Excellent food and great service. I had pad Thai and it tastes great. Also highly recommended their fresh roll, one of the best one I had in Thai restaurants:)
Amazing good, great service and stylish interior. I’ve tried a few dishes over time and they are all tasty, fresh and hot from the kitchen and good sized portions. Be sure to order the mango sticky rice for dessert - best in the city!

Had a lovely experience at Simply Thai Cuisine. Love the ambiance and decor thanks to the lamp system they have going. Sophia was an exceptional server, funny, caring and welcoming. Her colleague Saki was also extremely helpful with explaining the menu. Amazing price and service. Highly recommend and will come back again!
This place has such a cozy vibe. The lighting creates the perfect ambiance for a night out with friends or a date. Our servers Sophia and Saki were absolutely lovely. I’ll definitely be back! I ate all my food before I could take a pic! I got the peanut beef curry as my main and it was delicious though. They also make everything from scratch so you don’t have to worry about cross contamination if you have food allergies.

I usually don’t write reviews at all but the service and food was so so good that I just had to write one. We went in around 2 pm just to grab a quick bite but were greeted by the staffs friendly smiles and welcoming presence. We ordered our food which only took 5-10 minutes and it was delicious. The staff even offered if we wanted side plates seeing we were sharing. I never had a more friendly and caring staff in any establishment that stood out to me until I came to this location.
I ordered two portions of pad Thai, one spicy and one mild. Both are tasteless, inedible. No egg, no green onion, no peanuts, no salted radish. No flavour. There is more flavour from a packet of instant noodles.
Ordered Uber delivery today.. and it was OK. The Panang curry was super sweet.. sweeter than usual compared to most I’ve tried, and it had lots of potatoes which to me is not traditional. I chose calamari for my protein with my curry and the calamari didn’t taste that fresh, extremely dried out. Spring rolls were good, and the hot and sour soup was good, lots of veggies.

Seems like there is a new management in place for Thai Express. Service and food is awesome!!!! I will definitely come back. Love the smile on their faces.
Fresh ingredients, highly trained, professional folks make amazing dishes. Phat Thai is by far the best menu that I have tried. 10 out of 10 place with clean environment.
Today was the last time I came to this place. Last 2 times we had to throw out my husband's food cause we asked mild and without opening the takeout box could smell the pepper. Today i ordered pad Thai and when she asked how spicy I said not at all no hot.Well I guess she doesn't know what that means cause my food is loaded with chili pepper and pepper seeds....again feeding the garbage.
Also 2 employee were mopping the floor by spraying chemical on the tile and moping it without rinsing tge dirty mop head. The chemical was so strong made them and us cough they were keep walking out to get fresh air. They need to get educated on this when costumer there don't spray and make everyone cough and burn their eyes out. It's not safe. Open door and do it after hrs or if they don't get paid to stay do it when no costumers in and if someone comes in stop.

Nice atmosphere after renovations. Food is very nice. Only the sticky rice with mango is too hot and not much coconut sweet sauce

Siam Thai catered our office Christmas lunch and everyone loved it.
We had green curry, massaman beef, stuff chicken wings, crispy noodles w/pork, soft noodles, spring rolls, mango salad, pad thai everything was fantastic!
They made sure we knew what had peanuts and removed the nut garnish where they could to accommodate an allergy in our group.

Very good! Solid place for Thai food, quiet atmosphere, friendly service and the food is one of the better Thai foods I’ve had in the city. If you’re looking for a good Thai place in the area that isn’t too pricy, this should be on your list!

I ordered the General Thai pineapple with chicken. Good portion for the price of $18. But there wasn't any pineapple pieces in it.
Worst Thai fried rice I’ve ever had in any Thai express location. Rice was very soggy and mushy, too much soy sauce and overall just not great🤦🏾♀️ For $16? Come on. Hire better kitchen staff/cook please
The spring rolls were great, the Tom Yum Soup and Pad Thai we had were so so. The interior design of the shop is clean and stylish, very nice!

