The urinals in men locker room smell so bad, it is impossible to inhale next to them. I am surprised that i have to ask in a public forum, but please look into this ISSUE, it is literally breathtaking experience using them. I am there 3 times a week in the morning and the horrendous smell is always there.
Banbury Community Centre is situated in the beautifully quiet residential neighbourhood at Leslie Street and York Mills Road. The community centre is very popular for its banquet hall facilities. With traditional hardwood floors and a stage, it is perfect for your next family or corporate function. Other rooms are suitable for small meetings and quiet activities. Large windows in many of the programming spaces, offer scenic views of the wooded parkland that is Windfield Park.
Prosserman center is very nice, warming place to come. You can find the right class with professional instructors you want to go. Leisure swimming in warm water is always relaxin after ling working day and also sauna and steam room are great for heat lovers. I made many new friends and always go to the gym with a good mood. Very friendly staff, answers all the questions and provides all info.

I have been here since October 2022 for steps for learning program & we experienced one of the very helpful program for kids. All teachers of SFL & EarlyOn are kind, loving & supportive as well.
Recently, I joined Beginner's sewing program & it was a great experience to learn sewing, where I had no previous knowledge of using sewing machine. Appreciate the staff for their extended support & providing such useful & interesting programs👏.

This centre is lovely and the programs are excellent quality, music class is amazing!! my son has learned to play piano more here than in private music schools.

Beautiful grounds. We come here for swim classes for our toddler with water babies. Their facilities look modern and clean. Also, staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice place but the two stars is for the tennis courts, I read that it is made of plastic to be made efficient for snow but still, it is far different from playing in hard court. It’s the only court I know in the city that is made of plastic? For tennis players don’t mind coming here
On Monday September 11, 2023 I had the pleasure of being invited by my fellow tai chi players to attend a community lunch/meal at the centre. I am genuinely grateful for the vegetable burger I received and ate with relish but I subsequently felt like Oliver Twist in Charles Dickens novel when I made the shameless request: "Please miss I want some more " I left 15 minutes later without my second burger still hungry but embarrassed.
Nice, well maintained play ground, good for younger children. Clean and rubber mats. No public restrooms. Can be very busy and crowded
I visited the newly opened Holocaust museum. It is relatively a small exhibition place concerning on interviews often survivors giving you a more 1st person view on the history.
I used to love this place and now this place has been completely run into the ground by poor management meaning the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. DANIEL IS BY FAR THE LAZIEST PERSON ON THE FACE OF THIS PLANET. I attended a lot of programs and I'm also a community memeber. I raised concerns with Daniel about programs and about possibly volunteering to help the homeless and he said, "That's someone else's problem"

Emmanuelle and the team at the Cecil Community Centre were a pleasure to work with. I would love to work with them again. Only issue was, we had a large turnout, and it got a bit warm, later. I didn't have a chance to let Emmanuelle know of the issue. It is possible they may have been able to do something about it. Video and sound was excellent, and very easy to integrate with their system. The Celebration of Life we held there was a success, in large part to Emmanuelle and his crew. Great venue. Great people.

My metal band hosted their EP release show at Cecil Community Centre and it was awesome! It's has a nice, big space with a stage which is the perfect size for a band to perform. Highly recommend!

Small but good facilities
We were pleasantly surprised about the cleanliness of this place. Just keep in mind that there are many homes around so try to keep the noise level at a respectable level.
Very disappointed with the Executive Director Daniel Anckle and the programs director Tarah Hamilton. TWO OF THE LAZIEST PEOPLE TO EVER BE EMPLOYED AND AN UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT TO THE COMMUNITY. Daniel only worries about his public appearance yet does not care about the people he's supposed to help. Where do I even begin with Tarah....she is lazy, racist, arrogant and just as bad as Daniel. They don't care about Cecil. Tarah has shown a blatant disregard for the community members who rely on Cecil's programs. Had spoken to her personally about how to help and she said "I'm only here because I get paid by the city, I hate this job."
Daniel is never available or is rarely at the community center, he never addresses concerns unless its for a news article or involves him having some sort of attention. Daniel only does things if it means having his picture taken and out in an article. Daniel show no initiative to better the lives of those who depend on Cecil Community Center.

