I’ve been going to this country style for years every morning before work until I moved out of the area. It wasn’t till I left that I knew what I was missing.
The staff remember your name and start making your order before you could even think about what you want. They’re very friendly and personable. They get to know the customers and treat them well.
Their food is fresh and delicious. I usually get the breakfast bagel. Fresh cracked egg, turkey, bacon, cheese and the most delicious bagel, so soft and delicious.
Their donuts are soooo fresh. The owner said they bake for multiple stores so they’re always fresh and ready to go. Soft and huge, these donuts do not disappoint. If you want them ultra fresh, go a few days before your event and make a custom order for pickup in the morning. Oh man. Heaven. Nothing like the competition.

I ordered the spicy Italian sandwich, I would’ve left a picture but I ate to quickly. Great amazing of meats, great vege selection, sauces had a wonderful variety and flavour.
The service was on point, the gentlemen who served us was pleasant and easy to talk to.

The service was great and everyone was really friendly! It’s a cute vibe and all the baked good options look super yummy. We got the kindered cookie, the cookie croissant and salted caramel lattes, which were all great! A little bit on the pricier side but would still recommend checking it out!
Ordered through Uber Eats tonight for the first time. I ordered the steak sandwich with macaroni salad, both were delicious. I added the "cold cut" option on my sandwich as well, they called me a few minutes after my order was placed to ask what kind of cold cut I wanted on it. It's the little things that go a long way, and you can really tell with this place. I don't normally write reviews but after the excellent food and great service, even just over the phone, I had to. Will definitely be back, in person next time! Thanks so much

This place is a hidden gem with absolutely lovely service. I stumbled upon it today and was blown away by how kind and polite the older couple serving me were, as well as how yummy looking and beautifully decorated all the cakes were! I ended up getting a DELICIOUS 8" chocolate raspberry cake for my partner's birthday at a very reasonable price. The owners went above and beyond for me at such short notice and even gave me a sample for a different item as I waited. Thank you so much for the incredible experience! I will definitely be back!
I’ve genuinely never felt so much hospitality at a cafe in the way that I have experienced at Browned. The store owner and baristas take the time to get to know you, remember your frequent order, and provide quality baked goods and drinks. More than once have I entered with the intention to grab a coffee and have come out with pleasant conversations that highlight my day. It is one thing for food service to be top notch, but the customer experience brings me back for more. Their morals and values are ones I uphold highly. Thank you to the Browned team for being a staple in my London Ontario coffee scene! I exponentially recommend stopping by.

Fantastic, freshly-made donuts in-store! Yes, they still do that some places (gives Tim a side-eye) and you'll notice they are not just fresh but HUGE, not all-hole and skinny as an onion-ring! (Tim gets the side-eye again).
Plus, the Chocolate Eclairs and 'Cream Delight' donuts actually have real whipped-cream inside, not instant pudding! And when they run out, they just make more, because the donuts are fresh, not frozen and shipped from some factory somewhere and just 'refreshed' in the store. (Slaps Tim).
Plus their coffee tastes like coffee, not bitter dishwater, and is always fresh-brewed. I really don't understand why ANYONE still hangs out with Tim, unless you're really into stale day-olds and atrocious "pizza" on a pita or whatever the heck that is he's selling over there.

I ordered a chicken shawarma and unfortunately I got severe food poisoning after eating here. I normally don't write reviews but I feel compelled to warn others of this possibility. Seems like I'm not the only one to get food poisoning from this establishment based on the other negative reviews. Do better.
Beautiful and delicious gluten free cake from Gateau de Henry! We ate it so quickly! Will definitely order again. They also had gluten free cake by the slice when I stopped by and some regular cakes for purchase. They need a few days notice for custom cakes. Sandwiches and Korean Bulgogi and Bibimbap also available. (Note: cake photo modified to remove name on cake)
This place is clean, adorable, has easy parking out back, warm n’ friendly staff, a fantastic sandwich bar, and enough delicious baked treats to satisfy your craving. I forgot to take a photo of the baked treats, which included chocolate filled twists, their unique take on baclava, croissants, and delicious-looking squares. We shared the pesto pesto chicken sandwich, which was filled with delicious and fresh ingredients including arugula - my favourite green!
The chocolate chip cookies we got were a perfect way to wrap up the meal, and we’ll definitely be back to try their breakfasts, or for another snack after a Grouse Grind. I can’t think of another spot in the whole area for food this good when you don’t have a lot of time.

