exercise.
Well maintained ground
