I was recently in Switzerland for 2-weeks and this was by far my favorite restaurant. The service was great and very personable. The food was excellent. The atmosphere inside was top notch.

I had the same experience as others. Called to order a pizza to go and asked them in French if they speak English, and they hung up on me without saying anything. I was ready to try to order in French, but this rude behaviour doesn’t deserve my business!

War ein Treffen ehemaliger Coiffeure und Coiffeusen , die vor 40 oder 50 Jahren beim Salon Franco in Bern gearbeitet haben . Wir waren ca. 30 Personen . Die Organisatoren haben ein reichhaltiges Buffet bestellt mit verschiedenen warmen und kalten Speisen . Rot und Weiss Wein und Mineral . Super !!! Service- Personal hat sich toll um uns gekümmert ! 1 A

Kann ich sehr empfehlen, wir durften hier einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt geniessen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und lustig und sie sind auch gut auf unsere "Extrawünsche" eingegangen. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt! Top 5/5
Erstens: sehr unfreundliche Bedienung. Die Serviererin wollte uns nach Bestellung von 2 Frappees (für 3 Personen) noch weitere Getränke verkaufen, und drohte uns, ich zitiere „uns wegzuschicken“. Zweitens: Das Frappee war leider nur einfache, lauwarme Milch die aufgeschäumt wurde. Enttäuschend und für CHF9,50 eine absolute Unverschämtheit.

Food is decent, but the service is appaling! The waiters don't speak English at all, and we ended up sharing the same table with a group of 6 noisy people, considering that the restaurant was EMPTY at that time! This is totally unacceptable and ruined the whole atmosphere. I don't recommend having dinner at this restaurant.
Boring commercial music being played, but still a relatively nice place to go for pre-drinks. One of the male bartenders was just adding tips (10%) himself. Not good.
Leider war es ziemlich enttäuschend. Empfang war noch nett, Getränk kam schnell aber dann musste ich 50 Minuten auf das Essen warten. Schnitzel war wirklich sehr gut, die Pommes leider miserabel. Dafür 42 CHF - da reicht ein Mal dann auch aus. Ambiente wäre eigentlich gut, wenn nicht pausenlos ein viel zu lautes, unangenehmes Telefonläuten das Ambiente stören würde. Habe ich so auch noch nicht erlebt.

Sehr leckeres Essen, die Pizza sucht ihresgleichen. Der Chef ist ehemaliger Vize-Schweizermeister Pizzaiolo, was sich deutlich in der Qualität widerspiegelt! Aber auch die anderen Speisen sind sehr lecker. Die Karte ist vielseitig und hat für alle etwas Passendes dabei.
Für den Durst gibt es nebst einem leckeren Hausbier eine grosse Auswahl an Gin & Whisky!

Super Service une die Fondue ist super gut. War mehrmals und jedes mal ist der Service top. Alle sind freundlich und die Stimmung ist toll.

gestern nach altstadt bummel sehr leckere, knusprige und grosse portion rösti gegessen. kleinere portion und günstiger, dann könnt man öfter kommen. haus eistee fein, könnte für uns gar kein zucker haben. personal freundlich. alles unkompliziert. brunch sieht lecker aus. mittagessen war am samstag nach 14uhr möglich.

The gluten free pizza was extremely tasty! The service was quite slow however, even though it was not too busy. So I can imagine it might be super slow at busy times. But if you are looking at a gluten free option in Bern then I would fully recommend!

Ruhiges restaurant im Bern Hauptbahnhof Innenbereich. Schöne Dekoration wie bei den anderen Hans im Glück. Tolles Angebot, da der Mittagstisch bis 16 Uhr gültig ist. Leckeres Homemade Getränk.

Pleasant restaurant in the middle of Bern next to a church. We easily got a table outside with a view of the Church surroundings. Friendly, English speaking and attentive staff who gave us everything we needed. Got the veal and Rösti with a glass of red Syrah wine from Valais. Food was delicious, well prepared, and prices were comparable to other restaurants. We enjoyed dining here and would definitely come back to have dinner again.
The design of this restaurant is exceptional. It has a forest vibe to it and for a train station restaurant it is very nice. They have an extensive burger menu. That said, the burgers are nothing special, the portions are on the smaller side for the pricing. The drinks, though, are excellent.
On vacation in Bern and ate here for dinner. Food, service, and atmosphere were very good. We started off with a mixed salad with house dressing which was ok - nothing special. The presentation was lovely and the salad ingredients were good but I didn't care for the dressing. I'm used to blue cheese or ranch and their house dressing was very different. For the main we had beef from Zurich with a mushroom cream sauce - it was very good. It also came with shredded, pan-fried potatoes and Bernese market vegetables which were both delicious. For dessert they served fruit, lemon Gelato, and lemoncello mascarpone cream which was very good. The mascarpone cream was exceptional.

