Small Cosy Diner with many english breakfast options and great variety for kids meals too. They have halal meat options and portion size was huge for price.
My mother-in-law came to visit and I promised her to go for high tea together because she's never tried before but for me, I've tried many times because I love high tea. My husband booked this bakery shop for me based on the reviews so we were looking forward to it. We liked the plates and tea set very much because it was a beautiful set. We loved our tea especially my tea was lavender something I forgot the name sorry I absolutely loved it. But I was kinda disappointed in the high tea set because I was expecting it to look more elegant, more special, more neat to set everything. My mother-in-law said it's ok because anyway she never tried before but when we tried, most of the desserts were kinda too sweet for us. So ended up a lot of left over take home for my sweet tooth husband. So at least, good to try but no more the high tea. Good service and clean
My online order for delivery was cancelled by the store on 2 separate occasions. When I tried to inquire about the cancellation, the staff let me know the manager instructed them to cancel all delivery through DoorDash (the default option for delivery through the official subway app). Why offer delivery if the order is cancelled by default?

Loved this small but cozy restaurant. Food was great, our server was very kind to us and they have some really good deals during the week and very affordable menu. Nice spot for a Saturday morning breakfast.
I was I the area getting patties and u thought I’d give this place a try … bad idea when I walked in the person ahead of me was already a little frustrated when I walked in fie to the person In front of her…. I continued to wait ordered a sandwich than walked back to my Pattie place …had a brief Convo with the girl at the Pattie place paid for my food and went back to pick up my sandwich for just had a feeling it wouldn’t be ready …. When I walked back in to pick up my sandwich where I told it would be waiting …. I look at the girl making it she has some washed up piece of meat she was cutting in half like … if your food is that bad it should have been ready 12 min ago don’t waste your money or time here and as for the person that said there are swings it’s a lie

Saw a cockroach climbing the walls while we were waiting for our food. My girlfriend got the calamari platter and it was slimy, tasted off, and her fries were undercooked. My gyro was good although the fries were under seasoned. However we both had stomach aches all night from the food. Staff was very nice, but overall a regrettable and haunting experience.

I love this cafe!! It's the perfect little spot for studying with a good selection of drinks and food. They currently have a pumpkin chai which is amazing but their coffee is also really good too. They also have some loafs and other baked goods that's are delicious, I personally love their lemon loaf! They have a discount for students which is amazing for uni kids as the environment is perfect for studying and even if your not studying the interior is overall just really relaxing and peaceful. Perfect for Instagram worthy photos.

Visited this place for brunch on September 15,2024, the food was good but the customer service was below average. The person attending to us didn’t seem experienced in customer service, we weren’t offered coffee or any drinks and we had to ask for water, and once we asked for water he gave us two cups and a bottle even though we where a group of three, I’m assuming he thought we would share cups lol. Then we had to ask another waitress for an extra cup and she seemed very experienced wish we had her attending to us instead. We have been here a couple of times before and have always had a pleasant experience but the waiter we had last time ruined it, if you’re dining in and if you are planning on having a good time with your friends or family please make sure you have one of the ladies as your waitress they do an excellent job, I hope the guy who tended to us improves or learns proper customer service.
I had to share how much we loved Village Grec. Our team was working on a project nearby, and we decided to try this spot. We ended up eating here every single day for a week! The food is amazing—authentic Greek flavors that really taste like they come from a family recipe. Everything we tried was packed with flavour and always hit the spot. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a go. It’s a real gem!

The amount of food is very good in relation to the price, however I ordered the mixed one and it came with more rice than meat and vegetables, in the end I ended up leaving the rice because it was too much, I think they should balance the portions, I felt that they want to save costs by filling you with rice, everything else was delicious and they close late which is convenient if you get hungry at night

As an out-of-towner, I walked by this place at lunch time and it was quite packed so I decided to stop in. There’s like a dozen or so kebab / shawarma places in this 1mi radius so this one got me.

