Food was amazing - great mix of spicy with the garlic sauce and loved how you could choose the spice level. Fries were cooked well and the chicken was juicy. Service was impeccable and couldn’t have felt more welcome.
Best food and great service I would suggest everyone to go there at least once and try their wraps and half /half. Good food for great price and the taste is always the same . Also the management is good the employees treat us like family .

The food came with perfect timing. By the end of all the dishes we were decidedly full and our taste buds were satisfied. These people know what they are about! The service is exceptional, every dish was explained in detail and everything tasted amazing, i just can't express enough how good the food is!

Delicious restaurant! Just wow, the food, the flavouring is out of this world. If it’s your first time, definitely try the tasting menu. It will be worth it! One of the best restaurants in Montreal for sure. The staff is also extremely friendly, enhancing our experience at Damas. Definitely on the pricier side. However, Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

We ordered a Stan for 2 : chicken shawarma with cabbage salad, potatoes and rice. With hummus and garlic sauce.
We ordered to go but everything was still hot when we started eating. Portions are good. Taste is good.
We’d rather the potatoes be salty than have this sweet flavor though.

Everything was excellent, and service was great. The food was extremely delicious and the tasting menu is totally worth it. You must just take into account the price.
Interesting menu to share with friends and family. Very nice setup and great staff. Will go back again. Fat platter quantity was perfect for 4 of us. We were full yet not feeling heavy.
Very good priced, halal place around this area. Their signature bowls are my fav! Tried chicken and beef - they both were good. Tip: go for Harissa sauce if you want to spice up your food.
This is my favourite Boustan. The food is always fresh and tasty. They have an insane drink selection and the customer service is fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
Best garlic sauce and potatoes in the city. Highly recommend upgrading to Saf bread if you get the shwarma wrap. Fast, affordable and tasty.
I always love going to Paramount. The food is absolutely amazing, all cooked fresh in house and delicious. The fresh pita are unmatched. Food is fairly priced, and the portions are big - making it a great deal.

Wish there was an option to give zero rating. They were out of lettuce and are using cabbage instead. When I asked the guy making my wrap that it doesn’t look like lettuce he said it is lettuce but the girl working at the store said it’s cabbage. Please put a message to indicate that we are out of lettuce. Pathetic food and waste of money. 👎
Although restaurant has basic setting, it’s designed around sharing food with family and friends, with few harvest tables and they have outdoor seating. Staff were nice and pleasant, however we were little bit disappointed with food preparation it wasn’t up to par what you would expect, I wish the owner spent more money to have better presentable plates. Food presentation was poor they can do a better job. As for food tease was OK, I was very disappointed with their Falafel it was hard ball from outside, as a person who loves Falafel, it should crispy outside and soft inside and melt in your mouth. Also, their shawarma was below standard and not authentic, it’s seems they just use hot grill plate rather that traditional method. However their rotisserie chicken was good and juicy. As for price it’s rather high for what you get.

Les Saj on Portage is such a cute place and definitely a neighbourhood gem. The staff was lovely, especially the guy at POS. He made sure we got our student discount. He was very patient with us and helped us make a decision on what to order. The food was delicious and very consistent in flavour. Would definitely come there again!!

Great experience! Even though they closed at 10pm, they kept open for us and served with great energy and passion for the restaurant! The food was amazing and presented so beautifully! Really recommend the platter to try three different dips with pita!

The staff and service are exceptional. There are two staff members that stood out specifically, I don’t know their names, but they wear glasses. They literally always deliver the best quality food every time I order, which is why I continue to come back. If I could give this business 10 stars, I would. Thanks for being so consistent always guys!!

Went to eat at Sahara about 1 year ago and been wanting to go back since, we finally came back and the food was just as phenomenal as I remembered. I’m looking forward to our next visit
Living in NYC i dined at many great restaurants. This is my top 5 best dining experience ever. The food was amazing. Service was great. Decor was very nice. My wife and i left extremely satisfied. The only knock if i had too pick is that the prices are extremely high. Will definitely be back when im in Montreal
Chicken shawarma plates were good. Their potatoes in particular are some of the best I’ve had. The chicken portion was light in comparison to other shawarma spots in town, which was my only criticism. The taste and portions of my sides made up for that.
Not a place I would regularly go to, but it is worth a visit. Portions are on the larger side, and were generally on the tasty side. Service was good, the patio was rustic and suited me. The falafel were a hit. I would recommend it if you want a new experience.

