It is a deviation to give this place a 4 for atmosphere. As someone who hates live music in constrained places, the live band playing here is the reason for the 4. Live music drowns out normal conversations at the table.

Apart from that, everything about Tamarind was great.

Service was phenomenal, food was superbly presented in unique manners, taste buds were tickled with the spices and texture of the food, and the bar menu for mocktails and cocktails was delightfully named after Indian names.

What really stood out was the food presentation. From pani puri shots presented on a smoking hand cart, to palak kebabs on a boat and more, every diah came served with panache.

The taste was on a different level with finger licking lingering tastes.

The lighting at the restaurant could be better. Though the single LED lamps they place on each table provide decent lighting, it is not enough for a large table.

Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine served on style.
Good vibes. Good ambience. Halal.
Now coming to food- appetizers we ordered panipuri shots - we took normal chutney- one can replace with vodka or tequila shots too. Then we got lamb galauti kabab - I was really amazed that they did cook it quite good. It tasted really good. Chicken Tikka brusetta- really good and amritsari fish. Entrees - Punjabi lamb, shrimps malai curry and afghani chicken along with garlic naan and lachha paratha. We did have some mocktails also but I don't remember the name.
For vegetarian we had the veg galauti slider, paneer kadai and also pani puri.
Loved the food.
Omgness is all I can say , just came back from Ghana fell in love with Nigerian food and luckily I found this hole in a wall restaurant 🥰 and to my surprise Nigeria in Scarborough the Food the Service the cleanliness is dynamite ,I highly recommend this place. And the owner Tasty thank you so much for you hospitality definitely will be back 🥰

I had a platter and it was fairly good. Not much to say about this place really. Price as good for amount of food. Ingredients were good. The food came out fast which was nice to have. I only had to wait about 5 minutes.

Overall good takeout place. Very juicy chicken, extremely flavourful rice. Excellent garlic sauce

ery inconsistent with portions, however. Some days you get pitiful rations of chicken and garlic sauce. Usually they load the rice up heavy and give you scraps of chicken and sauce - especially in the saj platter, even if you ask for extra, which I always do. If I'm paying more than it's chain competitors, I want at least a comparable amount of food. There's also flies abundant, and the side salads freshness is subpar with frequently wilted lettuce when I've ordered it previously

Were it not for these problems I think this place would easily be five stars

Got food catered for a party after watching some of their TikTok videos. Ordered finger chicken shawama sandwiches, burger sliders, beef kababs, lamb shank kuzi. All were delicuous and the best part was the trays of food were presentation ready. Definitely will order again from Ishtar. NO, this is NOT a paid endorsement. Just a satisfied customer.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The fried fish is delicious and the service is fantastic. The owner is very kind and the food comes out fast. They also had fun YouTube videos (like Americas got talent) playing to entertain everyone.
One of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal. A very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I love the options in seafoods that they offer and there's live music to entertain clients while they eat. A really nice experience.

Great place for a quick bite. They had 10% student discount which is thoughtful. The prices are decent and the quality of food met expectations. I recommend this place if you are in the area. The only thing was that the washrooms were very dirty and off-putting. Overall in terms of food though, it was decent.
Crew Collective & Cafe is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a sense of grandeur, as the space beautifully combines historic architecture with a modern, chic ambiance. Whether you’re looking for a cozy corner to work in or a place to meet friends, this establishment has it all.

The coffee here is exceptional, and their menu offers a delightful array of treats for any palate. What sets Crew Collective & Cafe apart, though, is the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. The service is top-notch, making it an ideal spot for both work and relaxation.

Whether you’re a local seeking a regular haunt or a visitor exploring the city, Crew Collective & Cafe is a must-visit. It’s more than just a cafe; it’s an experience that leaves you feeling inspired and refreshed. I highly recommend giving it a try!
A beautiful location to grab a good drink of your choice and plenty of sides from bagels to sweet pastries.
The ambiance is phenomenal and there is private rooms you can reserve for 15$/H to study or have a meeting or plan stuff.
Very limited space to sit and relax so plan to arrive in a less busy time.
Parking is a little tricky and hard to find since its located in the old port of the city.
Staff is nice and welcoming props to them for the hard work!
A must see if you are new in Montréal !

