I accidentally bought expired BABY food from this location. Thankfully, my baby did not get sick. After this happened, I have found many other expired food items on their shelves. They must not check their shelves regularly.
Family run business been getting subs from them many decades from their original and various new locations. Best tasting subs.

If you tell the worker that you want a lean BBQ pork, they'll ignore you and give you the most fat one there is. So, you'll have to point at which one you want. The supermarket has most of the Asian goods (there's a whole section just for kimchi).
They got fresh noodles, Japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise, kimchi, all sorts of instant noodles a Chinese bakery, seafood section, meat section, vegetables and fruits section. A snacks section. Lots of snacks. Why are there so many snacks? There's also some crane games at the front of the supermarket.

Almost 60 for 5 items the prices in going crazy . The staff that I interacted with were all very friendly. The store was also clean .

I’ve visited Scarborough Town Centre in the past, but this time, I was pleasantly surprised by the positive changes. The addition of new decorations and stores has really breathed new life into the center. Whether you’re there for your shopping needs or just a casual visit, it’s a great place to be.

Had an amazing time at STC last Nuit Blanche. The displays are amazing plus most of the stores needed are here. Also had the chance to explore the newly open Ikea :)
Overall good mall. Crowded usually. Food court and many brands available, specially Indian brands as most of the crowd is Gujjus and mixed. Washrooms are not clean.
Metro is not for everyone. Basically it targets a specific group of clients. So either you like it or don't even bother going there.

This is overall a nicely variety of shops put together.
The traffic flow is horrible and when parking can be a tad bit frustrating cause it's so busy.
The people in the mall tend to be on the higher volume side.

My go to supermarket. It's clean, and you can get almost everything Asian at reasonable price. Best pow in GTA. You can get salmon for $5/lb on sale. Lobster for $8/lb. Fresh fruit and veggies too. Outside you can get the addictive freshly fried Chinese bread stick. You may have to wait in line for it.
It is a lovely mall, with a lot of stores and options. There is Walmart, IKEA, Decathlon..., and some restaurants too if you feel hungry after a long shopping 😁
Ordered Sev Puri and Grilled cheese sandwich. The girl named Kajal did a great job, the bread is crunchy making the sandwich so perfect and delicious. It’s worth the price, def going to eat here again.

It has all the supermarket departments. Parts of the store seems dark due to lack of bright lighting and lower ceiling. Daily fresh bread from bakery department comes out late morning, so anticipate to buy day old baked goods at store opening.

Dont be fooled by the name GREENS This wonderful old fashioned Grocery shop is also a place for organic meats and sausages A full deli with many hard to find cuts and a chocolate bar with organic chocolate treats and seating at the back of the store The produce is a bit more expensive than at other places but mostly organic and local We love their price point reward program and are frequent customers there We are almost at enough points for an organic roasted chicken! I wanted to bring to your attention to a incident that occurred during my recent visit to Central Fresh Market. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the unfair treatment and racist behavior I experienced from an employee named Steve.
On September 7, 2023 around 11:20Am I visited the store to purchase food for my little sister. As I approached the entrance, I noticed a line formed for students from the nearby high school during their break time. However, as a regular customer, I assumed I could enter the store without waiting in line. Unfortunately, Steve stopped me and insisted that I join the line, despite my explanation that I was not a student. He dismissively replied, "Doesn't matter, get in line."
I attempted to clarify the situation by explaining that I was not a student and even offered to show my ID as proof. However, Steve completely ignored my words and continued to let other regular customers enter the store without questioning them. I felt humiliated and discriminated against, as if I was being treated differently solely based on the assumption that I was associated with the group of students nearby.
Feeling upset and frustrated, I left the store and went to Tim's. Upon returning, I approached another employee to express my concerns about the unfair treatment I had received. I wanted to ensure that my voice was heard and that such behavior would not be tolerated in your establishment.
I believe it is crucial for Central Fresh Market to address incidents like these promptly and take appropriate action to prevent such mistreatment from occurring in the future. On the other, the owners have threatened to sue the city because they think the LRT makes it too confusing to drive to their giant parking lot. Meanwhile, their bicycle parking consists of a few ring posts bolted into loose bricks you can just lift off the ground. One certainly wonders if they're leaving revenue on the table by making it unnecessarily difficult to shop there by any means other than a car.