Indian woman staff is so rude she doesnt care about profesionalism and customer service. She barely puts any sauce, so always ask for extra just to get the regular amount compared to any other subway restos. I feel like no one rly cleans, everything is always so dirty.
I like the store that opened nearby, but the staff in the butchering section are not being very helpful. I was looking for thinly sliced beef for a hot pot party, and the man in the meat section told me to look in the halal meat section. Those are the only sliced beef they have. That is not the case. They only have beef for steak and stew on the shelf. I still could not understand why an Asian supermarket does not have thinly sliced beef. Since it is a frozen product with a long shelf life, I decided to ask an Asian lady instead. She might know better. She said they have it, but when I asked if it was beef, she did not hear me clearly because she had an earbud in her ear. I had to repeat the question, and she said yes. But it turned out to be frozen sliced pork. There was one guy who tried to help, and I could see how willing he was to help. All I am complaining about here is for them to improve their staff's customer service mindset. If they do not have something, just say so. Do not mislead the customer with misinformation.

The churro wasn’t even a churro bare no crunch , the person gave no business her vibes were Loki trash my friend got hand sanitizer in a toilet paper ( the hand sanitizer went through the paper)
Been here a couple times before and it's a serene cafe with lots of greenery. Great for catching up or studying when it's not busy. The music volume isn't too loud either which is a bonus.

Right off the bat, barista latte art is always wonderful. However upon my first couple of sips, I didn't get any rich nutty flavour toasted sesame typically has so I was very confused. I kept drinking it hoping it would shine through but in the end, it was just a regular latte sprinkled with black sesame seeds. I asked my friend about her iced sesame latte and she agreed that hers tasted like a regular coffee. We were both expecting it to taste similar to the asian desserts as we thought this was a korean inspired cafe. I did ask the barista working about the drink and she replied saying it's just regular syrup topped with sesame seeds. Overall, I don't recommend people ordering this drink if they were looking for the nutty sesame flavour to shine through. We both enjoyed the white chocolate matcha croffle though, edges were crispy yet buttery as usual and the sweetness from the matcha drizzle pairs well with any coffee drink.

This place is one of a hidden gem in edmonton downtown. It is pretty close to my office and whenever i go to office, i try to visit this place. Loved the rustic and cozy vibes of cafe especially the swings facing the sunshine.

If I could put zero stars, I would. The staff member here at 10:30 pm on Sunday Aug 4th was incredibly rude and did not understand nor try to accommodate my dairy allergy. She didn’t ask me what cheese I wanted and threw it on there anyway. When I told her I can’t eat cheese, she tried to scrape it off the meat. Unbelievable. Do you not understand food allergies????
I can't believe I got the new matcha drink from there, but when I tried it, it was soured! It basically tasted like milk went bad. I asked the employee if this was supposed to be soured, and she had the nerve to say yes. So I went back to my seat still feeling like something is wrong with this drink. I mean, I know milk shouldn’t be tasted like that. Then, after a minute, she came back and told me that it was not supposed to be like that. Really? They should do better.
Got there and ordered 2 subs. No AC, hot as hell in there. Went to pay and their machine was not working. Some issue on there end. Tried multiple time. Only had $20 cash on me and the bill was $26. Had to leave without my sandwiches and go to subway. I am a somewhat regular customer there, didn’t appreciate having to leave without my sandwiches when issue was on their end.

I just got Quiznos at Unicity and I am so impressed by Michael. He was so friendly, efficient and kind. He made sure that I got exactly what I wanted, double checked before he made any of the subs and made them to perfection. I will definitely visit this store whenever I'm in the mood for a sub!! 😀

We checked this place out couple days ago. Purchased the cinnamon roll and lemon loaf. Cinnamon roll was cold (almost like it was out of the refrigerator), lemon loaf dry. Staff tried their best not to interact. I'm looking for more of a friendly inviting vibe when going to a cafe/bakery. Unfortunately, will not be going back. Otherwise price is on par with other bakeries and the interior is nice.

