My first time at this store looking for an air conditioner and I couldn’t find anyone there to help. I walked over to another department and some Ukrainian employee said he could try his best and if he can’t answer questions he will get the real expert. Anyway, he answered all my questions and he was very good at everything and I ended up buying the air conditioning unit.

I knocked off one star because I noticed quite a few of the staff just hanging around in groups chatting instead of looking out for customers we might need help. I guess I’m used to other Best Buy locations were their staff often let me know they’re ready to help.

Anyway, this location has a wide variety of selections and there is plenty of parking.

Very rude customer service. Requested a call back for a new cell phone. Never received a call back and that was 10 days ago. All of the owners comments back to the negative reviews with “this certainly does not align with…” really seems it aligns exactly with how he wants to run the business. Also telling customers to go to a website to request help instead of being able to call the store is disgraceful.

Just wanted to share an update. Because of my awful experience buying a washer/dryer here two years ago and never receiving the installation OR a refund on the installation I have spent two years warning people not to buy appliances here. I just bought a dishwasher from Costco and highly advise anyone looking for an appliance to go there instead.

I was interested in some small appliances and tried to order them online. Although, Donald was charming he was unable to assist me after being on hold several times. Feeling beyond frustrated I went to the Sherway location. I met Martin and any worries I had of another poor experience was completely erased. He gave me his full attention. He had a lot of product knowledge. Enthusiastically answered my questions. He quickly ascertained what I needed and addressed any concerns. With ease and no pressure at all he found the best solutions for me. Thank you Martin and Best Buy Sherway for a superb experience!

They are not transparent in their Bussiness. The salesman charged me for some annual subscription when I purchased a laptop last year, without explaining for what that was.
Automatically, they charged me again on my credit card again when it completed 1 year. Now when I visited the store to cancel, they advised to call customer care. I am trying to get in touch with customer care for 3 days. The waiting time is 2-3 hrs. I think, I need to take a day leave to get connected with them.
This is unethical and clearly cheating. Anyone reading this review be careful when dealing with them and not get cheated like me because of hidden charges.

***Worst Best Buy Store***
My recent visit to the Best Buy branch was disheartening, to say the least. Despite entering with the intention of making a substantial purchase, the experience quickly turned sour. Not only were the employees uninformed about their products, but they also displayed unacceptable behavior. I was harassed and threatened by employees in the store, who not only followed me around but also baselessly accused me of theft, despite having every item I intended to purchase placed in a checkout cart. This level of disrespect and mistrust is unacceptable from a reputable brand like Best Buy. It’s evident that there is a serious issue with employee selection and training, as individuals with impaired judgment should not be representing the company. While I was getting accused, there were more people who felt violated. These people were even accusing little kids with their parents, they have horrible customer service, never stepping back here, and we will be boycotting Best Buy because of this nonsense. Very disappointing that they hire such unprofessional people. Avoid this store at all costs.

Horrendous Experience at Best Buy Branch in Etobicoke. I regret to say that my recent visit to the Best Buy branch was utterly disappointing. From the moment I stepped in, it felt like I was a nuisance rather than a customer. The employees lacked basic knowledge about their products, rendering them useless when it came to assisting me. Instead of providing helpful advice, they shadowed me around the store as if I were a criminal, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Despite intending to make a significant purchase of over $2000, I was blatantly ignored and faced with accusations and harassments. This appalling treatment reflects poorly on the entire brand and severely undermines the reputation of Best Buy as a place for quality electronics and customer service. The employees in the following picture lack basic human decency, and have impaired judgments. I used to be a loyal customer of Best Buy for years, I’ve spend over $100k in the past 3 year, but Unless drastic improvements are made, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, and I’ll be sure to spread the word about this abysmal experience.

We tried to buy a phone case. We waited a long time for the consultant. After we waited for the consultant, she came, chewing gum, reluctantly answering questions. Service and customer relations are at the lowest level... I do not recommend Best Buy to anyone... 0 stars for you!!!

Disgraceful. Went in to buy a galaxy watch 44mm in size. Sales rep informed me I could get one with the s/m band. Under that pretense, I purchased it and drove home to find out he had given me a m/L band. Drove all the way back to talk to customer service and told them my issue. They went back and tried to sell me a 40mm size. I had to assert that I wanted the 44mm with the smaller band. Senior rep came over and told me that the 44mm watch only comes with the larger size band. No compensation was offered for misleading me and wasting my time and gas. Do not shop here. The staff are unkowledgeable, untrained, and unprofessional.