Missed the order. I ordered 4 porottas. But kept only 3. Crab roast tastes very sweet because of the large quantity of onions. Also the crab has gone bad.
Bad experience! Yesterday we went for dinner and we ordered appam, chicken curry and beef curry. Today all of us including the kid who ate these items got stomach upset. Seems like curry was old. Will never go to this restaurant again!

Nice groceries store with almost all you needa are available here. Fruit, Vegetables, Meat, Seafood and Poultry, Fresh or Frozen. Other daily groceries, bath, laundry and others.
Great produce selection, dry and fresh. Seasonal fruit I found here that you cannot find anywhere else in Vancouver: guava, quince, sour cherries, fresh dates!!

The staff raised their voice, literally shouted and insisted I could only choose from the display. It seemed like there was some ego involved.I left the shop feeling disappointed.

Today I bought at this store, and I bought a lot of stuff. Everything is going well until I go check out all the item, cashier is being rude and disrespectful, because we bought an durian but it was expensive and we want to put it back. We ask the cashier to return the product but she was look at me and my family with a disrespectful way and keep saying in Chinese in her mouth. Through this experience I don’t want to go back.

The meat section is usually great but everything else is overpriced. Absolutely check expiry dates on everything though because they're not on top of that.

I tried golgappa plate here . One woman Varsha, made that golgappa plate very well and very tasty. It was really good experience here having taste like India.
Great Asian supermarket with frills!! Most things you will want from an Asian supermarket are available here at a competitive price. As per usual, one should not expect any service at all. As per the well deserved and earned reputation of Ma And Pa styled Chinese grocery stores having poor customer service, this place is no exception. It is much better if you just go in, find what you want and proceed to the cash registers. The frills that this place offers is with their selection of prepared foods that can be enjoyed in the food court that has a handful of other food serving counters to appease most Pacific Rim tastes. Consistent with selection and pricing, this place is a solid Go To for everyday grocery shopping needs.

This is a 4.5/5 for me. The produce is fantastic, cheaper than pretty much every other store in terms of produce. The only issue is that this place doesn't have good selection of meat. But otherwise, this place is fantastic. Definitely worth going to.
Late in 'discovering' this little gem at Broadway/MacDonald. Good selection of fruits n veggies (btw, with latter, some are not always the freshest) but decent pricing. Plus loads of Mid East products like dolmas, pickled/fermented foods, breads and spices. My go-2 4fruits and an assortment of middle Eastern foodsfuffs! Check it out but be warned, place seems perinnally busy...
Prices are all marked up . 45$ for a bag of idly rice I understand it is due to ban . But near by store thiara was offering it for 22$ for same weight on same day same time . Just different brand . What in the world with this store always marked up prices than other stores

The biggest mall near to my residence so this is where I always hang around, shop or eat. Lots of stores to choose from and overall it is very clean. Washrooms are strategically located and very well maintained.
The Taste Market is big enough to accommodate hungry mall visitors. Lots of choices too.

I love this grocery store! They have everything you need and it has a small town feel. They have a hot bar and yummy chocolate shop too. I hope they aren't affected too badly by the Broadway construction!
This location of Panchvati Supermarket sells adulterated quality of Milk and Amul Cheese items.
Milk bought from this location was curdled up within 2 days.
In the Amul cheese individual cube packet, 2 of the cheese cubes were replaced with some inferior cheese (fake cheese) and repackaged. In the photo, the fake cheese looks yellow and rubbery rather than white and soft real Amul cheese. This is alarming since the store tampers with food quality by repackaging fake items in original Amul wrappers. Risking health of consumers, merely to gain more profit and not meeting expected food quality standards.
Be careful before buying any dairy products from this store.

I love this store so much. Everything is a $1-$2 cheaper than any other grocery store. They have really interesting and varied breads (different naans, tortilla type Persian bread, challah, etc). The produce can sometimes be a bit better but overall, would recommend shopping here. Do yourself a favour and buy the triple layer hummus with the olive tapenade 🤤
Unfair employment. My son got fired just because he missed a day of work. But his schedule was for Thursday ,July 20th, Friday , July 21st ,Saturday, July 22nd. Not Wednesday July 19th He is very upset. He loved his job. I will never shop there again.

