I was here at lunch on a weekday around 1130. Only 1 worker here operating the entire shop. Very sad to see this level of care. Took over 30 minutes to get a sub. Avoid this place if you're hoping to have a 10/15 minute lunch.
Ordered a salad through Skip, subway took almost 3hrs to get my salad to me and it was completely wrong. No cheese, no pickles, no garlic sauce sauce. No tomatoes, no crispy onions and no pickles which I asked for extra

I’ve been hyped to try this place for a long time, but never made it to the west side, so I was super excited when they announced they were opening on the east side.
I lined up opening day and was completely disappointed. The bread was straight up stale, like two day old stale. And the sandwich had so much vinegar it was literally all I could taste.
Good behaviour and Grandma loves you are far superior. I have no idea what all the hype is about.

A great deli sandwich! There is nothing that I can really complain about this place but I guess with the hype that its been getting I was expecting something amazing but it was more along the lines of a 3.5/5 for me, especially for an $18. While it didn't quite reach the level of amazing that I was anticipating I can't deny that it's a solid deli sub. If you're in the mood for a satisfying sandwich, this place is still worth a visit.
Great little spot, very glad to have found it. Was greeted by a warm hello as soon as I entered. Tried the Bulgogi Club Sandwich, and it was delicious. If you are in the neighbourhood I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite. Will definitely be back.
If you want an elevated deli sandwich, come here 😋 Service was slow, took a while to make our meal. I felt like it was not enough deli meat on it but, still delicious had a lot of layers of flavour, like presto, and pepper spread. Doesn’t compare to a regular deli sandwich because it’s very different, but delicious in its own way😋
This is one of my go-to breakfast/lunch spots. It's local and family owned by a very friendly, sweet couple who really put care into the food. They make a variety of classic sandwiches and also some Korean dishes. My regular order is the Kimchi sandwich - it comes with kimchi, egg, cheese and tomato. It's always fresh and hits the spot for breakfast. There's a couple tables so you can sit in but I always get takeout.
I’m a big fan of Lambo’s so I was really happy to see that they’ve opened a location in the East end! I got the Classic Combo and Turkey Bacon Club.
The sandwiches were tasty and filling but they had way too much sauce. I’m not sure if I just got unlucky but both my sandwiches were soaked through, very messy and way too saucy. All else considered though, it was still a good sandwich.

Great sandwich and friendly staff. Delicious and high quality ingredients. I’d suggest ordering ahead because this place is busy! My order was ready on time and was a knockout.
One of the BEST subs I’ve eaten. Everything tasted so fresh, the pesto was *chefs kiss*. As much as I wanted to devour the second half, after eating the first half I was so full. This is the “Italian trio”. It has a kick to it, but nothing unbearable. Super delicious. Cannot wait to try the other varieties !

Awesome sandwich that lives up to the hype. Perfect balance between meat, cheese, veggies and sauces all beautifully presented on a sub roll that holds everything in place.

Delectable & heavenly pastries. My personal fav was their almond croissant and carrot cake. I would highly recommend it!!

I am lying here at St. Michaels Hospital. My wife and daughter who are staying in Toronto close by went yesterday to see if they can find a place with some good food to substitute the hospital cuisine. They brought me back some Tom Yum soup . Wow is all I can say. My family told me about the incredible service and friendly staff. Today they went again and brought me back a small Tom Yum Soup and a super salad wrap. I had the soup earlier and saved the wrap. I just woke up and despite the somewhat intimidating size of the wrap started eating it. What happened in my mouth in terms of flavour and taste is hard to describe. I ate the whole thing because I could not stop. This by far the best wrap I have ever eaten and is quite possibly the best wrap on earth. What the Antibiotics and excellent care I receive at St.Mikes can’t do this wrap will do. I can’t wait to get heal and meet the owners myself. God this wrap made me emotional. Thank you super salad

Pita was nicely mixed with the ingredients and had a good amount of them. Beef was well seasoned and cooked right. The little cup of $4.50 onion rings were quite depressing, however; not much onion and just crisped batter over-load. Pita and drink were reasonably priced.

