I visited this restaurant twice while vacationing in Vancouver and the dish I ordered, stir fried chicken and vegetables, was delicious. It was prepared very quickly and served with a small salad. The prices were reasonable.

I was debating between Thai Express and here but opted for Basil Box’s chicken pad thai. It did not taste like pad thai and got too much noodle to meat ratio. Also the lead(?) staff was kinda mean to his staff lol
The food is great. Everything we ordered was very delicious and freshly made. It’s authentic Thai food and we recommend everyone to explore this place.

My all time favorite is Pad Thai w/ extra peanuts! Not oily or greasy. Perfectly cooked all the time! The CS is warm and very friendly. They have a wide selection of chicken wings and desserts by Cheesecake Factory! Yummy!
Had a great experience. Food is always amazing here. My family and I are regulars here! Definitely recommend.

The atmosphere here is not like a 5 star restaurant but the food and service is amazing. I ordered honey garlic wings, Tom yum soup and green curry. It was more than enough for 2 people and very affordable.
This place has some of the best this curry I’ve had since I went to Thailand. Their lunch specials are extremely affordable and their staff are really nice. I highly recommend you try this spot out. I always get the Thai red curry !!
The website says it closes at 9:30, but we arrived at the store around 8:40. We are no longer allowed to eat in the store and can only take out food. The waiter didn't want to serve us at all.

The food was very bad and very expensive. A small bowl of white rice costs nearly $4.
This is the worst and most expensive Thai restaurant I have ever eaten at. I came here after reading many good reviews online. Pad Thai is very sweet, can’t even eat it.
Fresh and tasty food……
Love the way they give hot food
Roll are amazing and Hakka noddles too
Tandoori momos are also good
Dined in couple of times and have ordered once online as well.
Food is delicious ,flavourful and presented well.
Highlight items are Oodles of Noodles, Green Curry shrimp and Pineapple fried rice.

Downside is the wait time, but that is justified based on the quality of the food they serve.

Will be returning for trying other delicacies.
Dinning here is pretty much in dark dimmed lights. The food, fried chicken in peanut sauce is tasty but the Coconut soup looks more like Tom yum soup. Prices though are decent and competitive.
We've been searching for a Thai place since we moved to the area and this place has beat out every other one we've tried. Food was excellent, atmosphere and service was exceptional and even though they were busy (make reservation if you are going on a weekend) our food was out quick! We will definitely be back!

The staffs are nice. But we wait for a long time for the food. Not sure if today is weekend to cause this. Generally the atmosphere is nice, just the air circulation is not that great.. Very smoky..

Their Curry is good and the traditional dessert coconut sticky rice with Mango is nice..
I would not go there again. Food was bland and had no taste and portions were very small. Spicy food was lacking heat. Pad Thai was overly sweet and pale in color. Meat portions were also lacking, shrimp pieces were even more meager. No sticky rice other than regular white rice. Lady/owner was pushy and seemed impatient. No smile, no thank you, thought Thai people were supposed to be friendly.
This is my go-to spot for lunch. The food is yummy and reasonably priced, especially their lunch specials. I usually have their noodle dishes but thought to try the Basil chicken stir fry... hit the spot.
The Thai food I had for lunch was an absolute delight! The mild beef pad see ew was flavorful and tender, complemented perfectly by the savory pad thai. The mango rice provided a refreshing sweetness, while the pineapple fried rice offered a delightful blend of savory and tropical flavors. The holy basil beef was a spicy and aromatic highlight, adding a kick to the meal. Overall, each dish was well-prepared, delicious, and truly captured the essence of Thai cuisine. I can't wait to go back for more!

