Love the new look and the food is better then ever! The Fig jam and brie burger was delicious. The southern fried chicken sandwich was excellent and my new favourite. Also, i'm glad to see you are now serving fresh cut fries. So yummy.

Was a great experience would 1000% go again. The food was fantastic, the pizza though, to die for. And I'm not a huge pizza fan. We really drew the short stick with the server though. She was absolutely awful. 45 minutes to get a single drink, and then they never came together, and when asked, she got snippy. But maybe she was having a bad day or wasn't experienced. Either way, we didn't let it cloud our experience, and everything else was amazing. If you're looking for a nice place to go, this is it. They have dancing later in the evening, and the crowd is pretty great. Younger, but still fun, and not rowdy, or rambunctious. Don't try to get a glass of wine after 930 pm. Apparently, they don't pour wine after that hour. All in all, I give it a solid 9/10. If we had a different server and wine after 930, it would be a 10.

Speechless on how amazing the food here is. The first impression when I walked in was great but the food was exceptionally great! We went for our wedding anniversary and the owners and staff went above and beyond to make our day special.

Ps. Can’t forget some delicious dessert!

Excellent spot for a date night. The bartenders made excellent upscale beverages... we had oysters to start, I had the pork chop and he had the pizza red #3. The pork chop was perfect, great size, drizzled in honey and I ate every bite. Espresso martinis for dessert!

They had lost our reservation and it took 10 minutes to figure out what to do when the place was half full. Pizza red 3 was ok. The shrimp salad was good. The home made truffle chips did taste like truffle….a lot. Nice terrace. We could listen to the music from another bar a few doors down. The decor inside seems too look nice, but they did not let us in. May try again but if the service is not good I will walk away

I believe we visited at the wrong time, they were going through a menu change and were out of many dishes and even drinks. However, the waitress was lovely and the food and drinks we did get were great! We got the Margherita pizza, side Duke salad and the Duke Sangria.

Went to One Duke Hamilton, and experienced the best service and food ever. I got the Red Pepper Chicken Tortellini and Cheesecake and enjoyed every bite! The bartender Rachel is the best server I have yet to encounter and she made our experience absolutely delightful!

An old school fine dining Portuguese restaurant. The attention to detail and service throughout the dining experience are hard to find now. This has been one of my regular stops when visiting Montreal for a long time.

My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed the time there. Food was delicious and the patio was beautiful and cozy. We had the salmon risotto, the chicken parmigiana and the garlic shrimp. Everything was exquisite. Service was also great.

Nice place to stop for a drink and bite to eat. Niice selection of pizzas with thin crust. I had the Red #2 which had pepperoni, red sauce and basil. You can customize the crust and some toppings. Service was good and they have a nice patio. Inside decor is pretty cool. Pricey for pizza.
This was our first trip to Montreal. My wife and I are both foodies, always ready to try something new. We decided to walk, the streets were busy, and there was little parking. We hoped to find something interesting and see if we could be successful as walk ins. And at that moment, in the historic Vieux Montreal, we came to Restaurant Solmar, specializing in Portuguese dining. The restaurant was not on street level and required climbing several steps to the second floor. I can't comment on whether there was an elevator or not. We had the place to ourselves! Our waiter, a well groomed professional who was as polished as the wine glasses he was wiping down welcomed us. The ambiance was intimate. A restaurant like this is meant for you to sit back, listen to the menu selections and the wine pairing. "Our chef is from Portugal," our waiter said, "and he prepares your dinner like he is still in Portugal." Now, that's what I'm talking about.I wanted the grilled octopus and my wife had the seafood paella. We went with a rioja gran reserva as recommended. Our dinner arrived beyond expectations. The wine worked wonderfully. Our lavish ncomments to the waiter prompted the chef to visit our table where he parted his only cooking secret ... "grilling octopus has to be low and slow, or it is too tough." He got that right.