Service was very slow the subs came out very sloppy (didn’t have much on them) and they had so much salt we had to throw both of our subs out, I’ve never wrote a review but had too here, definitely will not be back at this location again
The speed of service pleasantly surprised me. I had anticipated a 5-6 minute wait for my food, but it was ready right after I made my payment. Additionally, when I encountered card issues, the Guy assisting me patiently waited until I resolved them. This combination of excellent service and delicious food made it the best experience I've had at Cultures so far!
Went here for my work lunch and wanted a healthier option and thankfully this was the only place and I had a really good chicken sandwich and smoothie loved it will be coming back. The service was also good and the cashier was super nice.
Do not be fooled, this place is the best thing in that God forsaken mall and definitely the best in that food court.

I always order big catered lunches for work meetings from AAamazing Salads. They have the most delicious wraps, beautifully presented lunch boxes and incredible service. They are always reliable and taste delicious. It is always a crowd pleaser when I order from here!

I wanted to have a good pastry or croissant before going back home to U.S, My husband picked this place and thought we will probably will not be able to find parking so we risking it anyway.
Got here enough early which before 8am and the parking pretty empty it was just the parking on the street is pay parking but since we grab and go didn’t see the problems especially when we entered we were the only customer at that moment.
There were 2 worker behind the line, one lady and a guy with glasses (too bad didn’t catch his name) but the guy was so helpful and friendly. I asked him about all the pastry on the left clear glass and he explained every each item that was in it 👌.
We got 2 croissants (chocolate and cheese) and their croissants is huge compare our croissants in U.S 😅 and we’re loving it.

I've said it before but I do like a little love with my latte. It's my opinion that a coffee shop should be the place for a friendly greeting, a wee chat and service with a smile. After all, you are paying a lot of money for some hot water, a little milk and an add-on that costs a fraction of the price if made at home. Anyway, I went into this place for a matcha and greeted them warmly and the lady at the counter just scowled at me during the whole process. She really didn't seem to be happy but might I suggest perhaps a change of career? The matcha was quite good but I won't go back because of the attitude.
Very friendly staff/owners provided quick and excellent service. I got the bulgogi sandwich and was so delicious. Perfect lunch option in the liberty village area I would Definitely come back here again
The people make this a great sandwich shop, however the menu really hasn't changed in decades. It's ok, but that's all. The drinks selection is dismal - not only are they Pepsi products (mostly yuck) but choice is extremely limited. This means I won't be buying any "meal deals."

this cafe is charming , great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and very tasty muffins with top quality ingredients and excellent coffee options…the whole environment speaks of comfortable and enjoyable dining…it as been a while since we last visited but we will be back soon…highly recommended…we really appreciated our cheese cake from Trees Organic shop , prepared and consumed on our back porch in a very pleasant way..very tasty !

This place was recommended to me for my lunch breaks as part of a business trip in Toronto and I must say this is a fantastic place where to have a healthy and tasty lunch!
The owners always welcome you with a big smile and some nice words and it's always a pleasure to go there and to discuss with them.

Great spot for OG Italian style subs. I wish the protein portions were a little bit bigger as some of the sandwiches felt like eating salad in a bun. Taste wise the Italian trio was the best and had the most flavor and interesting ingredients.
I was introduced to this gem during a secret food tour in Montreal. We sampled the white chocolate brioche. It was completely sinful. I write this review for you, but also selfishly , for myself, so if I’m ever back in Montreal, I don’t forget to pay this lovely bakery a visit. Definitely go!
This place is seriously the best!! The people who work here might honestly be the nicest people in all of Toronto! They have become my friends and always remember my usual order. These guys work SO HARD to produce a product that is fresh, vibrant, consistent, and most important of all, delicious! As a Vegetarian I take the quality of my produce seriously and have never once had an issue with slimy or wilted greens or veg that is less than immaculate. I've told all my friends about here for good reason! They do catering too! Love love love this place! Try it out, you won't regret it!
I have been coming to Pita Factory off and on for years and am a huge fan of their fresh veggies.
Today when I went to get a gyro salad I was disappointed to see the quality of the veggies. The cucumbers were rubbery, the tomatoes were extremely soft and mushy, and the general overall quality of the salad was not worth the $14.
I am still willing to give Factory Pita another shot, but probably at a different location.

