Except for paid feeding of a snake, it was good. We expected to feed a snake and be able to touch it, but the staff called us inside the lab and passed the tweezers to feed. It took less than 5 minutes and that was it. This is not definitely worth $25 doing it. So disappointed. However their show for all the visitors was great. The zookeeper introduced 3 kinds of reptiles(a lizard, a turtle and a snake)and could touch them individually.
My wife and I visit regularly. We didn't get our bird here but we felt this store has the best knowledge and experience and consider this our go to store. If we get another bird it will be from here.

Lots of parking, free. We got inside, they checked us in, briefed and we started our tour by ourselves.
They have so many great species! All of them are rescued which creates a special meaning and appreciation for what they do.
We saw lots of exotic reptiles: snapping turtles, tortoises, crocodiles, kaimans, snakes of different kinds, touched geko and other lizards. Great and interesting exhibits.
Overall, it took us 1.5 hours walking leisurely.
Washrooms are cool as well in a jungle style, with crazy creative sinks and bamboo doors.

Me and my husband had such a great time visiting this place! We learned about the animals and were able to see the feeding of the common snapping turtle. And we held the baby caiman Kevin, such a special moment!❤️And a memory I will forever cherish❤️

Very good for the price, the animals were very active and looked very healthy, lots of keepers around, lots of feedings and presentations. I would give 5 stars but for the fault of having a LOT of trouble hearing the presentations due to lack of microphones/the presenters not speaking from the chest. Also sassy croc grabbed the pole right from the keeper very entertaining
Just found this little gem in Newmarket selling Terrariums supplies and a wide selection of reptiles too, Highly recommended and priced very reasonably
The place is welcoming, and I enjoy seeing the free-flying birds when I visit for my bird's grooming My previous experiences have been excellent; however, during my last visit, I felt that the service was rushed and the customer service was somewhat lacking.
Hands down the best reptile store. The employees are super knowledgeable and kind! Great variety of feeders (worms, bugs, frozen or live rats & mice), excellent variety of reptiles available for purchase. They have all the accessories, equipment, and terrariums you could need. If you have a scaly friend or want one you should ABSOLUTELY go here over petsmart or other competitors, you will not be disappointed.

Please DO NOT go to this store for a cat hair cut. We took our cat there for the first time to get a lion hair cut and before going we asked if they can deal with difficult cats and the answer was Oh yes! We were charged $80 dollars for a hair cut that was supposed to take 40 minutes we were called after 10 minutes to come pick up the cat with an unfinished cut ( they gave us a $20 dollars discount from the $100) but the cut is so ugly, unfinished, unprofessionally done. The legs, the back (between the legs) and almost half of the back were untouched … we went back after 3 weeks to finish the job and the lady handed me the cut and said that they can’t do anything and she mentioned that they gave me a discount. I don’t want a discount, i want a proper cut or I prefer they did not touch my cat the first day . I wish they have told me from the beginning that they can’t deal with difficult animals and that the cat may need to be medicated and let me decide if I want to give it a try or not. I will post pictures and let you judge.
I feel sorry for giving the store one star because the owner has always been very nice to us and we loved going there but I am really unsatisfied with the poor service I received and the way I have been treated when I came back. Sorry store owner!

Great store ! So many beautiful birds flying free and yet the store is very clean. Both of the people working were full of knowledge and happy to answer all of my questions. Reserving and pick up of my bird went very smoothly. The bird himself is extremely friendly and comfortable with multiple family members immediately upon arrival home.

Ice friendly place to bring kids to pick up pet food. I wish they carry more of the betta fish or other small fish.
My kids loved this place! They really enjoyed learning about the animals and watching the feeding times for some of the lizards and turtles. The show was good, got to see a snake, lizard and turtle up close and got to pet them. The lady doing the show was new so was still learning but did an excellent job! Bathrooms were really cool, made to look like a stream and waterfall, and clean. Nice little gift shop for souvenirs.

