This riverside Park located in a very convenience area, it will only take less than 15 minutes to travel here from most of the popular suburbs. The park itself has beautiful scenery, many neat and tidy picnic tables with shelter and clean BBQ hotplates. Toilet and hand washing facilities are good too.
Great park with play equipment including a huge water playground for toddlers to young kids to enjoy, it's a wonderful place especially on a hot day.
Theres also a big climbing tree, slides and swings. There is a cafe selling hot foods and a public toilet. What would be great is more shaded areas.
Bring sun screen, hats and a change of clothes and a towel, and make sure you keep a close eye on young children as the water can get deep at parts and some of the features can hurt small hands.

It's a nice park and very clean, but most people walk their dogs off-leash in unauthorized areas and when it gets dark, no one picks up the poop, there are no rangers around, at all. It is also a place where birds and bats are abundant. If you are going to park your car nearby in the evening, do not park under very large trees. Birds and bats may defecate on them, so be careful.
Undoubtedly this is one of the best parks in Sydney region.It is big,it is not crowded,it has excellent land scaping, Lush green grass,cycling track,Riverside BBQ spots,Free Parking,excellent children playing areas with variety of swings,slides and climbing options.....

Huge park with many play equipment that is spread around the area. There are many shades but only few with tables. Bring your own mat for family outing which can be placed anywhere under the shades or on the open field.
It's the place to take children on a sunny day.

Great park conditions. Lively place. Maintained well. Tennis courts are in not bad condition. I got in for free*

Centrally locates in Darling Harbour - Tumbalong Park close to CBD lots of eateries, malls, the very popular ICC (International Convention Centre) the ever popular holding lots of events from overseas and locally highly commendable to visit all year round 🥰🥳😉

It's a meeting place for people and is central. Pity now it's been overdveloped on all sides with tall buildings. But its still a nice place to go to.
Loved my walk there. Comfortable walk and a path that hugs the lake area. Somewhere in the middle there is a bird watching area that is well built and a great place to pause to observe the birds and the lake area. There are quite a few benches on the park for resting and at least 3 or 4 spots to stop, take pictures and look around. Worth the visit and walk

This is still one of the best playgrounds in Sydney! Complete with water play area for kids, there is a flying fox, climbing wall up to the top of slides, big swings, tunnels and more. Grab a portable gas BBQ with you to make lunch of dinner while the kids play. You can happily be here for hours!
Parking is available in two areas. Down the bottom towards the water, and on top of the hill by the top of the park. Parking can be tricky as this park is super popular.
Silverwater Jail is next door but don't fear, the residents are well and truly contained.

Turwul Park offers a refreshing escape with its well-maintained green spaces and recreational areas. Even as parents we had fun
This is a Super Park for the family. Massive areas for yout picnic, bike riding, kicking the soccer ball etc. The play equipment is epic and kids absolutely love this super park. Car parking is difficult as it's very popular so arrive early. This is a 10 out 10 park.

It’s a good little playground unfortunately has been recently ruined by a group of Indian bully kids and their careless parents recently. A few of us parents go here to have our kids play but these Indian kids come in and start bullying other kids and making it unpleasant for everyone, most parents end up leaving when this nasty group arrives. The Indian parents of these bully kids should be ashamed of themselves for raising bullies
The park is fairy large and can get busy but there is quite a lot of grassy area here so there is qutie a bit of space, even if it was busy. There are some trees around the park particularly on the playground end. There were also benches which didn't have any cover. The other end of the park leads to the Chinese Garden of Friendship and there are more trees here as well as a fountain which you can play in.
Amazing vast park with amazing play equipment. Great for adults and kids alike. Really enjoyed the tree house climb!

One of the best parks in Sydney. Even though it is but crowded it is still fine. There are plenty of play areas for kids to spend entire day. This park is unique in its own way. Adventurous nest, rope way, water park, playground etc.

The playground has been renovated and it's fun. It's more of a 4+ years playground as the activities are a bit challenging. There is the swing for younger ones though.
What a fantastic park! During the day the water play area is on. The slides, swings, tunnels eating areas are set out really well. There is plenty of space to accommodate large groups.
Public toilets are located pretty far from the playground though.
If you plan to visit the park during the weekend or school holidays, you will need to get there early to get a parking spot as there is very limited spaces. Once the car park is full, you will need to park the car pretty far away and walk to the playground.