Absolutely the best service and food I have ever had. The octopus was just fantastic.
We visited for our first time. What a beautiful experience. Our server Ayla was exceptionally friendly, kind and welcoming. Her service is one you want in any of these establishments. Her attentiveness to our table was amazing. She was very educated in the questions that was asked about the foods and drinks. Our drinks were very very good. We had the Lipstick Martini , violet empress drink, toasted almond shots, First sip martini. All well made and presented beautifully. Please take a peak into my photos to see.
The price points are very comparable to most. The prices are a bit cheaper for the drink and some food items.
I definitely would recommend the fried chicken sandwich. Wow it blew me out of the water. It was huge, juicy, crunchy and the bun was so fresh. It did not disappoint. The cheese was melted and the pull on it was a sight to see.
The shrimp tacos were okay. The shrimps were a bit cold. The salmon was cooked well.
The oyster was good. However not sure if I liked the oyster sauce that was on there. Both of the ones I ate had some sand on them. Refer to photo.
That’s probably a one off. They were fresh and tasty good than that. The fried Chiquitos I think it’s called. Was very tasty and delicious.
definitely worth trying out this place and see what’s your favourite?
I was very disappointed to find out that there was absolutely nothing on the menu. I understand maybe we had come at a bad time but it was poorly handled.
The waitress gave us the full menu then left, never mentioned if there was anything unavailable. We looked at what drinks they had and tried to order "oh sorry we have nothing on tap only cans" ...ok so another 5 minutes of choosing what we want. We were looking at food for a good half an hour she comes over and apologizes we don't have that. Again another few minutes of looking she came back and said the same thing. The process was so long and awful especially when you're just waiting like why not just say what IS on the menu at that point or take the time to tape things off. So unfortunately the only things available were burgers and canned beer. Burgers were pretty good.

UPDATE AUGUST: I came back and was greeted by a bartender. I asked for what's on tap and she did "we don't have anything on tap we only have cans". Meanwhile, they have an entire tap selection. She also ignored me all night while serving other people. One and done.
Definitely some of the best sushi I’ve had in the city at a fair price. The service was quick and friendly as well! Will definitely be back. A great experience
My son recommended it and my family visited here Sunday. The staff were very friendly and helpful with choices.

A new Japanese restaurant with great taste and great service. The lobster bisque udon was delicious and my mother loved it. The tempura were crispy! The rolls and sushi looked and tasted good. The oysters were fresh and great.

We came here for a date night and it did not disappoint. We had the Red 6 and White 4 Pizzas which were so savory and cooked to perfection. Don't skip the garlic sauce, it was sooo perfect with the pizza. The Wagyu burger was worth the price and melted in your mouth, the fries were salted well. The cocktails were boozy and fruity, beauty presentation. Our server was the bartender so he was a bit tied up, but the bus boy was very nice and helped get our takeout boxes and bill sent over. Overall great dinner.

Fantasticly cool location. The staff all are trendy and lovely. The building itself is a marvel and I would love to wander around checking out the 100+ year old workings mixed with the ultra mod renos. If u haven't been there and plan to go for dinner, when seated in the basement there is a bar vibe that permeates the air and it can be tough to have a convo at your table due to the volume. I love that vibe but wasn't prepared. I also called to book a table around 3pm for 7 and was told that the only way to do that was thru the website....while speaking she checked the website for me and said it looks like there is room at 7! But didn't offer to take the reservation. I don't really care, except we are speaking, I know it's old fashioned of me, but hey, throw my name down since I took the time to to call u, since you're currently looking at it! Maybe a way to screen what age group attends.
Our server was lovely and sweet and took our orders promptly. We shared some incredible chips and dip. However, I ordered a medium steak that came burnt well done. It had a demi glaze and I couldn't tell when it came and was much too hungry by the time the food came to complain. I know, I should let them know, but again it was almost 8 now and I was famished. My friends ordered the wagu burger that was also well over cooked, she said dry and hard to eat! That is a waste of juicy meat. And the other had a Tuna dish that looked gorgeous until you got to the lentils and she was done. I tried them and they tasted great but she was put off by the presentation. I must say mine was still edible, even if over cooked and I ate it all. I will come back to give her another try when I'm back this way.

Came here very late on Saturday night, probably around 11:30, place only had a couple people, the hostess said we had just missed their big night rush! I got the pepperoni pizza, and my buddies got the smash burgers, we also a pitcher of sangria for the table. Honestly food was pretty good, fries had some seasoning on them that tasted amazing, plus they were fresh cut. Pizza came out very hot, but tasted good! Service was great, the waitress made sure we had everything we needed and came to check in on us a couple times, also the ambience of the low lighting was very cool, very much an upscale place.

Funky vibe- cozy atmosphere on the lower level. Great cocktail menu, good apps and we all enjoyed the pizza!
Looking forward to returning!
Didn’t get a whole lot of photos because once I started eating I couldn’t stop. Honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had.The sushi is finely crafted with a variety of textures and flavours that compliment each other perfectly. Interesting sushi shapes, which makes it unique. Hospitality is top notch, the atmosphere is very very pretty and dimly lit. 10/10 recommend!