This is located in Fairview mall opposite to T&T supermarket. Ordered Cinnamon chicken burger and it tasted good. Tried spicy glass noodles for the first time here and it’s one of the worst dish I ever tried. 2 star given is for the glass noodles.
They have vast selections of halal meats and poultry certified by HIC Canada and they regularly have weekly deals for halal beef or chicken or lamb and even duck. Marinated beef and chicken selections are also available. For Eid, they can cater to Qurbani needs with free cutting service at no additional costs. Recently, they also added halal processed meats selections on the shelf from Shahir brand (e.g., Turkey bacon, pastrami, pepperonis, etc.). On top of that, they also have great variety of Asian produces and products options and seasonal fruits that can be pretty challenging to find elsewhere like jackfruits and mangosteen.

Originating in Beijing, Bingz is fast food place you should try outside Western food. I must say, it is definitely an acquired taste and had it for the first time.

The burger was definitely the hightlight that I would come back for it. I didn't realize that the noodle was going to be so spicy that I didn't finish it. Mind you, it really was good, but after awhile I knew my stomach would not handle it well the next day. The plum fizz was okay, I'm not into fruity drinks but wanted to try it.
The crispy burger alone is worth coming back for.

All their food is amazing! Their sandwiches and wraps are the best around. They don’t use typical sandwich meat. They cook their ham, chicken, turkey, etc. so it’s always fresh and so tasty. Their lemon loaf and lemon crinkle cookies are so good!
Today my friend and I went in for sub of the day. I was shocked at how this Quiznos looked inside. It was filthy, everything was dirty the floors, tables, walls, 9 whoever painted in this restaurant definitely was not form the franchise as paint was messy and all over the wood trim as painters tape is clearly not used. Stains on the walls everywhere the floor you could see the grime in the corners and along the floor it was not pleasant to sit there and eat The one staff member overheard us talking about how gross the seats felt as they stuck to our butts. Its disgusting. Anyways I noticed the staff member cleaning the bathrooms was NOT WEARING GLOVES!! Quiznos is this how you want your restaurants to be ? I hope someone from the inspection department goes and inspects its really that gross and disgusting. HAVE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR BUSINESS !!NO STARS BUT A -10 NEGATIVE
I was really hungry and decided to grab a snack. Polite and smiling waiters, clean inside. I really wanted to try the Peking duck. I waited for my order for about 7 minutes. For a quick snack is not bad.
Excellent service and the sandwiches tasted so so fresh, from the bread to all the fresh ingredients inside. The platter is a really good idea for gatherings and just makes everything that much easier. Great location!!

So glad the Original is still here. Made a stop specifically for this on my way home to Toronto and it did not disappoint! That Garlic Sauce is still as good as I remembered!

I’ve been multiple times, and I love their food and service. It’s delicious, and the potatoes are sweet and flavorful. Their garlic aïoli is stellar with a good amount of garlic in there. And their sauces are also great.
Stopped by early morning and I can't get over how cute the cafe is! I love the amount of plants in the cafe, it really adds to the atmosphere, and the staff were really nice. I got an americano and have to say it's one of the better coffeea I've had. Definitely recommend checking it out.
Every time I come to this location, somethings wrong whether it be the pop machine broken, ovens not working.. and I get it these things happen but the service is just not good enough to look past those things.

Great value for money shawarmas. The potatoes are very good. The place isn't fancy. It feels run down. Service is quick and attentive.
Went for lunch sunday April 21, 2024 and had a turkey sub with spinach. I got sick pretty quickly and after a week of agony and illness, it's been confirmed that I do have salmonella food poisoning. I had not eaten anything else that day, before or after that sub. Please do better with food handling. I was very very ill for about a week and am still recovering.

I ordered dalgona coffee and cruffle. The coffee was a little sweeter than I expected, but there were some dalgona pieces on the top and it was interesting😋 Cruffle was big enough, crispy and good taste. The atmosphere was comfy and quiet. There are some more interesting coffee, I want to try next time.

I recently moved into the neighbourhood and we decided to visit this location on two separate occasions. That said, we ordered cold cut and turkey bacon which is a usual buy, and both times we ordered on the traditional white bread, and the bread seemed like it had been sitting there more than a few days. The bread was not fresh at all and we had gone around lunch time! We promised to never visit this location because we hate stale bread. So please do better and serve customers fresh bread and not stale bread to save a few bucks.