Placed an order through the app - but somehow when I got there they didn't receive my order. HOWEVER the girl that was there was so sweet and helpful to find my order. They made it in 7 minutes ! Love Thai express - this location has been my go to for decades.

It has always been a pleasure going in there, they are always happy and enthusiastic, and will give extra of stuff sometimes! i am very pleased with their customer service and food overall! definitely recommend coming to this location:)

As such, I can frequently be found patronizing the Yonge & Davisville location where they have a Top Chef that spices things to perfection. If my review ended here, this would be a 5 star review.

The tanned guy who worked night shift tonight made the BEST PAD THAI I've ever had in my entire life!!! I've traveled a lot ive had many pad thais but nothing as good as his I even called him to tell him i loved it soooo much! Thanks again 10 starts 💫
cashier at night is rude!! i was not familiar with their menu yet as it is my first time there, and so the cashier/order taker kept screaming, and talking in a very loud and rude manner!! Yes people who orders food sometimes makes mistakes and theres a proper way on correcting it so next time,customer would know how to say their order correctly. They arent perfect too!! And theres need to be yelling and screaming on customers for not knowing exactly their products as yet!!! It is very traumatizing!!!
It was a quiet place, liked food overall. Ordered chow mein, pad Thai, and egg fried noodles. Server was friendly but honestly service was poor. We asked for more water and the guy picked up 2 glasses from table and went to fill those with water … a jug would have been better or he could have brought new glasses
Ordered the vegetable curry pad Thai and it was delicious 😋 large portion and filled with lots of vegetables. It was flavorful and not too spicy either. Would recommend it! Can't wait to try other dishes!
Très jolie découverte. Nous avons commencé par leur spring rolls, un vrai délice, hyper croustillants. Puis on a testé le pad thai classic et le curry pad thai, les deux en végétarien, c'était très bon, les portions sont généreuses. Leurs cocktails sont pas mal aussi. Le restaurant est chic mais convivial, déco sympa avec des vraies plantes (je déteste les plantes artificielles). Je recommande!
I came here with my daughter and we loved it!! The vibe, service, food were all amazing! Our server was efficient, accommodating, and set a good vibe ❤️ she brought mini glasses, utensils and bowls for my baby. The food came out fast too! I loved the buttery flavoured pumpkin soup. Would def come back when I'm in the area :)
The place is very clean. Three girls at around 5:00 pm helped me with my order. They did an outstanding job! The food was plentiful and rich in flavour.

Very little amount for PHO!! Little noodle With Lots of Bean Sprouts.

I wonder how much amount I get if I ordered mini size... Fried rice was okay with standard franchize taste. There are other options for thai or Pho restaurant within walking distance.

Not my favorite location. I like the atmosphere for dining in but thr food could taste a lot better. I also find Thai express very pricey in general for what they serve. Noodles aren't that expensive and they barely give you any meat and veggies.. I can't lie their chicken Thai fried rice is delicious.
We ate here for a late night snack. Ordered the chicken yellow curry and mango sticky rice. Their curry was good, although I wish the dish had more chicken portions. Their mango sticky rice isn't the usual sticky rice you see where the rice is white and the mango is served separately. It's all mixed together and had cashew nut toppings.

Food is delicious. The service is fast. Staffs are friendly. The restaurant is clean. I strongly recommend.
To be fair, I’ve only ordered takeout. They must have changed cooks because when I ordered in August 2023, the pad Thai was much better than last time. It was umami, spicy and satisfying. The red curry chicken was a bit heavy on the sauce and could have used some bamboo shoots or other veg, but was delicious. The spicy basil eggplant was also good, but a little too mild for my taste. Overall, the portions were fair and my friends thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I would order again.

This place has been around here for at least 20 years that I remember. Always a bit. Delicious food, very attentive staff, and a cool pet fish at the front. Try their pad thai and fresh rolls!
I’ve got Thai soup. The chicken was touch, difficult to chew and tasted funny. I tried two bites and didn’t dare to continue eating. Went to another place to get food
We really enjoyed the food here - authentic and with lots of flavor. Really enjoyed the green curry, massaman beef and Nipon’s fish. Found out that they were awarded with Thai Select by the Royal Thai Government for authentic Thai taste.

