The Peace Bridge in Calgary is an architectural marvel and a must-see landmark. Its striking design and vibrant red color make it a beautiful addition to the city's skyline. The bridge provides a scenic and enjoyable crossing over the Bow River, perfect for both pedestrians and cyclists. Its thoughtful design and aesthetic appeal make it a popular spot for photos and leisurely strolls. A visit to Calgary isn't complete without experiencing the Peace Bridge!

Beautiful place to relax as you have a park by the side and the bow river flowing below. It was raining though when we went but if it was a sunny day it would be beautiful.

I got to go up the path way and get a view of the city at night, oh gorgeous at night when the moon is out and the stars, perfect weather as well, no rain, I enjoyed taking pictures that are breath taking, I want to blow these pictures up and put them on my wall. It was also very clean the pathway and surrounding area, surprised!!
Great views, lots of points for good photography and videography. You can take a walk, do ice skates in winters, enjoy in the park , enjoy the river and its activities. Lots of things to do or place to visit with your friends who are here on vaccation

a remarkable landmark in the heart of Calgary. available street parking which is 2hr located by the residential area in front of the Peace Bridge. Crowded however, best time to visit is during the slow time of the day where people are at work and kids are at school.

This is a nice area in the middle of bow river. The peace bridge has seen lots of issues in the past but now it’s restored again.

There are usually lots of people when you cross the bridge towards downtown. Summer is great here too with musicians and ice cream trucks on the other side.

Good walk on the bridge on a winter day. Flowing water below with the chunks of ice was wonderful to watch from above. The frozen overflow on the sides was the icing. We walked on the frozen water and saw kids ice skating there as well. Was a great walk around the area on a cold afternoon.

Nice and quiet bridge with peaceful garden that surrounds it. The view from here is also peace and I think this is why it’s is named after the peace one can find here.

Casual walk post meal feels relaxing. Come and find peace within.
The Reconciliation Bridge is an oldish truss bridge originally built in 1910 and originally called the Langevin Bridge (named after Sir Hector-Louis Langevin, one of the fathers of the Canadian Confederation). The bridge took on its new name in 2017.

The bridge is a typical structure for the time it was built, and is the third oldest of 4 surviving examples of this type of bridge in Calgary. Truss bridges, i.e. bridges made of interconnecting triangular units, look like an engineer's dream. It looks like its made of giant Meccano.

The bridge is attractive during the day and well lit up at night. The bridge connects into the Bow River Pathway system, and has pathways for pedestrians to cross the river (as well as cars).

I recently moved to Calgary. Vchlra drove the bridge - and it is very beautiful! I recommend everyone to visit this bridge
Bike paths are clean although has some ice patches. Maybe good to have walking poles for extra stability.

Nice stop at Angels Cafe.
Love edworthy. Good variety of areas for sun or shade, hike trails picnic, sit by river. Only hard part is dodging cyclist racing thru the park and over bridge. Toddlers don't understand or manage stay to the right. Many cyclists impatient with kids. It's a safety thing, walk your bike over the bridge . Relax for that short distance thx
Fantastic bike ride or even a walk along the path way,I done both you not he disappointed, the river flows fast and ton of people on infatables going down the river bow many bridges to cross and, parks to chill out,
It's a most.

Scollen Bridge along 101 25 Ave SW, Calgary, AB under construction starting today, July 21st. BRIDGE CLOSE. Local Traffic only.

Close between July 21st - July 26th.
Beautiful view to the south side, pictures don't represent the real view though. Workout tools near the bridge are cool 👍🏽.
One of the best parks in the city. That being said, parking is a real challenge. Lots of picnic tables but you need to book a shelter or fire pit in advance. Angels cafe is awesome.
Google wants me to review a bridge?

Okay, well, it seemed sturdy. At no point in my venture did I feel like I was in danger. The bridge allowed me to cross over the cold fast waters of the Elbow River. I'm a poor swimmer, this is an important thing for me.
The bridge was wide enough for myself, my bicycle and other humans to also venture over the waters at the same time.

I am glad the bridge was there.

Thank you City of Calgary
We had a great day hiking in Edworthy Park! Perfect weather, ice cream at the Café and the view from the top of the hill was awesome. The kids had an awesome time playing in the park after the hike, too. Tons of equipment and places to explore for them!
It is a lovely place to walk. The trail is comfortable. The view of the Bow river also great. Especially when it's wintee time and some the water is frozen. You can walk along the Bow river trail or follow the Fir Douglas Trail.
old name was great

Yet another bridge which does its job adequately. Provides a good way to cross the river either on foot or on a car.

I found it difficult to find but once found the colors it is painted made me smile. I love the rainbow under the bridge and that it includes the rocks. I wish the poles were also painted. Great photo opportunity.

3 stars for the bridge itself, however the amount of garbage underneath I was shocked. Be wary of the stairs on the other side if your alone at night it is extremely dark. My suggestion to the city is out in some lights.
This bridge is only for trains! HACKS!!!