Cultures is the best place for those who wants healthy food. I tried their famous powerplant burrito. Omg!! It was so delicious and I really want to go back for trying more food. Highly recommending. Best food in STC!!..
In my opinion, this is the best salad/bowl place in the city! The ingredients are so fresh and the buddha bowl is my favourite! Not to mention the most delicious balsamic vinaigrette 🤤 that you can also purchase to take it home! I have ordered their catering services for our office multiple times and they never disappoint! Eva and her family are so kind and loving! Highly recommend this place!
Needed to hit up this joint before my flight. First time here. Pretty great. Ordering online for pickup was breezy. Truly will be back often when visiting Toronto. Nice corner, vibrant colors, can't miss it. Got the Trio consisting of capicollo, mortadella and prosciutto along with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, pickled red onions, arugula, pesto and Calabrian chili blend. Excellent!!! Sorry not sorry about the repetitive photos. It's just so beautiful.
If you don’t know how to bake or need some fresh bread for the week, this is a great spot. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit. The cookie was very dry and sweet and the potato and cheese roll didn’t taste like much. The bread selection didn’t wow me and the salespeople don’t seem to be of much help. Would recommend providing samples, otherwise it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the options available.
Always go to the location. Owner is a stand up guy. Loads good food in that pita with no skimping on amount. It's easily the best bang for your buck in the city. 👍👍🤙
I discovered this place only two months ago and since I have twice per week lunch here. They have a very good variety of salads and bowls. Everything is fresh and looks amazing. The place can get sometimes busy but if you wait a little you will not regret. The buisness is family operated and they put a lot of work, so please be kind and patient, they are really nice. I love the Cobb and the queen salad. The keto options are great too. Recently we tried a veggie wrap with Thai sauce,my husband was amazed by the flavour combinations. The mango smoothie remains my favourite.

They have vegan options, however, the substitute is not good. It’s tasteless and boring. I don’t recommend this place for people with a vegan diet.

A great option for coffee and sit down with snacks. Open atmosphere and seating outside as well. The coffee is pretty standard but there is a fine selection of pastries and other eats. Good location close to Arbutus.
The staff is so friendly. Been going there for years. The Chicken Philly and Chicken Teriyaki are both amazing.

Sandwiches were pretty good. Had the classic combo, Italian trio, turkey pesto and mortadella. All filled to the brim with fresh ingredients and tasted great! Would have liked a bit less of the pickled veg in the classic combo but the mortadella was the standout. I’ll be back to try the other flavours
We have been coming here for years and it’s the best place to go and enjoy a nice lunch, we live a bit far, but keep driving here to place that it’s absolutely worth it and the lady is very nice, she just need and extra hand for when the place gets a bit too busy.

Wonderful looking breads in this shop. I had a Galette and it was tasty. In a great neighborhood too.
Quality decline, the same disease spreading to most business to cut in quality to maximize gain. Very unfortunate to see Guillaume go that way. Bought 8 Ciabatta bread for 14$. Very disappointing the size. Not even enough to cut In half.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, friendly service, recommend the stir fry pita with or without proteins it is great, add honey garlic sauce for that extra flavour. Onion rings are better than the fries.
Got the beef bulgogi club sandwich, it was excellent. The family run restaurant is very friendly and they are extremely welcoming. They validated my order with showings a picture of the item from a book of menu items which was nice.
If you're going to go to a Trees in that area, make it this one, rather than the one close by at Broadway and Pine. The staff is really friendly and competent, and the atmosphere is excellent. There are really comfortable, cozy but spacious benches and tables and I found it one of the most pleasant "third spaces" that I've been in for quite a long time. The other one in that neighborhood is exactly the opposite and made me and my husband swear we were never going to go to a Trees again. I'm glad I tried this one.
Good place for healthy soups(They serve salads as well). I had their chicken soup with rice- you can tell from that taste that the food is healthy. The people there are real friendly. I saw many take out orders being prepared while I was trying their soup. Seating for twos available.
Cheese croissant is soooo good here and white chocolate and vanilla mushroom too. I definitely suggest this place and they even have many types of breads and everything is freshly baked.
I will go out of my way to go here. The staff especially the owner are always friendly. The food is great and the portions are great. Would absolutely recommend.
This is my absolute favourite coffee shop in the city. The folks here really work hard to show up for their customers and have a positive impact on their days. The customer service is unparalleled. They’re lovely to chat with and sometimes they come out to pet my dog. Grateful for these folks and their commitment to facilitating genuine connections around coffee - I always leave with a smile. Such a great local spot!