This is now my favourite Northern Thai restaurant. I was able to get decently spicy Thai food. Most places don’t make it spicy enough and if they do it’s not with fresh chili’s . The Laab with pork was what I’d call Thai spicy. Not crazy spicy but just right for me and my family. I also ordered one of the flat rice noodle dishes which was one of the lunch specials and got it Thai spicy and it was good too. What I like is that this place makes more of a northern style food like Chiangmai or nearby regions. I really want to come again. I guess the only dish that was just basic was my daughters green curry lunch special but then green curry isn’t that spicy but for some reason it wasn’t spicy at all and more sweet than anything, so she was just picking away at it. I guess because she looks more French Canadian they figured to give her the basic dish for western customers. lol. I’ll have to explain it next time. The khaki soi was decent as well. A bit sweeter than how we make it at home but my partner still liked it and liked the differences in the way we make it at home. So all in all we plan to come back again as soon as we can when we’re in the area.

Bai Bua is fantastic. The food is really tasty and the service is excellent. Honestly some of the best Thai food in Metro Vancouver.
I ordered the eggplant bowl with beef and jasmine rice. The eggplants were not as soft as I usually like them, but the dish was still delicious, especially the beef. It was mildly spicy, rating about 1/10, which suits someone like me who doesn't enjoy very spicy food. If you prefer something spicier, I'd suggest choosing a hotter option. My only complaint is about the portion size compared to the price; I expected more, which is why I'm giving it one star less. I'll definitely try other plates in future.

Amazing Thai food, had the cashew basil and terminator pad Thai. To start we had the salad rolls and spring rolls. Absolutely amazing and well priced.
I used to visit this location all the time years ago when it was Thai One on and the food was amazing. Then they changed names and the food went downhill. I just tried it again and the food is back to tasting great. We got the golden chicken curry and Rock chicken fried rice and both were delicious. Portions are large with lots of meat and veggies and the taste was great, a bit spicy and coconutty. Will definitely return again
I recently enjoyed a meal at a Thai restaurant where the spicy red curry which hit that spicy craving. Pad Thai stood out for their depth of flavor. The shrimp and fried calamari were perfectly cooked, and the Pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp was a unique twist on traditional fried rice offering a delightful balance of tangy and sweet flavor. Washing it all down with a creamy Thai iced tea, the meal was a flavorful journey through Thai cuisine. Definitely recommend.
Ordered this on Uber eats, writing this review to boost the Google reviews, this food deserves a 5 star review. It is a huge takeout portion, came piping hot and is delicious pad thai.
My friends and I came here for dinner. Best Thai place I’ve tried so far!! Staff is so warm and welcoming, the food was great and very seasoned. Loved the devil chicken and green curry. Definitely recommend coming here!! Love the service.

Very good gluten free options . Service always very pleasant and person that served the food was very patient . Came back just to get the food here as there are not many other gluten free places in the mall. The spice level is also accurate for me.

After waiting 15 minutes in the oie they said it will take at least 20 minutes to prepare my order asbthere are ither orders before me. There was just 1 person waiting before me. Seems line they are least bothered about making out if the usual set box menu. Never again.
I am not an huge fan of Thai food but I changed my mind when my best friend introduced me to this hidden spot.
I love their Malay chicken curry , it has right amount of spice and is creamy is texture , goes well with rice or fried rice and gives me an explosion of multiple flavours in my mouth in every bite , I have tried other Thai places but this curry is best made only at Thai on Rocks and the quantity they give satisfies their price
Now I am their regular customer

I actually went specifically for the special dessert: sticky rice, with coconut, mango & cashews. I've always loved this dessert, and went there just for this dessert! I seem to remember the portions were bigger, but it was great nonetheless. Also ordered some vegetarian vermicelli glass noodles. My order was fulfilled on time, and overall I was pleased.

I'd rate this place as one of the best Thai restaurants in Mississauga. The food is authentic and scrumptious. The satay chicken is so juicy and tender. Green curry beef and seafood combo are so tasty. Special warning the seafood combo is quite spicy. 🌶🌶🌶🌶

We definitely would come back to try more.
I had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant. The waiters were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked that you have a very modern style. Most importantly, every food on your menu tasted great!( Thai on rock fried rice, spicy Thai on rock noodle, devil chicken 👌👌👌)
I like to visit the restaurant one more any special occasion 👍👍👍

Order Malaysian curry if you want it savoury and spicy, mango chicken if you like it creamy and kinda sweet with a hint of mango smoothie, their grand appetizer is really good, which is nice and fresh, try their mango sticky rice too. Tom, their manager has excellent manners and service. The place has a nice ambiance.