I would never order Pani Puri from here. Their way of serving is very bad plus the girls who make the hol gappas dont even ask for the preference. The store says they had gol gappa in 7 different flavours which tempted me and my frnd to go for 2 sets. The buggest biggest that they are doing while serving gol gappa is preparing them before hand and placing it in the plate. Gol gappas are supposed to be served right awayto avoid the puris from getting soggy. Unfortunately, the first plate was filled with the green sauce which tasted horrible and when I asked the girl why all the gappas tasted the same she said “ she thought we wanted green chutney only (without even confirming) and didnot offer to replace the plate. And the second plate that had 7 different flavours tasted worse. They also messed up the order of some ither couple who were served before us!!!

I love this supermarket. It has everything I need for cooking and more. The produce is fresh and the bakery has delicious pastries. The grocery section has a huge variety of sauces, noodles, snacks and drinks. The food court is small but has some tasty options. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great place to shop!

Then when I got to the Checkout (#6), the Cashier told me my total, and when I asked to use my Scene Points, she rudely told me that I'd have to wait until the very end, and she would let me know if I can use them! I was shocked! I've Never been spoken to that way at that store, or any other store! I'm very polite, so there was absolutely NO reason to speak to me in a very rude manner! I almost left my groceries! I did speak with another Cashier before I left to let her know what happened, and although she was nice, she didn't offer an apology, or a resolution.

Small, but mighty. Lots of good, organic, and local produce. Excellent butcher. Family-owned. Free parking at the back
The store has different snack items and pickles. We didn't tried pickles but saw some. Basic groceries were there. The good thing I felt is the staff greeting and treating with good smile.
Great small local grocery. Has a deli with in house prepared foods for taking home. Free one hour car parking at ground level off lane with direct entrance to store. They even allow me to park my bike inside while I shop!

I recently visited a grocery store and it was a great experience. The store was well-stocked and the prices were very reasonable. The manager was especially helpful and friendly, and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for great service and a wide selection of groceries
Fantastic service from the helpful staff along with excellent produce, fish, sheep’s milk yoghurt (!) regional sausages types I’ve never seen before and that local meat cut by their own butchers. Also the small but comprehensive bulk section has dried mango slices that make my mouth water just typing this and thanks for the unroasted buckwheat groats. This store and all the others certainly deserve a property tax break during the Skytrain extension construction.

Great food that has a great tasting masala mix that isn't just a ton of spices and heat. It was really good without getting a ton of acidity or burning your tongue. A lot of options.

I've been shopping at Central Fresh Market (formerly Central Meat Market) for many many years. The best meat selection in the Region of Waterloo. My favourite are the Pigtails (short cut). So many choices for pork and beef. They make their own ground beef. If you want a special cut, just ask at the counter. A large selection of European products - my source for Hayward's Pickled Onions. Great selection of produce -- Cipollini onions and loose Yukon Gold potatoes. Excellent customer service!
The shelves are stocked well. However, as you walk into the store you are greeted with a blast of stale air. Understandably during winter months there is a concern for ventilation, but would be nice to have some air circulating through and out to prevent this.
Also the aisles are narrow. Again, understandable with the variety of products made available.
If it wasn’t for the stale air that made you want to get out of there as fast as possible I’d have given it his place an extra star.

I've always liked the range of organic and specialty items here, but today my taste buds went next level deliciousness! Their kale salad!! What a recipe, with pecans, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, mango, citrus, in a sweet dressing....oh my, almost want to drive across town for another serving!
Located inside the Bridlewood Mall in Scarborough. This is a huge chain and this particular branch has everything you need for your daily needs. Check out their flyers on Flipp or on their official application for the current offers. There are self checkouts available as well. They accept all kinds of payment methods. One of the supermarket chains in Toronto Ontario. Didn't have to wait in line for the checkout.