Have ordered 3 times from this location. First time was good. Second time I ordered a vegan pad Thai but received something totally different. Third time my order was correct but they didn’t give me any plum sauce for the imperial roll. Definitely a hit or miss depending on when it’s busy or not. Staff doesn’t seem to work that fast when it’s busy so you do have to wait a bit.
Oh..amazing food flavor at this foodcourt store😋👍🏻. This is my first time shopping at Bramalea City Center to grab a birthday gift for my friend and having lunch meal here. The beef is soooo tender and the chicken is flavorfully juicy. Will 100% recommend to my friend and go back to try the different taste!
I tried the Poulet Koral and it was the best Thai dish I have ever eaten. The presentation was spectacular and the food was beyond delicious. Our server was just amazing and very warm and welcoming. I would definitely come here again. The ambience was cozy and everyone seemed at ease here. Plus I believe you can bring your own drinks to have with your dinner.
Delicious thai food. Tried the green curry, fried rice and some appetizers. This place probably has one of the best cooks out of several locations I've been to. The spice is perfect for my taste and of course Green curry was out of world. All flavours of food are top notch.

I’m so disgusted, I would never eat from California Thai again! I found a roach in my food and the owner had the audacity to tell me I couldn’t get a refund. Finally after demanding a refund she told me I had to wait for her to get through the line of people waiting to be served. Absolutely not.. do not ever eat here and public health should be paying them a visit. I knew I shouldn’t have trusted this place, as my coworker witnessed a food delivery person bring back an order and they just took the food out of the container and put it back into the tray of food to give to other customers!

They have a wonderful drink selection. Menu covers all the meals you’d want from a Thai Restaurant and the Staff are great. Dine in experience is best. Vegetarian options are yummy. They will do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions but if you’re allergic to Peanuts, well you can’t eat at a Thai Restaurant!

It says close 9pm. As you can see this was taken 835pm. No where to sit. Just got off work and want to eat somewhere. If the hours is not 9pm then don’t advertise as such.

Food looked unappetizing. The green curry was slimy and had a tint of green that could only be called Soylent Green. Spicy Thai noodles was sweet and all clumped up. If it looked bad it tasted worst. Chicken and veggies were soggy and tasted weird. Had to throw away the food.
I purchased a meal for a friend, which she really enjoyed. We had plans to both eat here, but unfortunately they wouldn't make a simple substitution for me, so I had to go elsewhere.

The first few bites of the green curry with chicken were good, not delicious. But I started to find that the pieces of chicken had what I call "squiggly bits" (not sure you can tell from my photos), which I can't stand. So this could be a personal taste thing, but I had to keep removing pieces of chicken, and them I couldn't continue. It was gross.
So then I tried a fried spring roll, and that was worse and burnt on the end. For the first time in my life, I've never been able to finish a spring roll or finish a green curry - one of my fav dishes. And all of this loveliness for $18!!!

Authentic Vietnamese take-out only restaurant in midtown. I've had the pho, chicken vermicelli and vermicelli noodles here and both were great. I would reheat the pho broth as the take-out process might cool the broth and not cook the rare beef slices well when poured together. Overall, portions are great and I would recommend this place.

I used to not have any other Thai Express food, but only here. The food here is so great. Especially tomyum is awesome!!!! Also, the staff here are nice. I will visit here again.

Offerings need to be tried after tasting the same, if you are an novice and trying different cultural food varieties.