Came here to buy pet rats and was impressed with the variety they have. Very hard to find rats at Petsmart so I am glad to have a place nearby. The sales clerk was pleasant.
you would think even store would carry same products but they don't, they haven't even herd of the products their other stores carry...prices are about average to other pet stores, but some more expensive- research before going..and no pets scale which is odd. cause every food product, treat, etc...is based on weight
I’m a Special Needs teacher and I took my students here on a field trip. It was absolutely amazing and the kids loved it. Very well run, interactive and the staff is so friendly and accommodating of our last minute booking. Jesse helped us and he was the absolute best! Highly recommend.
Got both of my reptiles from here and I will continue to get all of my bugs and supplies here too. They offer boarding options for when you go on vacation and their staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly! I cant count how many times I’ve called Lost World to ask questions or express concerns about my reptiles and they have been more than happy to support and help. Their quality of bugs is the best I’ve seen locally and they treat ALL of their animals with such care and respect. You can tell everyone here truly loves and cares about their job.

I always nervous about new groomers, as my dogs have had some poor experiences in the past. Yukki and Bi were great. The dogs came back looking & smelling fantastic and they were not stressed, which is an accomplishment as two were blind towards the end. When I had to cancel as the older ones passed away, the owner replied to my message with kind words and expressed the same in person at a later date. Definitely recommend.
Be VERY very clear about what parts of the coat you don’t want trimmed. Otherwise your long hair dog will end up looking like the short hair version of the breed. Unlike a Shih Tzu, a double coat does not grow continuously. It will take up to 6 months or more for my long hair German Shepherd’s fur to shed out and grow back to its full length.

Hi my name is Dominic pulver I run Doms Reptile Rescue in Grand Valley and have just purchased a savannah monitor off them, and I have to say they were freaking awesome the service was awesome as well. I loved the layout of the store and how they were educated on my savananh monitor. My baby savannah monitor is healthy and active as heck. I love my new friend and they held it for me for about a month just for me to have it... and I can't thank you enough for doing that. You guys are freaking awesome... only thing I suggest is next time maybe have a larger container for the monitor species to be transported in. Other then that everything was awesome and I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to buy off them 210% thank you Lost World for my new savannah monitor her name is Delta and she is super cool just like you guys
Had my dog (miniature golden doodle) washed, groomed and nail trimmed here. Although the groomer did a fantastic job, I have NEVER, paid 130.00 including tax and excluding tip for my dog grooming. I will have to shop around for the next time.
I paid less than 100.00 at the Pet Value on Earl Armstrong for the same services. They don’t currently have a groomer there, and referred me to their Manotick Store and this is why I went there. The one star is based on the cost only!

I recently visited here and was blown away by their fantastic selection of pet supplies! They have everything my toy poodle could ever need, from toys to treats and everything in between. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making sure they explained everything to me and not try to just sell me stuff. If you're looking for a one-stop shop for all your pet's needs, I highly recommend here
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this Pet Shoppe! My groomer Bi and the owner Farshad are wonderful people and every single time I come in I am greeted with a smile and kindness! All 4 of my fur babies are loved and well cared for while they are there and always look adorable after their groom! I feel so lucky to have found this place !! Good prices on live food, high prices on everything else and I would put 1 but it really is a good place the reason I would put a 1 is the person working there who worked there for a while is horrible. She is very rude seems friendly but overcharged me on purpose and has a bad attitude. At first you will not think she's that bad but you'll notice make a mistake, forget to say your cricket size and then apologize and ask for it and she'll just with a bad attitude tell you that'll be extra. She is a horrible woman really is and I always get less then what I asked for. I would give this place 4.5 stars if she did not work there, that .5 because dry food is super expensive but still great place horrible customer service

Giselle and her team are so lovely! I’ve been taking my pup here for walk-in nail trims for the last year or so and we buy our Fromm kibble here. They are quick and careful. They genuinely care about your pup and are always so kind. Great local business!

