Charter came 2 hrs late. No consideration for passengers. Apparently this is pretty standard for amik and people avoid when possible.

My grandparents have been flying with Amik for months now and have never had issues. They have a little 14 year old toy poodle who was recused from a puppy mill over 12 years ago. He’s deaf, weighs about 6 pounds, and relies on my nana as his support. He also has a broken leg that never healed properly. We've noticed that when my grandmother travels with my grandfather there has never been a problem with Max flying in his bag attached to my grandmother. However, since she's been flying by herself, she has had issues with Barbra or Pat telling her Max would need to be kenneled. Max is bound to get injured in one of those kennels due to him not being able to properly stabilize himself, especially during turbulence. The safest way for Max to travel is in his dog bag, and we are able to get that in writing from our local vet. Today before her flight they told her that he would need to be put in a kennel yet again.. After I complained that Max has flown with my nana by her side every single time, and that he can get seriously injured flying in a kennel they finally allowed him to board in his bag but, Barbra thought it necessary to add a kennel fee, even though Max wasn’t going to be in a kennel and they’ve never charged for this “kennel fee” before. I asked for past invoices for proof and Barbra refused. My grandmother would have happily paid for his weight but adding a kennel fee that has never been added before is money gouging. Putting a 6 pound 14 year old dog who isn’t stable and can potentially be injured in a kennel is inhumane. Adding fees that have never been added before because Barbra the receptionist is upset is poor business. Please explain to me why you run your business this way?

Traveled via porter from Toronto to Chicago on 19th May 2024.. PORTER LOST MY CHECKED IN LUGGAGE!!! As my luggage had some valuable items I reached out to porter through a claim which is the official process. It has been more than 24 hours since i submitted the claim and there has been no update. Even after multiple calls to the call centre we only received a standard response that the team was looking into it. Would definitely suggest not to travel on this horrible airline.
Some back story on my issue - I was about to board a flight at around 9 PM travelling from Toronto to Chicago.
First issue- The flight is delayed. I do not really worry about this as these things are quite common these days. However if this bothers you please don't book via porter.
Second issue - I get called on the PA while the boarding for the Boston flight is on. I was surprised as my flight was to Chicago and not to Boston. I quickly approached the counter and corrected their mistake. Soon the lady realised they messed up my boarding formalities she called me over and took details of my checked in luggage. I was unaware of why this was being done. Finally I could board my Chicago flight and land at Midway.
Third issue - After landing at Midway, i realise my checked in luggage is missing and did not travel with me. At the Chicago Airport there is absolutely nobody from the airlines to help me resolve my baggage issue. After a lot of running around we were able to finally submit a claim
Fourth issue - There is not a single update on our ticket though it has been 24 hours since we filed it. I had called the customer care number multiple times to explain the urgency of my issue but they seem to have no clue. They are only trained in handling sales calls and absolutely have no service support details. We hit a dead end and now I am at the mercy of the airlines to get me my luggage.
PLEASE AVOID PORTER AT ANY COST!!!

Amazing customer services from Saint George at Porter Airline. My husband and I missed our initial flight. Saint George was very accommodating and supportive. He was able to reschedule us to the next flight with no extra costs. My husband and I are truly grateful for is help. Thank you Saint George!!

Staff at Bishop, on flights, great. What I don't appreciate is being at Logon, having a flight cancelled and NO Staff at gate to assist the night off cancellation; web chat queue and phone queue were on hold indefinitely. The earlier flight had no one at the gate and board still read 650 departure, at 650. The website in trying to determine options for a cancelled flight was ineffective. There was a woman in dire straights and the staff that finally were there, were ineffective and unsupportive. And THE ABSOLUTE gall, to say there's no room on earlier flights, but someone could still book a seat (at a hefty price) was insulting to all passengers stuck trying to find options. Flight crew and Bishop staff were good but Porter's process for dealing with cancellations suck.