I had a fixed menu as result of a gathering/event. Several items from their menu were served. Out of the 6 people in my immediate family, 3 of us fell sick that same night. All of their dishes were drenched in a ton of olive oil and over half of the food items were deep fried. The service was really great, which is why they don't deserve 1 star.
What an amazing experience! Amazing authentic Greek Cuisine (you don’t go there to eat pita souvlaki) the food was amazing and very well cooked & seasoned. The music and ambiance was amazing and actually seeing customers dance traditional Greek style and having the band singing was worth it alone. We sat next to stage and no issue with the volume. Our waiter was spot one and the best great service. My mouth is watering just writing this review :) if you a local or visiting Montreal you have to try place it’s a must! you really need to try this place. Pricing is right especially for the quality your getting, can’t wait to go again and to bring guest so they can share our experience. Btw I wish I paid attention when I got there but they have Valet Service no need to hunt for parking.
Went to Tasty Jollof Restaurant with my fiancé yesterday for a late lunch. We ordered the beef Egusi soup, Jollof rice and a side of plantain. The beef was tender and the flavours vibrant. Hands down BEST. EGUSI. SOUP. IN. TOWN. PERIOD. Will be back soon. Thank you Mr. Henry!

Coffee was great view was fantastic but seats are very limited. They have enough space but available with reservation (with payment)
Took more than 20 minuits to get 2 coffees. Even long waiting no latte art, that was okay but cappuccino was like a latte, no foam.
Just once would be fine 🙂
Ah parking is not easy
Quite pricey when compared to nearby eateries of a similar caliber. Among the other appetizers we bought, the pani puri shots were particularly delicious, and the presentation of each dish was unique. Additionally, the food delivery was quite slow.
This restaurant is magical. The owner is a human doing exactly what they are put on this earth to do and sharing their dreams so honestly with others through their meals. The plating is delightful, and then the flavor is astonishing. The atmosphere and decor is so charmingly its own, like a lovely cozy garden at your childhood friend's house. The service and the timing of the courses flowed so naturally and perfectly, the next dish arriving just after we finished the previous. It's the best dining experience I've ever had. It truly felt so special. The Niagara Falls area is so lucky to have this place! Thank you so much for the meal. 💖

I had a fantastic time at Crew Collective & Café! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the beautiful architecture and aesthetic decor. The spacious seating area made it perfect for enjoying our food. The private study rooms for 15$/h were a great addition.

I absolutely loved the Oat & Lavender Latte – it's easily a 5/5 for me. My brother enjoyed the refreshing Matcha Lemonade, also a solid 5/5! The Sugar Scone was delicious, although slightly dry, earning a 4/5. The Brownies were decent but not too exciting, a 3/5 from me.

Overall, I'd rate the experience 5/5 and highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Montreal. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The prices were reasonable too – we spent a total of 28$ (taxes included) for two drinks and two pastries. Keep in mind, there might be a wait during rush hours. We waited about 15-20 minutes, but it's definitely worth it. Can't wait to visit again soon!
Food was amazing!! Try the lamb chops or bifteki. Best I've ever had. Unfortunately the prices were high and the wine was totally overpriced. The loud live music (Greek music is not my thing) makes it impossible to have a conversation. Service was good, but could have been friendlier considering the prices.

Stunning architecture and beautiful building to check out and book study rooms, although a bit loud. The wait for the drinks is very long and the drinks are so amazing that they are worth the wait. Try to go when its not super busy if you wanna go for just the cafe!

I’m in love with shawrma again from this store.
They have ample of options from beef to chicken and with different sauces.

They also have indoor space for families and friends not having a group of more than 6 people.
Service and Atmosphere is average. It's a takeout location. This is fine.