The best thai express of town. I have been coming to this restaurant for so many time . The food are taste very delicious, friendly staff, fast service and clean seating area. I highly recommend to try pad Thai and pad sew and Thai soup of this restaurant.
Like always im wordless again everytime i eat there the food is so tasty full of flavor . This time i eat in and damh the service #1 super friendly the ambiance is perfect! For real you definitely need to go eat there if you never did before! Also the thai soup just the best i ever tast!
One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to in Winnipeg. The serving size is a bit smaller than what I am used to in Asian restaurants but they delivered in flavour. We got 3/5 on the spice scale and there was good heat. One of few places that serve durian ice cream. Friendly service too.
We ordered the tom yum noodles soup with shrimp which was about $16+taxes for an extra large portion. Came with 8 pieces of shrimp. Taste was really good. Definitely worth the price. Will order from here again.
Great atmosphere but slow service. The food tastes great though and with 2 large screen TV monitors, you can watch the news while waiting for your order.
Lucy was very friendly and helped me pick out some of their favourites off the menu. We did take out, the food was still warm and it was tasty. The coconut rice was good, jasmine lacked a little flavour but rest of the items were cooked well. The chicken was a little smelly hence the 4 star. Will try them again though!
MISSING HALF MY ORDER. I ordered 4 extra veggies plus veggies with shrimp as a protein. I had maybe 4 shrimp in the entire order. Almost completely void of any veggies. I was literally eating dry noodles the e tire time. For $50 effing dollars, I am IRATE. Worst purchase ever from Uber Eats.

I read the ingredient before ordering food, which looked normal, but my Pad Thai came with a bright red color (?) and it was SOUR. Like, very very very sour, also the Tom Yum (yes yes the Tom Yum supposed to be sour but this one was just bland and sour, like you're throwing stuff into boiling water without seasoning). Personally, I like sour food and I've tried Thai food for many times, yet I could not handle this one.
Still, I have not tried their other dishes and maybe some of them are actually good, or maybe they were just not in the mood to season my food.

I stopped at this Thai Express not too long ago, while waiting for a medical appointment nearby. It was just before lunchtime so it was not busy at all. I hadn't eaten at a Thai Express in years so I was very curious as to how the food would taste. I had never been disappointed with the food previously so I knew it couldn't be that bad. As a veteran of a million Pad Thais from around the world, I was looking for something different. I decided to try the Pad See Ew which comes with large rice noodles, egg and Chinese broccoli. I decided on beef as my protein. Let me tell you, the beef was tender and juicy and I got quite the serving of beef. This dish was very filling and overall pretty good. I do hope it has the same consistency at all of their locations as this meal was very good. If I'm back in the area anytime soon, I will stop in again.

The presentation was good, the flavours were fine but it was really sweet. I think I ordered a mild one but it was way too sweet for me. But it was good for me as a first timer.

Edit: returned for an affordable lunch menu $12.99. We loved the pad Thai, papaya salad and the best green curry in Winnipeg. The spring rolls were basic but perfectly crunchy.
This is the best Thai food in Winnipeg. The green curry is awesome. The pad Thai has zero ketchup. The flavors are great. Really awesome meal however ordered once with ski and everything was old and stale. Go to the restaurant and eat inside.

Just order delivery through UberEats and the food is absolutely disgusting. Ordered chicken and beef satay as well as "fresh" rolls and we literally threw the food out. Some of the chicken had a funny taste to it, the meat was so extremely dry, you might think that is has been cooked a few days ago. Which is weird that some of the beef satay was raw (see pic)

These days, due to COVID, you only enter from the entrance of the side street and exit from the Yonge St door. They have enough sanitazer containers for customers use.
If you want peanuts and/or hot sauce, you have to ask for it.

The Sausage fried rice was bad and the inside of the sausage did not look like a meat sausage.
The chicken nuggets were too dry.
The spring rolls were very average.

There are (paid) street parking except for rush hours and there is a small Sober supermarket around the corner so if you are also doing some grocery shopping, you can probably use one of their free parking spots.