I ordered a greek salad which turned out to be Fatoush topped with fetta cheese instead of bread. I didnt like that. I mean you cant have sumac on a Greek salad! I also ordered garlic potatoes which also weren’t your usual garlic potatoes. Rather wedges withe the white toum sauce and also sumac! For authenticity, I wouldn’t really recommend. But then again maybe they want their own take on things.

The servers were Amazing and great and the orders came relatively fast. The place started picking up after 8:30 PM and its pretty spacious. The atmosphere was also good

Shawarma here is super delicious and the fact that comes with some fries is a plus. Alao really enjoyed the Lentil Soup. Will visit again.
The garlic sauce is really really good with everything. I got the standard sized mixed (beef & chicken) bowl and it’s so delicious - the portion is big enough for 2 people as a post-concert meal at midnight. Probably the best shawarma I’ve ever had, the tabouleh and potatoes were exceptional and the meat was properly seasoned. Wish I was in Montreal longer so I could eat more 😅

I had a fantastic experience during my lunch visit here. The bread was freshly made, hot, and puffy, which paired perfectly with the delicious hummus. The food and customer service were beyond amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend this place. A special thanks to our table attendant, Nida, she was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Chicken fajita sandwich was soul melting. The cheese, bread, and chicken were all well done. Powerhouse platter was great as well- big enough for two if you’re not toooo hungry.

This review is regarding the owner and the management, NOT the staff. I came here to realize that these workers are being forced to smile. Also if they don’t then anyone can just complain that they didn’t smile with no hard proof evidence. The most exploitative management I’ve ever seen and heard. These people work hard in this country to be deceived by these greedy owners. These insane standards being used because they don’t know their rights. I will report this to the ministry of labour.

Simran and Raj were very nice and good workers that made my order perfect and it had just amount of sauces to complete the tasty chicken. It was not dry at all. Very good and will come back here again if I see them making my order.

This place is for people who don’t know what middle eastern/Mediterranean food is. We had the Lil Salatim and fried crushed potatoes. The dips tasted store bought, the falafel were flavourless with no seasoning whatsoever felt like I was biting into a green ball of grease, and the pita was too thick for our liking. I don’t know how they cook their potatoes but they were also a disaster both in terms of look and taste - super soggy. Would’ve preferred if they were more true to their Mediterranean/Jewish taste but I was disappointed.

I must say this is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Edmonton or even Alberta. They start you off with humus and freshly baked bread from the oven (both complimentary). They have a large menu but i think their lamb chops were among the top rated. Their beef kababs with good and seasoned potatoes were quite different with unique Arabian flavour. I am not a fan of chicken overall but chicken skewers were decent.
Always satisfied with the service and the food that i come all the way from Saskatoon to here. One of the best if not the best place to eat in Edmonton. So much food and very good price.
10/10 recommend you come here! We enjoyed a delicious lunch, served with soup to start! The chicken shawarma is a generous serving of deliciousness. I highly recommend asking for the Arabic tea! Andrew was an excellent server, who was the nicest and added a personal and fun experience to our meal!
I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap from DoorDash since it was highly rated, however once I got it and took my first bite, I regretted it. The taste is not good, there was absolutely no garlic sauce or any sauce, the wrap tasted so dry and had such a off putting taste to the chicken. I really used to enjoy Pita Land, but after this experience I will never be ordered from here again.
I order through Uber. I ordered the beef shawarma. They mixed with chicken and I had just a little of beef at the beginning but the rest is chicken.please if I paid for the extra dollar for beef I would like to get exactly for what I paid for!!!
Never a bad meal here & feeling so lucky we could slip in without a reservation (so, yeah reservations are a good idea here). Very good food. Our biggest dilemma was decided whether to go hard on the dips or save room for the entrees. The cauliflower called our name. Highly recommend this spot and bring your friends!
I don’t normally leave reviews and use to love coming here but today was not one of those days. They do not even have shawarma durning lunch as indicated by staff. Just chicken on a grill which I had to find out after. Ordered and paid for a beed platter. They then tried giving me beef kabob. Asked for a refund as that is not what I ordered and said they don’t do refunds. What happened to shawarma Kahn? Sadly will be looking for a new place.

