I ordered a year plate for my mother's gravestone one year ago and was told that it could take 6-8 weeks for it to arrive. I checked in with them 4 weeks later and was told that everything was fine and it would be a few more weeks and I would be sent a bill for it when it came in. When I visited from out of town seven months later, there was still no year plate. I went in to the office, and was told simply that it was ordered. Now, one year later, there is still no year plate and I have never been sent a bill nor have I been notified as to why it has not arrived. I am wondering if it has even been ordered yet? Why? This is very frustrating for someone who lives out of town!

Been 10 months of terrible communication and poor results to the gravestone ordered false promises have been told but not delivered.. no family should ever have to go through this. Never answers any calls, always goes to voicemail out of the last 10 months has only responded 14 times out of 30 times. Poor installation and installation not completed as planned with the proper picture and picture frame and in turn damaged the gravestone when they installed the ceramic picture 8 months after ordered. Not happy at all with the service Of Hallmark Memorial CO

Dan is a very professional, compassionate, respectful and honest individual. Old school values and principles. Over the past 22 years, Hallmark Memorial made grave stones for my uncle, my grandmother, my mother and just this year for my dad. Every stone that they made, was created exactly as would be expected from such a professional outfit. One of the biggest things with their work...is their stones don't start leaning after twenty years. Dan goes out of his way to try to accommodate, however sometimes things are beyond his control. You just need a little patience. Be patient. If the best quality stone is what you want for your loved once, Hallmark is your best choice.

This is a wonderful art sculpture entitled Love for All, Hatred for None by Sierra Tahir.
This large colourful globe is elevated off a plinth with four arms extending up displaying the text, "Love for All Hatred for None".
It is representative of the inviting nature of the City of Windsor embracing a diverse mosaic of cultures on our community.
The Peace Monument was unveiled a little more than 6 years go on October 20th, 2017.
It is located in the Bert Weeks Memorial Garden just east of Caesars Windsor and opposite Detroit's Renaissance Centre.

Canada experienced the first wave of Ukrainian imigrants looking to homestead in the 1890's. Edmonton, Alberta has one of the largest populations of ethnic Ukrainians in Canada making Edmonton City Hall a suitable location for the Holodomor Monument.
Artist Ludmilla Termetey and her parents fled from the Stalin tyranny and imigrated to Canada in the 1950s. Ludmila,a graphic designer, illustrator, portraitist and commercial artist was commissioned to create the granite and painted aluminum Holodomor Monument in 1983. It would mark the 50th anniversary of the 1933 Russian engineered Ukrainian genocide.

Dan, Ray, and the rest of the team at Hallmark made my Mother's monument. They did a wonderful job and the monument is as my Mother asked. They were always polite and patient. They listened to what we wanted and took their time to make sure everything was as it should be. My brother and I are very grateful.

J'avais quelques demandes bien précises, elles ont toutes été remplies de façon méticuleuse. Le prix facturé est très compétitif. J'avais magasiné à quelques endroits sur la rive nord de Québec et c'est chez Monuments Chabot que j'ai eu, de loin, le meilleur service. On sent qu'on a affaire à des gens sérieux. Went in for tombstone for my childrens father who was murdered... very friendly.. recommended from friends and thought they would be a great fit. I was definitely wrong. I made the order in march.. was suppose to be able to see stone once done before installation but never got the call.. had to call them to find out what was going on..fathers day was coming up and still nothing from company.. called cemetery to find out no communication since i placed order in march.. finally got ahold of someone to say the stone would be installed before fathers day but without picture ordered but would try to get picture in for fathers day.. its now july 1st.. called to find out about picture and person on phone said it was installed last week as I was standing at stone and there was no picture.. said id get a call back well they looked into it.. called all week and now it being a holiday they are closed. Family from ottawa drove down and still no picture or final product of what we ordered in MARCH.. this was a sensitive stone.. something my kids pooled together to design and very upset with the non communication.. no call back after 3 voicemails left and told would get call back the day i called. Hopefully won't need to use their service in future because i definitely wouldnt use this company again. With a topic so great to some peoples hearts you would think a company be compassionate or caring especially given circumstances.. just for 3 kids to be very upset plus myself. Never again! Wasnt a cheap price tag either. So i expected better service especially with referrals to this company. But definitely disappointed. The stone itself is beautiful and to design as asked minus picture.. only good thing.. but service and missing picture with such a big time frame is just not good service!

The Simon Bolivar monument stands on the south side of Besserer Street at the 'T' junction of Dalhousie Street and Besserer. Beyond what is written on the plaques on the statue's plinth I cannot find any other information on this monument.