Good cocktails, excellent food, modern and chill atmosphere. I had the pork belly and found it very tasty, delicious potatoes and carrots (which I’m surprised by, not usually fond of those). My partner had the pasta, I would have that next time. Service could be inconsistent, one of the waiters was fine, the other wasn’t.

Amazing authentic Portuguese food. Just like being back home. Highly recommended. The owner was extremely friendly and a fantastic host.
Food was absolutely delicious. Server was friendly.

We ordered many different kinds of dishes, but everything was served in an organized manner!

Beef tataki and sashimi were super fresh. Chicken karaage was MUST TRY. Mussels were so small but curry sauce tastes good. Some special rolls were new to us but absolutely amazing!
Food prices were great. I found it cheaper compare to other Japanese restaurants. However, I did not find all of the ordered food items appetizing. I loved the Wagyu Sushi Roll and the Mango Roll. But the Wagyu Stone Grill Steak, ChaShu Ramen, Tonkutsu Black Ramen, Chicken, and Squid were a bit tasteless. Pinky promise non-alcoholic drink was excellent! The customer service was JUST okay though. My dad ordered a Jagger Bolt alcoholic drink but it tasted bad. I also honestly don't know who my server was as there were lots who served our food and noone actually voluntarily checked on us during our dinner stay. My bill was $180+ but I don't think we'll be coming back for more.
Hidden gem in Calgary! Spacious, comfort seating, quiet, quality sushi. I love it has unique items on the menu, not just your typical salmon sushi, rolls. I would not recommend this place because I am worried it will get too busy!
Booked for a diner night out at Monsoon Izakaya. We enjoyed the place. Good variety of different Japanese foods. From sushi, sashimi, rolls to deep fried, grilled items to steak, oysters, salad and ramen. Each day has a special discount item as well. The menu is pretty full range of Japanese style food. Lots of choices. Excellent for bring friends and people may not like raw fish. Even children and family will find something they like. Friendly staff and services as well. Pricing is ok consider the quality of food. I will say it is a mid range pricing. Worth a try and see if you like it. Recommended.
I love this place! Been a few times. Great deal on Oysters on oyster night. All the food is fresh and flavourful. Lots of unique dishes and the staff is fantastic. On my daughter's birthday a new staff member input our oyster order not twice, but three times. We only ordered one tray. She also brought all the same oysters. Not as requested. Like I said, new staff, and she was flustered. I wouldn't hold it against the restaurant at all and the rest of FANTASTIC staff. The prices are high, but the quality is worth it. I recommend it. Can't wait to return. I get takeout often on the way home from work.
Great experience and got the 5 course dinner deal from Groupon! Elizabeth is just so amazing and did fantastic job serving us for the evening, the connections, checking for satisfaction is simply legendary! Great job and nice space, we went on Saturday and is almost full house! Would definitely come back next time we visit Niagara Falls

In a new city, you randomly pick a restaurant on a very busy touristy street and hope to get a pleasant meal. The meal was good, but the service was dreadful. The scallops were in a very salty sauce. The bisque was mediocre. My fillet was nice with vegetables, and the lamb shank was decent. Most of the time, the staff just ignored us and were not very friendly.
My wife and I were celebrating 23 years to the day that I asked for her hand in marriage. Fortunately for me she said YES! The food was outstanding! My wife had the short rib and I had the New York Striploin. AMAZING!!!
Fantastic French Onion soup for starter and incredible Goat Cheese portobello mushrooms for appetizer. Finished with a delectable Creme Brule all the while sipping some wonderful Niagara Merlot.
Beautiful ambience, great
pacing with the meal and wonderful service from Sarah!
You need to try this great restaurant. Not too big, comfortably relaxed and classy.
Great job Wildfire Grill,
We will be back!
Good food, the position a little small considering the price. Service is super and respectful.

Probably they can improve time preparation.
Enjoyed traditional Portuguese cuisine in Montreal! Had the pleasure of meeting the owners! They were so gracious!
They spoke to us in Portuguese!
Family owned restaurant! Celebrating 51 years in 2023!
Highly recommend!
Thank you for a lovely dining experience on our last night in Montreal!