This restaurant had been the most disappointing restaurant I've been to. The food was cold, my food had hair and was the saltiest dish from a restaurant I've ever tasted. The price was unjust for the quality. 27$ for cold beef and salty chicken was outrageous.

If you want ur business to still thrive, either lower the prices for the quality that you offer, or up the quality and quantity for the prices that you’ve put up.
Exactly like Bangkok. I ordered a green curry with extra vegetables and chicken, and asked for spicy. It was proper spice level, with abundant protein and vegetables – I asked for sticky rice, and they also provided that! LOVED this meal. Reminded me of living in Thailand. ^_^

Got some takeout and the Manager was very accommodating with my order and patient when suggesting alternatives to the selections we were making. Food was okay, no where near the best but certainly not the worst Thai restaurant in Mississauga
What a nice spot
Service was great, they never bothered us,
The food tasted great we wiped out the plates
Will go again to try the buffet it is only 20 bucks
The vibes, the decorations, everything is worth it
I jussst wish they put more meat, all restaurants never do
Food is great, good amount and quite cheap compare to other restaurants .
You have to order food at counter first, pay then find seats.
I order somtum, beef thai salad and tomyum stir fry noodle
Very nicely decorated restaurant
With authentic thai food.

Tasty food but the wait is ridiculously long and it’s pretty expensive for the portions you get.

They held some tables empty for reservations but the amount of time we waited, we could have totally taken the table, finished eating and they would still be able to flip the table.

I would not recommend the papaya salad or fried rice - not very flavourful.

I would recommend the Tom yum soup, skewers and mango sticky rice dessert.

Here is my favorite place to eat Thai food 👍
Much better than other because very right price
They charge here is good for bring friends
And order a-lot one table and share to meal with
Tiger beer 😃👍 nice place i want want to famous here because so good
I had the beef fried rice and spring rolls. I thought it was very good and would definitely get it again. I’d like to try the curry next time since it also looks good. Can’t comment on service and atmosphere since I ordered delivery.
Food tasted homemade. Good price for the portion. I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered pad see ew with chicken, grilled pork jowl, papaya salad with salted crab, and spring rolls. Everything was good.

Pad see ew - noodle was soft and delicious (not mushy), good seasoning, and wok flavour was really good.

Grilled pork jowl - so tender and I really like the sauce. Definitely give this a try!

Spring rolls - taste like the ones in Thailand, definitely very nostalgic! Again, the sauce was good and paired perfectly with it.

Papaya salad with salted grab - good flavour and have a good kick to it (I got spicy)

Most definitely one of the best options in the food court. Their staff are always happy and full of energy!

I really enjoy their bento boxes as it gives me a good selection to please the taste buds.

I also tried their calamari. It was absolutely delicious… cooked to perfection!
The food was good, not great. A lot of the protein (chicken/beef) felt overcooked and dry, and felt like it was using an excess of sauce to compensate. The staff was really friendly and did try their best to make us comfortable here. Good spot to hit up if you're in the area and craving some Thai.
Amazing service and tasty food! Our server was attentive, courteous and prompt. Everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were good and the price was right. Will definitely go back for more!!

A hidden gem in east Vancouver! Everything on the menu is bursting with flavour, and the staff are super quick, attentive, and friendly. The mango sticky rice and stir-fried fish are must order items.
Was feeling a bit hungry after pickleball and decided for an earlier dinner. My wife and I don't normally dine in this area, but like to try out new restaurants any where. This one was on the way home. Glad we stopped and our we arrived just before they opened. Every dish we had was tasty. Enjoyed every dish and would order them again. This time with our friends we ordered more common Thai dishes, but will feel comfortable ordering different ones next time. Recommend and will return. BTW this restaurant has been around for nine years and is family run. A real gem. PS Lots of free parking north of Hastings and at the Van East parking lot behind the old and now demolished London Drugs.