You will see reviews are either mostly 1's or 5's. If you don't eat or cook indian food regularly, this food may seem appetizing to you, and it probably is. In this case, enjoy the food.

Writing it from a friend's account to avoid being known.

The naan is acceptable, maybe cook it consistently.

I bought 3 curry dishes, and it was the most awful food I've had. I would not recommend this food to anyone ever. The butter chicken is flavorless and the chicken is dry. Likely was precooked and then frozen given how "chewy it was". The 2 vegetarian curries I had were disgusting - ready made indian butter chicken/curry jars from Loblaws with frozen vegetables would taste better.

This is worst quality Indian food I've ever had, and if you buy the same dish twice on different days, it'll likely be not a consistent taste by large margin.

I was a fan of Karara when they opened their first location on Merivale Road in 2009. The quality keeps getting worse.

I hope you can do better. Find a punjabi cook and let him review your dishes. The food is slapped together and tasteless.
When we visited this place for dinner only 1 table was occupied and receptionist asked us if we had any reservations. Like seriously you only have 1 table full what kind of reservation is required. (Owner please train you're staff to welcome guest). Still that girl gave us small 2 seat table. I mean everything was empty you can give the bigger 4 seat table. If it's busy and all pack I definitely can understand it. 3 star are given for food taste. Price is bit high but taste blends it all. You give once try for food only. Washroom were also very dirty with no toilet papers and Staff girls at front was to talking to chef boy in kitchen and seems like enjoying as if there was no manager or owner around.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Zaad Shawarma restaurant! The food quality was truly exceptional, with each bite bursting with flavor and freshness. The shawarma was incredibly delicious and perfectly cooked. However, what truly made my visit memorable was the amazing service provided by Mohammad. His attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine care for the customers created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. He went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. I can't wait to visit Zaad Shawarma again for both the outstanding food and the exceptional service!

We've been searching for a new Indian joint ever since we lost Namaste during the pandemic. We've tried plenty of places across the city and while they've all been good, none have quite hit the same. Took us to the first bite to establish Curry Palace as our new regular place. Amazing deep roasty flavour on the butter chicken, good portions, good price, surprisingly good spring rolls.
Best Lebanese food spot in Montreal. Friendly and courteous owners, fresh veggies, delicious garlic potatoes, and juicy chicken shawarma, crispy falafels and clean restaurant . Good portion size and value for money. Try it you will come back every week, like me😁. Highly recommended.

As always wonderful service! Sandra, Shadi and Maroun are there daily serving me with their award winning smile and delicious cuisine. It is tasty and mouth watering. They know all customers by name. Many thanks for the amazing cuisine and customer service.
Well ! Have been to many indian restraunt, when it comes to fresh taste with perfect ambiance, I would recommend Tamarind Modern Indian.

You may find it a bit expensive at the start but when it comes to the quality of food being served with the service the price is worth.

Food was super delicious. We ordered dal makhani with panner and enjoyed the same

They have both dine in options as indoor aa well as patio.

Have been there thrice and would recommend to visit once least
Um yes you need to check out this place! Was really craving Nigerian food and this place really got the job done! We even ordered some to-go because my God! And you have to try their Nkwobi, it was so good! And service was good!
Very nice Libanaise food.🇱🇧super nice and simple food!
Had a friends Birthday party there . And we arrived early but only when the restaurant was about to close in 30mins . They where kind enough to accommodate us for appetizers and the food didn’t not disappoint. The service, food , staff and the ambiance was great. Highly recommended this place if you want to try delicious food.
We come from Montreal to get momos from here . Definitely worth it !
It’s not so expensive, but we always spend a lot coz it’s all soo good .

Must try Afghani chicken momos and tandoori chicken momos .
Great environment.

No place to sit. But they have a standing table to eat in the restaurant.
Best African food ever.hands down.the food was amazing.service was awesome.
Highly recommend if you are in Niagara area.
Delicious meals! For good price
The staff are super nice and friendly, and the food is top tier, I 100% recommend.

