Very spacious and so much fun, my uni Orientation week parties happen and it's a tradition to party here at least once at the start of the year
Pretty decent place for group parties
A barn like appearance on the outside, decent on the inside
Way nice place
Good rental rooms and big size and friendly staff

I cousin have given 5 but 4
Reason: we were told there is fridge and stove
The fridge given as part of rent was common staff room fridge which it was 80% full and was not much useful
If we knew before hand we could plan accordingly.
Carlos the event or room rental manager should be telling this and a very hard to reach as well no direct phone .
Overall our small event with 40people went well.
It is very nice playground area, quiet area.
Have been coming here for several years and noticing that it is getting more and more crowded no matter the time of day. Lane swim seems to have lineups frequently. Weight room is seems to be operating at high capacity as well. Cleanliness of facilities is not where it used to be.

Price is still good, which probably contributes to above factors
AT a meeting and staff bbq
Played at Tennis court.
Courts are well maintained and has very good lighting if you decide to play in evening.
Ample of parking available.
Only downside is sometimes waiting period is more.
My husband and I threw our son's first birthday party at the LC Taylor auditorium and it accommodated all our guests (friends and family). The room was very spacious, tables and chairs were provided, a very big kitchen with stove, fridge and sink, staff was great and the price vs a banquet hall was easy on the pockets. They do have an elevator to bring your heavy items and food up as the room is on the upper level. Just keep in mind that the elevator is sometimes busy and you may have to use the stairs but not to worry it's only a few steps.
I look forward to using LC Taylor or even the smaller rooms for future events.
I recently visited [River Grove Swimming Pool ] for a fun swim and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. The changing rooms had a strong smell of urine, and it was clear that some people were urinating there. The washrooms were also extremely dirty and unkempt, making the entire visit very unpleasant. Considering I paid $15 for entry, I expected much better hygiene and maintenance. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this facility and cannot recommend it to others.
This is a very nice community centre that has a library, pool, gym, fitness centre, and ice rink.
The fitness centre is a healthy size and has lots of machines.
The ice rink is a standard size however the change rooms could use more space as its cramped with 16 fully dressed players.
The library is a respectable size but wins no awards.
Nostalgia trip as I played here 30 years ago. Kept the aesthetic of the old barn with some good renovations. Cool rink as usual.
Excellent facility. Clean and well run. Timings are fixed and the schedules are available online. For visitors like me please be aware that not all children can use the winding slide. Your child must be wearing a green band ( which indicates that you have passed the swim test) in order for your child to use it.

The slide in the deep end also requires for the guardian to be present in the water in order for the child to use the child with a life vest if needed.
Great and large City Park, with splash water park
Nice place, but there is no washroom around
Chill spot 😎 I fukk wit dis joint 😊💯✊🏾
My cash and bank cards has been stolen here. My bad is to use this tsa lock for protection. Guys please take care of your property since this community is not safe. A message to the robber:"If you read this you can enjoy my hard earned cash and use my bank card for your reckless purchases. That's so shameful for you since this is the money for my little baby milk. The police noticed me they have identified your face at Community Centre and Square One Walmart/Shopper Drug Mart by surveillance camera. They will talk to you soon. Good luck😏"
The hall itself is quite good and it's a nice little playground but it does need renovating. The tennis court is shabby and falling apart and the rink is so so. It's a nice little spot for the community so I hope they use the funds I know they have sitting in their coffers right now, to upgrade the place as soon as possible. I hear there is petty squabbling going on right now which is interfering with the upgrades. Let's hope adults start to act like adults and come to a compromise. If worse comes to worse, let the membership vote on any issues and get it done! I enjoy coming here but if it was fixed up I would enjoy it more... 🤷🏻‍♀️❤️
Great little cozy place, very warm & friendly 😊
This facility is missing accommodations for breastfeeding mothers. I was told to use the bathroom or change room - so disgusting and disrespectful. I asked if I could use a spare room and was told it’s a liability. Every community center should have an alternative room even a temporary one for mothers that require a few minutes of a safe, clean, private space to feed their child.
The communal showers are a bit weird and I don't like how they close off the washrooms early at night. They also need more chairs and tables to work.

The hours are really convenient, I am glad they are open for that long. The staff are always nice. It is a great facility. I did encounter some bugs every so often, in the changerooms, crawling behind the outlet covers, but I assume that is just the age of the building showing.

It is also strange how the court is separated from the rest of the facility.
We just hosted our daughter’s first birthday. The Hall was Wonderful, totally accommodating for kids of all ages and activities. Michel the manager was wonderful to work with. He made this experience wonderful. Thank you Michel!
Love this gym, and thr fact you have access to all locations. I primarily use 2 locations, but happy I can go to any!! Helping me keep active and move onto my next stage for competition.
Very nice and very clean.. and it's reasonable price
This is the nicest park i ever went to Anna she is the nicest i love their service!
Great hockey barn! Staff on-site is always friendly and helpful. Nicely located in the village of Streetsville, close to parks and trails.
It was perfect for my 116 months and 6 years old kids. This is the first time my 6 ears old didn't want to leave the park, even though he kept mentioning that his hands were cold.
This is a beautiful hall that is very well maintained. Has 2 halls as well as a boardroom that can be booked for meetings.

