Es handelt sich um ein Stückchen Fundament des Castillo das von zwei kleine Tunneln, vielleicht 15m, also von zwei Seiten anzuschauen ist. Dazu bekommt man am Eingang eine Beschreibung, die in verschiedenen Sprachen übersetzt ist.

Place with amazing view, seeing the old town and centre of San Sebastian after a long climb is so relaxing! Definetely worth it.
Que lo tengan cerrado es lamentable.Nunca hay nadie y los que nos decidimos a subir ver todo con candados .Si subes más arriba hay una ruta muy chula para ir con perros.

Tickets sold before the entrance, closer to the street, but there was a guard informing everyone where the tickets are sold not far from the stand.
The fortress is beautiful with lots of interesting details and great inner courtyards out of which two were accessible.
At the end of the tour you will end up in the part they use for the city council (and if you see the screen with the political parties, don't google it).

After visiting Seville, Granada, and Cordoba and seeing the influence of the moors, this renovated and still used palace was a different experience that nonetheless adds to the mix of different cultural influences on Spain. Make sure to take advantage of the audio tour. It presents just in time context making the history and location memorable.

Didn’t actually get to the castle because it’s fenced off behind a military zone, but the view of the castle and the hills from the cliff facing it was breathtaking. Worth the walk and only ten minutes from the steps.
Fantastic castle with the most beautiful courtyard. Very interesting app to download on your phone. Closed between 2 and 4 pm. Better book a ticket in advance.
El castillo se encuentra en la parte alta del casco viejo. Recomiendo el acceso desde el jardín botánico que es precioso. Del castillo quedan pocas ruinas pero la vista es bonita. Ha sido restaurado hace unos años pero se nota algo descuidado.
You will have good exercise climbing over this hill. But once you reach there, the view from the mountain, the museum, the small chapel, and the gigantic statue of Christ will make you feel worth the strain to climb up. Special appreciation for the friendly staff of the museum.
Very interesting castle with great views over the surrounding countryside. Recent excavations have uncovered a Jewish settlement and synagogue. Well worth a visit.
A small underground museum where you can learn about the history of Santa Cruz. Descriptions are provided in English as well, though not all of them. There's also a section of the original city wall. I recommend it to people interested in history.

Beautiful palace, cheap visit, especially for people under 30 or students it only costs 1€. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 star rating is because I felt that inside is not recreated in a way to resemble the original form, it's more new
Die mittelalterliche Festung wurde im 9. Jahrhundert errichtet, abgeschlossen wurde der Bau dann 600 Jahre später im 15. Jahrhundert. Mit einer Länge von 640 Meter und einer Breite von bis zu 120 Meter zählt die Festung zu den größten europas. Heute gibt es hier Gastronomie, ein Freilufttheater und eine beeindruckende und schön restaurierte Anlage mit tollem Ausblick.
What an historic place. With views forever. Well maintained and watch out as the tower and other buildings only open at certain times of the day. Gardens and cafe free to visit. Don't miss this outstanding place.
We took the fantastic English tour of this magnificent historical site. The guide really made the many layers of history come alive. Online advance reservations are required, but you only pay the entrance fee upon arrival.
Curioso lugar con un jardín botánico muy bien cuidado junto al río Ebro. Desde el castillo se pueden observar las iglesias, el río, el convento y parte de Miranda de Ebro y la comarca.
You NEED to make an online reservation first. I assume it’s not as busy outside of the summer months, but I had to come back the next day because I didn’t realize they would run out of tickets. A few other people were in my situation too, so it’s quite common.
I highly recommend one of the guided visits. It really helped appreciate and understand everything we were seeing. There’s one in English at 11 AM and one in French at 5 PM and a bunch in Spanish.

It's very cool to climb this mountain to enjoy a cool view over San Sebastian. It was a bit of a climb, and since it was 34 degrees, we both sweat a lot, but very worth it. On top of the mountain, there's a castle which is free to enter. We didn't go into the museum since it was closed, but still worth the climb. There's plenty of water points along the way, and even toilets. And cool photo opportunities a-plenty!