Good portion & tastes great!

I’ve ordered from here several times now, was first introduced to this place from a colleague that recommended their momos. Have tried the chicken & paneer momos, mixed veg curry, and lamb curry. No disappointment!

Haven’t had a chance to dine in… only takeout so far. I wish they opened earlier though, would definitely order more often for lunch.
It was my first time ordering here and I must say that their jollofrice is indeed very tasty. Their customer service was great!
Late birthday lunch with family on a Sunday afternoon, and we all had a great time. It wasn't too busy and service was great. Cocktails were phenomenal, our favorite was "The Bengal Tiger". Pani puri shots tasted really great among other apps we ordered and presentation for all dishes was creative. Curry/main course was below average for me, felt it was missing authentic flavor.

Baked Cassata was delicious. They brought it out covered with cotton candy, and used flame to reveal the dessert.

Came here on a pouring day and so there were lots of people. I ordered shawarma and my sister ordered the falafel, which she enjoyed. I loved the shawarma, it was full of flavor. The lady at the register asked if me and my sister were students, and so we got a discount on food, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was great and the food was delicious.

There's not much food places in the area its located so its convenient if you live or work in the area. The food was good, could be better. Service was awesome. Very friendly. Hummus was A+!!! Not easy to park and it was a little pricey but I would go back again
I ordered Biryani by Box through uber and didnt know that it was Karara's. To be frank this is the worst biriyani i ever had! I never had a biriyani with almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts and pecans!! And they even have a choice of kerala thalassery biriyani, which i ordered and felt disgusted!
To the owner, if you dont know what you are making please dnt name it randomly and spoil the name of our famous and tasty thalassery biriyani!!
Please dnt order biriyani from here if you are a south indian!
Thank you!
I only had the iced latte, but it was great! I mainly went in to look at the architecture. The ceilings are amazing. Staff is very friendly. Tables and chairs are pretty close together, but they make it cozy.
Lovely, it was Amazing. I love it and more importantly, my Caribbean friend loved it. I came in an hour before closing and had the jollof rice, Abacha and suya; the complimentary zobo drink was great. I must say I finally found home here. Also, the waitress was lovely. It’s a little far from my location but I’ll make that journey anytime any day.
My organization made the wonderful choice of using Tasty Jollof's catering service for a large meeting and let me just say it went above all our expectations. Their serving portions are generous and the quality of the food was phenomenal. We ordered jollof rice, egusi soup, chicken, plantains, and their garden salad. Everything was absolutely amazing! Additionally, Bridgette was very accommodating to all our dietary restrictions and she provided exemplary service. Everything went better than I expected and I would most definitely use their service for any future needs.

We ordered chicken falafel and poutine. Both were so good. The employees were friendly and recommended us what to try out.
Sheer disappointment for the taste. Ordered butter chicken and malai kofta. Both of curries has no flavour. Despite of asking to make it spicy , it was very sweet and no taste. We all have to dump the food after few bites.
The most horrible experience of samosas so far in ottawa. They serve it for $5 dollar 2, but i swear i will not even have it for free. The chutney was water and the samosa had uncooked layer of maida with oil floating inside the aloo (stuffing). Please dont waste ur money
Always the best place for special occasions with friends or family. Not cheap but still excellent value for money. With great food (make sure to pick the group menu) live Greek music, well dressed crowd (especially the ladies) and amazing atmosphere. Loved it every time I came, surely will not be my last visit :-)
Last weekend I celebrated my 35th birthday at Mythos. Everything was beyond my expectations! Food was terrific, even though it was a fixed price group menu. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and nobody left hungry. Christopher was serving our table and he was never far away all evening. We were a table of 15 gay guys and trust me we are not always easy to deal with! 😝 so great job Christopher.
The authentic Greek music makes the vibe very fun.
Will most definitely be back!