-edit after arriving home and checking the receipts they ended up charging me more for the watch then what I had already paid for it!!!!!!!! The worst shopping experience I have ever had.

I recently bought a laptop and iphone and I was really satisfied with the service given by Bhan and Derek. Both of them clearly explained me everything in detail. I really wanna appreciate Derek's customer service as he was so patient to explain each everything clearly and also wrote down everything for me whereas it was just the opposite I experienced from another employee when I first went there to get a phone. So I think it depends upon the sales person we deal with. Over all, I was satisfied with best buy service and I wanna thank both of them for their help and service.

Unacceptable business practices. Bought a $2400 computer there a year ago, was sold on the extended warranty that costs $600 SPECIFICALLY because it included accidental coverage and I have a young child. This week something finally happened that left the computer needing repairs and when I went to look to create a service request I found out that the warranty sold to me was a lower-level one that does not include accidental coverage. Called the call center who said I had to go into the store (understandable since it was their screw up) and when I went in I was told there's nothing they will do even though their salesperson lied to me. I've bought most of my tech here for the past 4-5 years and will not be returning due to their lack of willingness to fix their mistake.

Update, called Bestbuy as requested in their response and was pushed back to the store who, again, would not assist.

Recently been there and looking for fuji films, found it on the shelves, and brought beside a computer and since I took 5 packs and I can’t hold it. So put it in my bag. And went looking for nano leaf they don’t have. And walked out the store. I forgot to pay for the films which is 200 dollar the guy chased me out saying I steal the films. But I just forgot to. So I went in the store paid for it and said sorry he said he can arrest me for this but I literally just forgot. I mean I have a Range Rover sport which is 120000dollar and own 2 gas stations. Why would I steal 200 bucks. And the security keep saying I need to calm down. However i was really polite to ask him to delete the picture which he took of me. Never come here again. Nobody should even come here

1st off my buying experience at this location was far beyond my expectations. I was looking for kitchen appliances. Martin took care of me. I was flabbergasted with the amount of information and knowledge he provided during my visit. I have never had a more informative sales representative as Martin. I had a very trying experience regarding cancellation of the Geek Squad because my computer died and had just purchased again Geek Squad to see what was wrong but they couldn't even get into my computer so I call them back to cancel then they said I had to pay for the whole year $248.61, but I said they couldn't get into my computer and had to go the the store Best Buy and CJ & Cory came back to say they would honor the cancellation and waive that amount...I had a car accident so was unable to go into store 4 days after getting the Geek Squad...
So please be aware of all charges and small print....i had used Geek Squad from 2012 until 2023, since my computer was great so I had cancelled then had to order again...then this became my nightmare....very happy for out come with these 2 men 💜💜🥵🥵

I went to dollar tree with my little brother (6)my little sister(9) and big sister (14) and I’m (12) when we first walked in we didn’t even get a hello we just got a dirty look. We didn’t think anything about it until we went to the Candy aisle and all of the workers started surrounding us and then when we went to check out this one worker yelled “Ashley these little kids are stealing in are store again” and then pointed to us. We in fact were NOT stealing and even after that we didn’t say anything and just went to buy the candy then the lady decides that when we are buying our stuff that she wants to stand next to us and watch while giving us dirty looks the whole time.We were very uncomfortable the whole time and a week earlier we went and the same workers gave us dirty looks and rude comments. I don’t recommend shopping here.

I'll start with this: I hate going to Uptown. It is my least favorite 'mall' to go to in Victoria. I will do my best to avoid going there unless I truly have to. But certain places force it and Best Buy is one of them. I recently had to go there 3 times in one month to buy/exchange items until I found the right ones for my situation. And everytime the staff I dealt with were all really helpful, knowledgeable and professional. It was not at all what I expected. And I need to give a special shout out to Alysa (?) in customer service. She happened to be the one helping me with all my returns, each time. She was truly lovely to deal with. I thought I was bringing her complicated situations but she got what I needed right away and just fixed it. She had suggestions to streamline things, and made every return painless, I was in and out in 5 minutes. I now have all the things I need for my work and a new perspective on this store. I'll still loathe Uptown, but Alysa and all the staff at Best Buy have made me a happy, and returning, customer. I hope they're all being paid what they're worth. Without them, Best Buy would not have gotten my money. 😏

I'm torn with this review, do I leave a 3 or 4 star. The young man who came to assist us, was polite and tried to be very helpful. I am leaving a 3 star because we waited for 14 minutes for anyone to ask us if we needed help as we stood in the same location by a cabinet. At least 5 staff walked by us without asking. I finally had to go looking for someone and found 2 chit chatting together by the TV's......I had to interrupt their conversation, asking for some help. We ended up buying what we were looking for online from another supplier, just so Best Buy didn't get our business.