I can't enough good things about this place. Everybody is friendly and polite. All the staff quickly learns and remembers usual orders. Smiles are always free here. Best donuts in town!
We got all the cookies from here and some coffees the coffee is great and it feels good to support local businesses! The cookies and 100/10. Each flavour tastes exactly as described not just like fake sugar. They’re all made fresh to order and it’s impossible to wait to eat them. The kunafa cookie is a must try
I come here almost every week. And EVERY time, I’m highly disappointed. They add ingredients that are borderline stale and the employees don’t know how to build a sandwich. They don’t close them and as soon as you take out the sandwich from the packaging everything falls out. I think over the years quality has just decreased.
Best cookies in london? Been to the downtown location before and for some reason the new location tastes better. I tried many places and never I have this goey-soft-crunchy round consistency. IMO its a bit sweet, but at the end of the day cookie is sweet. Would come back for other flavours ❤️
Me and my husband got the iced matcha latte and the karak chai latte. Hands down best drinks we’ve ever had! The food was amazing as well. We would definitely recommend this place!
No whole wheat bread and only had halepeno cheese and the guy serving me could not speak English
Cookies are over-sweetened. Can’t taste much other than sugar. The Kunafa flavor is especially disappointing. Pricing could have been better given the small portion and the fact there’s no dine in option.
Cookie was irresistible. More on soft/gooey side. The cardamom coffee was probably the best I've had in Canada, though I don't try much. I am a very picky coffee drinker nevertheless.
I’ve never been rushed so much in my life for no reason. Nobody else in line. Stale cookies. Rude girl. Sandwich was ok but she put sauce so quick that it was a mess when I opened it…
This one is the cheaper in Hull-Plateau. 👍 I been there during the day and late at night. The personnel at night was nicer than during the day. Both were efficient at their work.
I'm in vancouver for work. Came here for breakfast as it's close to my hotel. Ordered a salmon bagel, almond croissant and tropical smoothie. Absolutely amazing and fresh ingredients. Staff are so friendly. Definitely must try this place
The cake 8 inch about $60 so it’s reasonable price. The cake is beautiful and presentation is good . The customer service is really good.
The cream on the cake was very nice and fresh the sponge part is light and moist. Also not too sweet. I think it might be gluten free there wasn’t much density. However the sponge cake has clumps of sugar some parts really sugary when I bit into it

The last time, I asked the owner to prepare a special Iranian sandwich, and she made Olvie with Salami and Ham

Very clean inside it was spotless and the food was great! Generous portions, lots of meat with fresh toppings.
Customer service was fine, the worker was not rude by any means, took my order and made the sandwich very well, they could have been tired or just having an off day but it almost seemed like they didn't want to be there. Overall I highly recommend if you're looking for a fresh sandwich shop!

Love this place. Donuts are some of the best you’ll find and they won’t cost you an arm and leg like those “fancy” donut shops. Coffee is always fresh, and the staff couldn’t be more polite and friendly. Head and shoulders above Tim Hortons
I visited Villamadina recently and had an okay experience with the food. The shawarma was decent, but my visit was overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation. During my time there, I witnessed a dispute between the manager and one of the employees. This made the atmosphere quite tense, which affected my overall experience. It would be great to see more supportive interactions among the staff in the future to ensure a welcoming environment for all customers.