Restaurant with excellent location, good for people watching (but not exactly quiet, although I suppose none can really be in this neighborhood).
We were excited to come here, since we're Portuguese ourselves, but we were very disappointed. We asked for several dishes to share ("tapas", although that's not exactly the word we use in Portugal): clams, shrimps, grilled vegetables and chorizo. We didn't really like any of our dishes: the clams still had sand/debris and were very salty (and not really "à Bulhão Pato"), the shrimps (only a few) were, on the other hand, had no salt at all and didn't have the taste we expected, the chorizo was too spicy and not Portuguese neither, and the vegetables were simply bad (hard, unappealing...).
Also, the service was very, very slow (we were in no rush, but we waited a long time for our food and, if you call them "tapas", then they are usually served at the same time or in a quick succession).
One final thing: we understand that, even though this is supposed to be a Portuguese restaurant, not every member of the staff has to speak Portuguese, but if you try to, don't say "postre" or "muchas gracias", because that's Spanish... it's like speaking German to a French or vice-versa just because they share borders.
Ah, and yes, as others have stated, it's really expensive for what you get.

P.S.: next morning, we were both sick with diarrhea! Great!...
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL !

Came here for lunch and we were one of the first tables being seated.

Lunch hour was not super busy but service was slow. It took our waitress 10 minutes to come over to take our orders, at one point, I was going to get up to see where she was to flag her down because over lunch hour on a weekday, you’re usually on a time crunch (Chase staff, please take note of this).

My friend ordered the halibut and I ordered the tuna dish, everything tasted great, portions were just right. I’ve been to Chase a couple of times pre-pandemic and the quality of food and taste wise is still consistent.

Dessert was AMAZING. If you have extra space in your stomach, order the strawberry pavlova, it’s not too sweet and it was such a refreshing dish!

The Chase offers innovative, memorable, and great dinning experience. We had the pleasure to try the black cod and the steak along with the side of brussels sprouts and truffle mac & cheese. For dessert, we got the chocolate layer cake and cheesecake. All of the things ordered were amazing and cooked to perfection. It was also well presented and neatly plated. I think this place is also ideal to celebrate special occasion or for corporate function.

The restaurant's décor and ambiance were amazing, it feels cozy and warm. It also offers a nice a nice view of downtown Toronto from the rooftop.

The service was great, very professional, and the staffs were attentive to cater every needs. Looking forward to visiting this spot again.

The service here was great, the manager was helping out with the tables and seeing that was a sign to me that service is a top priority.
I was disappointed they only had the summer menu which wasn’t as exciting as some of the items I saw on the regular menu.
The burrata and the octopus carpaccio were the best things we tried. I enjoyed the different flavours they paired with the octopus- one of the best I’ve had in a cold appetizer.
The truffle mac and cheese was bland and underwhelming and the lobster pasta was okay, not super creamy or had any flavours had made it noteworthy. The atmosphere was lovely and the service is great but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back

The food portions and taste was disappointing. If you don't want to taste your seafood, love mint and are on a diet - This is the place for you.

The food was absolutely amazing, steak was cooked to perfection, lobster and crab meat were perfectly prepared, and the drinks were exceptional. The bartenders and servers were very pleasant and accommodating. Bathrooms were very clean. The only downside to the atmosphere was the patio view, there is just way too many buildings around, but if you like the view of buildings, it is fine. Definitely an upscale and fancy place to dine.

My husband and I are visiting from overseas and our cousin invited and booked us a table for dinner at The Chase. This is definitely a dinner we will always remember. The food, service and ambiance was just perfection from A to Z! We ordered Burrata, Mushroom, and the Scallops for appetizers. We ordered steak with sides of asparagus and Brussels sprouts for our entrée. We then ended our meal with the Sticky Toffee Pudding, Lemon Meringue cake tea and coffee. I've got to thank Chad for his amazing service and recommendations. He made our experice that much better.

For me I highly recommend the Burrata and Scallops they were both divine. I'd come back and savor those two appeizer dishes on any day. The creaminess of the burrata, paired with truffle is so good, it made my heart happy! The freshness of the Scallops and symphony of flavors in the sauce was absolutely stunning! The steak was cooked to perfection and the mustard jus with the mushrooms on top was absolutely delicious! Smooth like butter. The asparagus had great grilled flavor topped with crushed hazelnuts for a toasty nutty crunch I appreciated and the brussel sprouts had a very yummy caramelised flavor and a tossed in beautiful sauce. The sticky Toffee Pudding will send you to cloud 9. A must in my book.

A huge thank for this beautiful menu offering and the Chef(s), kitchen and service staff for making our experience memorable. We will definitely return.