I would say that the food was okay. Taste great yes, but expensive for what you get. I got a small cheesy steak sandwich and gourmet fries. My total was$20.20. It was my first time trying. I sat for me it was a great try but not my top option.
Walked in here randomly, the nicest people greeted me and helped me through the menu. They were quick with getting me my takeaway and the food was delicious! (Chicken Caesar salad and Tofu/veggie panini) Will be going back for sure
I am guessing this restaurant has watered down their seasonings and spices to suit the community because the food was very bland and overpriced for a fast food place. Lots of cabbage in the dish. The staff are very friendly but that’s about it. May other fast food spots in the area that provide a lot more food with taste for cheaper price.
Very friendly owners! The spicy chicken soup was served piping hot, and stayed hot until the last slurp. Nice taste and a generous amount of chicken. Everything you would want in a soup. Their sandwiches seem popular would try next time.

Might be I was blind for couple of years that couldn’t see this best healthy food place😂😂 best bowl and mostly importantly the staff service. Took the order very patiently. My mom was in town for the very first time they explained her the things very well(calmly) definitely gonna be my to go place for healthy stuff. The steak was juicy and loaded in with that nice layer of cheese. The bread was a little soft from the juices and was really hard to get a good pic in, but really really enjoyed this Philly steak

The steak was juicy and loaded in with that nice layer of cheese. The bread was a little soft from the juices and was really hard to get a good pic in, but really really enjoyed this Philly steak
Definitely a nice little find in woodbine mall! What better way to fill your stomach while visiting fantasy fair!
I didn’t get to interact with the staff as my wife and son went to grab the food, but already cannot wait to go back and try more when I’m in the area!

Services A1! Fresh vegetables! Staff were very kind and also fast!
Tried to order a Philly cheesesteak. Young lady working was not cutting the meat and vegetables. I asked her several times but her lack of enthusiasm impacted her doing so. I asked for another person to try and upon her coming out she focused on one green pepper even though I asked for the meat to be done as they usually do. I was then informed the meat had been on the grill too long at this point and could not cut meat smaller. I finally asked for my money back and left without my dinner. Worker did not seem to care. Even though I expressed to her what I wanted she just continued as she was until I was frustrated and gave up. Didn’t seem to care that I was unhappy and leaving without my meal. At the end she offered to remake my sandwich but by then it was too little too late. A real display of just not caring. I have been going to this place for years. The owner is fantastic. Friendly and consistent in how she makes the sandwiches. Unfortunately she was not there tonight. I would have given no stars if I could have since I left without my meal.

Once I get there, there is a line full of people so I politely asked the girl at the cash for my order (as I normally do at other subways) she then begins to tell me that they never received my order and that there’s nothing she can do for me — I asked to be reimbursed and she called the manager since she didn’t know how… only for him to say to pass through the app… there isn’t an option in the app… The manager than tells her to tell me to contact my credit card company and contest the charge…
All this for a 6$ sub. I’ve honestly never been so confused at the disorganization and the clear lack of customer service and false information I received at this location.

I usually go to this location during my work breaks... friendly staff and they are pretty fast when its about making your order.. and definitely this place is busy sometimes coz they are doing good job serving us delicious subs .

Every time we go they are out of items. This trip we ordered the new rice bowl. There was hardly any rice when asked if there should be more. They said you have to pay more for "extra rice. " Green Goddess Veggie is in the picture. Green Goddess sauce not included because it tastes horrible. Toppings they were out of was spinach, avocado and didn't include the cheese.
What business has one staff on a Friday evening. I felt bad she was working alone on a busy night. There is high turnover as we have never had the same person serve us.

Great services, friendly staff, and has the best suggestions and choices of fresh topping. Ordered 2 chicken stir fry traditional with pineapple and banana peppers added sweet chillies and honey garlic sauces on top. There is no limit on how much sauces, and the types of sauces. Onions rings and french fries on the sides 😍.
A glutinous paradise! Beautiful bakery with fresh bread, pastries, and sandwiches. So many unique options like fig and cheddar baguettes, almond croissants, cinnamon twists, and “mushroom” pastries.