Just ordered from door dash, never had such horrible thai in my entire life. Red curry chicken with just white rice 2 pieces of chicken. Literally no gravy. Is this a restaurant or trash food delivery.
Awesome food, must try, nice flavour. We had pad thai and Vietnamese shredded fried rice. Both were amazing. Fresh ingredients and love from chef created this taste I feel . I don't give 5 stars unless it's super amazing . But this one is .
I ordered through Skip the Dishes. Extremely satisfied. Large portions. Good value for money. Fresh, delicious food! If you like spicy food, try their chilli chicken. Will be ordering again soon.
I have visited Lily’s twice with family and the service and staff were great. The food unfortunately is mediocre. It is really just a touch passable even though ingredients are very good. We ordered a total of 9 dishes between two visits and we came to the conclusion that they really need to reduce the number of dishes and perfect those or change to a more capable chef. Also one of our dishes (Singapore noodles) that was suppose to have shrimp had only one! I am really sorry that I had to leave this review, but I hope this will lead to the owner making changes because I would definitely comeback because location is good.
I went there for the first time today. I was expecting more rice/noodle options but they had just one option of rice (white rice which had no flavour) and one noodle option (which didn't look fantastic but tasted great). I think the meat portion could have been more as well. I'm giving them 3 stars because I hope by the next time I go there it'll be better. This meal cost me $9.50 (after tax)
I was very much pleased with this place. At first I wasn’t much interested due to the cookie cutter style. The prices in the menu were ok but the surprise came with the food. The portions were big and very tasty. I order something and after the waiter came to reconfirm explaining to me the differences between the two dishes. I was impressed with the service. I will be back here for sure.
We visit Toronto at least twice a year and always struggled to find a good Asian food place close to us in Brampton. We finally found this gem where the service is fantastic, portion sizes are HUGE, even for lunch size and all the food items have unique flavors. For the first time the chicken in the noodles and curry chicken did not taste like boiled chicken. We got the Golden curry chicken, spicy basil tofu and Chang Mai noodles with chicken. All the entree's were delicious. The golden curry chicken was a little sweeter than we hoped, but very flavorful. We will definitely be going back on our future visits. The mango salad is so fresh and the vegetable spring roll (both come with lunch menu) was also one of the nicest I've had.

This is really a good place for Thai cuisine. They offer great varieties of lunch combo at reasonable prices. Food was cooked to order and served hot. The spring roll in lunch combo was really the best and freshly cooked. I would recommend this restaurant.

Very small restaurant in Val-Bélair situated in the residential area rather than the restaurant area so it can be easily be missed if you are not looking for it. Food was okay but I find that it removed much authenticity to cater local taste. I got a table d'hôte which included a tom yam soup, two spring roll, two fried wonton, a salad, a plate of basil chicken with rice and fried apple (ate it before taking a picture).
Unpleasant experience at Star King! Servers were unwelcoming , they did not seem to like us coming their restaurant. They also did not serve food properly. I ordered 2 appetizers and 2 phos. Phos were served first without bean sprout and basil. We had to wait till she brought them very very slowly! The server forgot to bring sauce bowl, too. So I had to wait again!! The appetizer were served when I almost half way finished the pho. Funny thing was my husband and I were the only customer there, so they were not busy at all!!!

The food I received, although, was not up to par with the regulatory standards that Thai Express does hold themselves up to. I ordered a pad thai with vegetables, which ended up coming back with way more bean sprouts than noodles. It was practically stir fry with the lack of noodles, as well as the immense amount of sauce turned it into a soup. (see photo below) Overall tasteless food which is very surprising to come from a chain I love with a passion.
Please do yourself a favour, and skip going to this particular location, and go elsewhere. This location will let you down and doesn't stand for the quality that the other Thai expresses hold themselves to.

It was in my opinion the best Thaï I have ever ate, it was really good from the appetizer to the dessert ! Also the service was top notch 👌

Great food, great service! Their soup starter is to die for, and they make a great phat Thai as well. Also, deep fried pineapple was amazing! Definitely worth going to!
I went to pick up dinner last Saturday. The thai soup was one of the best I ever eat without any doubt, but the rest of the dinner was average, thai chicken sauce was too liquid. The containers were not closed properly got a major leak in my car.. what a mess !!! I will go back for the thai soup without any doubt.
