I had the absolute worst experience at Lazeez Shawarma. Their chicken was as dry as a desert, and their portions were shockingly inadequate. To make matters worse, it was freezing outside, and when I politely asked the OWNER to close the door because I had my baby daughter with me, the owner was incredibly rude and dismissive. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Came here with some friends yesterday and I’m glad I found this spot! Prices are excellent, quantity is great and the taste is phenomenal as well! It’s in a very good location of Mississauga as well and the staff were very nice! I recommend this place to everyone!

Reminds me of the first location. I still can't forget that amazing popular shawarma. Super authentic. I have tried many Lazeez locations but this is the one in GTA which felt very close and authentic to the original Lazeez. No matter how many fake AI reviews I see. I WILL keep visiting this location if I feel like going for shawarma. Decent prices, you don't get a good fulfilling meal under 15$ anymore, except here. Always go for authenticity, and don't fall for fake stores nearby that open only for money. Choose the ones who show love for food. Very generous in sauces and portions.
The owner was incredibly friendly! Like 10/10. Great service and super accommodating. Got the chicken shawarma wrap, and it tasted fresh and juicy. The hotsauce is 💯👌 Highly recommend this place!
What can I say, the shawarma was amazing. Cooked to perfection, juicy and great portion size. I had chicken platter with rice, salad and hummus. The service was great and the staff was very Friendly and provided quick service. I would definitely recommend this place for shawarma.
Last October, with a cool breeze marking the arrival of fall, I found myself at Asli Shawarma on Eglinton in Erin Mills, Mississauga, aiming to savor what the local shawarma scene had to offer. The establishment had a modest yet welcoming aura, with the aroma of grilled meats wafting through the air as I entered.I decided to go for the chicken shawarma wrap, a staple choice for a Shawarma Day enthusiast like myself. The staff was cordial, taking my order with a smile, and the wait wasn't long before I had the wrap in my hands. At first glance, the wrap looked inviting with a good amount of filling and a well-toasted exterior.As I took my first bite, the freshness of the veggies and the warm, tender chicken were evident. However, I found the seasoning to be a bit on the lighter side, lacking that punch of spices I yearned for. The garlic sauce, although creamy and rich, could have used a tad more garlic punch to elevate the flavor profile.The wrap was well-structured, holding together till the last bite, which I appreciated. The portion size was fair for the price, but the overall flavor profile 👌
Alex is the kind, hardworking owner. He always makes me feel welcome every time I come to eat. The food is fresh and made with love. The falafel is amazing and the hot sauce is his specialty! Absolutely delicious every single time. You gotta check out this place!!
This is a Decent restaurant. I had the shawarma salad here and I felt like the shawarma was a bit pricey compared to other options. The quality was also pretty decent, as the salad was a basic garden salad (and I had asked for taboulie). The chicken itself isn't white meat, however it is marinated well as to increase the flavors. I probably wouldn't come here again, but maybe their wraps are better
Stopped in for a late bite, just stumbled across this place while looking for food. Ended up coming back shortly after for more. The beef shawarma was so good we got a second beef and a chicken shawarma to try. All excellent, can’t recommend the food enough.
Really good food; I got the beef king wrap and it was so good, big portions, and taste is of quality as well. Very nice outdoor sitting area which is such a nice vibe for warm weather, and overall had a really nice aesthetic on the inside as well. Definitely recommend

This is a very small restaurant but the food is amazing. Had chicken on z rice and the rice was very fragrant and the sauce was amazing. The chef is really nice and he gave us free lollipops.
Our family of 5 came here for lunch and we ordered the mixed family platter. The food was so delicious and fresh and the portion sizes were very generous! We loved all the different dips and pickled vegetables and the bread was warm and fresh! Our server was very friendly and came to check on us multiple times and refill our hot water for the tea. We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back again!
Very disappointed. Firstly, upon my arrival I was ignored as they were too busy playing with their computer. I then placed my order and saw him grab fries from the fry basket that had been previously cooked. I asked if the fries were hot and I was told yes. They were not hot in fact, they weren't even warm. I don't believe I'll be coming back to this restaurant again.