If you don’t want your trip to be stressful, DON’T BOOK WITH PORTER AIRLINES.
Fyi: My purpose of travel is to attend a US Visa Appointment in Calgary. I just landed in Edmonton since my family is there and we are going to drive from Edmonton to Calgary.
We had a flight with Porter Airlines last March 10, 2024 at Toronto Billy Bishop Airport (Toronto- Ottawa and Ottawa to Edmonton). At first, it was all okay, their crew are all accommodating and nice. However, when it’s time for us to board, they said that are flight is delayed for two hours.
It was fine to us not until we landed to Edmonton, when we were about to get our luggage, our bag was not in there so when I saw one of their crew I asked if where’s our bag and then that’s the only time that she said that our luggage was DELAYED (I don’t get it because you should’ve inform all the passengers that their luggage was delayed, what if I didn’t ask the crew, so I am going to wait for nothing?!).
The crew said that our luggage will be delivered same time the next day, so I put my hotel address in Calgary, since I will be staying there.
The next day (March 11), since we don’t have any clothes, even underwear, we needed to buy some just for the day. We expected that our luggage will arrived that day so we just bought each pair of clothes for me and my girlfriend but guess what? our luggage DID NOT ARRIVE. We started to get anxious since my documents are on my luggage and when we called their customer service, it seems that they were blaming us!!!
March 12: This is the day of our US Visa appointment and we don’t have any toiletries, clothes, socks and even underwear with us, which is so frustrating so we had to buy all of it. so we can have a clothes to wear!!!!! We called the customer service again and the agent named Chris was so rude, we were just trying to get some help but all he does is to be rude us.
March 13 (Our Flight going back to Toronto): We only got our luggage in the day that we were leaving and since we bought some new clothes for us, they did charge again for our bags. Our flight got delayed for 3 hours going to Ottawa and our connecting flight going to Toronto was also delayed for 3 hrs!!!!!!
I cannot put into words the stress and anxiety that Porter Airline gave us. Yes they are cheap but their service is no good at all. I don’t recommend booking in here again. Their customer service is so awful!!!!

This was my first flight with porter and I'll do it again! They are a fantastic company. Back to the old school days of complimentary snacks and drinks. Staff was fantastic.

our return flight on Aug 30 from Toronto to Vancouver was the worst in my life. First one of two engines shut down midway there so we landed in Calgary as firetrucks lined the runway. No one from Porter at the airport seemed to be able to tell us how we were going to get to Vancouver. Finally they told us Porter will fly us back to Toronto the next morning and then that night to Vancouver...would have been over 1 1/2 days to get to Vancouver! Problem was both the hotels Porter uses at Calgary airport were full so we stayed in the terminal and I purchased full fare on Lynx for 7am flight to Vancouver. As yet, no reimbursement from Porter and no reply! Beware, they don't have contingencies in place.

If I could give this airline 0 stars, I would. I could not make any seat changes.
They had no way for me to go online and see the seating chart. She had to tell me over the phone what seats were available and she was very rude!

Flew Air Bravo for work and found the flight comfortable and relaxing. The plane was set up to allow for extra leg room. The pilots were skilled, but also very friendly.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with WestJet's baggage handling services, which compelled me to share my feedback. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter directly with the airline, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution.
During my recent trip on July 27, 2022, at Vancouver Airport, an incident involving my lost bag occurred, causing significant distress. The issue arose when a WestJet staff member mistakenly placed my carry-on bag on the luggage belt without attaching a luggage tag or seeking my permission. I want to emphasize that I did not intend to check in that bag as luggage.
To my dismay, upon arriving in Edmonton, I discovered that my bag was missing. I immediately reported the incident to WestJet's airport department and initiated contact with their claim department. Regrettably, despite their initial assurances, my bag remains lost, and the claim process has been unfruitful.
The lost bag contained precious jewelry of immense sentimental value, which cannot be replaced. I have provided WestJet's claim department with all the necessary information, including the estimated value of the items. However, their recent response stated that the file created in July was merely a courtesy file for search purposes. This contradicts the actual events, as the staff member acknowledged their mistake and assured me that the bag would be kept in the airplane for retrieval upon landing.
The prolonged duration without resolution and the significance of the lost items have deeply impacted me. I kindly request urgent intervention and a prompt resolution to this matter. If there are any additional steps, information, or documentation required from my end, please let me know, and I will provide it promptly.
I sincerely hope that WestJet will take this feedback seriously, investigate the matter thoroughly, and make improvements to prevent such incidents in the future. It is my belief that addressing this issue appropriately will not only restore my faith in WestJet but also demonstrate their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Porter is the best way to fly domestic when visiting Toronto. Why land at Person and spend $50 to get downtown - when you can land in the heart of downtown and walk to your hotel. Porter offers a quick and efficient check-in service – practically a fraction of the time of other airports. Plus, the ferry (boat) is a real treat for anyone visiting Toronto. It's a free boat ride; enjoy it!