This was a nice late afternoon stop on a hot summer day, interesting rooms to explore and nice architecture details. There was a gravel parking lot toward the back and a nice little park around the grounds. Just be mindful of the time when you go as it is closed between 2:30-4pm.
A day trip to San Sebastian, a resort town which is about an hour drive from Bilbao. There are quite alot you can see in one day. As the town is not very big so the best way to explore is by walking.
Such a nice natural path which leads you up to the main ruins on the top of the hill. Easy way to reach the top, stable and really well maintained road.
Completely worthed as it has many more paths to follow and observe the view from different angles. Really good view of the sea side from up there!
P.s there is a coffee shop where you can have a rest in case you get tired and want to refresh a bit! (With a bathroom as well).

Amazing views and a nice cool and peaceful climb to the top, we preferred this to the funicular on the other side, which you have to queue for and it was full of children. The light in the morning is better from Urgell and the way up is tree lined. There are washrooms a small church at the top.
De las formas que podían haber restaurado el castillo, creo que esta es la peor. Ha perdido toda la esencia. No es un castillo sino una edificación que dentro alberga restos de un castillo. Sólo está abierto cuando hay alguna exposición, festejos o evento.
We tried to vist but the parking was quite far away and we were supposed to walk up the hill to the castle. Instead we went to the parador nearby - delicious cuisine and large parkings! As we are not young anymore and the way was too long for us to walk and no close parking to the entrance, we did not visit the ruins of the castle.

Magnífica experiencia, pasada la zona de las cuadras hay una extensión muy grande habilitada como campo para Airsoft con todo tipo de coberturas y algún pequeño edificio.
Es un poco caro a no ser que tus amigos y tu llevéis vuestras propias armas y equipamiento.

Surprised with the visit. Very positive. There was queue just before the museum opened but it was easily managed and moved quickly. We were three and just paid 7€ for a guided visit with a group, really affordable. Our tour guide, Alvaro gave us all the details to understand the whole structure. Although it was extremely noisy and in my opinion, school visits should have specifically reserved slots or even days. It's great cultural place for them to learn but also hard to keep kids on low level of noise when the excitement hits. Other than that, a great day learning about it. Defo a must go when in Zaragoza.
Van buitenaf leuk om te bekijken, en ook de kerk ernaast. Blikvanger was eerder de enorme kloof, waar je naar beneden kunt. Over de kloof is een enorm elastisch touw gespannen waarop capriolen werden uitgehaald door locals.
Es gratuito,disponen de baños y ascensor,cuentan con Jardín Botánico y tiene vistas de Miranda de Ebro,no hay guías,se deben registrar al entrar,no venden nada y tampoco hace falta,así que disfruten del espacio y cuidenlo

Wonderful views from the top of the castle of the area around Lorca. Very interesting guide. The castle is the site of a very up market hotel but the historical elements have been very well preserved and seem to coexist comfortably. There is a small cafe with a performance area and the original synagogue is really beautifully preserved and presented.
The castle is located on a steep incline and it's not suitable to walk to unless you're an experienced walker. I went by private coach.

Ambiente familiar en plena naturaleza, los merenderos en buen estado para barbacoas y zona muy amplia para volar tu dron. Recomendable en primavera.
Eh intentado modificar los horarios y al parecer a Google no parece importarle que estos horarios son falsos. Tengo fuentes en el gobierno y la entrada a la zarzuela está totalmente prohibida a la población civil. Amenos de que seas invitado de la corona y la familia real ... si intentas entrar, te llevaras un buen susto como mínimo. No intentes entrar no esta abierto al público gracias

Nice castle in high prominent position with great panoramic views over the town and surrounding countryside. Free to wander around or for a small fee you can go inside some of the buildings. Be aware though that you have to get your timings just right as they only open certain buildings at certain short times. Plenty of free parking.

Se trata de un paseo agradable, con más o menos dificultad si se accede desde el pueblo o desde monte. La conservación muy básica.