There was a lovely little market held here and the facility is well maintained and clean.
Lynwood Community Hall and Park is truly a gem in our neighborhood. The picturesque setting captured in the photo, with the northern lights illuminating the sky, only hints at the beauty this place offers. Surrounded by delightful treats and embraced by a community that adores it, this hall and park have become the heart of our local experience. It's not just a location; it's a haven where shared moments and a sense of togetherness thrive.
An idyllic community centre in Streetsville with a banquet hall. We celebrated a 90th birthday here, catered food and brought our own drinks, there’s a bar fridge and large hall good for 150 plus people. The washrooms are kept clean and supplied. Certainly the function room will suffice for a decent celebration like we had. There’s enough parking space for everyone and located around a green area.
I moved to Edmonton and Belmead a year ago. I was very active in my community where I used to live and ran a non profit that held 11 events per month. I volunteered at the community league when I first moved here. In the past year I recieved one call to work at a Bingo or Casino night for them. The call was short notice because someone had cancelled. I was glad to help and meet some of my neighbours and I arranged a sitter. I was told I wasn't needed less than hour before my sitter was set to arrive and never heard from them again, despite the occasional call for volunteers on the sign in front of the hall.

I'm sure they just have tons of dedicated, community minded volunteers and ask for me for practise. There wouldn't any social, economic or racially motivated discrimination going on.
Great location we were there for a track and field event perfect venue for around 100 people it the up stairs hall short walk across the parking lot for amazing views
The signage is a little confusing but overall really well setup!

When you are inside the building trying to get to hazel mccallion hall/room, there are arrows to indicate which direction to walk but the signage doesnt specify that you have to actually exit the building to get to that room, the internal door that would otherwise lead to that room is locked, so myself and about 20 others who came for a town hall meeting were all chatting about how that was confusing and unclear
Vic Johnston Community Center provides a well-maintained arena and community hall. The arena offers a great space for ice-related activities, while the community hall is spacious and versatile for various events. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience. It’s a fantastic facility for both sports enthusiasts and community gatherings.
Has a massive park that's like a one-stop place for a family summer fun! It features a spray park, natural playground, lots of covered picnic spots/tables, climbers and obstacle course and beautiful trees and flowers all around!
Very nice park and Waterpark. Looks of benches and picnic tables. Fire pits for picnics. The only drawback is no washrooms.
Nice quiet Community hall.
Great place for community events.
This community hall was ADVERTISING YOGA classes on Tuesdays but when i tried to attend, everything was locked up and no one was around. Very disappointed.
We love the Vic! Skating with the kids or watching our friends'children play hockey is always a great experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We also really love the quality of the Vic merchandise and the price is just right.
The renovated playground and recreation area is amazingly beautiful! Spent a few hours there today and it was very nice. Even the homeless guy sleeping on a table bench was enjoying it!
They offer top-notch wellness programs with highly skilled instructors. The swimming pools are fun, and the indoor courts are perfect for various sports. Ample parking makes it convenient, and the kids' park and walking trail are a bonus!
Nice clean hall. Has a kitchen so if you had a gathering thst requred you to prepare food you could do it. Tables and chairs are available to use.
April 2023 5*

My kids go to swimming classes at this community Center. We must have by now tried 5 community Center for swimming classes. All places are good. However this one is amazing.

The pool is quite big and best part is the filtration at this pool. This would be among very first one to do it. The building is new and faculty is nice.

There are other fitness facilities at the community Center but it is not big one.

There is nice trail in the backside. So if your kids are taking lesson.. spend sometime outside.
Celebrated a friend's birthday. Good sized hall, clean, plenty of parking. Washrooms were clesn, well stocked with soap, tissue and hand towels..
Updated and clean community centre. Squash courts, pools, gym space and lots of rooms to use and great access to fields and trails outside. Friendly helpful staff. Katie was helpful and knowledgeable and proud of the Mississauga facilities. Not as busy as places like Erin Meadows. Sadly, the only thing it's missing is a library. Parking is sufficient.
We attended a wedding here and really enjoyed it - the venue is smaller and intimate (we were upstairs) and really loved taking photos with the floor to ceiling mirrors!
One of the very nice and big community center in Mississauga. It’s been together with valley public school and valley park. More than enough car parking lots are available.
Nice fresh look in the Main Hall and Meeting Rooms. Clean and welcoming facility, newly renovated. Can't wait to be back celebrating our big day with family and friends in this lovely space🌹.
I went with my kids to the pool today and I was amazed by this place. It has a normal large pool, a kids pool with slides and a hot water jacuzzi Spa pool. It looked clean, everything good. Dressing rooms good, and the only consideration if any is that almost all lockers were full and this space was too small. The shower and dryers also were limited. I am giving 4 stars, but I think that 4.5 is fair.
Great outdoor ice surfaces. One is unlocked and you can skate nearly any time. Lights came on automatically after dark (I think they’re on a timer). There’s a second, small rink that’s fenced and locked except for certain times, see their website.