It's a beautiful, well equipped playground to keep children entertained. However, it would be better if the playground had sunshade as the equipments get very hot due to the sun!!
Lovely playground located in Carlton Gardens. I love that they have created a big kids and little kids area with appropriate sized equipment. A big plus is the variety of equipment available, grassed areas for picnics and surrounding trees for shade. Toilets are available but not close by, so if need be, you might have to power walk your little ones to the closest public toilet available at Melbourne Museum entrance. The only downside to this park is the way they have created the bigger kids section. With so many high walls it is not easy at all to spot your child and if they are shorter than the wall, they are very easy to lose sight of/get lost.
Busy and big playground, sometimes there are children birthday parties. More suits above 2 years kids.
Playground is not good for smaller kids and probably quite boring for older kids too. It's generally very empty even though it's inbetween big apartment complexes. Good facilities with toilets and a shade barbeque area, as well as a good grassy area for dogs and an outdoor gym. I think with a better playground a lot more people would utilise the space. An enclosed playground with fun equipment would make it so much better.

A well designed playground, with hide and seek play areas that all kids will enjoy. There is some shade also.

Very new and clean, with shade. Too extreme for 2yo toddler. There is also barbecue stand, toilets, athletic space for adult, small basketball area. No trees and feels very hot compare to other playground.
It’s a big garden with walking trails, basket ball court , climbing equipment and swings . Toilet facilities are also here . Nice for family picnic and get together . Remember to bring your own tables as there are only benches For seating . Playground is suitable for younger kids .
I have never seen a playground like this. From afar, it looks like a maze but it’s actually not. I would imagine that children will have a fun time trying to play catch and hide-and-seek in this playground! Supervision would be hard though with the walls in between.
Turruwul park is a big park with complete facilities for all age. It has playground for smaller kids and bigger kids (spider web climb and swing). On the other corner, it has gym equipment for adults. The middle part has sport field.

This is a uniquely designed park with multiple layers of walls. The walls separate the view, making it feel many times larger. The very experimental design is very interesting. However, these walls make it very difficult to keep the children supervised at all times; I felt a little uneasy as I took two small children by myself. The grass around the playground is wide and away from the roadway, though, so parents don't have to watch their children closely all the time. The playground equipment is very ingenious. The playground equipment is very ingenious, with lots of little holes for children to climb through. The children run into the holes here and there like little animals in the forest. It's very cute. There is also another slide for small children, which is a good place to play for children under two years old. There are also slides and swings. The park has toilets, trash cans, and benches.
When we first came here I was worried there wasn't enough equipment. But this blue ring entertained my son and a raft of other kids to no end. Plus the slide on a mountain with a tunnel. That's great too. What a little gem in the city. And there's BBQs!
Nice little park for 0-4 years old, has walking tracks , tennis court, outdoor gym football ground and a basketball ground, it’s nice that the restroom are available.
This children's playground, in the Carlton Gardens and located just north of the Melbourne Museum, is rather unique when it comes to playgrounds. There are two tall tower structures, a big tunnel slide, smaller slides, musical instrument, monkey bars, fireman's pole, ladders and a climbing wall, as well as a sandpit all set in a hide-and-seek type maze of walls each having different sized holes cut into them making them fun for hiding and exploring. There are paths running through the maze, with a wooden deck in the middle that hides musical bells that chime when you walk on them.
Off to the side is a circular area with soft surface for toodlers with toddler swings and a cubby house with a slide, sandpit, climbing frame and spring seesaw. Next to this older kids is an another area with a number of monkey bars and climbing frames, a flying fox and horizontal bars plus two double swings. There's lots to keep kids of all ages entertained while burning off energy.

Great local park. Basketball court is half court. Good wall to practice tennis or soccer. Good path for young bikes. Nice varied play area. Toilets are ok.
Great outdoor playground, no shelter but plenty of shade from the trees. This means some part of the playground is quite dirty. Some picnic tables around and well maintained tennis courts.
My daughter had a blast at the Docklands south park and playground, a wide variety of well maintained and entertaining equipment for youngsters