Garbage food, the girl (Jot) at front doesn’t care at all. The way they speak to the customer is not how you stay in business, she tried to call her boss and we got an explanation if you choose spicy it will get more flavour in the pad Thai, if you don’t order spicy it will just have salt pepper
Don’t waste your time and money
Try something better
While we were trying to explain she was on her phone and started laughing about the issue.
I wish i can give 0 star
A bit disappointing... came here for my anniversary Dec 10th at 2pm and wasn't pleased. Restaurant was empty only 1 other table occupied, asked to move tables (before being served anything) to the table next to us (more room). Received a response back by server saying "ummm... pause.. yeah okay sure.." while giving us a look. At the end of the meal I asked if I could order mango sticky rice, the server responded "we don't typically serve any more dishes until everything is finished on the table". I felt very awkward and a bit surprised.

The food was good, soups were the best but very small. Green curry was a bit watery, standard nothing amazing. Pad Thai was better. Mango sticky rice wasn't even a whole mango, maybe half? Total bill before tax was just under $90!! For 2 people.

Service 2/5
Food 3.5/5
Atmosphere 4/5
Great vibes and all staff are super friendly. Foods some the most authentic Thai you will find in Vancouver it's not the westernized falang Thai that all the other Thai spots serve for hype prices. And Thai basil's portions are huge and their prices are about half that of the other Thai spots aswell can't say enough good things about this place. The chef slays in the kitchen have eaten I think 6 or more meals in a row here the past few days. Pad kra pao, Laab gai, Nam tok, Som tum and Pad see ew all amazing flavors the Thai Ice coffees and teas are a great side kick with the meal, they even have Singha and Chang if you're feeling like a beer. Oh and almost forgot to mention the steamed mussels special done in coconut milk the mussels are just massive with a beautiful color to them. Thanks for holding me over til I get back to Thailand in a few weeks. Really made this falang a happy guy thanks for the welcoming vibes. See you all again soon.
Ordered regular size of seafood soup, 9.99 , looks like one cup amount. Ordered Pad Thai (chicken and shrimp), enough of noodles but not protein. Generally, Pad Thai was way too sweet. Seafood soup wasn't very Thai. As a Thai Food lover / goer , NOT coming back. Thai restaurants always have great and happy dining in or take out service and atmosphere, the waitress took my take out order on Tuesday night obviously didn't do a good job. Maybe that's the reason restaurant was a big empty during dinner time.
Always my go to Thai restaurant! Their signature "terminator" dish is a must-try.

We ordered two noodle dishes to share from the lunch special menu which is available from 11 am to 3 pm. They both came with a deep fried appetizer which was quite nice. $14.90 each - reasonable price.

1) Pad Thai with Chicken. It was good. It was slightly too sweet.

2) Pad See Ew with Beef. It was great. The beef was flavourful and the vegetable was surprisingly well done.

I will come back next time for their rice items with fried eggs.

The atmosphere was nice. The staff were very friendly.
First time here and the food was soooo good. Had the Pad Thai, Mali Thai, & Pineapple Fried Rice. All three were tasty. This place is just a little hole in the wall, but worth dinning in.

I found thai room decent, but not outstanding. It lacked authentic Thai that I'm accustomed to. The dishes seemed to be Indian/Canadian infused and influenced, mainly the customers and chefs were Indian/south asian with Thai staff…. This may have influenced the flavouring and authenticity in my opinion…

The dishes had generous amounts, but the dicing resulted in large chunks of meats and vegetables. Despite that, the food presentation was good and the restaurant looked great.

Unfortunately it was overpriced and expensive. I ordered the pad Thai and basil lamb. Came out for almost $60cad.