Right now, there is outdoor seating for skates on/off. Sometimes an indoor heated area is opened up, but for COVID it’s limited to only 2 households at a time.

Must be a community association member to skate.
Great space for ice hockey and general purpose space. Also has a kitchen if needed and is very spacious.

Excellent, very spacious and very clean location. You can the tell the people that work here have pride in the location and they are very helpful. Perfect location for group meeting, weddings, etc!!!
Nice place to book for any occasion.
Community Hall is very nice with a great floor plan!
Great small community hall
Wooden playground in photos actually belongs to the school but the hall does have a some old metal play equipment. Small spray park is great. Good place for kids to play close to Whyte and the library etc
This is a great playground for young children with a wide open space perfect for games.
My son loves it. Great combination of Spray park & regular playground with no sand
Always a fun park for the kids. There is a picnic area, spray park with a cool Canada/Alberta theme and a variety of climbing structures for different ages. The washroom is across the field in the fitness centre. It can be hard for little kids to make it all the way there if they waited too long. Otherwise, a lovely playground!

The field, which is connected to the field of the elementary school next door, is huge! The play structure is aged, but solid and it keeps the kids occupied for hours.

The facility is small, but well kept and it is very inexpensive to rent.

There is ice skating in the winter, both in the rink and in an iced up part of the grass. The skating rink is great for floor hockey in the summer.
Kids love this place. We have covered picnic tables and tar based playground with little sand. So clean and inviting.
We love this playground. There's a great covered area with 6 large picnic tables, a splash park and a large playground with equipment for both young and older kids. There is no sand. The playground area has a rubber tarmac. The only problem with this park is that there's no washroom. You can walk to St. Francis Xavier if you need a washroom. Splashpark is open 9am -9pm
Nice facility with a good dance floor. Only (minor) issue is that the boot racks are down the stairs and a ways away from the entrance seating area. Often results in wet feet (if others haven't removed wet boots) or if the guest needs to sit to remove boots and/or change shoes.
My kids and I were driving home from the Scandinavian Spa on Monday, Feb. 25/2019 when the storm stopped us from reaching home. I pulled over to a gas station and met this young man at the gas pump and asked if he could help me locate the nearest hotel. Unfortunately, there was nothing within the vicinity and he directed me to the community centre for shelter. I was amazed at the hospitality that was given to not only my kids and me but to the other 70+ people that were stranded due to the storm. Local residents donated food and drinks and at the end opened their home to my family and to other families ensuring we were safe and warm throughout the night.
I am so thankful that this community centre was open and so generous. This place literally saved my family that night. I will be forever grateful to the community centre and the local residents in the community. It is so amazing to see that there are still such good hearted people out there willing to save a stranger.
Awesome, helped us out stranded during a snow storm - thank you
A really nice small hall.
Fantastic feel at this little place.
Very good place for kids, they enjoyed so much that I couldn't do a clear picture.
Good place for family, adults and children: skating, walking in the park and little forest, playground and basketball.
Cool spot for ice skating and baseball, but but much else. No gym, no indoor pool, no basketball... Kind of weak.

As a resident across the street from the park, it looks to be a great spot for family oriented gatherings. I've been an onlooker to a family bbq, movie in the park, fireworks, soccer games, hockey/skating.
Place is cozy, just good for 70 guest with round tables. Has a cute stage and mirror walls that adds an illussion of a wide space. But the hall is at the upper level. They had a ramp but still too tiring for those loads we have. Building is kinda old, and there's a signage to use the ramp not the stairs, kinda weird thou..
What an amazing Canada Day set up!
A petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, a magic show, a BBQ, and a movie. Wow! Over the top!
Great park. Nice spray deck. Rubber flooring is a plus. Didn't have public washrooms
Need a low cost rental, with a great hall? This is the place!
We are there for a once-a-year event that has a significance for me as a Holistic Nutritionist: Ramp Festival. A very unique food at a very special time and place. I'm looking forward to the next year event!
Great playground and spry park on summer and awesome ice ring and little hill for tobogganing on winter! Love this please with the kids only con (4 stars) is because they don’t have a washroom on the site really inconvenient for the little kids!
Perfect spot for family. Warm, clean and super people.
We held our ceremony and reception here for 100 guests in September, and it turned out beautifully! The main hall and the smaller side hall are full of light, and guests commented on how lovely the space was. Darlene, the hall manager, is a true delight to work with, and it was very easy to book, and do follow up visits for decoration planning, etc. Great location. I highly recommend for an event! (We did rent chairs as I wanted a specific look, but both chairs and tables are included in your rental).
I wish there was public washrooms available for people using the park like an outhouse or something. But other than that I love the huge park and the spray area.
Members can rent the hall for affordable price. Tjetes the kifs playground, ice sksting rink and bog field close to the school
The kitchen space is large and clean.

Nice open space with a raised stage at one end. The chairs provided for use are padded and comfortable.

Lots of parking.

Nothing negative I can really say about this place. It's a well maintained community Hall.
