Its a great park with lots of fun things for the kids. I just wish it had a water play area and a bit more seating areas as it gets pretty busy. Other than that, its a great park for a day out with the family 😊
Fabulous inner city playground..every child's dream come true
Great park for all ages!!
Such a great park! spacious, great variety of play areas, a very nice sandpit section, swings, slides, water play, green areas to play ball games. Plenty of shaded areas.

Really enjoyed our time at this park!
Great time to visit is spring! Highly recommended for flowers lovers.

Great for little kids and big kids. My grand kids (all 5 and under) spent half an hour climbing the grassy hill and rolling down. The space enables so much imaginative play. Just loved it.
Good for older kids, not great for under 3s. Lots of steel surfaces to fall down. Also had a lot of water play so all the slides get wet.
Great place for a family picnic. Lots of tracks if you want to explore. It is a huge place. Didn’t find any wildlife but there were lots of birds. Might be difficult if you visit on a hot summer day as there is not much share and it is a bit isolated and arid. I went on a cloudy day and it was a good place to visit. This place needs more restaurants and possibly a bird park to attract more tourists.
Great playground 👍🏼 3 separate gazebos with their own BBQs, surrounding the equipment. Far enough apart that noone disturbs anyone else. Very clean and well planned. Lots of parking but the map takes you to the other side where there is only road side parking.
The kids could spend hours here easily 😊

It's a beautiful park. Our go-to place for a midday or evening stroll. Great place for kids!
Great park. You can even book one of the three sites for events through the Brisbane council website (gotta pay for exclusive use - or free but no exclusivity). I recommend getting there early regardless the place is very popular all day long, especially on weekends. Has all amenities including BBQ.

Excellent use of public land after the Olympics. Really visionary planning, which is directly opposite to what is happening in Brisbane, where there is proposed removal of parks for games venues.

Interesting history surrounding this park ... Plaques in various locations describe the history. Great views of Anzac Bridge with Sydney Harbour bridge I background, sports grounds, large grasses areas, good for a picnic. Green space/Industrial vibe.
Amazing playground with a dog park and barbecue facilities.
Don't the pictures speak for themselves, what an adventure, more parks like this please. This is the best park I've come across. It's a hidden gem.
Great playground that caters to all age groups.

Love this place. It has bicycle renting, family package is $70 per hour or approximately 2 rounds around the entire park.

There is also various activities there, especially around high school holidays. The park itself is ginormous so you might get lost.

Furthermore there is also jumping castle and so on.
Beautiful park with lots of natural build material. Kids love it. There are toilet, parking lot and a lake nearby.
Fun enough, but it's probably aimed at kids 4-7. Many things are a bit too big for toddlers and wee kiddies. There are plenty of swings, but the chains are really short, so it's better catered to the toddler age group

I love go running there. Many people drawing, taking the dog for a walk, looking the sunset. It’s beautiful 😍
Something in this playground reminds me of Mario Bros games. There're the levels to climb, the pipes to crawl through...

This was a great space for the event I attended. it was easy to get to by public transport, it has playgrounds for kids, lots of shade from the sun, lovely grass areas to put a picnic blanket down or picnic tables and chairs for use, plenty of restrooms too. the water feature was a nice touch. This is a lovely park to visit.
Really great park. Walking tracks. Play areas. Dog park. Exercise equipment. The layout of this park is really well put. Lots of tables and BBQ areas.

Parking can be tight. There is street parking available but fills up quickly
The park was fantastic. The toilets were all absolutely feral (at 10am sunday) which isnt ideal esp when toilet training.
Perfect way to spend time waiting for appointments while at the Royal Children’s Hospital! This is a diverse playground with different zones catering to all ages (including adventurous adults!). Low and high ropes courses, various swings and slides, water and sand play/pumping stations and several other climbing structures make this nature playground perfect for expending energy and engaging in active and imaginative play. Always a highlight of our trips to the Children’s.
Very nice park dogs friendly. Went for a bicycle ride with my son. Lovely ambience

Lucky enough to experience a service on Anzac Day, park is very very large.
Massive play ground, smaller play area for toddlers, a flying fox, seperate basketball area.

Lot of hidden nooks to host parties.

Really nice
It have many ducks on the lake, plenty of playing equipment for kid, I believe all of you will love this beautiful playground
Great place for kids and families. Plenty of Sheds and BBQ facilities. Farmer's market is on the one corner of this park if you need anything. Lake is on another corner, making this place more beautiful.

I recently visited the park and I have to say that it was a good experience. The park is spacious and well-maintained, making it an ideal spot for families with kids.

One thing that impressed me was the variety of activities available for children. There were plenty of play structures, swings, and slides to keep my little ones entertained for hours.

What's more, the park offers plenty of shade and picnic areas, making it an excellent spot for a family outing. We were able to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch while the kids played.

Overall, I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly outdoor experience.

The jewel in the crown for the Narrabeen area.

The construction of a walkway around the entire circumference of the lake has created something truly special to experience in part, or if you're up for it the whole around 10 kilometres.

Some parts of it are truly primordial, and the late afternoon sunsets can be magnificent.