Got the shawarma trio and it came out to a bit under $15. May be a tad pricey for some, but I feel with the quality it was worth it. The staffs were also very kind and patient from witnessing interactions with other customers. Great place for lunch if you're in a hurry or craving Lebanese cuisine!
If you're new to Nigerian/Ghanaian cuisine, this restaurant provides an eye-opening experience worth the travel. With a mouthwatering abundance of flavours with each bite, MCUIRE consistently blows my mind. Please try their food for yourself. You will not regret it.
Very nice place, friendly staff, superb and constantly have the best quality of foods which is served hygienically. Serving and packaging is just wow. Cost effective with huge variety of menu to offer. TASTY JELLOF is the Best restaurant I have ever visited here in SCARBOROUGH I Recommend their food to everyone.

Ordered the chicken shawarma salad (half-size). The sauces were really nice (garlic, hot, hummus) and the portion was filling enough.

The star of the show is the chicken. It is cooked so well, has a nice caramelized-bark of crispy goodness. And the chicken is also tender and moist. Definitely will try to go back here in the future, and would recommend it for others.
Excellent West African food. Flavor on the Jollof Rice was amazing and the chicken was slow cooked until it fell off the bone. The Okro Stew had awesome flavor, but watch your spice level -- this one caught me by surprise and I do like spicy! Really kicks you in the head. The hibiscus drink was sweet and floral and with a delicious hit of allspice. All in all a great meal and will definitely be back. Great find in Niagara Falls!
May 20, 2023, Saturday.

Restaurant has beautiful and elegant interior. Host took care of us as per our reservation and request.

Food was delectable, right from appetizer till desserts. Presentation, quantity and flavor were well defined in every dish.

Only reason I rated 4 stars was price of drinks and desserts, highly expensive if I compare to other restaurants of same level in area. Cost of main course was justifiable.

I will visit again for sure because of taste.
This location is a converted historic bank and has a bit of a Harry Potter feel (think Gringotts). We came on a Saturday and the line was super long, so expect about 30-45 min wait. We picked up an egg/mozz sandwich and ordered 2 hazelnut lattes. The sandwich bread was quite dense so maybe ask for a knife to cut smaller. One of the lattes tasted different from the other - it could be that one of them did not get the syrup shot ordered. The staff were friendly and the interior is a very nice experience. There are open work areas but it's quite busy so it's hit or miss. There are banquette work areas that can be reserved for $15/hr or $80 daily. It's definitely an interesting experience.

Chicken saj shawarma is okay. Ingredients are fresh. I think we didn't get the crispy part of the chicken in our shwarma since the place was busy. The chicken itself didn't have a lot of taste. May try again when it's not busy given the high reviews. Service was a bit slow.
Have not tried the food but this has got to be one of the most gorgeous coffee shops in North America. It’s in a historical building with super high ceilings and comfortable spacious seating.
Can’t wait to try their coworking space sometime. They have meeting rooms, booths, and open area tables set aside for paying coworkers. 100% would love to try!!
Fyi it is a super popular place, morning and afternoon. Be prepared to assertively wait and claim a spot.

The only thing I had here was the baklava, hence the 3 star review and not 1. I'm sure the food is great and the service is pleasant.

Not sure who all these people are praising this baklava in the reviews but I drove out of my way to bring this to a friend's home.

At $3.50/piece plus tax you'd think they'd put more nuts in the thing. I pretty much are pastry, which was soft and tasty but if I go to a proper baklava place they fill it with nuts and it won't be as expensive. I was kinda upset that I wasted my time and money. Felt like I got ripped off.

Don't be stingy with the nuts.

We ordered for a largish gathering of 20. We tried the beef rolls (borek) and cheese rolls, kubbeh, and 2 mains - dollma and the eggplant kebab tapisi.

Everything was amazingly delicious and had a very home made feel to it.

The family behing the counter and kitchen are very authentic and friendly.

The food is clean and was hot when picked up.

It was good value for money and quality.