Wishing you all the best and continued success.

We loved this place! We went around noon and restaurant was empty. The service was good and fast.
We tried a bit of everything and everything was so good. The grilled octopus was the best dish from presentation to taste. We also loved three sauces (cheese), potatoes, mashed potatoes and fried zucchini. The fish was very well prepared and light. As a seafood lover I enjoyed dining here. It reminds me of Europe, of sea and summer. I wish it wasn't that expensive but highly recommended for seafood. We will go back!
This experience started with a 5 course meal groupon....and in true fashion we added on additional appetizers. Every bite of food was nothing less than delicious. The atmosphere felt like home and our waitress Elizabeth....treated us like we were family. She was so accommodating and on point. The icing on the cake was the Creme Brule that according to my husband was out of this world! Thank you Elizabeth (Molly too) for making this a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back no doubt!

Had a great evening here to celebrate a project completion. Staff were friendly and provided us the attention despite the larger group. After a bit of a wait, the food came. The squid, calamari and lobster were a hit! I also enjoyed the appetizers with the delicious dips. I thought the fish, believe it was sea bass, was ok and a bit on the overcooked side. But overall good experience.

I haven't had such an amazing dinning experience in a long time. We were 4 people and ordered the 96$ sharing plate for two of us & the MTL à table menu for the other two. EVERYTHING was delicious, well seasoned & perfectly portions. I cannot stress enough on how good the food was. Everything from the hummus, the bread, to the fish, pasta and seafood was perfect.

Our waiter was also extremely polite and nice. The service was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the menu which is always appreciated.

I loved the atmosphere which is very peaceful and intimate (perfect for dates).

The bill was about 170$ per person. With drinks. Every penny was worth it. Can't wait to go back.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The ambiance was incredible. Dinner was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. I wish I remembered our waitresses name because she was super sweet and she definitely deserves an extra shoutout!
Where do I begin? Restaurant in a hotel, you dont expect much. Wildfire Grill House is different. Food was amazingly delicious. Great presentation and flavor. Service was awesome. Elizabeth was a wonderful server. She knew right when to check on our table. We never waited for anything and they were rather busy. (7:00 pm on a Friday) The Groupon deal was phenomenal. Each meal came with soup AND salad plus an appetizer and dessert to share. Great deal and delicious meal. I'd eat here again, no hesitation.
Wonderful seafood options, guaranteed delicious meal. Went with their tasting experience which was 3 shared courses between two of us, plus a shared dessert. All meal items were delicious, with the dessert slightly underwhelming in comparison to the rest.

It's an expensive restaurant, the tasting experience being 96 dollars a head, and one might question the cost when evaluating the simplicity of what's on the table in front of them. An entire sea bass and a pound of octopus and squid probably adds up. Either way expect to spend around $70-$100 for an average a la carte order. That being said, portion sizes are good and flavours are wonderful. I left overly full and satisfied. I do recommend the tasting experience if you can fork out 96 dollars.

To note: the fish plate did not come presented like that, it was an entire sea bass on a shared platter which was portioned out onto our plates by our server. Best fish I've had all year easily. On the side was charred/grilled leeks, which were very good also.

One of my favorite restaurants in Niagara! Had the 5 course meal that was super delicious and great portion size. Atmosphere was great and restaurant has a great interior. Thank you to our amazing and friendly server Elizabeth who was super attentive and friendly. I would definitely visit again when I am in the area.

We took the Montreal a la table course, the quantity is definitely not enough for two adult. Four courses with no breads or rice. Sea urchin doesn't taste fresh. Two scallops and one sea bass only. Dessert was actually the best of the night. Not worth for 75$/person. Service was slow at the beginning, took long to place the order. But it was ok after. Expected more at this price.

Beautiful decor, great service. Presentation of each plate was appetizing. The waiter took the time to explain each course. Slightly pricey however worth the experience. Initially seemed small in terms of portions but appetite was satisfied rather rapidly. Overall ambiance was warm and welcoming and food was delicious. Definitely recommend!
Hands down the best service I've ever received in Montreal. Warm moist towelettes given between each service, every dish meticulously explain, I can't even begin to describe the taste, you'll have to try it for yourselves, every bite brought me to a different place, an absolute sensory overload. They have an inexpensive lunch menu and a mesmerizing tasting menu. If I died and went to heaven, this is what the dining experience would feel like it. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star. This is where I send friends and family when the ask for a dining recommendation.