Great service. Been at this location since their former days when it was Future Shop before the acquisition. The floor rep was nice to help me rule out my decade old wall plug USB-C charger was crapping out versus the charger port of my Samsung device. After deciding this versus wireless charger, second rep on the till was super nice to point out to head over to customer service will take my old charger for recycling.

All in reasonable time. When I'm in a pinch and can't wait for Amazon, this place is decent for most basic electronic needs.

Heed my warning: do not come and shop at this Best Buy if you are not South Asian, Asian, or Caucasian.

This is what happened to me. Today, November 27, 2023, I had to pick up my online purchase for an Oral B io 10 series, which I was treated well because I purchased the item before I arrived.

But it was the second purchase; that's why I am leaving this review. I saw that Best Buy was selling the io 5 series for $99.99 (on sale), so I decided to purchase this item for a family member for Christmas. When I arrived at the checkout, the line was long. I was sixth in line, and the line was moving slowly, so two more cashiers came to the front to help move the line. When it came my time to cash out, I approached a young South Asian female cashier, and she wanted to know about my online purchase. I showed her the receipt with my ID and informed her that I was only purchasing the Oral B io5 toothbrush. Still, as I remained respectful to the cashier (from India), she treated me like I had no right to be in the store. When it came time to pay, my 'Tap' on my debit card didn't work, so the female cashier shouted, "Your card is not working; insert your card and put in your PIN." Now, this is where it gets humiliating. The cashier proceeded to take the item off the counter and place it on the floor behind the cash so she could talk to one of her colleagues. Where I was cashing out, there were two other cashiers to the left of me with customers. After I paid, the cashier returned and said, "The payment went through." Then proceeded to bend down and pick up the item off the floor. I looked dead in her eyes, "Why did you place my item on the floor?" The cashier replied, "I have to protect the item."

I snapped back, "From what? There are four people (two people at each cash), plus there are four staffers at the exit; how am I going to grab this and make a run for it?!" But I didn't stop there; I gave this cashier a piece of my mind. "Funny, I watched you cash out sets of two South Asian Families who bought a PS5 and an iPad, and the second Asian family bought a Macbook; you didn't take their items away when they were purchasing, but you took away mine. How would you feel if I treated you the same way? You came to my country, and you're probably an International student, who I am one Canadian who welcomes all newcomers because Canada is a meltpot of diversity, and you have the audacity to treat me like I'm a thief when I spent $460 with the item right in front of you?"
She rolled her eyes and I snapped back, "Really, you're going to roll your eyes at me? What you did was wrong. Shame on you for bringing your racist ignorance into my country. And if the tables were turned, how would you feel if I treated you the same way? We are both women of colour, regardless of our ethnicity; how would you feel if someone, or myself, treated you the same way?"

When I said what I said, I didn't raise my voice, I didn't yell at her, but I gave her a piece of my mind... I cussed her out without disrespecting her or causing a scene. The cashier took a step back and paused. She didn't apologize, but she stood there shocked. After I paid, I found a store assistant manager who gave me a $25 gift card, but I am going to another Best Buy location and return both the iO 5 toothbrush and the gift card. Why? I don't need her negative energy to be added to this Christmas gift. Plus, as I waited for the gift card from the assistant manager, I watched that same female South Asian cashier serving other South Asian customers waiting to cash, and she didn't take away their items while she went and spoke to her colleagues. She treated customers who looked like her with respect, so this cashier is racist, simple as that.

So, to those who are reading my review, if you are not South Asian, Asian, or Caucasian. Please, go to another Best Buy; Black Canadians, all ages and genders, are not welcome at this Best Buy. Save yourself the humiliation.