We will certainly use them again soon!
Dishes are always super flavorful and well balanced. Always fresh tasting. Many options for both vegetarian and Gluten free. Highly recommend to anybody looking for either a new place try or a new favorite spot to hit.

I ordered food online from there website only to be told the indomie pack is not complete 36/40 and the poundo yam as advertised is not available. this is unacceptable to make matters worse i have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks to get a refund so if i spent my last dollar to buy food here i will be disappointed. so my advise will be not for you to order online as it seems it does not reflect their real time inventory. then when i complained about the poor customer service i was told i was naive. can you imagine ? best to eat in i guess but it will be my last time ordering anything online from them.
We had eaten from here before and weren’t happy as the heat level of dishes we ordered as mild or zero were so hot they were inedible. Tried it again tonight and loved it. Heat was true to order and everything was super tasty.
Actually the best Greek food I've had so far. Went as a small group and enjoyed the $65 per person group menu. Everything was absolutely delicious and we were all stuffed by the last plates. Great food, great service. I recommend this spot for a great sit down dinner.
We celebrated black history month with our after school students this week and we were able to enjoy some of the delicious traditional african foods offered, some of our picky eaters even tried and enjoyed the meal. The owner was fabulous and extremely accomodating, we will definitely be ordering again for other events held at the center.

Food: 10/10 - Staff: 10/10 - Place: 9/10

Details: Their kafta kebab wrap is my favourite so far; 10+/10! Their taouk and beef shawarma wraps are very good. And their prices for the wraps are excellent considering the quality and size. Staff are very kind and service is fairly quick.
Just had some egusi soup and pounded yam. It was lovely :). I was hoping it would be spicier but it was still delicious. Highly Recommend this location. Will defiantly try other other menu items.

Went here for a birthday. I will start with the strong points. The service was good, the servers were friendly and the food was brought out rapidly. We had a fixed menu.
Most of the entrées were quite good.

The main dishes, however, were not great. The lamb chops were very chewy and rather anemic (almost no meat on the bone).
The desert balls were undercooked.

The night ended with the server essentially putting 18% tip on our bill (not that we didn't get good service) but it definitely left us with a negative feeling as we walked out.

The dinner was not terrible however at this price range there are much better options in the area. I won't be returning here.

The food at Leziz kitchen is always cooked to perfection. I love getting their chicken wrap for lunch, it’s light, healthy and tastes amazing every time. They cook your food fresh so you do have to wait around 10 mins but it’s definitely worth it. The owner/ staff are always a pleasure to speak to, highly recommend trying out this restaurant.
I was really excited when my friend brought me for lunch. The service was meh. The food was good, not amazing. The portion was great but the food was room temperature and seriously lacked flavor. It was if they cooked with no spice at all. Disappointing when Nigerian food is normally packed full of flavour and spice. When I asked for pepper sauce, they brought me Frank's Red hot sauce!! I felt offended at that point lol I would go back and give them a second shot BC I have heard good reviews - maybe the day I went was an off day?

I made a small order for 10 ppl last minute, so thankful she took my order. Nadia is the nicest woman and her food was amazing and displayed so beautiful. Everyone loved her food. It was our first time trying Iraqi cusine, so tasty. Definitely ordering again. Thank you
Excellent experience every time! The owner is so very nice and always provides excellent customer service! I have always received excellent service and I am always welcomed. My Cambodian friend and I had lunch from here and she still talks about the delicious okro soup and pounded yam!
Absolutely love this chicken, just so much flavour. The rice was perfect too. Looking forward to visiting again very soon!

The owner of this place is great, and the food is the best Indian food I've had in Ottawa by far. I rave about their food every chance I get. For some reason, there was a mix-up about them discontinuing their indo-chinese menu, and even though their Momos are our favourite, we thought we'd give it another shot for the rest of the menu. Happy to say the legendary momos are still around, and the rest of the menu is also better than most other Indian restaurants.
Great Combination of a Restaurant and African Grocery store. The food was delicious and arrived on time. The Rice and Fish stew we ordered was totally out of this world and the Chin chin - please don't leave this store without the Chrispy chin chin. Amazing Amazing food and service. Thank you.