I'm visiting Vancouver. I found Capilano Market on my way since I'm staying closed by. I got a very well made bagel with smoked salmon, cucumber 🥒, 🍅, 🧅 and cream cheese with spinach. 😳 Wow, it was delicious 😋. I had a cappuccino and I went to eat it on the small patio outside to enjoy the beautiful sunny ☀️ morning. The two ladies in the counter are stellar. Great customer service and the best bagel I have had so far. I'll come back tomorrow. If you are nearby, a visit is worth it. 😋😊👍💯
First time visiting Villa Madina and I won’t lie I was very dissatisfied with the meal overall. The staff was friendly but honestly the chicken shawarma plate is very bland, no flavour. I’m from Montreal and when you eat at places like Boustan and forgive me for saying, Amir….there is a lot more flavour. The rice had no flavour, the chicken had no flavour and the coleslaw tasted like a generic St-Hubert coleslaw or Benny and Co.
I didn’t “hate” my meal but I was expecting more that’s all. Also, when did we get to 25$ for a Shawarma plate in Canada. Most I ever plaid for one was 18$ in Montreal and that’s from Boustan’s

Just Went there to order something and the cashier an elderly( probably Kenner) was busy with his own people chit chatting and didn’t bothered to serve me.for almost 3-4 mins, he kept talking to them, standing at cash register .i was so disappointed with such behaviour. Later a filipino lady walks in and cuts me in the line to order. I was like , lady have some common sense. The cashier immediately starts serving her, despite of the fact that I was there before her. I was so mad, that I left the store without even ordering anything. Never ever gonna go back there. People need to learn basic etiquettes
Been here a few times, every time you ask for vegetables you get a couple sad scraps tossed on. They are also cheap with the toppings that are supposed to go on the subs by default. You are paying for a big hunk of bread with a half cup of sauce. The subs went from looking decent (as evidence from a reviewer from 4 years ago) to thin and pathetic.
Not worth the 15$ plus price tag. They also are hidden behind a wall so you can't see what they are doing to your sandwich until you get to your car or home and open it up.

Blown away by this bakery! Both the knafeh and original chocolate chip cookies were amazing, not too sweet, and the knafeh especially was one of a kind. I was also very impressed with both their drip and cardamom latte and was not surprised to hear they source their beans from some of the best roasters in Toronto.
The owner was very kind and sought out any feedback we had. Very excited to come back again, definitely worth the trip!

Our favorite place to eat in Tanger! The chicken sandwich (shawarma) with spicy garlic is our go-to option here. The spicy garlic flavor is an absolute favorite of ours. We also enjoy the potato fries.
Love, love, love this place! Good coffee matters, and this place does it right! They listen to you. And their sandwiches are gourmet excellent. Always thrilled with the service. Happy, kind, attentive staff. Will happily recommend.

This store sales my day old bread then have the nerve to lie to me and say they checked camera to see that she toasted 1 sub and the bread toasted or not was day old now this subway lies on the customer. I will never at this place, but its good to know i have been giving my hard earn money to this store. ALL LIES FOOD NOT FRESH AND THATS THE TRUTH THIS LOCATION
Found this restaurant on a whim on Tuesday afternoon. Walked in and was greeted with the most kind / genuine customer service. We were new to the restaurant and the man at the counter gave us some suggestions and was so patient. After we sat down to eat right away we knew we would be back. Probably one of the best places I’ve been to in a long while. Everything was so so fresh and loaded to everything you want on it! And the prices are amazing. They asked us how everything was when we were done and we had to let them know we will become regular customers. Amazing place can’t wait to go back. Great work guys!

I will drive out to Tanger just for this sandwich in the future - maybe today.

This place is amazing! I tried two different cakes: sweet potato & red velvet and they were both delicious. Their cakes are slightly less sweet than the ones from other bakeries. Perfect for people who find desserts too sweet in general!
Sweetest couple ever. The cakes are fantastic. We tried the matcha chiffon, carrot cake, black forest and sweet potato cake (picture) and they were all fantastic. She even included some meringues in the box.
Stumbled upon this bakery on my short stay in North Vancouver. First day had the chocolate and almond croissant ( baked in store). They were absolutely delicious and so filling.
On the second day had a rotisserie chicken sub and was amazed at how good it was. They took a bread roll and then threw it in a Panini press. Made it like a crispy flavor explosion in my mouth.

