Delightful meal under the viaduct arches. I had a lovely deconstructed beef stew that was light and savory. Highly recommended.
Wonderful location with nice, well lit patio seating. Fantastic service and the food was amazing. Try the bone marrow and the swedish meatballs!! The mussles are also a masterpiece with a hint of spice but not too spicy!

Although the place (terrasse) is very nice and service friendly, 36.- francs for an average burger with frozen fries is definitely overpriced.

Excellent service. Came here for breakfast, we ordered the big breakfast for two (can’t remember what exactly it was called). It was very good and plenty of food for two people. Also had a couple of mimosas, be prepared they are strong but DELICIOUS! Highly recommended!
Great experience and very tasty and fresh food. Liking my breakfast sweet, I went for the Full Breakfast option. Everything was full of flavour, from honey to ham to breads to cheeses. My black coffee was great as well. Prior to coming there for brunch, I read quite a few negative reviews about their staff but decided to take a chance as my focus was the food. Our overall experience was very enjoyable and the staff tending to our needs was very pleasant and helpful. She took a moment to answer our questions and provided some recommendations related to tourist attractions as well as Swiss cuisine restaurants. I would go back there again.

Kronenhalle is a restaurant with a lot of history and tradition. It is one of the last restaurants to still have a dress code for its guests. In addition, the restaurant has a very impressive art collection (art lovers should visit).
The food was of high quality, the meat was from local butchers and was of fine quality. It is noticeable that the waiters are well trained and try to give the customers a good experience. During full dinner service it took the waiters a bit long to get to us, which is understandable.

We went there for a company event. It was all good, and service was not bad at all. It was just one waiter who took ok me for a Russian and tried talking Russian to me. At some point he got quite rude, probably because I could not speak Russian back to him. I hope it is his summer job, because I do not want to see him again

Very classy, aristocratic atmosphere and seriously THE BEST service in Zurich. Our waitress was super attentive, super nice and definitely super beautiful 🥰 All the staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly starting from the hostess and all the personnel. Eye contact and you have their full attention which is (as we've discovered) rare in Zurich for a tourist.

A must in Zurich if you enjoy fine dining. Kronenhalle was in my partner’s bucket list for so long and it was a pleasure to be fortunate enough to come with.
The food is memorable and the service very professional. One waiter is a character.

Gorgeous dining room full of art from famous artists like Chagall, Picasso, Miro, and others. It’s like eating in a museum. My waiter was friendly, attentive and helpful, and shared a book about the art collection that was beautiful. Note that there is an unwritten dress code that is not on their website and the host who sat me seemed offended by my sneakers. The wine by the glass menu is lacking which was disappointing

The male staff was kind and welcoming. The food and coffee is delicious and we particularly enjoyed basking in the sun at the outside sitting area while having our brunch. We both had a lovely time 🩵 the crepes are yummy and the portion for the quiche great too.
Great service, food and beverages are great too. The atmosphere is classy and relaxed. I have visited the place around 2 pm. I will re visit the place again at night as well.

Lovely location and the fries taste ok but the service is absolutely terrible. The lady at the cash register was extremely rude and unfriendly. If you hate your job, change your career!!

An iconic place in Zürich. On a warm and sunny day it is lovely to sit outside in their beergarden style open area. The menu at lunch is rather limited. I had the burger, which was good and the portions were generous. But that said: 37 CHF is definitely not for the faint hearted.
Markthalle restaurant is inside of the Markthalle im Viadukt, a gourmet market with products not for all...
Anyway, the restaurant has a great service and plenty of options in the menu.

Overall: very delicious and flavorful food, it was pretty easy to walk in and just get a table, though it's very popular and people tend to hang out.
Food: I had the croquet monsieur and it was delicious and flavorful. The side salad was also fresh and lightly dressed.

Atmosphere is interesting, but try to get a table on the side, otherwise you‘re pretty exposed. Service was weird but good at their job - just strange sometimes. Food is great and traditionally Swiss.
First time eating in the restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. Saturday night and not hectic. Really nice chilled atmosphere. We only had a main course each and shared a dessert but everything was delicious. Special mention to our server Justin. He was so attentive and friendly. Bravo.

Food Court with different opportunities for Lunch. I bought pasta from Mercator. They are freshly made in the Back of the Shop also excellent ingredients in sauces: Very delicious! I loved every bite of it. 5* despite the small portion.

Excellent service and food. I can honestly say I've not had a really good meal out in England for about 4 years, so this was hugely needed! We had the mixed vegetable omelette and the meatballs with mash, plus a mixed salad to start. Giving 5 stars because it really couldn't have been any better!
Classic Swiss restaurant with an amazing art collection. Dining here is a bit pricey, but remember that literally the museum visit is also included in the price, and you have a unique opportunity to dine in next to Chagall, Miró, Bonnard, Picasso and other masterpieces.