The food at Leziz is a spiritual experience. The owner is kind and warm and her passion for cooking really shines in every meal. If you’re going through stress in life, all you need is this food haha so tasty and beautifully crafted! The baklava is to die for especially made fresh, I didn’t even know baklava could taste like this! Highly recommend!! 😊💕
Tasty jollof is definitely the best restaurant I have visited here in the GTA. The variety of fresh meals being prepared are finger-licking good, the customer service is amazing and I always get value for my money’s worth. I usually order Amala & Ewedu, Efo riro, Suya, Ewa goyin, Buka stew, Lunch/Dinner platter amongst others. And by the way, the location is very convenient.
My fiance and I have not had this food in so long and finally today we were able to get it. My fiance was waiting with patiently and he was excited he took his shirt off to eat the food it was so amazing he loved it and so did I. Foods always been fresh and good never any issues , the chef is very polite and proffessional we love chrispy's best place for real aunthentic food!
Went for a takeout using SkipTheDishes pickup. Overall very satisfied with the food, pickup was easy, and food tasted delicious! I highly recommend you add naan bread for any curry kind of dish you order. As someone who loves to try different food, I would say this is a great place to go if you want to try Indian food.

This Authentic Infian cuisine is a gem.
My husband and I got the Chicken Momos, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Zeera Rice, Garlic Naan and Gulab Jamun. All of the food that we ordered was cooked to perfection, flavorful, absolutely delicious and came in huge portions. On top of that their staff were so friendly, Arsh gave us great recommendations and was able to meet our desire level of🌶. We will surely come back again and again to try other items from the menu. If you wanna order from home you’ll find them on all the delivery apps or call them directly.

I enjoy the takeout meals when they arrived, the chicken breast shish were just delicious, I preferred them over the chicken shawarma plate.
Everything seemed very fresh and freshly made and price point for the meals was good value.

Fresh. Flavorful. Aromatic. Amazing decision to try that will definitely satisfy your Mediterranean food cravings!!! Got lamb shish kebab plate with the bulgur pilaf. Huge servings and fast service! I can't wait to try other food on the menu!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bland Tandoori chicken (lack of salt) and beef seekh kebabs (beef skewer kebabs) were hard and had too much filler that was not beef in them.
If you're looking for Tandoori/Grilled meat, don't go here. 2 Samosas for almost $4 are over priced but actually decent!

Very bad customer service, the place is not clean. They gave me half of a bread instead of the full. Their fingernails were dirty and they touched my food without gloves! I will certainly not recommend this place.

The best Arabic food I ever had in canada ❤️
The rice and the meat were very tasty and full of flavours and well done
The kebba was the best I ever had in my whole life
The burak with cheese was crunchy and the whole food came warm and in the best shape
I can say nothing except you’ll regret if you don’t try it

Update May 2022: as usual the food catering with Ishtar Resturant is awesome. I have ordered half meat and half chicken with rice (we call it Goozi or Mozat for meat). Thank you to the lady who work in this family business (I don’t recall her name).

The best food I have ever eat in Canada, it taste like mam home made cook,, we ordered catering three chicken with rice ( chicken mahshi) incredibly delicious! The price is affordable and the quantity is enough for party and family gathering, will definitely recommend to anyone.

No doubt the best shawarma place in Montreal. Not too many people make Beef Shawarma as good as this... I am not a potato fan but took one plate and was blown out by the crisp taste of their salad and potatoes. Not expensive at all. Make sure you go into the plaza and take the stairs down into the basement.... it has ample of seating for big or small groups...

So amazing and so under-rated. The care this man has for his food is unequaled and it shows. All ingredients are fresh from the market every morning and the salads are prepared according to the season. For those who eat often enough, the difference with the other shawarma chain is night and day. May God bless him for the amazing food and love he serves out every day!
