Rocky point park is a great outdoor place to picnic with family. It is equipped with a water park , cake & ice cream store ( although it has long queue later in the day), the boathouse, lengthy pier, and a nice playground for the kids. It is also pet friendly. We had fun here!
Rocky Point Parks' main attraction is the pier and boat launch. There is a spacious parking lot for boat trailers. The launch itself is well maintained and wide enough for multiple water crafts. The pier offers gorgeous mountain views. The park has walking/jogging trails, restrooms,a large playground for children, a swimming pool, and plenty of space for throwing down a blanket. The covered performance stage offers some shade or space to host a family event. Food options include the Boathouse restaurant, Rocky Point Ice Cream, or the little park cantinaJust outside of the park, the Pomo museum might be of interest to those train enthusiasts.

One of our very favourite parks to visit. Going on a rainy evening meant that the park wasn't busy at all but the scenery was still as good at it usually is. Quite surprised at the large numbers of both Canada geese and seagulls for this time of year.

Had an incredible New Year's Eve at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody! The festive atmosphere, dazzling lights, and picturesque waterfront set the perfect stage for celebration. My 6-year-old daughter and wife enjoyed the live entertainment, and we cherished the beautiful moments as we welcomed 2024. The park's amenities and friendly crowd made it a memorable family-friendly experience. Highly recommend for special occasions!
I was with an 80-year-old woman that loves to go to see the water. It was very accessible which we appreciated. The park is well kept. The views were incredible and the drive was also very nice.
It has some trails, there are tables and chairs all around. This park offer you a good option to walk and Destress, chill and let life going. Good for meditation, or walking as couple. There are some days with events and there is a small area to do it. Garbage bins everywhere, this is good. Only 10 minutes from the train station.
Love taking my dog to this dog park. Everyone is very nice and the dogs are friendly. There are even water fountains for the pups.
WARNING: used syringes found littered among the equipment.

The entire playground area was covered in trash, empty beer cans, and cigarettes. The house nearest the playground had several people screaming profanities at each other for the entire visit. This is currently not a safe place for children.

It's a shame- the equipment is in good shape and fun for kids.

The place is really relaxing. The views are spectacular. In the evening, as the pier lights up with LEDs it's more beautiful. Also, rocky point ice cream - A shop just behind the pier sells the most amazing ice cream.
Overall - A great place to visit with family during the weekend. Also, if you are lucky, you might spot some seals alongside the coast.

Wonderful outdoor place for summer and fall. The Community hall attached to the park gives us the opportunity to organize our parties or get togethers of upto 75-80 people. Easy to book the hall from city website and at super cheap rate. Staff was very friendly too

Went to Rocky Point Park last Monday after my 3-hr physio. The weather was perfect for a long walk at the Park. As usual, it's full of people barbecuing with their families and enjoying the place. It's also an excellent place to bring ur fur babies since they have a dog-friendly Park.
Nice open area with a community feel with lots of outdoor activities.

My grandkids love going there. They always make new friends. The play structures keep them busy.

Nice park right off the Route Verte bike trail. More of a break stop than a destination.

We love bringing our dog to play and run in this fenced park. Water fountain available, some shade and places to sit while you watch the puppies frolic. This park is also near restaurants that will accommodate pets on the patio.
Класний дитячий майданчик, рекомендую 👍
Lovely park. The creek/ravine holds a lot of wildlife. There’s nice view points where you don’t even feel like you’re in the city.

Small but great set of equipment for the little one to run around. A note of caution: there was an adult workout class held there ( around 5p.m.) and they took over a bit. Not sure how often it happens but that was a bummer.

Has a dog park
Pretty good day time or morning activity
Great trail regardless the seasons. You may see snow owls, beavers, other birds, squirrel, chipmunks, flowers, berries.

One of my favorite urban hiking locations
Very nice place, you can enjoy walking your dog
Love this park and how close it is to Osborne street! So you can go for a walk and eat pizza after that long long walk :)

Although small, this park has a lot to offer. From a fenced-in dog park to a tennis court to a picnic table. This well utilized green space serves the community very well.
Gorgeous spot to walk and forget your troubles
The trail isn't technically paved, but the city has put down some sort of road crush so that it's walkable whatever you have on your feet. I imagine it's beautiful in the winter time.

If you're feeling adventurous I'd highly recommend stepping off the trail and through the woods.

Wonderful locals with well behaved dogs frequent this fully-enclosed park. There is a dog-friendly water fountain on site and picnic tables for humans to sit.

Great little park. It has shade, a soccer area, benches and 1 picnic table.

The ground is covered in astroturf, making it soft.

The accessibility swing was broken.