WOW!!! I arrived on Tuesday night at 6:13pm and was greeted by a young lady who gave a very high degree of "perfessional"!! customer service. It was very refreshing to be treated so nice. THANK YOU. The store was clean and easy to find what I wanted.
I'm not sure why this shop got any negative reviews. I have been coming since spring this past year to get my cat's claws trimmed and the gentleman behind the counter is very polite, soft spoken and kind. I assume he is the owner. I asked to go back with my cat while she was getting her nails clipped this last time as she is a nervous cat. They said sure and the groomer was very nice and cooperative. She clipped her nails quickly and efficiently. Overall an excellent experience and very reasonably priced. Plus it is in the neighbourhood. Great to support local businesses. The negative reviews are unwarranted. Thanks so much for the fabulous service!
Excellent service - knowledgeable and accommodate needs whenever possible. I have 2 dogs and spend a lot each month in dog food, etc. The Pet Valu closer to home told me I was not entitled to a free bag after purchasing so many of a certain brand. This Pet Valu told me I was, so I trust them more.

They were able to DNA my green cheek conure Maui to be a female and groom her nails and beak every few months.

Brought in my 115 pound Mastiff mix for a nail trim. He is normally not cooperative during nail trims but the owner Giselle and her team were able to complete the task with ease. (without wrestling him or using a muzzle)
Spoke with her afterwards and she gave some great tips for his allergies. We just moved to the area and will definitely be back!

Fantastic reptile shop. My son had his heart set on an Axolotl for his birthday (that they did have in-stock), but once we got there he found a bearded dragon named stumps (missing a few toes just like me lol). I've never been a "reptile guy" but the staff was very knowledgeable and walked us through everything we needed to know. Very patient with an astonishing amount of questions from us (normally I have google to answer my questions lol). They had everything we needed in-stock ready for us to take him home. We couldn't be happier with Stumps the newest family member.
Went here for the pet wash highly recommend great way to keep the pup clean. They have towels, treats, and soap to keep you furry friend clean

Amazing service! ordered 120gal enclosure and they delivered it to my home, they also reply very fast to questions. Probably the most reasonably priced reptile accessories seller in the GTA as well, definitely recommend.
This is the best parrot store in the GTA area compared to others I have seen. The parrots are adorable, friendly, happy and healthy. The owners are such lovely people who truly care for these creatures instead of keeping locking them in small cages (which many parrot stores do, unfortunately). Please check them out!
The birds are really happy and healthy here. We went to see the birds, not intended to buy one. But all the birds were very tame and interactive. We ended up getting an Indian ringneck. And the best part was when we went through first avian vet, they said our bird is very healthy and well raised. We are so fortunate going to this store and the meeting the staff and owner.

The dog wash is awesome. They have everything you need: shampoos, towels, dryers and even a bag of treats for your pet. The associates are so helpful. They never rushed us and even brought us a bigger dryer to help get our chow-chow’s undercoat dried. The price is very reasonable for all you get. Thank you for all your help Pet Valu!
The birds are all so sweet and are well taken care of! The staff are super knowledgeable and are very helpful when recommending toys, cages, and food. All of the birds are very friendly and are free to fly around the store, which is such a unique experience.

The staff at Pucci Parlour take amazing care of their clients (with and without fur). A pets comfort and safety is a big priority for them just like it is mine for my fur babies. Our groomer Giselle took great care of Pixel and helped make her confident again. New hair new me is Pixels motto after her yearly lionshave and Pucci Parlour is the place she goes to get her MOJO back!

I had a great experience with ordering a large terrarium for my snake. It couldn't be shipped via the website due to the size, but I reached out on Instagram and Marvin replied promptly, manually helped me create an order and found a shipping method that was quick and reasonably priced! Much appreciated! :D
Ordered from the US. I knew shipping would take a bit however I am still confused why it’s shipping from China if your company is from Canada and the product is from the UK. Good selection and Carries Pangea. Shipping for 60 days in this economy seems a bit excessive

I had a difficult and fragile order that I needed shipped across country. Items well taken care of and shipped very promptly for a reasonable price. Staff had great contact with me the whole time. When something was wrong with a small part of the item that wasn't in any way their fault, they took care of that for me right away.