The seats are so close together - both between rows and width wise - that it is painful to sit in them for several hours. Aisles are incredibly narrow. The food available to purchase on flights is awful. Only meal options on a 6 hour flight were penne pasta in a tomato sauce, and Mr. Noodle. We will try to find to find an alternative airline in the future.

Great staff. But the plane is so uncomfortable. I do not know how tall people can stand it. On my flight back I choice to pick my seat ahead of time and this way you get more leg room.

I was sent up north for work and when I landed . The pilot informed me they didn’t pack any of my gear .
They left all my work tools and safety equipment back at the terminal . All I was told by the pilot was good luck .
Being trapped up North without a single thing but the shirt on my back . Seriously not cool.
I definitely don’t recommend this poor service airline in the slightest.
Trying to contact them is a nightmare over a weekend since they don’t work Saturdays how am I suppose to make arrangements to have my gear .

Porter Airlines Toronto Hub is located at Billy Bishop airport and can be accessed by Ferry (the Marylin Bell) or by foot path under Lake Ontario.
Porter conveniently serves short haul flights in Canada and USA
Check in for Porter is straight forward with a helpful staff. Operating smaller turbo prop airplanes and the smaller airport venue means that Lineups are typically shorter than a major international airport. After checking luggage and making the way through security to the gates, Porter signage and gate information is readily available.
Note on checking luggage: do it. Don't bother with carry on. No matter how small a suitcase. Carry on storage on Porter planes is very limited and smaller than conventional modern jets. If they don't ask you to check your carry on at the gate, then it may not fit in the overhead bins and you are stuck with the bag under your feet.
Duck your head when boarding. I travelled with my 5'2" daughter and she still hit her head on entry.
Once seated, you will find no USB or power charging, so ensure you have any devices you plan to use in flight, fully charged.
The seat cushions are a bit thin and you may notice the seat frame is painfully digging into your legs and back. Do not worry. This goes away. Yes, after your torso goes numb from the hard seats, you won't feel a thing.
Earplugs or noise cancelling headphones are suggested as the noise and vibrations from the turbo proof tends to carry through the plane and is louder than a jet once in flight with the combination of sound and higher air density at the lower altitude.
The lower flight altitude is a bonus though, as the visibility is much better and the flight offers excellent views, more than compensating for the lack of in flight entertainment.
Snacks and beverages are offered on the flights. While I simply enjoyed some soda water, many passengers enjoyed a stronger beverage. The in flight snacks are also great ranging from nuts and chips to a few other goodies.
Although the flight was not the most comfortable I will continue to fly Porter thanks to the great staff and decent pricing.

I have taken 2 plane tours of Toronto city and both experiences have been absolutely phenomenal. Mind blowing views of this beautiful city we call home ❤️ I highly recommend.

Flight Regina to Whitehorse via Calgary and Vancouver.
Delayed 24 hours in Vancouver. Had to argue for hotel and meal vouchers. Took 4.5 hours to get my bag there
Arrive in Whitehorse 25 hours late. Two hours before plane departed Vancouver, email says my bag will be late. Confronted customer service, asked them to put my bag on the plane as there was two hours still before it left. No answers. No bag
Two days later got my clothes.
Returning to Regina. Delayed in Vancouver for three hours. Plane was literally headed to runway, we turned around back to gate as someone left a laptop on previous flight. 3 hours later and 100 people missing connecting flights, I’m now stuck in Calgary with a standby ticket as they couldn’t put me on the next plane cause it was business class seats. Lol. Empty business class but I didn’t pay for that so instead of getting me home 5 hours late, they’d prefer to make it 25 hours. Had to argue and go to two different service desks for meal vouchers.
Now I wait but I’m sure my bag won’t be in Regina when I am. Lol. Faacckkk. Worst customer service ever. Use any airline but air Canada.