I'm volunteering here at the Community Centre for yoga and dance. It's a nice building and the space of community Centre is amazing and bring and peaceful.
I think this place needs a change of staff starting at the top. The programs aren't diverse and only cater to one group. The is no real understanding of the community and the people there are pretty stiff. They need to have people who actually enjoy what they do versus doing it for the money. This place needs an entire management makeover.
I find this community center a good place for community events and small cultural events!
Our son’s wedding was at the Waterfront Park Apr. 29th, it was absolutely amazing. The location is breathtaking even in early Spring, just imagine how stunning it will be in the summer…. Also included with the rental of the location is full set up and take down. The flowers were absolutely amazing. The staff from start to finish were so amazing, very responsive, very accommodating, and showed that they really care and want the best for their customers. I only added a picture of the brides bouquet as all of our other pictures have our guests in them, so sadly am not able to add any of the pictures to show how beautiful everything was set up for our son and now wife’s wedding day. The whole time there was magical. Everyone that attended was so impressed. Thank you
I just filed my tax on free of cost. It was good experience. Mr Kharein did well, he was so patient and dedicated. Outstanding job compared to other accountants outside who charge us and not respond us properly. Here, he is so good and kind with clients. Thank you

Carless staff. Whenever i go there to ask what program the have for my kid or any other quiestion, THIS Asian ADMINESTRATIVE LADY wearing glasses ignores you , so agressive, rude and lazy to answer ppl questions . If she has no intrests to work there why none of the managers do something about it ????????

Great neighborhood. Everything is just walking distance. Public transportation is convenient. Close to egointon subway station. I like to stroll here. People are nice. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area.

I come here to watch their Jewish Comedy Festival shows. They are great. Can't wait to go see the next one. They also have a great gym and pool.

A clerk's attitude was not good. I like the atmosphere inside the building. Maybe she doesn't have any respect towards Asian people or has never learned customer service.
Park area is shelter by tall trees. There's 2 small play area.
Nice big new playground, all rubber. Great community, clean, modern, big enough to hold a bounce house plus several tables and serving food area, air conditioned and kitchen with all appliances, nice bathrooms.

Easy to drive to/find, just off a big main road & has its own parking lot (shaded)
2 smaller, older playgrounds in walking distance.
Big firepit outside with stones. Big trees for shade.
Just wish there was a spraypark or small spraypad close by attached for hot days.

I visited the place during the Playa Patron event. The space was limited and they could have more tables available. That would have allowed everyone to eat at a table and not carry plates around when you have a drink and a purse with you. The music was great, but considering most guests were 30-40+ could have been adjusted a bit!
Venue Al-Azhar Shriners was nice for our daughters wedding. Staff and service were great. The only issue was the steps from the main building that leads to actual waterfront need some serious repair. Out daughters veil kept getting caught in the very rough and unkept steps causing some tense moments for the bride to be!
Great facility. Clean gym, good variety of machines but there could be some more instead of the treadmills, very nice pool and clean locker rooms. Easily accessible with multiple entrances. The membership is a bit expensive, but the facility is nice and there are lots of classes and programs available to add value.

New , modern Jewish Center. Now it's the best in Toronto. Big swimming pool with salt water - kids love lessons here. Very modern sports facilities and lots of room studios for different activities .Big parking lot and good security.

All valunteers at the Income tax free clinic are amazing. They help very patiently and carefully, this is my first experience and I really appreciate the help. Special thanks to the gentleman who solved my tax problem. The receptionist who works really well next to the building, thank you so much for your help.
I cannot recommend Waterfront Parks enough. Peter and Jade went well above and beyond, helping us plan a short notice wedding (we booked less than three months prior to the date in an effort to minimize covid related changes), navigating trying times, and providing unparalleled service. Jade is even pictures in our wedding photos adjusting my dress prior to walking down the isle, and Peter met us on the limo bus to help "hide" me from the guests prior to the service. They were like family throughout the process and I honestly don't think we would have pulled off the wedding of our dreams without them. The venue is stunning, location is ideal, the food was delicious (and catered to all sorts of weird dietary issues), and the decor was spot on. If you're thinking about booking waterfront parks with simply elegant, stop thinking and book it. You won't regret it!