I decided to check out Zay Zaman because of the reviews on their falafels. I was definitely not disappointed with their Falafel wrap. My partner enjoyed the cheese manakeesh. She appreciated the nice amount of cheese and the freshness. The owners were very friendly and gave us good service. We are so delighted to have found this place and recommend it highly. Looking forward to being back for another taste.
Arguably, one of the best shawarma spots in Sauga! I had a regular chicken shawarma on rice plate with a side of fries and garlic. Taste is exquisite and the portions are mighty generous. Staff is very friendly and inviting. Everything is priced reasonably and they have many deals for couples or groups.

Horrible. I just placed an order through skip the dishes. The bread doesn’t taste good. The sandwich is extremely dry I added tahini sauce for toppings and I can’t see anything. I’m not sure how to eat this. Just so bad. The picture says it all. Disgusting.

The food is to die for. Amazing taste, for sometime I felt I am actually sitting in some Arab / Middle Eastern country. No difference in the food taste compared to what I used to have in Dubai or Saudi. The ambiance is nice and I love the way you guys have decorated the interior. I gave 3 stars for service because, it took some time to get the staff’s attention as we were seated in a corner, but I assume it was neglect-able because you guys were packed. I am definitely coming back soon.
Lazeez Shawarma blew my mind! The portions were huge! I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Platter, which includes Lentil Rice, Salad, and Potatoes, and it was really enough for two people! But I was a hungry man, and I appreciated such a wholesome and satisfying lunch! 😊 The tastes and flavours were unique for shawarma, but when everything was mixed with the salad, it tasted quite good. If I return to the area then I will return to Lazeez Shawarma for another meal. I would bring my family and friends here. Great value, and a satisfying meal.
Got this via a Buy One Get One Free special on Uber Eats. Two of these were lamb and beef wraps while the other two were Falafel wraps. The price was extremely fair for the amount of food you get. Good amount of fries on top of the big wrap with salad and tahini sauce. The Lamb and Beef wrap was tender and juicy while offered great flavour. I’m not the biggest fan of Falafel in general and have never really enjoyed it but surprisingly this one was ok, I didn’t mind the taste and flavour at all which is a job well done in my book. Overall if you are looking for wraps with above average taste and on a budget, this is a solid place to go to/order from. Will order again.
I went today and ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich. The service was very fast. My order was taken in less than 5 minutes. The sandwich was warm on the outside and the food on the inside was very cold and tasted bad, as if it had been prepared a long time ago. I will not come back again.
I came here on a saturday and the place was busy, however that did not effect the quality of food. Very nice staff, the owner gave me a beef shawarma cut while I was waiting. I got a chicken and beef shawarma and they were both perfect, in terms of portions, taste and price.
The owner uncle is super kind and friendly, went out of his way to take care of my group of friends and I! The food was great, especially the saj chicken wrap, I loved the pomegranate molasses. Definitely give it a try!
If you are looking for the perfect Middle Eastern Schwarma place look no further. I have been looking for two years and finally found a great spot. I have been all over KW and this is by far the best, flavourful, they use traditional Saj, they have the right sauces.

Thank you Shawerma Plus for catering my daughter's 3rd birthday! I couldn't have asked for better service! I was stressed out because the birthday was planned last minute and I wasn't sure what or how much to feed the parents. I reached out to Jawad and he instantly put me at ease and said he will take care of everything for me! He asked for 30min and then he called me back with a full menu at an extremely reasonable price! The honesty is what made this experience the most special because I actually asked for more sandwiches and he recommended that I didn't need them! Thank you so much and I can't wait to use your services again!