Easy parking, kayak hire and well equipped picnic areas make the Narrabeen Lake something very special for individuals and families.
If you're looking for a fun place to take your kids, this spot is a must-visit. There are plenty of obstacle courses that both kids and parents will enjoy, but keep in mind that there isn't much shade, so be sure to come prepared with hats, sunscreen, and plenty of water. There's also a water fountain that kids love, so it's a good idea to bring extra clothes if you plan on staying a while. I personally recommend going in the late evening to avoid the heat of the day.And if you're planning a family BBQ, you're in luck! There are several BBQ facilities available for use. All in all, this is a great spot for families looking to enjoy a fun day outdoors together.
A lovely park, plenty of parking, there are many different areas for kids, friendly with pets and there is a separate area for pets. There are also some BBQ facilities close shelters. All equipments are well maintained and in good working order. It’s realy confortable for family picnic on weekend or find a outside place for childrent.
Nice and quite good place to relax and let the kids run around. Also watch boats go by. Close to the Northshore ferry terminal and to Eat Street. Chairs, but no tables. Toilets are close by. Highly recommend go and have a look.☺️
So we were looking for a bike track to go to with the family, we googled to see what would come up and this place came up.

The area in Glebe is beautiful was really easy to find, just pretty much followed google maps to get there.

The tracks are kid friendly but I think but there are some little ledges that you need to careful with when taking the kids on the bike track since most of the track is on the edge of the water.

Still safe in my opinion but just need to be careful.

If you not a fan of dogs then you may not like the place as there were hundreds of dogs on the weekend. We would pass a dog every 2 mins but they were never a problem for us was kinda cute and my kids fear dogs and were fine.

They also have heaps of little play areas for the kids, even a flying fox, slippery slide, was pretty cool.

The thing about this place that sets it apart from other tracks is the scenery, lots of photo opportunities here.

If you wanted to eat tramsheds is only 5 min drive with a few restaurants inside there and clean toilets inside. Or, there is the streets of glebe where you might find something to eat there also.

Beautiful day and night, especially during early sunrise. Along the harbour is a lovely track from the far end to the eastern part all the way to almost fish market. Morning seeing rowing training, dog walkers, runners, and some on bicycles. Dogs are mostly on leash lately although many are still off leash. Probably the safest to walk in the morning as more people are around. At night it is dead quiet. Great for romantic chat or people wanting solitude under moonlight.
Absolutely amazing spot, we could have spent all day here. Creative and interesting equipment encouraging children to use their imagination and problem solve, right down to the different paths and access points between areas. Our one year old (not yet walking) was the youngest playing, and so many parents were getting involved too which was great. The big hill was perfect for rolling down, which the 3 year old loved, and we also went on a big walk/bike ride around the park. The pump/waterfall and sandpit combo were a favourite. We were there on a cool day but I can imagine shade would be an issue on warm days. Definitely recommend.
Me and my wife have just found this beautiful park next to the children's hospital, have a walk around the area, there's plenty of playgrounds activities for children of all ages, will recommend to my relatives with children to visit here and planning to have a family BBQ sooner...
Beautiful playground for all ages for young and young at heart ❤️. Lots of seats and grass to sit in. Lovely lake 😊

Lovely park, smack bang in the middle of Olympic precinct.

Unfortunately, lack of trees and shades (aside from the sides) makes it extremely hot in summer.

Good for walks and parks has amenities. Perfect for families on a day out with a picnic.

Also, the site holds several events throughout the year, ie. Royal Easter Show, Sydney Vegan Market.
WARNING. The texture of the “no -slip” surface by the water feature is extremely sharp and will cut your child like a cheese grater if they are playing in the water in bare feet or fall over. This is a great playground but you have to be very careful and supervise your kids closely if playing in the water area. It needs to be resurfaced.

There is a children's park, picnic area and of course a big shower area or what ever you say that. Water keeps pouring every 15 mins. A great place for picnic with family and friends.
Loved this place with different types of adventure plays. Also with a small lake here and lots of BBQ points and sheds. Definitely a place to do small picnics..

Stunning park, my son loved the water, the ducks and the pay ground very much
We LOOOOOVE this place!!!! It's a large territory with amazing landscapes, views and lots of plants and trees.
Every time we visit, we find something new.
A very nice park. You can spend a whole day there. many things to explore.
Great park, has shade and seats with fully fenced play area for all ages. Does not cater for disability play are but path from parking to the play area is disability access. No disabled toilets.

Toilets were dirty and not well kept. Only 1 bin around the area.

Can swim but ensure you plan with the tide, some areas had rocks so be cautious. Not a life guarded beach so swim af own risk.

A nice, open area park for afternoon sports and walks by the water.

Not too much in the way of amenities, so bring your own coffee, drinks and food.

The one playground in the area has seen better days, but still has the ability to challenge/punish kids going too fast on the merry-go-round (photos withheld). :)

What a lovely playground! Probably one of the best in WA! Peppered with tons of small details tying the whole farm theme around.

Zip lines, slides, 6 person swing, tractors!

BBQ and right next to a lake! Niceeeee!
Great park for the whole family. BBQs, tables and shaded areas are available, but the draw card for this park is the great playground. Lots to climb on and a huge slide for the older kids, and a smaller rope bridge and play area for toddlers and up. The flying fox is also great even for adults. The layout is well thought out, with the play area far enough away from the carpark not to worry the parents, but close enough to the tables where the parents can rest. All equipment is well maintained and in good working order. There are a few carparks depending on which area you approach the park from. Parking can get full on a weekend, but street parking is only a short stroll away if the dedicated parking is full. Recommended.