Location - great. Bar, facilities - all pretty good. But DJ is very bad: yes, now I have a sleeping collection of tracks for Toni, but that's not the point of a club to play undancable music! DJ hasn't looked at crowed even ONCE to see that people are really struggling to dance under his list...
Hint: if your music doesn't work - try some ultimate hits like Linking Park, Madonna, Rolling Stones, Elvis or try the most modern hits from whichever radio.

My friends and I had a nice Saturday afternoon tasting natural wines at Sauvage. The staff though busy, was kind to us and informative with the history and different types of the wines.
Having seen the vineyards and wineries in the region, having a tasting of the wines with light snacks really shows the depth that Swiss and Bielersee wines have. 🍷

My salad was ok ( 1st 🌟) Glad that I didn't order anything else. Figured that out when the cook started to serve costumers. Owner tried to apologize at the end ( 2nd⭐ ).

Incredible and surprising place… fabulous kitchen and amazing wines. The service is probably one of the friendliest in Switzerland. I do not come to Biel so often, but I definitely will return because of this place.

I have attended a concert of modern Swiss music in Kanzlei: the stuff was very friendly, the space is beautifully decorated, the bands were cool!

Interestingly, the take-out dishes did not differ in appearance or taste from those previously served on the spot.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves real Italian food.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut. Es wurde auch schnell serviert. Der Preis ist angemessen. Bequem zum erreichen ob zu Fuss oder mit dem Auto oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehr. Gehen auf jeden Fall wieder hin.
Wir waren als Gruppe da und die Bardame ist superfreudlich. Es hat eine kleine Smokerlounche. Wir waren zuviel Leute für den einten Tisch, Sie hat uns sofort mehr Stühle gebracht und gefragt ob wir eine weiteren Tisch wollen. Die Drinks waren einfach aber nicht schüchtern :-). Grundsätzlich muss ich sagen: wir werden wieder kommen. Danke!

Owner does not bother to show his face, clearly too busy and didn't even try to offer a new shisha head or fresh shisha - but ofcourse customer care is low on his list of priorities. I mean why would you care when you are ripping people off for substandard shisha.

We were queuing for a while (two girls and two boys) and when we finally got to the front, they didn't let the guys in (foreigners). We explained that we were all together, since there is a rule that every man has to come with a woman. They put us all on the side. We waited for a long time, thinking that since the place was so full, we had to wait for people to leave. But no. They let the next ones in. We asked why and they told us we were more men than women (there were some other guys who tried to get in with us, although we clearly said it was just the 4 of us). Since those other guys left and it was just the 4 of us, it would have made sense if she let us in. "Then why are we waiting here?", I asked. "I've been asking that myself" she said. Well, you're a great human being, if you notice that we're waiting for nothing and don't say a word. The whole situation was just unbelievable.
I believe it's a good place to dance. I would have put it a star more, but there were also couple of things that were not of my taste.
However, I'd go again, because there's not really many places you can dance.
Two floors there, the upper floor is mainly the dance floor. The air there was a bit "heavy", packed with fog. That's partly also a bonus, coz it creates an interesting atmosphere. People are indeed dancing. When I went, there was a techno-deep house dj (I don't like this music so much).
Apart from that, big bonus their free entrance and their not high-nose bouncer-policy. Drinks-service was quick, thanks for that too!

Great place to have a drink or party all night long. There’s no entry fee and the staff is super nice and friendly. A must for everyone in Zurich.
Pour un petit verre de coca ( en plus en cannette et chaude) servi avec une paille de côté, attente beaucoup trop longue et il n'y avait que nous dans le Bar (un dimanche) pour 4 ou 5 serveurs. Lorsque nous demandons des verres ce n'est pas possible, ni qu'il n'y a des glaçons... comment font-ils les cocktails dans ce cas?

The staff of Bagatelle steals your stuff (jackets, scarfs etc) and then demands money for that. Most stupid thing I have ever seen. Instead of putting two bar workers to steal the property of the guests, to argue with people, these barmen could have been selling drinks and the bar would have made much more money. surely I don´t want to go back there with my friends. We spent a lot of money in that place and in the end got treated very badly. I hope this 3 franks you blackmailed from me makes up that me and my friends and guests wont to come to this place anymore.
Wouldn't let us in because we're a group of 3 guys without girls. Been there before and it was an ok place, but this level of sexism is not acceptable (and is probably is illegal) in 2016.

A nice bar and club. Downstairs it's just a bar, upstairs is a club. It opens close to midnight on the weekend. They play different music, with a focus on electronic and pop.
Great sound and Staff. Specially the Staff is extremely friendly. They gave us a free round of drinks. The decor is fine, but nothing more. It's a little bit to hipster for me at times. But there's no admission fee. So I can't complain.