Authentic flavors of mid east and great quality at reasonable prices. Wonderful staff and great service. They run the show as it supposed to run. Usually a busy restaurant. We loved the food and it’s a great experience to be there. We tried fewer dishes and it was fresh and newly prepared ingredients. Happy tummy yummy! Great job.
There are a lot of lazeez franchises all over the gta, and I personally go out of my way drive 25 mins to have my food made by this location & not only the food is fresh but the customer service is exponentially good. Beyond expectation !

I absolutely love it everything about this store. The food, the staff, atmosphere etc. That first bite of the food told me everything I need to know about how my meal will go! I was with 2 other people and they agreed as well. The menu was very simple to understand and the staff helped me with anything I didn't understand. The staff was so sweet to us they not only gave us a free falafel plate (that was delicious btw, like a taste of home ♥️) but also a free barbican drink!! Overall 20/10 everything! Would definitely recommend you visit them for a great shawarma experience.
Loved the food! The garlic sauce was the highlight. I recommend getting the plates as they come with fries/rice. Wraps are huge and make a good meal too. Next time I’m gonna get the dip sampler.

The place is good as it's open late at night. The food was not the best. I think this place is good for Shisha, not for food.

This branch has the worst fries I've ever eaten. Tasteless and bland.. the hospital gave me better fries. Also the food tastes different based on who is making it. If you're lucky you may get a girl who makes it really good, or you may get someone who doesn't know how to make a wrap and is extremely greedy with the toppings and sauce. I had a falafel sandwich and it was so so dry. Barely had any lettuce or sauce. I used to love going here but I think from now on I'll avoid it.

The value is good considering the super size is a giant. I didn’t get hot sauce on my shawarma but the owner Alex, later convinced me to add some to my shawarma. Great spot in Kitchener for a sit down middle eastern / Palestinian shawarma or mashawi meal. The fresh hot and puffy bread is delicious with their Mtabal or humus. We also had the lentil soup, chicken and been wraps and we enjoyed it all. The portions are huge and perfect for sharing in that respect price is decent if you factor the sharing.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was a Sunday afternoon, and despite being the second customer, the worker seemed preoccupied with a personal call while taking my order. I ordered a falafel wrap with medium spiciness, but it turned out to be super duper spicy, making it inedible. Moreover, the falafel itself tasted tangy and seemed to have gone bad.
Unfortunately, I couldn't return or get a refund as I was in a hurry. I won't be revisiting this restaurant and cannot recommend it to others either.

Lazeez is a shawarma place that I wish I had never visited. My experience was so bad that I had to give it 1 star. Everything from the wet, drenched meat, to the non-traditional toppings added to the shawarma stack, made me regret ever entering Lazeez.

A great middle eastern restaurant with some great food options, including kebabs , hummus , pies and much more. We enjoyed our time here and tried a lot of different things. We were here on a weekday for dinner around 7pm and easily got a table. Lots of parking in the plaza. Great place to have a nice dinner/lunch with your family and friends.

Amazing shawarma, amazing pizza, the owner is a real chef trained in Milano Italy! Really nice guy and great service. Hidden little gem, go here you won't be disappointed.
One of the best shawarma spots I have ever been to and also very clean restaurant. This is a real gem any time I’m in the area this is the only place I come to eat. Need to try everything on the menu including the pizza but my go to is the dinner. Great friendly owner who always takes care of you aswell he is a real chef aswell !

Excellent food, staff and atmosphere, we ordered our go to the Large shawarma Family platter and it tasted very good, they also offer complimentary tea on the side which is something nice to finish off, the washrooms are very nice with nostalgic and iconic cartoon references in it.

Ordered shawarma pizza based on previous reviews and advertised image. Image advertised on their website did not match what was delivered. As to quality, it was a cheese pizza with a few pieces of shawarma chicken . If you're looking for good shawarma pizza, I suggest to go else where.