The most amazing experience with Rebekah on Black Friday of all days. She helped me every step of the way from purchasing my headphones I wanted to porting my number over to Virgin Mobile. She goes above and beyond to ensure you are well taken care of and goes out of her way to help out in anyway. I will be going back to this location and staying with Virgin Mobile purely because of Rebekah. My experience with her was so great that I am porting my partner's cell service over as well. Management, if you're seeing this, please give her a raise. She deserves it and she really demonstrates top notch customer service!!

Unless you know exactly what you're getting into and are knowledgeable about the product yourself, don't go here. My family had countless issues being told incorrect information and being sold wrong products over the years. Last straw for me was a couple of years ago when I purchased a phone and put $500 down. They never put the money towards my phone, my provider had no idea it is existed. It ended up being months of back and forth to get my money back. They weren't even able to find the receipt, I had to go to a different best buy location out of province to finally acquire the receipt and it still took another month to get my money back because they told me they could only give it in cash despite the fact I had paid in card. I don't know if this is accurate but I was under the impression that without my original receipt, had I paid cash, there would have been no way to find my purchase or get my money back. I fortunately did get my money returned and although the employees were kind, it is clear the company does not focus on training them and ensuring they have the knowledge they need to serve customers in a store where they are often spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

In September I bought an Xbox controller from the Charlottetown Best Buy, along with a 2 year warranty. A little over a month later I realized there was a problem with it so I went in to do an even exchange for a new one that worked properly. I was turned away and was told I could only mail it in if I wanted a new controller and that it would take over a month to get back to me. Regardless of the warranty process if I was sold a faulty controller I shouldn’t have to wait that long for something I paid over $250 for.

Two years ago , we bought a shark robot from charlottetown best buy and we bought 7 years warranty and payed $100 extra. Now the robot is not charging and we went to get a new one because we have warranty for 7 years but they said we can't get a new one because the price for a new robot is more expensive than this old. So they suggest that we can get a gift card $ and buy a new robot shark for $600.

BEWARE. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT Called "Bathroom Cleaner" from the Dollar Tree UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK IT SPILLING & POTENTIALLY HARMING YOUR PETS OR CHILDREN. The bottle is the cheapest thing Ive ever seen & there is no company name on it & ingredients are very difficult to read or see. When it leaked in the bag & I noticed when I got home because the cap was faulty & it a fourth of bottle ended up on floor.... long story short, I had to call the poison control line for animals & get a referal to take my dog to emerge. The toxicologist couldn't look up product & I sent pictures of the ingredients & front & back of the bottle & they couldn't even really determine the percentages of chemicals, etc... $500 dollars after going to the animal hospital, etc... I did my shopping at dollartree because my house was being renovated & I had to spend time at a friend's house. I told the friend I would clean up. I bought some cleaning products from Dollar Tree, which I don't usually go to but the store was in the area. Even if I saved money from the actual product being cheap, it definitely isn't worth the risk of animals and kids being able to get into it so easily because of defective bottles.
HIGHLY REGRET SHOPPING HERE & I won't be returning because of that traumatizing & scary experience. My dog is okay, thankfully..
Just hoping people who see this post won't buy this product! I called manager but they said they can't determine/control what products they stock & will talk to head office. (PS I normally only use natural/non harmful cleaning products, but the one time I shop at this store in a very long time & this happens before I could even use the product even! What a nightmare! I wouldn't shop here again or ever buy cheap cleaning products especially if you have kids or pets!)

I am soo happy and blessed to get a wonderful customer service from Fara, it was soon pleasure to get the help from jet and to resolve my problem within minutes. If I had a corporate I'm definitely hiring Fara as one of the leading customer Service Specialist. Kudos to The Source for hiring one of the best employees. I don't review like this but this store and Fara deserves it. The manager is also so calm and supportive to the employers and customers as well. Earned my respect with your services.

Great place. I met a Sale agent there, his name was Sarabjit. He is super friendly and very, very knowledgeable. I was planning to get a certain laptop, and he helped me explore some other different options and ended up getting a great laptop and saving money, too. His supervisor Dan( I guess) was there too, I have to admit that he as well was very nice and down to earth person. And, never forget Tyler from the Geek squad. He was also very patient and helpful. He helped me with setting up my laptop and installation of different apps. On another occasion, almost the same week, I also had the chance to meet Shaheer. He is with the phone's department. He advised me on the best phone plans to get for my son. He as well was fantastic.
It's been a while since I saw great people like these, all under the same roof. Keep up the good work, Best Buy 👏

I recently visited The Source at Scarborough Town Centre and purchased the s23 ultra. I had a wonderful experience, thanks to Mr. Thomas, who was extremely helpful throughout the process. I had the best experience today at this Location. They had a wide variety of gadgets at affordable prices. I bought Iphone 14 plus today, and had many mobile models in stock, I had completed my purchase in max 30 min, got credit check done with few seconds and got the mobile in hand. Soo happy about the purchase.
Sales Associate Fatima was soo friendly and guided me with lots of available offers and deals. She's so good at her job 👏👏. Sales associate sabit helped me in fixing the tempered glass and I am completely satisfied with their service.