I placed an order for pick up. Girl who took my order was nice. When i took the food home, 3 pad thais were soggy and broken up. I had guests over for Thai night. When I called the restaurant asking for a manager the guy goes and talks to someone and comes back and says the manager is not there. I asked when she will be his answer was "I don't know, maybe tomorrow, maybe the day after". It's Friday night...and there is no mgr? I have dined in and had no problems. My original intention in calling was to merely let them know how poorly cooked 3 orders of pad thai was and how chewy my beef and eggplant was. With this answer from some guy, it has now made me irritated in every way. Businesses like this don't care what you think when dine in is so good. They just don't care.
What a shame.

I recently discovered a hidden Thai restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. Tucked away from the bustling streets, this place offers a truly authentic dining experience.
First and foremost, the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and gladly answered all our questions.
Now, let's talk about the food. The flavors were simply delightful. From the aromatic herbs and spices to the perfectly balanced sauces, each dish was a burst of authentic Thai flavors. The menu had a wide variety of options, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes, as they truly showcase the chef's skills.
One aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the affordability. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices were very reasonable. In fact, they even offer a lunch special that is worth taking advantage of. It's a great opportunity to sample their delicious cuisine without breaking the bank.
Although the restaurant may be hidden, it is definitely worth seeking out. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and reasonable prices make it a must-visit for any Thai food enthusiast. I will definitely be returning to explore more of their menu.

I used to order the Mali Pad Thai pretty often as I thought it was one of the best in the city. It's been a few months, but my last order I received last night was probably the worst Pad Thai I've ever had (even worse than my own attempt to make it at home).
There was so much sauce that it almost looked like soup noodles as opposed to a proper Pad Thai. The excess of sauce almost meant that the dish was inedible as it was way too salty.
The portions are also about 2/3 as much as what they used to be. Very disappointed, most likely will not be returning in the future.

Order Spicy, it’ll burn. It’s hot. It’ll hurt. So yummy. Food is amazing! Service is a bit slow. Back in Thailand they will whip that up in 1 minute, but it’s all good. We here to enjoy. Busy, busy, busy.
Fast, flavorful food! My friends and I were the only ones dining in on a Saturday night in this small restaurant. Good portion size. I got the mango tofu which was really good!
It wasn't the first time that we had dined here at Take Thai Home on Commercial. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the food here and had to come again for the 3rd time. I'm surprised there aren't many reviews for this restaurant. 😅

We ordered the Royal Pad Thai, Tom Yum Kung Soup, Thai Fried Rice, and the appetizer Calamari. 🍽🍜🥣🍝🍲

My boyfriend was ecstatic about the Thai fried rice and my favourite was the Tom Yum Kung Soup. There are lots of flavours and aromatics in the dishes we ordered. Great selection of items on the menu.

Thank you Take Thai Home!
Thai Room surviving yellow Thai curry 🍛

Yellow Thai curry is a delightful and aromatic dish that never fails to impress with its harmonious blend of flavors. I recently had the pleasure of savoring a bowl of this culinary masterpiece, and here's my review:

The first thing that struck me about the yellow Thai curry was its vibrant and inviting appearance. The rich, golden hue of the curry immediately whetted my appetite. The aroma that wafted from the bowl was equally enticing, a tantalizing mix of lemongrass, coconut, and an array of exotic spices.

The taste was a symphony of flavors. The creaminess of the coconut milk provided a soothing base, which was beautifully balanced by the tanginess of the lime leaves and the slight sweetness of palm sugar. The star of the show, however, was the medley of spices – turmeric, cumin, coriander, and a touch of chili heat, all working in perfect harmony. The tender chunks of protein, usually chicken or tofu, absorbed these flavors wonderfully.

What I appreciate most about yellow Thai curry is its versatility. It can be tailored to one's spice preference, making it accessible to a wide range of palates. For those who prefer mild flavors, it's a comforting and creamy indulgence, while those seeking a more fiery experience can add extra chili to their liking.

The accompanying jasmine rice was the ideal partner for this dish, providing a neutral canvas that allowed the curry's complex flavors to shine. The fresh herbs, like cilantro and Thai basil, added a burst of freshness to every bite.