Very nice mini-park by the lake. The retaining fence is in disrepair and has been for awhile. This is a potential hazard for young kids!
Update : The fence has been repaired but all except one of the benches have been removed. 😔
This was my first visit there and I will be back for sure. Loved it.

If no one is around it's a great place to sit and ponder. Only a small park about the size of the neighborhood house lots but gives a nice view of the lake
Beautiful park. Nice and long hiking trails. Nice walking especially in the fall. Beautiful autumn leaves. Spectacular nature forest by the Red River. At the end of park a amazing play structure for children all ages. Thank you so much Winnipeg Manitoba for keeping these trailers cleaned and well maintained. A bench to sit and take a rest with my dog. Friendly people. Pleasant atmosphere. Thank you

La première fois tu peux faire beaucoup de chose mais quand sa fait plus de 3 4 fois tu commence à te tanné le truc le plus cool c'est qu il y a une patinoire l'hiver sa c'est vraiment cool
One of the best areas for walking 🚶🏻 trails in Edmonton. The views are great and there are several bridges to walk over. There are no washroom facilities here so keep that in mind. I definitely recommend coming here for for a relaxing stroll 🚶🏻, walk, run 🏃, go at it at your own pace. Keep in mind there are no bikes 🚲 allowed here. The trails are wide, we saw families walking together, even with baby strollers.
It's really special to have this ravine in Edmonton and so close to my house. This ravine has superb walking trails that go on for kilometers along the creek. I have spotted moose and other wildlife here. In the winter you can walk along the creek, ducks on the water in the summer. Trails are wide. It is easy to get lost if you don't pay attention, but it is well used and people will help give you directions. Enjoy this rare escape in the city.
Fun park for kids
Great place to go for a run or a walk. The path is clean, comfortable and scenic also safe.

We were out for a cycle when we found this 'bike route'. So peaceful and the area so beautiful on this bike route that I highly recommend this route as a destination for all cyclists and walkers.
I walked the Churchill Drive Park Trail on May 23, 2021. It was approximately 5.5 km total from one end to the other.

The trail led along a gravel path beside the river which then turned to wood chips after going west under the Osborne Street Bridge. This section was my favourite, as it was more treed and offered nicer views of the river. The trail ended right before reaching BDI and then continued back the same way. There were some gorgeous houses to admire along the walk as well. Really enjoyed this nice city trail!

We are new to Niagara falls and we were looking for a playground near by for the kids. Using Google maps we walked over to this little gem! It's tucked into a little clearing with only 2 ways in or out, making it easier for parents of runners. The equipment is fun and good for multiple ages. The slides have a great feature where the water is able to run off rather than leaving kids with wet pants.
Excellent place to take your dog. Clean and peaceful
Nice choice for the downtown. Parking can be tight.

Nice to look out on the crashing waves with the dog and a hot drink in the winter. Popular for dogs, pull over spot.
Ski trails, fishing, gravel as well as forested walk/bike paths, wide open grass spaces, shady benches under trees, tot lot playground, etc. Fantastic city park!

Park is brand new, plenty of snow for the kids to play in. Everyone social distanced

Sincerely, the upgrades that were done in fall of 2020 are so minimal that it is sad to think that this park now will stay this way forever. It requires, just like Park Forget serious upgrading and try to use the same provider for the structures as Park Carignan-Salieres

Parc qui a été revigoré automne 2020 avec des nouveaux modules de jeux et balançoire. Beau terrain de soccer et terrain de basket en été (patinoires extérieures en hiver)
One of the most accessible and enjoyable walking paths in the Edmonton River valley park system. Don't miss the friendly chickadees along the walk during winter. They will come to your hand if you have some sunflower seeds.

Very nice place. Lots of space and better vision of the lake. This is probably the best lakeshore to go to. Absolutely love it!
Nice neighborhood park for a riverside stroll. Has a nice children's playground at the south end.

Water was very pretty, park was cute. It was cool to see all the buildings across the water. There were like 3 benches to sit on. Most of us sat in our cars and ate dinner, then left.

Lots of bugs, but to expected at this time and season.

Great place for kids, adults & teens. Bring your basketball & shoot hoops on the basketball pad, bring a frisbee or a kite, there's a lot of space to run... no electricity lines to watch out for...the modular has slides, a jungle gym to climb on...even a frog to rock on. All new modular safely nestled in wood chip mulch.
Nice place to visit

This a great off leash Dog Park located in the downtown core of Ottawa. It's not too big so it's easy to keep an eye on your pet. Most people that go are very friendly and true animal lovers. I have never seen any problems (pets or people). My dog goes crazy in the car as soon as he sees the park. You should check it out.