Gujarati (Indian) store where you can find each and every product from India in a very affordable price and also the customer service is very amazing and fast. Also they offer the fresh premade roti which would be very beneficial to students and live store for Indian fast food.
Not the best Panchavati like other branches of theirs. Although it’s located on the main road that is a welcoming factor for shoppers, the store is quite small and congested. It takes a lot of time to get the billing done during hours in the day. If you are in a hurry or want to shop with enough space, this may not be for you.But, they have many Indian grocery items and powdered shrubs that you can’t find at other stores.
Nice and clean store. May not carry every brand name but their store brand is usually quite comparable.

Very good and tasty food items from Fiji.I live in Toronto and I can't get those stuff here and I found them in Fijiana Imports Limited in Vancouver. Highly recommend it.
Jim and Sam are amazing. They remember how much I like mangos and let me know when some ripe ones are ready.
I used to come here often but recently the produce quality has been hit or miss. The store also looks less clean and a bit run down. However, they do run very good deals here so always on a look out for promos. The adjacent food court is great. Parking can be quite a challenge at peak hours.

Ive been going to bay grocery for over 9 years here, every day my dad would take me out and grab a bottle of soda or chocolate milk, I came there again after my father and just passed to be accused of stealing a can of coke, I have never been so humiliated by people I thought I could trusted and had known me for as long as they have, Even my father would of been extremely disappointed. shame on jim, sam and his sister they used to be so lovely but I definitely would avoid shopping here in the future unless you want to called a stealer
Good and large grocery store with a food court. It looks like a mini mall with everything. They had lots of items. I was able to recognize few things without knowing Chinese. But few things it is not translated in English and it is hard to know what the product is. But, i liked the store. It was organized nicely and the things were good. Staff were friendly. Thank you:)

This Store has Great Deals!! Pricing on some products way too much.Staff are Very Friendly.Parking at times are difficult.

Amazing service here. The owner was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend this place for the food as well as the service. Everything we got from here we delicious. We got a beef puff pastry, chicken lollipop, mutton curry and chicken kothu paratha. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity provided. I will definitely be going back if I'm in Mississauga.
I came in here and they aren't very sanitary. When picking up meat the owner didn't use gloves or wash her hands before handling the meat as she was doing other things in the store prior to assisting us. They sell fresh chicken and I know my family has been going there for years but proper handling and being food safe is very important.

Very disappointed, I called in advance to verify that they had saffron in stock. The girl on the phone said she would personally check, and that they did. Then when shopping 30 minutes later, they didn't have it, nor have they had it in stock for a while. Very disappointing customer service.
I love the selection of grocery items in particular that they have. Excellent customer service staff and their points programme, monthly customer appreciation day are a plus. Shop local :)
We just left this place because one of the workers there before we entered the store was rude to us outside in the parking lot just after we parked. He asked me if I saw what there customer only parking sign said assuming we were parking there to go somewhere else. We will never give this place our business again. Go to Fiji Island Supermarket where they understand good customer service.
Good Chinese grocery store with variety of goods. Used to sell at very good price. But since pandemic, the price has increased a bit. Lots of people but always have good control on physical distance. Line up at entrance and most counters inside is a norm here.

Place has unique brands and items. They don’t have tons of collections but some srilankan, some Indian collection. Narasus Udayam filter coffee wasn’t found anywhere but this place had it. I called before I went here and they checked, confirmed that they had the item. I really liked that they didn’t just say yes for the sake of answering. I did mention to them that their store had unique items and they were courteous.

Bought spicy peas from there ,came home opened it next day and it wasnt fresh . i go back to store asking for refund but the owner the GUY said to his wife to tell me to contact the vendor for refund or complaints. wow for $6 dollars . what company tells a customer to contact vendor .
well they never gave me my refund and they have lost a customer who will tell 500 plus other fijian not to go to that store .

Honestly I have lived in this area for two years and love coming by to this place, the most friendly brothers run this store together and are always super helpful and kind. They even remember my boyfriends name and chat to us about our day and what we are cooking. Sam if you are reading this with your brother thanks for being a beacon in the neighborhood.
A small grocery store, parking is limited but they are never that busy. Its a good place to pick up fijian groceries (masala, fresh duck on somedays, vegitables etc..) Nice staff always ready to offer help.
Plenty of food/grocery items to choose from. Pricing is fair, and hours are good. As far as grocery stores go this is a good option to shop at. Plus they price match (or did last I checked) which makes them even better because you can get more items in one place instead of going to several stores