While preparing food they were touching the iPad for skip the dishes on the food preparation table and didn't change their gloves. They were going back and forth touching wraps and making food and passing the tablet around without washing or sanitizing the area. Pretty gross.
An average place to have hookah and food. Atmosphere was not all perfect for hookah night. Sitting arrangements and music were not up to the standards. We ordered fries they were really good. Service for coal change was not good. We ordered 3 hookahs and only 1 flavour was really good it was mazaj love. Rest were pathetic. Also they don’t have much flavour as other shisha bars have. Check other options not worth time and money.
I have been going to Paramount for several years now and i can definitely say for a fact that the food has gotten better recently. I dont know if they changed their cook, but whatever it is they did, food is delicious. The atmosphere and the music top it all off amazingly. Service was quick. I didnt wait too long for my food or drinks. Polite staff, family friendly. 5 stars, would definitely recommend going there for my next family outing.
Usually Boustan is great. But not THIS Boustan. We ordered for four people, basic mix shawarma plates, and they found a way to not do it right, to not follow clear written instructions and to not include PAID extras. Plus, default items like hummus and garlic sauce didn't make it to our order. Plus plus, amounts of chicken and meat were like amount for a kid menu, comparing to the amount we get usually in other Boustans.

Decent not going to blow you away but it's good. Gone back and the chicken was undercooked. They were nice enough to remake it, but I still had undercooked chicken in my mouth. They had also burnt something recently so the entire inside of the building was full of smoke.
It was my first time at fat pasha and it exceeded all expectations! We got the fat salatim platter and everything was delicious, the cocktails were great too. I was most impressed with the service here. The host and servers were amazing and super helpful. We also loved the vibe of the outdoor patio. 5/5 Great place!!
I love this place. The ppl who work here are super friendly and food is always fresh. The Mixed Grill platter has to be one of the best values out there right now. These guys packed the boxes.

My second time here and it was just as amazing as my first time. We decided to order only appetizers tonight and all were amazing thanks to the awesome recommendations of our waiter. If it's your first time, I highly recommend trying the tasting menu....bring your appetite!! Fantastic ambience and amazing service. Enjoy!!

I placed an order just few minutes back. I am not sure who was the associate, he was extremely rude and put me on hold for like 10 minutes to attend other customers. Wow! What an answer!! lazeez shawarma, you have people like that, i am not gonna order from this place again ever!! Instead of helping me, he shouted that give me the order.

We ordered 2 wraps, one veg and one chicken…honestly, this was the first time I doubt a wrap to be taste like this. No taste at all, no pickles, no perfect sauces, nothing..they just wrap the chicken pieces and falafel balls in the wraps with a few lettuce and tomatoes, that’s it.. thankfully didn’t try much from this place..
I recently dined at Les Saj, a Middle Eastern restaurant in Winnipeg, and it was a great experience. It is located a 2-minute walk from The University of Winnipeg. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes. We ordered chicken shawarma, falafels, and a chicken rice bowl. Each dish had a rich flavor and tasted delicious. They also have barbican sodas which are amazing! Additionally, we met the owners, who were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The service was excellent, and the staff ensured that we had everything we needed. I totally recommend Les Saj to anyone in search of delicious Middle Eastern cuisine!

I don’t usually get it from this location but the location on jane is way better. The portions here are always a bit smaller and I don’t understand why. Lettuce portion is always so small. It’s not disappointing.
Glad that I finally found a place here in Winnipeg that makes the style of shawarma that I've been looking for. Tried several places that makes different regional variations (Levantine, Turkish, Persian, etc) but the taste and simplicity of the their Arabic Shawarma just hits different - as good, if not better than the ones I had years ago in Saudi Arabia

I placed a group order on Uber eats and we got no sauce and they forgot a plate, also the bags had nothing written on them so we don’t know if the delivery forgot a bag or the restaurant forgot all the sauces and I mean all of them. Rice and chicken was dry without sauce. Also the plates were not identified and we had to guess which pita was for everyone… really annoying.
So I finally was able to try this place after being recommended so many times by my barber Alex, first thing to talk about is the restaurant, the restaurant is so beautiful and I love the entrance fountain is very unique and fancy, I was there around 8 so it wasn't so busy, I first ordered the three type of hummus and the cauliflower bite things, they were ok not so amazing and I found it to be way to flavourful and couldn't really taste the other stuff, then I ordered the beef platter which was ok, I find it to have waaaay to much rice and barely any meat and some of the meat was very over cooked. The service was probably the most downside of things, the service was really bad it took forever to order our food and we never got our drinks topped off or asked if we needed anything else to drink. Over all it was an ok expirence, for the drive is not worth it just yet.
Manager at night is NEW and extremely rude and aggressive. And the company is suffering.
I suggest the owner Abdul Allah look in to this and see how this new manager is behaving with clients and customers it is certainly not professional and setting a bad image for Mazaj because this place was a good place to have a good time but not with this new management