Service was quick. Tables were clean. There's a sink with tap water available to drain the leftovers before putting in the bin. I wish there was a compost bin available.

Absolutely horrified with my experience here. Portions were SO SMALL compared to the pictures- especially for the price. It felt like I barely ate anything after. Finished everything in like 5 minutes because of how less there was. Do not come here, the price is a scam compared to other food places. The chicken pieces were so tiny and such a small amount, plus the wonton size and quantity left me at shock because of how small everything was. Especially here at fairview you can get so much more for the same prices. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. Which is what we did after- went to Jimmy the Greek for so much more for just $16. Actually filled me up.

I tried Eggsmart while visiting Milton. It was a great halal brunch option! Just sure to ask for halal because they don’t do it by default.
We enjoyed these items: the chicken and waffle club sandwich, chocolate waffle (Chocohalic), southwest scrambler and Smash burger! All the food was tasty but my personal favorite was the Southwest scrambler. Perfect combo of sauce, veggies and soft scrambled egg!

Lucky market is a good place to buy affordable Asian food and produce. I usually go there when I want to get cheaper fruits and vegetables. I do stop by sometime for food also. I normally get a vietnamiese sub with the mung bean coconut drink for dessert ☺️ I highly reccomend checking this place out!
Service was great and fast. Great spot for a quick lunch. Items were freshly made and packed with just the right amount of flavour. The sauce for the cold noodles was served on the side so you could add to your preference. Noodle portions were generous!
We have been thinking to give it a try this place after getting a lot of praising from my friend. So we got a chance and tried meat lovers, veggies platter and my son wanted to have sausages. Server Almas helped us to place an order according to his choice. Coffee was also perfect. We didn't feel to have lunch later today.

I was there around 8:20 am, the Indian lady said she couldn't heat the food for me, and she can only microwave. I was like fine, whatever. I chose the chicken breast, then she pick it and put into the microwave WITHOUT container, and straight on the microwave spinner.

Very good falafel! Such delicious fillings and the pitta is perfectly crispy! The Crescent Street location is a little rough around the edges, but they give good service!

I don't like to say that but the washroom was the dirtiest washroom that I have seen. Water tank didn't work and the toilet didn't have water.

Lucky Supermarket is a great supermarket to shop at as it's very clean and organized. My personal favourite is the deli, where you can get an assortment of Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches for a very affordable price. Overall the store is diverse with a Halal meat section and a new Filipino restaurant inside the store, in addition to being a South Asian supermarket.
It was my birthday, Jugo juice provided the free drink. it was my first time try it. And i don’t know how to use the coupon to redeem my birthday gift. The clerk was very patient and nice to help me. he also recommended me the very nice drink. Love it

