Great little place for family and kids. Good little public rink in the winters for free. Recently there has been indoor soccer for kids on Wednesday which we attend with our little guy. Check it out !
Great camp, and program and the staff are so nice and helpful, always willing to assist, parents and kids love the staff, everyone feels welcome
We went there to have fun with my Daughter, she is 2 years old and in a little bit we were asking to not use the pool because people have private lessons and only the hot tub is available. They did not say they when we went in . It was hard to convince my daughter to leve . I can’t believe this happened . I know Im never going back there .
The location is great, and the staff are friendly. However, the management is quite frustrating. I decided to cancel my membership the day before it was supposed to end, but to my dismay, they still charged me for two weeks the day after. When I called to address this issue, the person on the phone assured me that they would refund the money to my credit card. After waiting for half a month with no resolution, I called again. This time, a different staff member informed me that memberships needed to be canceled 7 days in advance, a detail that was never communicated to me when I initially signed up in person. If I had known about this policy, I could have either continued using the facilities for the next two days or taken timely action. Unfortunately, she mentioned she couldn't do anything beyond offering a credit on my card for future use. It's a disappointing experience to have to bear the consequences of someone else's mistake.
If you go down the ski slope you can find beautiful lake near Don river
Aquafit three times a week has kept me mobile while waiting for a knee replacement and it’s lots of fun. I’ve also enjoyed the cycle class, the chair yoga, abs the seated exercise classes. The only reason this isn’t a five star rating is because some of the water equipment needs replacing.
Great place for workouts sports use of gym, workout classes Superb seniors centre and a wonderful library to find great reads
Summer Day Camps:
Staff were very friendly and interested in teaching the kids. Drop off and pick up was organized and quick. Activities seemed also well organized but not very rigid. My son had a blast and was looking forward to each day.
No complaints, I personally have enjoyed going to the Y and will continue, there are many options to go to the gym, do workout classes, yoga classes, swimming, private sauna and hot tub for women and men. I highly HIGHLY, recommend!
Went swimming at this community centre. Decent sized pool - there is also a warm pool side (great for young children). However compared to other swimming pools the chlorine smell is very strong at this location. Even after showering you can smell the chlorine in your hair/skin.
The YMCA Day Camps are so good! My kids love them, come home exhausted at the end of the day, and learn new skills! We've done a few camps two years in a row and will be back again next year for sure!
Clean building. Easy access via bus as the stop is right in front of the building
Easy access by bus.
Nice soccer fields, and I like the addition of a beach volleyball court. It’s a small area though, and there’s not much to keep yourself busy with.
A great community rec centre, I'm there often and love it!
Good place for family, it has picnic area, playground, indoor swimming pool, basketball, football, tennis. The staffs are very nice, friendly
I come here everyday. Very clean and Wonderful environment. Staff are very friendly
i love it miam the food .....if anyone read this go see on you tube that movie trailer Sound Of Freedom ,,,,,actor Jim Caziele share it
This is a very family friendly park and has a converted ice arena to play with your dogs.

Very good community spirit..
One of the workers open the hall to us when a downpour started.

It has all the bells and wistles in every community park and there is always someone to surpervise.

They have community barbeques and many other family celebrations..
Great for weddings.
Same as the other community centers in North Vancouver, this place is a amazing place to use your spare times in the best. A library, gym, multipurpose room, daycare, ... There is also outdoor play area for basketball and probably other ball sports. The parking lot is big and free. A bike repair station with some wrenches and inflating pump is available in this area.
Great local community centre. Friendly staff nice workout gym.
Community center is great, classes are great. Need more parking in the summer.. a couple of times we had to miss our class due to lack of parking
I come here often with my kids. Its like my weekend go to spot. I would say over the years it has gotten crowded but that is to happen. Other than that, it is a perfect spot for my kids!

My child has been to sports class, arts class and been to childminding regularly.. she’s been having wonderful experience with the programs and staff overall. The staff are very caring, respectful and offer a welcoming environment. We as a family feel very comfortable there.
True supporters of local art 🖼 communities
I don't have any other day to compare this park to, but four stars due to the lack of parking and the room was a bit hot.

Otherwise, the community centre itself is quite nice and clean. The room we had had immediate access to a playground in the back for the small kids at our event. Even though around the centre was busy, the centre itself was not.

The actual park is really nice as well, unfortunately for us there was a huge event happening and there was zero parking making it crazy crowded with cars and people.

Be mindful, and ensure to check online for any functions happening at the same time on the weekends. That way, you can plan your trip accordingly.
Huron park community centre has swimming pools for all ages, gyms, arena, basketball courts, also a big park with splash pad, baseball ground & picnic tables to relax. Kids friendly and plenty of parking.