I wish there was a rating below zero that I could give to this place. I am from Milton and happens to be in the area. I ordered on the Rock with Fries, no rice. When I arrived home and opened it with was with rice.. when I specifically told them with fries no rice. I called them that they screwed up my order both the cashier and store manager were rude and keep talking over me. He said to bring back will change it. When my daughter took back as he promised to fix it he said to her buy a new one!!! Instead of fixing it. Terrible customer service. Stay away from this place. I made a mistake not going to Shawarma Royal, it is much cleaner, fresh and has the best customer service. Stay away!!!
Not impressed with the food quality at this Basha location. Rice and potatoes wasn’t fresh and smelled bad. If you go end of the day, they will give you rice and potatoes from the back freeze. Suggestion, Don’t take a food from back freeze. Only take what’s available in the front.
I love Les saj!! I always come here for lunch in between classes! Staff are so kind. I always get the chicken rice bowl with extra garlic sauce and spicy sauce. Best food and best staff. The perfect combination. I will always recommended Les saj to anybody!! This is my favourite restaurant of all time and that says a lot!
I told them no pickles in the 2 falafel wraps I ordered the guy on the phone even confirmed twice that it is only pickles that I dont want. They ended up putting pickles in both and when my partner ate and had allergic reactions, I called them to complain and the guy is like he didn't hear properly. The service is very disappointing.
This was hands down the BEST restaurant experience I have had in a while. My Kid and I wanted to try a new place and came across Sahara Palace. From the moment we walked in the door we were taken by the calm, cool atmosphere, and the warm welcome and hospitality we received from Andrew.
We choose the set meal at $45/person as it seemed like a great way to try a bit of everything. We weren't wrong. From start to finish every dish was not only delicious, but a beautiful work of art. Simply stunning!
For those thinking the price point is high, NOPE! The quality was top notch and there was so much food! We had to stop eating and box up food to take home to save room for dessert!

Seriously incredible! Andrew (our host) is super personable and friendly, portions are massive, and O. M. G. the food is all so beautiful and absolutely FULL of flavour! We got the Set meal so we got to try a variety of items and despite how full we were we couldn't help but order some baklava anyway! 100% from me, definitely coming here over and over!

One of the best Lebanese food I have tried. Their freshly baked bread was just awesome. The food was delicious and so were their drinks. Must try PARAMOUNT SPECIAL in drinks session. The Desert was fresh and amazing. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is that we came to enjoy the food and they were looking to get us out of the restaurant as quickly as possible. I can understand that the restaurant closes at 9 PM we were also looking to get out by 9 PM but one should not look to get their customers to finish their food quickly so that they can close their restaurant. In every restaurant that I have been to, they patiently wait for their customer to finish the food, the only thing they would do is inform the customer that the kitchen is about to close. Also, there was a chef/Owner of a restaurant along with me and he said, if this was in his restaurant he would have had many calls by morning. The second reason is that the manager nor the person who was waiting at our table did not have any idea about the desert. When I asked the difference, he could not explain. Even when we asked the manager he could not explain. However keeping all this aside, I would still go and again and would recommend others to go as the food is just amazing. Maybe our timing was bad. Hopefully, we will have a better time in the future.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the friendly staff who were eager to assist me.The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting and I had the pleasure of dining with a person named sakshi and I have to say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time , she was an excellent host . The food was fantastic , each dish was cooked to perfection........thank you.