I have been to Zay Zaman multiple times and have never been let down by the quality of the service or the food. The food is fresh and prepared carefully each time. The service is genuine and friendly. It is a pleasure coming to support the restaurant and a pleasure to eat here as well. The portions are excellent and it is the best shawarma I have had in and outside KW.
I ordered 4 chicken Shawarma wraps today and 1 had a whole bunch of tomatoes 8-10 slices (photo attached) & very less chicken. I noticed the quality is getting poor day by day. When u order chicken wrap it should have good quantity of chicken & not whole bunch of tomatoes & salad leaves. Very very disappointed.

I came on last Tuesday and they were have a new Item with daily special two Lunch boxes $ 19.99 really it was nice options comes with it. The chicken and Beef were juicy and delicious also their Falafel wraps and on the rocks.

Best shawarma in the Guelph / Kitchener area! Drove 30mins to try it and was so worth it!! The servers are so friendly and helpful. The pita is fresh and delicious. Everything was so so yummy. Really great experience, will definitely be back!

My experience was absolutely garbage. I ordered 2 poutines but I got 2 POOtines. Chicken was missing and they gave us crusty musty dusty cheese curds. Fries were way overcooked and instead of gravy they gave us a garlic and BBQ sauce soup. The food looked like it came out of a clogged sink. Stay away from this place!!! Sorry, the food was good but my girlfriend chocked on a chicken bone from a shawarma wrap. And I didn’t receive my fries which I payed for. All around not to good. Love for you to make it up to me.

Whole restaurant was smelling so bad. Customer service was worst and food was tasteless I recommend not to go there because of the reviews on google they even tried to charge us for extra water which we didn’t order so we have to wait for 10 min because they want to make sure what we ordered and plus they even charged us extra money because we didn’t ate food which we left all food and shisha was bad too where we have to change pip because smoke was not coming properly but they don’t do anything.

Myself and a girlfriend were hunting for a sheesha place at 2 pm. We are not addicts, just looking to catch up after a long time. The only place we found in the Mississauga area was Cafe sheesha.
Over all the place needs a reno, it looks and feels a bit dated. But they do offer 3 separate seating areas. The outdoor and lounge area are much nicer and comfortable with a nice ambience as well.
Their music was stop and go. It would stop for a while and then start playing really loud. Hopefully it was just that day.
The food was good overall, the meat tasted a little dry and the dessert was not fresh and served 80% frozen. Not what you want at a restaurant. That is why I gave the food a 3*. Also they don't serve tap water or so I was told.
We ordered the blue mist sheesha. It was good, not the best I have had at other places. They were very good with replacing the coal.

Great and underrated shawarma place in Kitchener. Their wraps are toasted well, they have parsley in their list of toppings (which is generally a big miss in the area!) and they put fries into your wrap and if you ask them. Check it out!

One of the best shawarma plates I've eaten. Place is clean and welcoming playing music. Staff are friendly and working as a unit. Got a Mixed club plate and a Lamb Wrap. Absolutely delicious. Hot and fresh. I can taste what I'm eating. Plate comes with pickled, turnips, sliced carrot and cucumber, crispy fries and diced shawarma with mixed meats. Comes with choices of hot sauce, pomegranate sauce, and garlic sauce. So good! Got me order in 10 minutes. Not bad! Will come back.

Not bad but could use some improvements on a few small things such as the chicken, it should be sliced thinly instead of chunks (at least it’s not dry though). Coleslaw just tastes like nothing, no flavour at all. Shawarma plate use to have more finesse, the thin slices on top of your plate, fresh fries, etc.
I put the 3 stars for the food and hookah both was very good but why i didn’t put the 2 more stars for two reasons:-
- The workers are good but they need some training of ( services & hospitality), i ask them to bring empty dishes and spoons and forks because they bring the food only
- The restaurant need some deep cleaning and more organizing , the windows and doors was dirty, the outdoor area need more clean