West Jet flight cancelled in Toronto but agent in London did not tell us. Flights were rescheduled by 12 hour difference. So we flew on our scheduled flight out of London at 6:30 am and then had a 12 hr stopover. This is unacceptable. Agents should make it clear flights have been changed and it should not be a 12 hour wait.

I booked a flight with Trade North Aviation to Churchill, Manitoba and I must say my expectations were exceeded. Overall terrific experience, not only were the pilots extremely professional but they accommodated my every need. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I had a safe, comfortable and enjoyable flight. I will definitely be flying with them again, as well as highly recommend to anybody looking to book a flight.

SUCH A SCAM!!! They are booking flights without actually intending them to leave and cancelling them without telling you. I booked twice now with them doing the same thing and they won't give your money back. My first set of flights were just cancelled no refund or anything unless you go through a process (if you notice before you get to the airport). The second flights went from getting there in one day to a 16 hour layover and I wasn't told or notified. They just want you to buy flights and have to bank the money and book with another airline. Save the gray hairs and loss of money and just book with another airline.

My province states that expired ID is still valid during Covid and to wait until your local area makes an announcement about renewing expired ID if you’re unable to renew online (which I am). Upon booking with Westjet, at no point during the booking process or any of the notices sent, do they mention that they are not accepting expired ID during Covid. During regular times, I get it, but when my province says it’s still valid but Westjet makes their own rules without communicating, it’s very confusing. More than a quarter of my flight had expired ID when we went to board and thankfully for them all except 2 of us could renew online and they showed their phones to the attendants and could still board the plane. I was denied boarding and then had to beg to be rebooked for the next day so I could go to a Service Ontario and renew my ID. They put me on a 5am flight the next day, when I arrived, I found out my flight was cancelled and I received no notification of the cancelation. I had a connecting flight in Toronto I was also going to miss and they refused to reschedule. I ended up spending a total of $89 in Ubers in 2 days, $100 in gas and $100 at Par-N-Fly as I had to drive to Toronto myself and my flight home was to my actual city which could not be moved to Toronto so I then needed to find transportation to Toronto to get my vehicle. AWFUL customer service. I will never fly Westjet again.

Flew to Kingston for a weekend break with FlyGTA and had a wonderful time. It's very casual and different from flying with a commercial carrier, and thus so much more pleasant and enjoyable. The aircraft were small (a Beechcraft King Air and Piper Navajo, to be specific) and it felt sort of special to be able to fly to another city on something that seats 7 instead of 200. Not to mention, since you're flying decently low, the views are incredible the entire time. Touched down in Kingston after 40 minutes, which is hugely preferable to 3 hours on the 401. Will totally be flying with these guys again.

I got a Groupon for my husband as his birthday gift. Had issues with the Groupon from the beginning, so called the Flygta a few times to figure out how to make this happen and the girl (I believe her name is Jessica) on the phone was always extremely helpful and walked me through all the booking process even all this was very last minute.
The whole process of booking a flight, getting to the airport and waiting was very good. Everything was very well organized and easy, the office is pretty new, waiting area is nice.
We booked the group flight, but nobody else has booked at that time, so got to enjoy a private experience. The pilot (I believe his name was Darek) was very friendly, took a few photos of us.
The view was amazing! We got lucky to enjoy a very sunny day with no clouds, so all the scenery was unbelievable.

Amazing experience. We booked private a Toronto tour for 2. Our pilot Juan was very knowledgeable and experienced, super nice. We enjoyed every minute of the flight, the views from the 6ix were just fantastic. Mehrad at the reception desk also provided exceptional customer service. Thank you!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! My flight got automatically rescheduled from 10:00pm to 7:00am (which wouldn't be possible with my itinerary). Since then I've tried almost everything available to fix the issue. The flight manager on the website doesn't work, none of the buttons respond (tried this on three different web browsers and my phone)... Next, their customer service number has ~5 hour wait times. I used their clunky service to schedule a call, and they never called me back! Then I tried using their customer service chat function, and after a week of messaging them every day, they still haven't responded back... Hoping someone at the company reads this and reaches out to help. Service is so bad it's unbelievable!