The Castle of San Cristóbal was the first fortification system on the island. What is left are underground foundations. The famous El Tigre cannon was installed in a dedicated room at the centre. Apparently, El Tigre is the cannon that injured Nelson during the Battle of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (1797).
Podría ser un sitio para pasear, pero... alambradas de espino, carteles prohibiendo el paso y hasta cámaras de seguridad si accedes desde Alfocea, todo ello en medio del campo y dentro del término municipal de Zaragoza. Si pasamos, nos acogerán como ilegales o tendremos que pagar una multa?

Wenn man etwas Zeit hat, auf jeden Fall einen kleinen Abstecher wert. Der Besuch ist kostenlos, die Anlage ist unterirdisch und erfrischend kühl. Es gibt Zugang zu Resten der alten Verteidigungsanlage und eine original Kanone aus der Nähe sehen.
Wenn man in der Nähe ist, auf jeden Fall einen kurzen Abstecher wert, sofern man sich für Geschichte interessiert.

Edificación construida en el siglo XIX sobre los restos de una de las antiguas torres de la Alcazaba de Alhama. De los restos originales de la Alcazaba no se conserva nada excepto algunos restos de la muralla. Tuvo una gran importancia en la reconquista de Granada. Como curiosidad, en este lugar se inventó el billete al portador

También llamado de Qadrit, es una fortificación de origen islámico que se remonta al 935, cuando Abderramán III mandó construirla por motivo del asedio de Saraqusta, motivado por la negativa del gobernador que seguir directrices del califa. Tras esto pasará a estar en desuso hasta que en el s. XIII, Pedro II de Aragón los de junto a la villa de Cadrete como pago de una deuda con Pedro Navascués. Jaime I años más adelante repetirá lo mismo beneficiando a Artal del Huerto. Alfonso III vendrá a perpetuidad aJuan Zapata, embajador y Justicia del reino. Ya en el siglo XIV pasará a formar parte de las presiones del vecino Monasterio de Santa Fe de Huerva. Sería tras la expulsión de los moriscos aragoneses en 1610 cuando esa fortaleza pasaría al olvido quedando en ruinas y poco a poco deteriorándose hasta nuestros días. Pero en 2003 Gracias a asociaciones de vecinos y el Ayuntamiento se comenzó su restauración y consolidación. Su localización responde a la típica de las fortalezas defensivas musulmanas, sobre un cabezo fácilmente defendible por los laterales y con montañas más altas por detrás para hacerlo menos visible y más difícil de localizar. Pertenecía al perímetro defensivo de Saraqusta (junto con otras 10 fortificaciones). Destaca su magnífica torre de cuatro pisos de altura que en realidad es un recrecido alrededor de la primitiva torre musulmana de la cual aún se conservan algunas bóvedas en su interior e incluso decoración en el tercer piso, lo cual arroja luz sobre su uso que podría haber sido habitable. Aún quedan zonas por descubrir, sobre todo en su recinto inferior.
Bonito paseo hasta el castillo. No hemos subido por el cartel, aunque había gente que ha subido. Nosotras lo hemos respetado. Desde la rotonda de juslibol habrá una hora, más menos.
Solo son unas ruinas, pero las vistas merecen la pena disfrutar
Fácil de llegar hasta el pero decepcionante. No hay gran cosa para ver más que sirve de mirador de la zona. Además es posible que sea gratuito pero ahora está cerrado por el Covid 19 y el ayuntamiento no permite visitas al mismo. Todo seco alrededor. Algún que otro le sirven de hacer deporte por los senderos.
Muy bonito el sitio y las vistas. Pero cuidado que es zona restringida por los militares, es muy dificil darse cuenta que no se puede entrar, la valla que impide la entrada esta destrozada y parece que lleva años así, pongo foto del estado de la valla. Pero hay un cartel que pone que no se puede entrar
Bonito castillo en el centro del pueblo, enclavado junto al paseo del cisne. Fue construido sobre la antigua alcazaba árabe, de piedra irregular, de color rojo intenso. Propiedad conquistada por los Reyes Católicos. Actualmente propiedad privada, sin posibilidad de visita.