I had the traditional club. The egg bread was fresh and soft!
They put on lots of good quality turkey and bacon. The veggies were fresh.
I took it to go and it did not get soggy like other sandwiches do.
I will never be going back to subway as long as this place is open!

One of the last country styles that bake on site fresh donuts . The donuts are bigger and better made than Tim Hortons. If you are in this area get your donuts here . I recommend the apple fritter , chocolate eclair, Hawaiian donut, country bits .

This branch takes coupons, I had good fast and accurate service.
Had a sub in under 5 minutes and it tastes good.

Who wants to spend $25+ on a combo at Subway?!?! Prices have gotten completely out of control for the lackluster quality food. Why not have a shawarma for less than half the price? Personally, I am completely done with Subway as of 2023.

I just stopped in at this Subway because it's the only one thats open past 8pm. Online the hours are listed as open until 9pm. When I arrived at 8:20 the open sign was on as well as all the lights and there was a cashier inside but the door was locked. I tired knocking on the door and even calling the store number to see why I couldnt get in even thought the open sign was on and the hours listen at the door said open until 9pm but I got no response. I'm very upset at this unprofessional service, if you're going to close early then at least turn the open sign off
Super fresh, filling, delicious and beautifully crafted sandwiches. The steak, turkey and meatballs are all slow cooked in store - the steak was so tender and juicy and far exceeded my expectations! 😋

The customer service at this location leaves a lot to be desired. I understand that we’re in Quebec but once I said my greeting in English I could tell by the sandwich artists demeanour I was in for a rough time. Ultimately they seamed bothered by my order and rather focus on prep tasks.
As for the food it was alright, and I get that you’re trying to portion control toppings but when you ask for olives and they only put three on it, like that’s ridiculous.
Overall between the struggle to get a decent meal here, at the price of $16 for a single combo, this wasn’t worth it.

Their hovens don't even work. Time to wake up guys....get theme fixed or close the shop down until your fully operational .....Worst subway sandwich Ive ever had.. 🙄

Very poor service, wanted a glass of water and they refused to give a cup or fill it with water even though we purchased 2 sandwiches. They also treat customers pretty rudely. Other subways are much better and luckily there are many other restaurants to choose from at the food court.
I was eager to try this highly rated new spot in my area..and it didn’t disappoint! I was so happy to see they have halal options! Their meatballs and their steak is halal and kept at a separated container form the deli meat.. I got a steak sandwich their pre picked choice and it was very flavourful and fresh, and I think it will be both my lunch and dinner! The guy that served me was super friendly and can’t wait to bring the rest of my family here!
Highly recommended. Chris made my sandwich from scratch and to my preference. I choose to 'build my own' with choice of 3 protein, toppings and dressing. I took Option B that included a side (coleslaw) plus dessert was an amazing donut from Maverick Donut. Access is via the gas station on the corner
Quiznos is a great spot for a delicious sub. Their subs are fresh and flavorful, with a variety of options to choose from. I particularly appreciate the amount of sauces they provide, which really elevates the overall taste. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant, making for an enjoyable dining experience. If you're in the mood for a tasty sub, give Quiznos a try!
This is a photo of my experience. A long piece of black hair in my sandwich. Found out they don't even wear hair nets to help avoid hair from falling in your food. Even though they offered a discount this obviously left a bad taste in my mouth. Truly disappointed.
Truly amazing! Visiting from Toronto and stopped by, it was well worth it. The happiest owners, and delicious smelling shop. I got the sweet potato cake, which was very unique, and sampled the red velvet. The most perfect amount of sweetness and texture, and the best cream cheese frosting I’ve ever had (I don’t usually like frosting but this was so good.) If I wasn’t just visiting I’d buy a whole cake to take home to share with my family for sure. They also do cute little gift boxes. Thank you!