In conclusion, yellow Thai curry is a culinary masterpiece that I would heartily recommend to anyone seeking a taste adventure. Its balance of flavors, from creamy coconut to zesty spices, is nothing short of delightful. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or new to this cuisine, yellow Thai curry is a must-try that will transport your taste buds to the streets of Thailand.

The lychee twist was fantastic.
The Thia iced tea was also delicious.
We had a few different plates including the lava pork( deadly taste) 🤤, bamboo chicken, panang curry beef, Calamari and salad rolls.
The service was fantastic with a smile and was nice enough to charge a phone for the table. Super tasty and would 100% recommend!!!!!!

Good place for family dinner. Fun foods’ name, fun quotes around the wall.

Friendly staffs. Foods were delicious but quite spicy, you should ask for mild to taste it better. We ordered SOMTAM, surprisingly it not only went well with all main dishes, but also enhanced our meal!!

Overall, one of the best Thai restaurants in NE. Definitely will come back many times!!
It is the first time to have Thai cuisine in Calgary. The restaurant is nice and comfortable. The food is so delicious especially the Pork Satay which we ordered one more after finishing the first round. The price is reasonable and more people to come, more food you could try.

A small Thai restaurant on Commercial Drive that has a reasonably priced lunch menu. When we first sat down, the server gave us a menu and told us we had to order at the counter. So we ordered and paid at the counter and got our own water. Service was bringing us the plate of food and cleaning up afterwards. Lunch special is 11:30am-3:30pm. I got the pad thai with salad for $11.50 and my partner got the curry with salad and rice for $11.95. Both were good in flavour, but wasn’t the most amazing Thai food we ever ate. Prices were reasonable for the portion so it’s definitely worth a visit during lunch. It got slightly busy during lunch period but there were enough tables for everyone. Overall, good experience. Booth and table seating available. Only street parking. Cheapest lunch special is $6.95 which is super affordable in this economy.
Pretty average. The service was adequate but not very attentive or friendly. Decor was a weird blend of beautiful art and cliche signs. The food was tasty but unfortunately the portions were quite small. Overall, pretty forgettable.

Recently visited this place and tried their Thai Spicy Eggplant and Vegetables Curry Pad Thai, I usually don’t eat that much Thai food but all the places I’ve visited so far were quite good and I have liked it but this place I did not like their offerings. It might align with others taste buds but not mine as I’ve tried Curry Pad Thai before and that had curry as well but still the noodles were not like all stuck together and all but here the noodles kind of lost their purpose and also I did not like the curry flavour too. About Thai Spicy Eggplant it was okay as well.
Nice ambiance. We ordered crispy wonton, bang bang shrimp, lemongrass chicken wings, pin wheel in appetizers, bamboo chicken, chicken red curry, noodle delight, pineapple chicken fried rice in main course and banana flambe with coconut ice-cream in dessert.
The food and service were both good.
There is a small parking lot & Plenty street parking is available.
Open till late night. The service was quick. Many options. The quantity was food was also large. I wouldn’t say this is 100% authentic thai.. it was a good mix of Hakka and thai !! Chilli chicken was spicy and good. Crispy beef was sweet to my surprise. The fried rice was tasty! The yellow curry was fantastic! Definitely coming back again!
A good Thai restaurant tucked away from the main road.
Didn’t know of this place, and happen to find it on Google—so we tried it out. Was quite impressed with the food.
We tried the Thai shrimp roll, chicken pad Thai and golden curry shrimp. Every single dish was a burst of delicious flavours in your mouth.
Our server was nice, but she was constantly on her phone.
The atmosphere was nice, booths were comfy and gives you that “stay a while” kinda vibe.
Would definitely go back!
First time trying the restaurant and was surprised how good everything was. Very authentic and the flavors were on point. Love that you can choose the spice level. Their prices were very reasonable as well. Definitely going back when I am craving for Thai food!