Great airline. This review came from the perspective of my family experience flying with Air Canada Express. Airline was great. My family flew out of Calgary to Fort McMurray to pick up a broken down truck from a previous business trip. Flied Westjet Encore on the first flight back to Calgary, and the plane was absolutely filthy with dirt, dust, and rocks in the overhead compartments for luggage. Their propeller planes were way to dirty in general so we switched to Air Canada. The plane was phenomenally clean, and the plane ride was just very good in general. Great service, and nice plane condition. Would totally reccomend this airline to anyone needing a shorter but more healthier way to fly.

I had an amazing time from start to finish. Instructions to get to the IflyGta hub were very clear and helpful. Upon our arrival we were greeted and welcomed by the staff. Shortly thereafter we were brought to the back room to watch the safety video. After the safety video we had a question and answer session. They distributed our champagne bottles and brought us out to the plane. The pilot was very attentive, he made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Throughout the flight he offered information, answered our questions and cracked a few funny jokes. The flight was unbelievable; everything I had hoped for and more. This was by far the closest and best view I have ever seen of the CN tower. This was an amazing experience, I will be back again. They also included the photo package with my reservation, this gave me the opportunity to go back onto the tarmac for some nice photos. I recommend purchasing the photo package if you want to get a time slot to take nice photos. I absolutely recommend this experience with IflyGta.

An easy and fun way to travel! Decided to try FlyGTA and land at Muskoka Airport to join family at the cottage. For this local flight you cross over to the Toronto island airport and walk out of the terminal and directly to the FlyGTA waiting office -- no lines, no customs, no stress. Billy Bishop airport rocks! Decided not to have my 5 year old ride for free in my lap, which was good because the seats are quite small/tight. (I think our plane had seats for 8 passengers total?) I had read that the engine noise is loud so I brought ear buds for me and an earphone headset for little guy - just to tone it down. For 30 mins flight time it isn't a big deal, and the city views at take off are amazing, with things to see all the way enroute. Eventually my over-excited kid fell asleep and didn't wake up upon arrival because our landing was so smooth.

Amazing experience, great staff and pilot, you have to try it more then once even. Short lived however, I think the actual ride is advertised as 30 minutes, I think the take off and landing is included in that duration which kinda disappoints you if you are in the air and thinking ok I still have 10 more mins to enjoy this ride. Other wise great experience if you wanna see another side of the city. Make sure you check weather forecast before booking.

WHAT A DISGRACE! ...Thanks a lot for making my mom sick in a 5.5 hours flight by not providing her with any food or drink even though it was pre-paid on the ticket and I requested special assistance for her and on top of that she was left alone sitting for more than 45 minutes in a wheelchair inside terminal 1 of Pearson airport in Toronto. How miserable are you to mistreat an elderly lady in such a way? I do believe there is a minimum of training required by law to work in customer service. Smooth flight but HORRIBLE treatment to my mom. It is a disgrace I used your airline to bring my mom for first time to Canada. You have excelled at ruining my mom's first visit to Canada.

Air Canada flight from regina -8431-sat on the tarmac for 1.5 hours we were connecting with a Vancouver flight. We were told that the connecting flight was waiting for us at gate c50. We got to the gate and the flight had left an hour earlier. 7 of us stranded. Very poor service..I will never fly air Canada again after the run around and lack of customer service.

I bought their services via Groupon as a surprise birthday gift. I purchased the short flight over the city of Toronto. It was amazing being able to see Toronto from a birds-eye view.
The pilot and people at the front desk were very friendly, even took our photo right in front of the plane right after. The champagne gifted was a cute tough.
I saw they offer a similar experience to Niagara Falls. I would like to try that one next.

Some excellent staff, especially in London ON and concierges. Business class is very good. The problems are mainly their purchase of terrible Bombardier jets with no luggage space, and the diabolical shambles that is Toronto Pearson. Prepared for AC and NavCan to make any excuse to cancel flights to London ON.