The crepes are really good [we have try the classics, the one with chocolate and the one with lemon and sugar: both of them were super tasty] and the menu offers interesting plates. The check is absolutely reasonable, especially for a city like Zurich, and everything is treated with care and attention to details. The guys of the staff are very kind and smiling: they make you feel really welcome. The venue is a little bit small and it can be quite crowded, however it is possible to reserve a table and eventually it is possible to sit at the counter.
A cozy french cafe in the old city area of Zürich. The tea is just amazing matching the sweet crepes. Looking forward to being back for a croissant and coffee.

Lovely place, just off main traffic in Servette. Terrace in the back is great, pizza are lovely & specials (plat / dessert du jour). Some gluten free dishes too!
First place i tried in the country and at the beginning was scared of the prices…you have to know eating in switzerland is highly expensive..thank god the food was amazing, i loved the sweetness of the risotto and the crunchiness of the nuts!! The meatballs were tasting like actual meat burgers and the mashed potato was also nice. I also liked the bread so much…be careful if you ask for tap water as they may charge for that too (5 eur)

Downright atrocious. Both 'salads' in the picture cost 13 bucks, the watermelon salad was four slices of melon and some pepper, the croutons were not even toasted. The service was poor, the kitchen inflexible. It was not possible to change a side salad into a serving of fries.

A very nice cafe right in the heart of Zurich. Cozy with good fresh air as it spans both sides of the building. Also has outside seating facing the river.

Awesome place for authentic swiss food. It's pricey, like almost anything in Switzerland, but this place is worth it. Romantic occasion, or business meeting, or social catch up. Probably only not great for a family outing with small kids. Otherwise don't hesitate.
I booked this place for dinner because we heard good things, it looked cool and their menu was quite appealing. We made reservations for 7:30 on a Saturday. The place does look cool, and I’d be interested to visit their garden during the day. We were seated and after about 30 minutes our order was taken. That’s a little while without anything to drink… right?

The ravioli was really nothing special even though it had some fancy garnishes. For 34CHF each entree I’d say I was pretty disappointed. But the soup was very good. Unfortunately for me Riithalle has gone into my category of overpriced Swiss restaurants with mediocre food.

I liked the service and the desert and also the effort that they put for the food to look good, but seems to my girlfriend and myself that it was too salty.

I think one of the best pizzas in town. Also doesn’t hurt your pocket. It’s my go-to place whenever I crave pizzas. Also, super friendly staff, always with smiles. Highly recommended

Simple and good food, quick service and very friendly staff. Even some assistance for us as non-French speaking guests.
Chilled spot very close to the lake.
Nice terrace off Bahnhofstrasse. Menu during main hours nice, during off hours ok. One of the best Ceasars salads in town. When one dessert item was not available maitre and staff made everything possible to compensate the disappointment. They made it. Go there have an relaxed atmosphere and enjoy.

Fantastic place, 8 taps and huge variety of beers/bottles (imagine 50 pages of menu), super friendly stuff. Some rear gems and really fresh hoppely beers. Would definitely come again even if it's not that close to home. Highly recommended.
I ordered Jack Daniels with water. There was so litlle whisky that it was almost tasteless. They charged me 16 euros for it. In other bars it was not cheap either but at least they are not so stingy with the alcohol.... I don't recommend this place.

Spitzenklasse. One of the trendiest bars in Zurich as far as I am concerned. I loved the ambiente. The service staff was well trained and friendly. The Negronis we ordered were spot on. Well done!!
The best beer bar in Zurich area, and one of the best bottle shops. Not the biggest tap count, but always an interesting selection on tap (flights available) - and if you get bored of them, most of the bottled beers are available cold :)

Das Lokal hat uns ziemlich und ganz umgehauen. Gutes Kosten Leistungs Verhältnis. Sicher komme meine Wenigkeit hier mit meinen Bekannten her und kann mich darauf verlassen makellos betreut zu werden. Das Gasthaus ist echt äußerst stilvoll möbliert. Keine billige Dekoration, stattdessen es war farblich echt vieles überaus gut aussehend auf einander angepasst. Das Lokal ist durchgehend fein und wir hatten dort einen herrlichen Nachmittag.

The Crafts is your number one place to go if you‘re a beer lover. Over 650 variations of delicious ales. The owner, Christian, is very friendly and has the competence fo find the right beer for everyone. While most of the seating is on the inside in the summer you can also sit on a cosy lounge in front of the little beer shop/bar/lounge.
Really excellent bottle shop with 8 draught selections, great venue for an evening drink with friends. A little bit of a surprise location. Indoor and outdoor seating with AC in summer (particularly delightful this summer during the heatwave). Some unusual and difficult to find bottles from a variety of Swiss and international breweries, as well as known good options for those feeling less adventurous. Owner is very nice as well and definitely willing to help find the right choice for you.

Nice beer selection. Amazing that they offer free delivery in all of Switzerland. On the other hand it's a little patchwork style how you write per mail, WhatsApp or call to do an order.