This place is very crowded but for a very good reason. The options given are very unique and greatly executed. The best middle Eastern restaurant I have ever had in canada. The food is very well presented and all has a strong punch of flavor. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a nice middle Eastern place. Some food even has inspiration taken from other cultures. The only problem you could ever encounter here is the waiting area. Most weekends the place is packed so you will have to wait approximately 5-10 minutes to get a table. Over all a 10/10 experience especially during their fun events like the Christmas and summer ones. Most of the bad reviews are very unfair to this place or are really old and from what I've noticed the restaurant learns from all its mistakes as it is fairly new ( 2019 - 2020 from memory ) . I hope anyone who reads this review will have as nice of an experience as me and my family did 👍

Almost got charged 9.06 for a SMALL on the rocks. Didn’t believe I was a student, and this happened like 3 times in the last month, and 2 of those times was by the same person. Ordered a lentil rice, given regular rice. And the rice is hard too. This location used to be good, but I’m not going to spend 5 dollars on hard rice layered with a couple pieces of chicken and garlic sauce.

Whenever I go grocery shopping over at Ammar’s or get a haircut at Othman’s, I look forward to a shawarma at Zay Zaman’s. It’s a real treat, a snack cum meal, a good fill. The Middle East’s answer to fast food is not only flavourful, but healthy as well and oh do the good people over at Zaman do it so well.
Having indulged in shawarmas in many a restaurant in the Middle East and a few here in Kitchener, Toronto and Winnipeg, I’ve come to appreciate the experience and effort that is a Zaman shawarma. I love it that the always fresh pita bread is dabbed generously with a touch of lemon infused garlic sauce, a healthy helping of pickles and then a veritable smorgasbord of healthy fixings to choose from before the crispy chicken is shaved per order off the rotisserie spit. Copious amounts of the shaved chicken are then placed in the pita pockets. After that, for added taste Yussef gave my shawarmas a brush up against behind the spit along the heat and then on the grill for good measure for a few minutes. This process turns out a great mouthwatering delicious zesty full on chicken shawarma wrap.
To literally wrap up, you get great bang for your buck at Zaman’s where you’ll get the true taste you are supposed to experience. We keep coming back for more. Irrestible!!!

Amazing food, asked them to make the half and half with extra garlic sauce and it was mind-blowing. Best Lazeez branch I have tried so far. The staff are also amazing and have lots of energy. Keep up the good food and work.
I went to Alfawal with some friends. The place has a rustic and classic touch on its decoration, and it’s a pleasant place to be as long as you don’t mind the shisha smoke. I ordered black tea, chicken fatteh dip and a saj chicken shawarma. Both we’re good, but not remarkable. I personally wouldn’t come back for the food as it’s just good, but the tea and staff are excellent.
First visit to ALFAWL. Very impressed with the customer service. Basically, two young youth, a young lady and a young man who catered to every request with a smile. We had foul, falafel and fatoush as appetizers. The sauce for the fatoush was spectacular, I believe it was pomegranade sour sauce. I had the kofta platter and my wife had the chicken shawerma platter. Both were delicious. Garlic sauce was amazing. We ended our meal with a fine kenafa with cheese and ice cream. It was well done, right out of the oven. The staff were very attentive and super polite. We are sure coming back!!!
Tasty shawarma, I used to get the chicken shawarma wrap for a long time and the large one is always big enough for two!! Today I tried the ON-Rice shawarma with all sauces on top and would definitely be coming back for it!! Alex is also very friendly and welcoming ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The servers have put reserved tags on the outdoor seatings so they keep them for their close/VIP customers.

The face at the door wasn't welcoming, the service wasn't bad. I was there for ful/fool the traditional fava beans dish (I believe), was disappointed by the taste and how it looks since a whole lot of chickpeas were added there. Atmosphere was good, drinks also taste well and good Sheesha. The manager looking person also offered complementary kebab roll which was a nice gesture and taste very well.