This store has everything including an awesome selection of helium balloons! They have a really good price for their helium balloons too! The staff is really friendly and helpful. They are always available for help or questions and never busy to go the extra mile. Since finding out about their awesome selection I don’t go to any other dollar store. This is a great go to place for kids birthday party needs and they have pretty much most of what other dollar stores have but everything here is $1.25 - everything!

My dollar tree here in Trenton, Ontario is amazing. The store is always clean, the shelves are always being stocked and the staff is there to help you with help or advice anytime you ask for it. And never have I ever felt like I am a bother to them. The store manager, always has time to say hello to you and is there for any help or questions you might have. Thank you Dollar Tree for all you do in my store and to each of you working there...each one of you are truly awesome.

Being a loyal customer, no respect from cashier that's shame. Well now onwards I will go to dollarama or barging club. Cashier thinks she knows about virus more than me. So she forcing me like boss . I entered the business and I needed few things so it was quick in and out. I would take small card or something. But there was no cart or no one to say hello . So I bought the few things I need to and go to cashier. And here you find this boss asked me take a cart next time. I said I dont see here. Then she said i sneaked in . Really ?use proper language. First things you should know about customers is customer service. I rather to go to self checkout instead of this uneducated cashier .sad.

When you go to the Dollar Tree, you expect to purchase disposable items. But the manager is the one who should be disposed of. The staff clearly dislike him, as do most customers, I am willing to make the trip to the Belleville Dollar Tree, just to ensure a more pleasant shopping experience, and I do not want to give him any of my money! I would go to Toronto instead of here, Tony is a horrible person and has a weird obsession with everyone leaving their bags with him, he thinks everyone is stealing everything, he even blocked off the back door for a while(which is illegal) because he needs to see everyone going in and out. Terrible person, and deserves to have his store shut down. Will never be shopping here EVER again, that's a promise. I also heard Tony likes to unnecessarily ban people, he should be the one banned.

Was at the dollar tree today in Trenton and asked them to blow up a number 5 balloon that I have brought with me for they didn't have one in the store. So now my granddaughter's 5th birthday balloon sits on floor instead of floating with her other balloon that I bought in there store. Very upset with store's quality of customers satisfaction.

Dollar tree is a good place for low priced items , they have most of the items that you need it , big space parking , wheelchair accessible, the place is big and huge , they have a big collection from A to Z with low and good price the staff was so friendly and kind , they offer me help couple of times they are always smiling , I recommend this place for all families , and if you want anything just start with place you fine it or at least smeller to what you want with low price , the quality is good , thanks

I am an avid shopper of the Trenton Dollar Tree, however, I will NO LONGER be supporting this business. Mel is a disrespectful cashier. I was in line, waiting to be served, as an elderly gentleman was in front of me. He had maybe 5 items. I heard “Really?? I have to call my supervisor to approve this now!!” with sighs of frustration and anger from the cashier, because the gentleman had forgotten his wallet. How inconsiderate as staff. I have more respect for our seniors than this. I think there would have been a better solution to this, perhaps holding his items while he ran to the car, or telling him he can stop back and pick up any time. Expressing anger due to customer actions is WRONG! Customers are to be treated with respect! Mel thought it was appropriate to express his own anger, and annoyance to me, another customer once the gentleman left. This was so unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable, and unwelcomed in the store.

The store itself has a lot of cute little items and they keep the shelves well stocked. Can't beat the prices. However, I have not found customer service to be the greatest. At my last visit I walked up to the checkout and no one was there so I rang the bell, then I hear someone behind the shelf give out a huge huff and someone named "chris" marched up to the cash, doesn't even acknowledge me. He just grabs my items and rings them through and asks for my money and that's it. Maybe it's just me but I always thought serving customers was a part of your job in customer service, but I've been wrong before.