Really great time at Boustan! We didn't speak French but found the staff patient and accommodating with our menu questions. My group each had a Mixed Shawarma Bowl, and I had my sauce substituted for their vegan sauce (love that there's an option that is still as creamy as the regular version). The beef and chicken were good, slightly on the drier side but very well spiced. The roasted potatoes were fantastic, as was the coleslaw. It was just pickled vegetables, but offered such a light freshness to the bowl! Great price for a filling meal. A couple of us packed leftovers to go. Would highly recommend! They have seating inside, but we saw others enjoying eating on the street level patio too.
This was our first time trying out this establishment the staff were fabulous there is lots of food options plus they have fresh lobster meat ! We had rosemary parm bread with lobster absolutely outstanding a definite must try. We will definitely go back here. Staff awesome caring and helpful made us feel welcome and appreciated. Byfar better then Subway
Is it a requirement to charge a small fortune for barely any toppings? I don't understand why 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks cost 38$ but there is less than 5$ worth of meat in the sandwich my son's ham and cheese barely had cheese on it! So disappointed
Been coming for years. Moved out of the area and they still even after not coming here for over 18 months they still remember our order. Food is always good quality.
Good halal food! Good service! The southwest skillet was delicious and portion size was good. Meatlovers omelette was loaded with bacon, sausage and veggies, just the way we wanted. Orange juice was freshly squeezed and coffee was fresh too. The server also brought Chai when asked to.
I had a pleasant experience eating on this restaurant. The service is topnotch, clean and organized. The steak salad I ordered was prepared above and beyond. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a few meters walk from Somerset-Bridlewood Station. Five stars for me.
I love to go in this location, the ambiance is nice and clean, food is good and excellent customer service. I always order a platters for birthday and picnics. Highly recommended.
It's like a nice and clean version of Henlong but with the floor size of a big Hmart. Everything was organized and not chaotic. Parking was good though my visit was on a weekday afternoon. Convenient location with good shops and food in the same plaza for one stop shop. Happy to find Vietnamese coffee, delicious!
Horrible! I ordered the gyro plate. The lettuce in the salade was like wastes they found in the garbage (witted) even the core of the iceberg lettuce was in it. The fries was cold. The toasted bread had no butter 😩 and cold/hard like a rock. I grew up in park-ex and grew up going to this restaurant. I went back there for the first time in 20 years after moving south and I would NOT recommend anyone to go there. I could complain about flavor and other stuff but I will leave it at this.
5/5 across the board. Cute spot with tasty eats and unique drinks. We got the Lavender White Mocha, Oreo Frappe, BLT bagel, and Cream cheese croffle. Everything tasted great! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is super cute. Highly recommend!
They selll lemon flavoured pastries and desserts. Great place to have coffee and dessert/pastries. Great texture on Blueberry lemon loaf but not a strong lemon taste unless you get the glaze. Person I went with love lemon flavoured things and was disappointed. I like the texture so didn't bother me. The crinkle cookie had a lemon glaze with all bites so that was popular.
My husband and I just came to this delightful coffee shop for the first time today (how have I missed it for so long!?). It is incredibly satisfying to indulge in delectable treats that are obviously made with love. We had the chocolate brownie today (so moist and decadent!) and grabbed some gorgeous cupcakes to go. I had a hot chocolate with oat milk which was well frothed and creamy. Also split a turkey ranch and swiss sandwich full of moist and tender turkey, paired with crunchy lettuce, fresh tomato and swiss cheese, all topped with fresh and soft bread. The decor is modern and cozy, with spacious cafe seating and the entire facility (washroom included) is very clean and upkept. The service was wonderful - really patient and kind! They make cakes here too :) I'm so happy we came and look forward to our next visit.

We had the traditional egg & toast breakfast which was good. Eggs were exactly like we wanted, toasts were well buttered & home made fries tasted good as well.

My favorite go to for healthy smoothies. My ultimate favorites are Mango Magic and Mighty Kale. It's a bit on the pricy side though but I don't mind. What I do mind is the fact that everytime I went there, there seems to be a consistent grumpy cashier 🤔. He was not very helpful with answering questions like me asking about my reward points. I would understand if it just happened once but he always looked like having a bad day everytime.
Top notch Quiznos. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the classic Italian and my wife had a pizza. Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly and professional. Service was speedy without sacrificing quality. I highly recommend this location.
Haven't ordered here In a while. The gyro was dry,and in little tiny bits instead of nice size morsels and some were so hard could not chew. The pita bread was cold and not fresh the tzatziki was nothing to talk about. The fries were luke warm. We literally live 5 mins away. The place is definitely not what it used to be won't be ordering here again.

I stopped coming to the St. James Quizno's, because for the past year, I feel like my meat portion have deminished. I work down the street and love the Quizno sandwiches, but again today, "where's the meat"??? A big mac across the street has more meat, feeling robbed, not worth the $13.

The experience was ok, absolutely not great and not magical. nothing special. The quality is not always consistent, and for a place that prides its self in well thought out sandwiches they make it hard to order them, no I do not want to tell you how to make the sandwich, you know how, ask if I want changes. Typical conversation, after ordering, did you want the meet on it... What about each veg... why are you asking me about every single veg.... Just make the sandwich per the menu description.