Nice place
after walking in the park I take a shower inside the community center. Its good because after walking i feel ithcyness on my body.
Feeling so lucky to have such a nice recreation centre just about 10 min away from home 🏡. Love the swimming pool and the gym too. The change room is quite clean. The environment is nice, pool water is clear with no strong smell of chlorine. The soft music 🎶 and especially no loud talk help to relax the mind while keeping fit.
Went to the Healthcare Clinic on the second floor for an appointment. The staff were super welcoming and nice. The Nurse I saw was really friendly and very thorough with my check up. Overall, a really clean, calm and welcoming environment. I will probably be back in the future!
Nice playground for children, basketball field, skating ring, skating area by the little forest.
Plenty of space inside for party and other activities.
Always very crowded on weekends. A/v is not regulated well, in some rooms it's cold and some it's hot in there. Washroom is dirty since too many people use it.
It's a place where people of all ages can exercise, learn and socialize. They have an excellent fitness centre, gym and art program. There's a daycare + baby & children's day programs
The Parkgate Society is run by local seniors with a range of different activities and services.
This is my Dojo and if I don't give it a good rating I'll end up doing push-ups all night.
There is a gym, great service. Staff are helpful.
Just one thing I don't like is that the changing rooms are on the ground floor and the gym is on the 2end, so every time I need somthing gotta go down. Besides that I enjoy be there.
Here is one of the best community centers in Vancouver, suitable for all ages. It offers a wide range of activities.
They have thoughtfully provided a water tap for public use, water is clean and area is marked by a sign.
It's a great neighborhood to live in.
Wonderful experience. My daughter taekwondo picnic was held there.
With ample parking space. The parks gota massive standard sports pitch. Football(soccer) posts on both ends. Great for sweating it out with pals on weekends. Also got a Tennis section and other sports facilities.
The wife bends over backwards with excitement to go there and get some free time while the kids play. Really nice play and cool little arena and nice open field with dog park next door.
This is a great Community Center, Ice skating is Awesome here. The Staff is great!
can't beat outside ,it's the place to be.I find the city does a wonderful job keeping the parks up and maintained

The Leonardo da Vinci is a nice centre. I came only for the Christmas Concert back in 2018 and it was a nice centre. It is surrounded near a park and it is close to pretty much the highway which makes it ideal to host an event there and surrounded by parks and public transit is not a problem since there is a bus service to and from the Metro.

The only issues I had was that it is a little bit far from where we had to go and it was a pretty small venue. It also looks a little rundowned but other than that is is a nice and cool venue.

Other than that it is a nice beautiful centre with many performances you can do and have.
Very nice centre with park around
Playground equipment is ok but very dated. The grounds need some work and there is no garage can. Truly disappointed in the township's lack of attention.
great place, during the summer you can bring your dog into the ice rink sit at the benches right behind the community league and enjoy the beautiful summer days. decent playground for the children.
A most intimate place of worship in nature, on the water, amongst loving people.
The best ODR in Edmonton. The ice is always mint condition, boards are newly renovated, NHL nets, and big benches with lots of room.
I've been coming to this ice rink since as long as I can remember and ever since then it has been under the supervision by the same friendly man. He is a great delight to talk to and if you go regularly enough he will remember you forever. Even during covid he has done an amazing job allowing people to enjoy the great outdoors in a positive and safe manner. Somebody get this man a raise cause honestly this ice rink is nothing if not for him!!! Outside of the praise of the rinks supervisor ive got to say that the ice is really well made and taken care of. The rink has been divided into 2 seperate rinks, one for say the big Bois who wanna play some hockey and a smaller outside rink for those looking to just enjoy some regular skating and even practice by them selves a bit of hockey passing or skating. Overall I've had a great 10 years coming here and can't wait for another 10!
Great for a quick hockey skate, and a separate small rink with hay bales to sit on
You know me and my kids love to go there you have a nice little Hill perfect for sledding they also have a Park there for the kids to play in if they don't want to go sledding and they also have two ice arenas so that every you need in one little area perfect spot
Came for some public skating, there is a warm room inside the community hall to put your skates in and take a break. Bathroom and watercooler provided.
We had our family reunion here. This place is amazing. Big lots of space. Pwede ka mag picnic mag barbeque and.if you have children they can play in the park or water play. There is lots to do...😊😊😊😊😊😊
This is a community hall with a full functioning park. It is adjacent to an elementary school, with soccer fields a baseball diamond and outdoor hockey rink and basketball courts.
A beutiful communiy center for kinds and for elders too! Very clean and peaceful. They have a sensory garden pefect for energetic kids that will definitely make both your day!

Wonderful park for kids with a free to use skating rink that is well kept during the winter months. It’s also situated beside a “forest” which is good for pets or outdoorsy children.
The nice thing about this facility is that there are very few people lifting weights here as the demographic consists of primarily older adults. This means that weightlifting equipment is almost always available, but cardio machines are occupied at a higher rate. However, that means that the lifting atmosphere can be a little underwhelming because you'll often be the best lifter in the gym. Their rates are great for children, students, and seniors, but it seems like the average joe's are making up for that by paying more than you would at a similar-caliber facility.
I have been to many different events at Baxter loved every one. A very clean center
Perfect place for girls club
Google asked me to update, so I will!

Membership for the community league is only $35. Gets you access to the rink during the winter and discounts at Muggnz and access to big bin events. We paid for it and enjoyed some of the benefits.

Awesome space for parties. Great location for local events. Girl Guides uses the space and it is great for them with access to toboggan Hill near by, playground, lots of open space and rink for skating.

Continues to be a great space.
One of the best outdoor rinks in Millwoods. The rink was updated recently. A concrete base as well as new boards and basketball hoops for summer use.
The hall has functions going not sure what exactly. Theres a park for the kids swings slides and monkey bars. Sledding hill in the winter.
Our daughter loved the playground!
Need a boat to get there. Very friendly people. Gospel is preached there
Nicely maintained property and good potable water
The staff taking care of the rink are outstanding! Welcoming, friendly and helpful. And they take great care of thw facilities. Thank you for having such a great place right in our community
Great community gathering place.
I'm a member of the center and enjoy the various classes being offered there. Overall this is great place to keep active and healthy. There are also a number of social and cultural events organized throughout the year.

I wish the facilities were better maintained however. In the main studio, where the big lasses take place the sound system and fans often do not work properly. The saunas and hot tub are sometimes our of use and not very clean.
Nice little community hall. Had a small wedding there and a Xmas event for the kids. Building is nice and clean.
Family friendly park and facilities for all. A great place to raise your family!
Nice facility (playground, field, ice rink next door), friendly staff - using for Scouts troop.
Provides local programs. The rink is always clean and with the park right next door there is something for everyone