Long overdue. Came in around 8:00 pm for the first time. Ordered their Chili Chicken. Came with Jasmine Rice. Not bad it was pretty good with the rice. The chicken was a bit on the tough side. The peppers and and onions tasted great with the ginger garlic thai sauce. Total cost was about 18 dollars. Plenty of parking around the area and the place looked pretty clean. The front ladies were nice and provided recommendations for next time. Will come back.

A very good place for Thai food. Service is friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Get here early or make a reservation on the weekend as it gets busy.
The service was great! We didn't have high expectations for the lunch buffet but it turned out to be really good! Decent number of options and it all tasted great!

The iced coffee was sweeter than I expected, it tasted more like a dessert. The dessert, coconut rice pudding with mangos, was also delicious and I think they need to serve larger portions! I could have eaten 4 portions of it.
This is not a trendy restaurant... It is basic seating like a dinner... But the food is second to none.. best Thai food I've eaten in Calgary. The menu shows clearly the different food allergies and has numerous vegetarian and vegan options.. the restaurant's walls are covered with humorous sayings and there is something to look at while you are waiting for your meals. Service is fast, often getting your food within 5 to 8 minutes of ordering. I've eaten here a dozen times and will contribute to do so.

Got takeout since there was a promo on Uber eats. Pad thai (N1) was great but the pad see ew noodles were quite overcooked. Flavours are good but the mushy texture wasn't great

Absolutely amazing experience with Jacky! I love basil box and the service from Jacky was amazing! Even though the mall was quiet at 9:30 pm - Jacky gave me such a great experience and amazing service! He was so friendly and gave me great suggestions! Really amazing service and tasty food
Ordered pad Thai and large tom yam chicken. Food didn't meet expectations, especially Pad Thai. Ketchup ruined the noodles. And chicken in Tom yum had zero flavor. Very empty at 12pm on Tuesday. Most people came for 21.5 dollar lunch buffet, available from 11:30 to 2pm weekdays.

This Basil Box has really caring staff and great attention to your food. A bit on the slow side due to the lack of staff members.

The staff (Jacky) is very friendly, quickly assembles and gives great recommendations. They served another customer that has a dietary concern and flagged any available options they could eat. They also offered to customize to their preference and suggested great alternatives. Good healthy choices!

They have a lot of good custom order options/set-ups so that you can mix and match. This location offers additional Fried Egg (for additional cost). I usually get the Chili Lime Shrimp which is pretty spicy and delicious! This location offers sautéed eggplant and charred sweet potatoes which is great as well. Really good value and carries well!

This location is on Ritual but due to minimal staff, it does struggle with getting orders completed in time. Be patient with the staff! Hopefully, there will be more staff joining as it feels like a one-man team right now on weekends, while it is a two-person team on weekdays.
This place is very good.
The seating is cozy and comfortable. They have very quick service. They close around 9 pm and we had called ahead to reserve a table for 8:30pm. They had already set up our table before we entered.

The food is very good.
I highly recommend their drunken prawns. It’s on another level. Panang curry was very good.
Papaya salad and green curry could be better considering the standard of their other dishes. Food was a solid 8/10. Those who know me are aware that in terms of food this is a very high rating.

Their server Calvin was humble, sweet and knew the menu well. Calvin turned this from a 4 star review to 5 stars.

Would definitely visit again.

An extremely hearty, huge portion of Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว which is always a good time.. this was a very large portion of noodles and my takeout container was very heavy and dense as a result.
Unfortunately this was not the most exciting flavor, lacking depth of strong Oyster sauce and Thai seasoning, but pretty yummy overall at low fare. The noodles were not authentic wide rice noodles that are traditionally served with Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว and they were quite moist and congealed. I got the 'hottest/spiciest' option of level 5 which was a letdown in terms of any kind of heat and would have loved some fresh Thai Birdseye chillis in there.
A good strong menu with plenty of Thai classics suitable for veggies with plenty of Tofu options.

Finally REAL Thai food in Vancouver! Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious and authentic. Friendly staff. Clean washroom.