An amazing Skating Rink. Very well maintained ,A hockey 🏑🏑🏑 rink a skating path around the rink and the ball diamond rink.
Terrible community centre. Toddler pool is so shallow it should be called a pond. 9:00 am swim time and the pool did not appear to be cleaned. Black specs in the water resembling mold and other garbage. Dead flies in areas where you are supposed to store your items. Not suitable for any human being especially a toddler. Don't waste your time with the toddler pool.
This was a perfect place for my 7 year old granddaughter to play and run off some energy. Very safe environment with the recycled rubber floor. We had a fun few hours here today and will most certainly be returning many more times.
The building itself is decent, but this is such a waste of space. It's literally a tiny hut with like three rooms for a summer camp. There has to be a better way to use this valuable land.
This place is possibly one of the most romantic, beautiful and serene venue in Calgary. When you're in there you can help but feel overwhelmingly calm and combine with perfect setting and decor it made every occasion unforgettable.
And that's what we were looking for our Organization 3rd Anniversary celebration. We choose the tent venue in front of the lake, and it was perfect. We couldn't be any happier. Nothing can beat festive and nature, and I understand sometimes its hard to pulled a five stars experience outdoor, but not here!
The venue that they have is amazing, parking was not an issue because they have large parking area, they have a lot amenities and its easy to get there as well.

Madonna and her team are fabulous. They genuinely care about the programming and children. Samantha (Sam) was amazing and my little quickly took to her energy. She told great on the spot stories, and kept my little engaged the entire 90mins. I love Banbury and hope the community will continue to support this hidden gem. I volunteer at this Community Centre. They have great food boxes with veggies and everything for $10 and they have a clothes cupboard and lots of information to help people find the services they need
Great and cozy place right in the middle of a tight and warm community. The place seems of high quality, as the tennis court and playground are kept in good conditions.

This is an excellent community centre, truly of, and in, the heart of Toronto. Great programs for children and adults alike, wonderful and caring staff and program administrators. Chock full of resources for the community and a particularly important place for children and youth to get fit, be active, learn to work with others and improve their skill sets. Hidden gem. We've made great friends and connections because of this place. Great programming for the little ones! We donate a lot of toys/clothes as well for their toy library and closet. Great space for the neighborhood and special shout out to Amanda. She's so awesome with the kids and knows everyone by name. Thanks for this wonderful place!

Sweet, quiet park with speedy slide, soccer field and city run kid pool.
Great little park, but I was surprised that at nearly mid July and the wading pool is still not open and neither are the bathrooms.
Amazing place to sit and talk and the food was delicious also.

Been living in the area for 4 years, great people! They're very helpful especially with helping me get some of my volunteer hours.
Love the playground! It has an amazing structure, with 3 slides, climbing wall, swings, and zip lines, is toddlers friendly with a little structure at the side, there’s a lots of threes, so it give the sense of forest in the middle of the city!
My kids had lots of fun at this park ,the playground at the rear was really lovely .
This center is small but has so much potential. they have 2 play spaces with slides and swings and the community center has stuff always going on inside like cooking classes
An amazing place for people to come if they want to find a bible believing, servant minded community dedicated to outreach in Niagara Falls.
This community centre has a lot activity and in great location. It is located inside the Alexander Park which has swimming pool, ice skating and hockey. There are many activities are placing on the community centre. It is close on Sundays
Don’t believe all these negative reviews you read. I grew up in the area and came here often is this kid .. 30 years ago. I learned how to swim here. I played floor hockey. And had great times. I am so lucky to be able to give back to this area and community centre to a new generation of people.It’s so great to see the food businesses outside doing well and thriving. People need support

Great atmosphere and great people! Nice place with free breakfast every third Saturday from 9-11AM. Still agree with this review 5 years later. Service is so fast