I've been to this cafe on three separate occasions, and was always welcomed warmly. The bibimbap is delicious and the portions are generous. The cakes and dessert are wonderful, never too heavy or too sweet. I'd recommend the mango and or the blueberry cheesecake, the carrot cake, the Belgian chocolate cake and or the tiramisu (basically everything I've had so far has been great). You also often get a little cake sample, which is lovely (who doesn't love free cake?!)
The cafe is clean, and the general atmosphere is peaceful and warm. There is also complimentary WiFi in the cafe, so great if you need to get a bit of work done.

I didn't like the grilled chicken and turkey sandwiches that I tried twice in this branch. One of them made me feel stomachace right after eating the sandwiche. And also we couldn't order online which makes us to wait in a long queue. Overlly, did not worth the price we pay for them.
Worst service ever ! I work in the mall for more than 20 years !! Never seen this kind of service !! The chicken was soo wet in water and still serve it . When ask for the trio i took the biscuit. The guy that served me was going and get the new batch put the other girl tells him to give me the old bag that was already sitting there under the cash ! The grease went thru the bag !! It was discusting !! Tou guys just lost a client !!

Terrible customer service. While waiting in line I experienced the attendant cross contaminate all the veggies after handling bacon and other meats without changing gloves. As I pointed this out, he got defensive and telling me that all restaurants to this and yelled good bye waving me to leave. 0/10 would not recommend.
The absolute BEST fast food sandwich place; I don't understand how other locations in the city keep closing. I'm not in the area much but any time I am I plan a trip to Quiznos because their bread is just so tasty!! The Bells Corners location also has the most wonderful staff. Sarah happens to be there everytime I've gone and she offers exemplary customer service. Thank you!! #bajachicken
The last - or one of the last - Quizno's in Ottawa. Same great menu as always; a variety of chicken, deli meat, and steak sandwiches. All toasted on one of four buns. Great patio to comply with COVID requirements.

The last Quiznos of Ottawa. It is unfortunate to see them closing recently. Amazing restaurant with tasty menu. Quiznos is known for the quality of their ingredients. The staff at this location was friendly and fast. I recommend it!
Better than most. Clean, well staffed. Good place for the person at a nearby table to get dumped. I guess that's not La Prep's fault.
Always visit subway for my favourite pizza melt sub, whenever I’m craving it. The staff here are super polite and professional. Never have any complaints.

Worst customer service ever! They filled up my soup half way, as if I didn't pay for it. Usually I understand fast service when there is a line they are under stress, but I was the only one there... I found her to be annoyed at me when I asked to remove the non edible to end of the tomato, to I had I asked it a second time because she gave me another one to which I had to ask a second time to remove. Just quite disappointing

I have been to this place before as its across the street from my work and have never had an experience as today. I went in to get a coffee and was greeted promptly. I placed my order for coffee and asked for a cup of ice water as well. The male barista handed me my coffee took payment and walked away without saying goodbye or have a nice day. When another barista approached I asked again " can i please have a cup of ice water?". At this point she looked confused as if i were asking her to solve a math problem... What is so difficult about a customer asking for a cup of water for god sakes!! So i asked again trying to remain calm, she looked at the other male barista and began to speak a different language and she asked for here or to go? I said to go. She then asked if i wanted only ice ??? I just asked for ICE WATER 3 TIMES... and she still doesn't understand. The female barista placed a plastic cup with the tiniest amount of water on the counter and walked away. I proceeded to ask her if there was an issue with a paying customer asking for water. If there is a charge for the cup then say so don't act like you didn't here me when i asked or act dumbfounded. That is unacceptable customer service. My coffee was average so i rated 1 star but if there was an option for customer service here it would be in the negative for sure.
Fortunately, I don't have to eat here often. My impression was not favourable. It took an unnecessary long time to prepare a smoothie. I was embarassed for the lady. It may have been caused by the fact that she appeared to be trying to train 2 people, who didn't know how to work the cash. She kept getting called away to assist one of them. She was having problems with the equipment, too, and when I finally got the smoothie, it wasn't very tasty. I tried again the next day, but was once again disappointed. The biscotti was stale. The place is very pricey for the quality.