I have been on other Trees branches, so nothing to add about their high quality coffee and cakes. What is special about this branch is its vibe, cozy place to do work and friendly baristas.
Bread wasn’t cooked all the way (chewy) the brown girl had an attiutude plus i found some hair in my sandwich while eating it… Discusting place and discusting brown girl!!!
The pastries are so fresh and delicious! The staff were also so helpful in recommending options for us! We got the frangipane croissant, white chocolate and original chanpignons, olive focaccia bread, apple turnover, potato and cheese bread, and maple scone. All tasted amazing!!
I would have given 10 stars if there was an option just because of the helpful staff . The Baristas Bella and Wyatt are super duper awesome!!! Made my day. The art pieces are done by them and they are mind blowing! For the coffee, it can't get fresher than this. The espresso shot was one of the best i had. I got the Peruvian beans for my aeropress and it makes a killer coffee. Both of them went out of their way to help me choose the best coffee beans. And took out time to explain about the different coffees. One of the best places to have a cup of coffee in BC. I didn't have the chance to try the cheesecake which is supposedly the best but will save the edit for another review.
The food is good! Not the best philly cheese ever but quality and taste are good. A bit pricey for the size but if you order via DoorDash for Pickup / delivery there are often times coupons or promos going on to help you save a couple bucks. The owner needs to be a bit warmer to her customers and staff! She seems to be very cheap with toppings and overbearing to the young staff watching like a hawk for portion sizes so I took of a star. Not a fan of that style of management but the food is good!
Food here is really tasty! We had their Turkey Cheddar Melt and Bacon 3 Cheese steak; the meat is cooked in front of you on a teppan grill. The flavours of the ingredients combined deliciously with every bite. Their Ultimate Gourmet Fries and Nacho Fries also completed the meal.
The downside however is they are super pricy... especially when compared with the small portion size. Agreeing with other reviewers, they are really stingy with the toppings as well. Customer service is friendly and efficient.

Yesterday August 13 we just arrived 15 minutes before closing and they didn’t want to serve us by telling that they are closed. Even after I told them that they are not closed as the door was still open and it’s still not 9 pm, but they don’t want to work. With this kind of customer service better to close the shop. Never again I will enter in this subway!!!!
There's one younger male employee who is really great, the other ones are ok. But my biggest complaint is quality control...found a long hair BAKED into my bread. When I called to complain I was told "one minute, I'll get the manager" but got hung up on instead, and haven't heard anything back from corporate. Drove 30 minutes to get food - wasted time, fuel, and $12 on a sub that I had to throw out.

My sandwich was tasty but it was just thrown together. It was a mess to eat compared to any other Subway I have been to. The employees don't seem to enjoy their job and it shows in their food.
In future I prefer to visit a different Subway.

Great food, great service! I always enjoy chatting with the employees here and the food is always fresh! I choose to visit this location which is across town from where I live, so that is a good testament to the quality! If you're looking for a delicious, healthy bite to eat, check this place out!
The staff is very friendly and efficient! They always great me whit a smile . The place opened up less than a year ago and is the cleanest and most modern subway I have seen so far. It's spotless! You have a nice little dining area that is big enough to hold about a dozen people. The subway is situated in a small mall so the main walkway outside the restaurant is wheelchair accessible although their is a 90 degree angle from the outside door and the dining area. All and all I go there on average once a week to get something to eat on my lunch break and I have always been happy whit the service. Bonne appétit!
I would say Subway should respect vegan people seriously. They don't change gloves or not wipe clean knives. Imagine allergic people getting contamination from poor hygiene by the staff. I would say ... ****× nothing more. Also they sell really expensive.
A favorite spot of mine. Afternoon Medium Decaf Capucinno is hot, nice coffee flavor, and just the right amount of coffee and foam. The cheesecake is amazing, although I try and go for something lighter. The lemon loaf is light with the right amount of sweetness. I tried their vegan cookie for the first time today. Filled with dried fruits and nuts, it is great and quite filling. Stop by and have a break.
Amazing bowls, customer service and quality of ingredients. This gem of a healthy eatery is tucked away in Kensington and definitely worth paying a visit to. The bowls we had were large and filling with a warm quinoa base. Shop owner and bowl maker were very friendly, super quick and efficient service. The place is quite small so it’s a hit-and-a-miss dining in but don’t let this deter you from checking this place out! Will not disappoint.