Highly recommend: Crispy chicken wings, Grilled pork jowl with sticky rice.

Rare-find dish: Swimming Rama (พระรามลงสรง)

Pre-order dish: Thai boat noodle soup
i was craving for padseeyou and went here. the serving for the noodles is little although the shrimp are big and a lot. The taste is really good. 4/5 for that. On the other hand the spring roll is too small and mostly just noodle and carrot no meat at all. it’s still fresh and crispy so 2.5/5 and lastly The cashew and basil(pork) 4/5. This is really good. i love the freshness and crunchiness of the dish but the coconut rice isn’t that good. taste like more just steam rice. overall the place is clean and love their quotes on the wall and paintings. overall the food is great
We randomly walked in on a Saturday stroll with no expectations. We are definitely coming back. Food was awesome. We had all vegan options. Loved the green curry. Service was fast and friendly. Recommend!

Awesome food and great prices too! Got take out from this cute place (they have dine in as well), ordered online, super easy. Loved that the auto tip is set at 10% and not 15 or 18 like other restaurants.

Ordered the green curry for 2, pork jowl (the dipping sauce was amazing 🤤🤤) and pad thai. Everything was delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients in their dishes. Super friendly staff as well.
Ordered Pad Kee Mao, Thai custard with sweet sticky rice, and Thai iced tea through DoorDash. The order was completed very quickly. There were clear markings inside the restaurant with a limited capacity for safe pick up. Would definitely order again!

I went back to try the pineapple fried rice with tofu, and it was delicious! Great flavour. I will certainly order this dish again.
We had reservations at 12 noon. When I arrived the hostess said, "Oh you friend is already here. Just walk in and you can find her. Maybe by the windows." The restaurant is long so by default you will see everyone as you walk towards the windows.

The buffet was quite sparse - both in selection and amount available. I counted about 9-10 hot dishes, 3-4 cold dishes (salads, salad rolls), 1 soup (which my friend said tasted water down) and a selection of desserts. I would have to continually stand at the buffet station and wait for staff to refill the dishes. When they refill th station, they do not return with a full buffet serving which is probably why they keep running out.

Very delicious food. Very good curry dishes with just the right amount of spiciness and goes well with a bowl of rice. The portion was a good size for the price. The staff were friendly and service were quick. Although a better ventilating system would make this experience even better. The nonstop incoming traffic showed the popularity of their food.

Always consistent food and service, simply put - very very good.

Had the cashew fried rice with prawns. Full of flavour and large sized prawns that are de-veined and flayed. Just amazing to see the time the kitchen staff takes to do this. Have been to many many restaurants and rarely do I see this done. Have been here for dinner before, and the phone is just as good in the evening as it is during lunch - consistency, plays a huge factor in customer satisfaction. Portion sizes are just right.

Service is always great as usual. Staff are very friendly and courteous, quick to seat you and quick to take your order. Food is fairly quick as well. Can literally do lunch in under an hour.

Restaurant is always clean, atmosphere is welcoming and warm.
A wonderful experience with culturally rich interior that can make you forget that your in downtown Calgary.

A note: It is located on the second floor, so it lacks disability access for people who struggles in climbing the stairs.

At first the entrance of the restaurant was greeted with a dark, uninviting set of stairs. It reminds me of a haunted house.

Every time I go to a Thai restaurant, I always order a Thai ice tea and it was amazing. It was refreshing, cold and just the right amount of that oh so sweet evaporated milk. I highly recommend it.

Our first order was the calamari. It was nicely presented, cooked well, but it was bland. You have to add the sweet and sour sauce that came with it to add flavor.

Our main course were pad thai and hor mok kai, chicken wrapped in banana leaf with zucchini, basil and red curry paste. The chicken was really good that my girlfriend reminded of her food back home in the Philippines and it goes well with coconut rice. The pad Thai on the other hand was OK, nicely presented, but it lacked spiciness , and nuts which I love. The sauce could've been done better by adding just a bit more.

One of my thai food crave place to go. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely come back for more.
