Best Condominium complexs in Canada

If u want to move into a construction site with endless noise and a rude building manager then Fairway is the place for u!
Love the Apts, the location and the parking, but there is constant renovations, and they don't care about anyone who lives here.

I would recommend consider somewhere else first, the manager is rude abrasive insulting and works for his uncle who owns the building, you know what that means!

I lived here for a year and it was a bad experience. Fire alarms go off weekly and the elevators are always broken. Ethnic kitchen fires occur very often. Management are indifferently to your struggle as a resident.

I have lived at Oakburn since 2010, over 13 years now. K+G Group is an excellent landlord, well managing the property. I have always found them attentive and responsive. It has been a good experience, and I commend them for their professionalism.

Great condos with amazing views but extremely rude front desk assistant and you’re not allowed to use any of the amenities if your state is under seven days, which was not stated in the ad whatsoever

Best location in North York to live as the building is very well managed & organized plus easy accessibility to variety of outlets & attractions in additional to direct access to subway stations

The concierge Uchit is very helpful and the vallet Jordan is extremely courteous.

I was going to deliver a package that took me less the 2 minutes, I parked in front of the valet area because there was no parking available on the street. The security guy was looking at me leaving my car, and he didn’t say anything to me not mentioning that I turned my emergency lights on. When I came out I was surprised that he gave me a ticket!! When I asked him why, he told me you are not allowed to park here. I told him there was no parking on the street and I was here yesterday I parked on the street because there was a space for me. He said that’s not his problem, and I should have waited. Wait for what? no idea. And when I asked him if i can park on the valet parking next time he said that I will also get a ticket for that.
Awful building that should remove the delivery services, they’re baiting us to give us tickets…

I am so happy that I live in the Sanford Apartments. They are amazing, very clean apartments and building, and they have a very nice maintenance team. Thank you all.

Great location. Close to to the city centre but away from the crowded area.

WATCH OUT THE HIDDEN ROD at the entrance of their parking garage. It’s is not color coded which is supposed to be. Really hard to see at night. My car got damaged pretty bad. They should at least put at reflective cone around the rod. Based on the paint on the metal rod, obviously I’m not the first card that ran into it. This is a potential hazard to all passing vehicle.

Terrible noise, disregard for tenants and lack of care to building completion.

Key complaints about this location:
1) noise is very high on Avenue road with a lot of street racing and engine revvving at all hours of the night up to 3am. People seem to use Avenue road as a race track
2) amenities completion has been on hold for MONTHS! It was scheduled to finish in June and it is now October.
3) Property management - they have no solutions. They just tell their tenants to live with it (ie. the drilling noise during the day when people are working)

Overall, I would not recommend this building. In fact, I would stay clear of the development company who built this building. They have complete disregard for owners and tenants. They can't deliver on promises.

I have been living here since June and I love it here. The tenants are nice and management is on point! My door handle broke on a Saturday of a long weekend and the repairman showed up within 25-30 minutes of my call. The issue was fixed within an hour. Impressive!

This place was absolutely awesome! Great pool and kids playset, can't get any closer to the beach, well maintained and kept. Close to shops and plenty of parking on site.. I can't possibly recommend you try this place out enough!!!

Lovely time with family swimming and jumping in the big waves.

I have been here for over 7 years now and it is a very nice place to rent, in my experience any issues I have had with the sink or toilet etc has been taken care of in a timely manner, I have a 2 bedroom and it is very spacious! Other reviews that say Boardwalk only cares how the grounds look is not true, ANY issues I have had have with my apartment have been taken care of quickly!

Beautiful area with two parks within 5 minutes' walking distance, and a ~15 min walk to Yonge St. with access to plenty of convenient shops and restaurants.

The leasing group themselves are professional and prompt with their support and responses.

I started living at KG Oaks from Aug this year. Its a great neighborhood with easy access to school, shopping center, subway and restaurants. My 1 bedroom apartment is spacious and cozy with all amenities. The staff are very friendly and attend promptly to any issues. Overall, its a good experience so far,

Constant change in management. The newest girl doesn't do her job. If the office opens at 9am, she is there at 9:30. There were so many issues. Huge ant problem. The windows and patio doors are rotten, eaten by ants. They also try to get away with a lot, so make sure you know your rights. They will charge everyone who moves out for carpet cleaning ( which is the responsibility of the landlord). Many people don't fight this but they should. It's just another way the company is trying to make a quick buck. I strongly suggest finding somewhere else to live.

Went to visit a friend and it was nice to look at

Absolute scam, first off the photos of the suite were of a completely different unit that is more spacious then the one we were given. And we booked it on Expedia then the front desk said it’s an air bnb and need to contact host for extra key, it’s frustrating also no air conditioning, no shampoo and no balcony when the page said it was all included. Atlas hotel needs to re brand and the owner should be fined.

They seem to enjoy the area, and the apartments are quite beautiful!

Very nice

During our stay, the elevator broke down, with 10 of us trapped inside, including 2 very young children. We notified security via the telecom in the elevator, and they duly contacted the elevator repair personnel.

- The security personnel explained that they could not contact the fire department. However, there was likely peak hour traffic that delayed the arrival of the elevator repair personnel. Given the circumstances, we expected them to contact the fire department immediately. We repeatedly requested them to call the fire department, but they refused. Fortunately, one of us had reception in the elevator, and we called the fire department ourselves. After we were rescued by the fire department, who arrived quickly in contrast, the elevator repair personnel still had not arrived.

- The security personnel offered to check in on us every 5 minutes. However, they did not and we had to call them repeatedly to request a status update, given that the repair personnel had not arrived after sometime, and we were suffocating in the elevator, due to the small space and that there were 10 of us trapped.

- We were not provided with reassurance on the rescue operation, which led to increased anxiety experienced.

While the security personnel tried to address the situation, more could have been done, and done much better, especially given the circumstances. We followed up with the management, who duly acknowledged the severity of the issue, but they did not respond further despite multiple follow ups.

In addition, the crockery and bed sheets were rather dirty. There were visible stains and dirt inside the crockery and on the bedsheets. The dryer was also dirty, with dirt and hair scattered around the interior.

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed! We had arrived a bit early to the apartment and the security said they hadn't got the key yet so we have to wait until 15:00. We waited until 1500 and finally they told us they couldn't find our booking. Later on a man without introducing who he is suddenly came to us and asked about our name and where did we book the suite. They kept saying they didn't have our booking and had no intention to do more. Finally one of my friend heard that man was saying his name and found out they made a mistake on the name. My friend made the booking by Agoda with her name and used her husband's credit card to hold the booking as we were requested to pay to the suite directly. The suite used credit card holder as the booker so they couldn't find our booking. That man came to us and kept saying "we don't know why! We have no idea!" with a very bad attitude! We even showed our booking reference to him but he just kept saying the same sentences! I can't believe the hotel staff is so arrogant! He should be here to solve problem for his customers rather than telling customers they know nothing! We had to explain what exactly happened with the booking problem to him! Then what actually we are paying for? A room only without any service only? After clarifying everything, he just asked the security to pass the key to us without telling us anything about the room. It made me feel like begging for the suite! There is no apologies from him of course! I don't even who he is! Besides, the room cleanliness was poor. I would never choose the place to stay again!

Condo

It's an ok place to live. Very old buildings still on boiler heat, which incidentally doesn't get turned off until mid June. Mgmt is a joke and you usually have to let them know about something 4-5 times before it gets remembered. Ok place for a few years, I wouldn't stay there long term tho.

It's always been a great and safe place for me. 👍