The reviews on here must be from family or friends of the owners 😂😂😂 I gave the benefit of the doubt, but we've ordered three times now from there and have been very disappointed and felt very cheated.
We paid 19.50$+tx per plate for a mix chicken shawarma platter and it was a joke. I wouldn't even serve the tiny quantity of dry, small shards of meat to my dog. So basically you're paying almost 20$ plus tax for rice and potatoes and they even go cheap on the hummus and garlic sauce - like c'mon those are such cheap elements.Everything just slapped into a container carelessly and a pita on top of it all to get nice and soggy. I get the price of everything has gone up, but this is ridiculous. Never again.
P.S. the owner wrote here asking me to e-mail the store as if they would do something to make it right. I immediately e-mailed them and have not heard back months later. Just so people know that this comment from Boustan is just for show ;)

I recently dined at Sahara in Edmonton and was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The decor was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The menu had a great variety of options and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the beef shawarma wrap and the baklava for dessert. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. Food was so good I didn't take pictures haha. I highly recommend Sahara to anyone looking for a great meal in Edmonton. Five stars all around!
Food is good no doubt. But the restaurant need to be clean. There is a smell inside. Also, the liquid they use to clean the tables smells terrible. Should be spending some money on cleaning the tables and floors.
The only place open during tonight’s historic snowstorm! And sooo so glad I found it and tried their gigantic falafel (8 balls) wrap. Loaded to the max with like 5 sauces (hummus, tzatziki, chili, garlic, tahini) and every topping imaginable 😋 super friendly guy behind the counter as well and fast service! My usual go to spot was Mr Zagros but I’m definitely switching to Pita Land. Must try their shawarma next … it looked so juicy and yummy turning on the rotisserie behind the counter 🤤🤤🤤
We ordered ahead for take-out and had placed the order for a Family Platter, Chicken Wings & Manakeesh. The family platter is pretty huge, with lots of meat variety in it. It's good enough for 6 - 7 average diet people. We'd ordered 20 wings in 2 different flavours (Hot BBQ & Cajun), which both tasted nice. Also their Manakeesh (Cheese & Zaater) were great in taste as well as very soft & tasteful. But the Chicken Shawarma (which was part of the family platter) was very dry and a little hard, like it wasn't fresh.
The service was good & staff was very friendly. The place is basically is a Shisha Lounge and not a restaurant per say, hence the atmosphere was accordingly filled with smoke. So it's not a good place for families with kids.
However, their food is nice with good portion sizes and very reasonable prices.
During our visit, because the order was big so some of the items got missed and when we called the restaurant, the staff apologised and requested to come back and they'll make it up for us. So we visited again and the owner took care of us and was very courteous.
All in all, a good place to hang out and have nice Middle Eastern Halal food. 👍🏼

One of my favourite places to get shawarma, my absolute favourite is their chicken plate! They’re delicious and always so consistent with their flavour. Decent places and they have the option of adding extra chicken.
Pita bread with beef and chicken, Appreciated it! A suggestion is to add a bit more of spice like black pepper in the meat would taste even better ;)
they charged me for a plate on uber for 18$ and i ended up with just a sandwich and a baklava. they are scammers who are after peoples money they do not deserve this forced one star review
Go-to late night stop for a big appetite. Staff working front of house, as well as a few in the back completing mobile orders. Line up clears fast. Don't expect big smiles and 'friendly' customer service. It's all in the food and factory like speed. Huge portions. Bilingual menu and staff.

Ordered catering from here for an event I was hosting. I chose their option 1 @ 10$/person. That got everyone a shawarma and a large helping of garlic roasted potatoes. It was tasty and the service was fast and friendly. Thomas made ordering a breeze and I felt confident in my order. Will definitely order again.
I have ordered from this location many times and always at the same times, about 1pm and or 8pm. Never really had a problem with anything except the delivery time is always about 45 minutes. This evening I called to place and order, the man answers as if I had done the world a great injustice by disturbing him and when I ask if I can place an order for delivery he simply says "no" and hung up on me...
If you're hungry and want to pay for over priced garlic potatoes but don't want them to be delivered too quickly so that they are cold when you get them and deal very rude men that don't understand French or English when placing and order (if you get that far into the conversation with them) then this is the best option for you!

Fantastic. From pickled cucumbers multiple options on hot peppers. Hummus and garlic spread to a great pita(thin so it doesn't overpower a bread taste in comparison to the sandwich tastes). Then the sides were the bonus. The beets and green apple salad was amazing. Highly recommend this place.
It’s a typical Middle East flavour restaurant, you get all kinds of shawarma wraps like beef, chicken and falafeel. You can definitely fulfill your hunger as they serve big portions. I was not very happy with the taste as I have tried shawarma before and it was amazing.
