Rented a bike from them for 4 days in Paris. I was looking for a place that seemed to rent to already cyclists and this was definitely the place! Vincent was easy to communicate with, bike was in great condition, gears working, wheels/tires and brakes working perfectly. Made my stay in Paris amazing! Highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience with Richard on the Hidden Paris tour—his knowledge of history, architecture, and living like a local brought another dimension to our visit in Paris. He also shared recommendations for his favorite creperie and Boulangerie and they were EXCELLENT (and inexpensive, too!). The bikes and helmets were comfortable and in good condition; the group size was manageable. Our only complaint is that the tour is marketed as accessible to everyone, but it really isn’t. Paris is a crowded city and not completely flat. Several folks in our tour struggled to navigate around cars, narrow streets, and to keep pace. Overall we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone (that’s adept at city biking ;)

We rented two bikes to travel around the Loire valley for a week. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience of this bike rental! The bikes were in great shape.

The only disappointing thing was the bike pump provided in the repair kit did not work. Unfortunately, we only realized this after blowing a tire far away from a bike shop, and had to walk a far distance to buy a new one to repair the flat. Probably we should have confirmed the pump worked in advance, but we assumed that the repair kit provided with the rental would be in working order.

I rented a very well maintained bike from 6clo for a week long ride from Paris to Normandy. The rental experience was very positive, the bike was great, and Vincent goes out of his way to make it easy for you. I will rent from 6clo again without hesitation, hopefully for another bike tour in France next year. Thanks, Vincent!

I originally did a tour with Bike About in around 2016 with my mom, led by Paul. He has now become the owner of a cozy bike-themed café shop (Le Peloton café) where the Bike About tours now meet & start. Just a week ago, I did the tour again while visiting Paris with my partner (his first visit of the city). He thoroughly enjoyed all the history and facts provided by Richard, our guide (Hidden Paris tour) & I learned some new things, too! Highly recommend!

The bike ride was easy and wonderful. The bikes were in good repair. A lovely way to spend the day. Stop in for a refreshment along the way.

We found this rental place and rented two bikes at 11pm for pick up the next morning at 1030. One of the guys was there by the parking garage to hand us the bikes, a lock, and the helmet I rented. 5 minutes later, we were riding to the Palace of Versailles. Super easy rental, return the bikes between 430 and 7 pm. Paris by bike was an awesome way to see the city! Thank you so much for making this possible.

Terrible service!!! Never take those bikes! Bicycles are uncomfortable, terrible service, a tire burst on the first day of use. If you have subscribed and you don't like the bike, then you will still pay for the whole month, the support service does not pay attention to your comments.

I booked a bike for the same day. Normally this is not a great idea in France. But no problem here. Here's how it worked. Vincent stores a wide range of bikes at a garage at 36 Rue Saint Paul. There is no shop per se. Vincent showed up at the appointed time with a road bike equipped with Shimano 105, more or less in my size, and a helmet. I returned at the appointed time and gave him back his bike. The bike was in good condition, shifting was perfect , braking was excellent with TRP HY/RD cable/hydraulic brakes. Vincent is a warm and welcoming guy and the next time I'm in Paris I'll do it again.

I visited Zoomo office last few days ago and gave a review for not getting good service. But today I went again for my bicycle problem

Great bike hire shop (we used them twice). Good bikes, helpful staff and very convenient for parking the car and cycling the, well maintained, Voie Verte (bicycle greenway). These routes are pretty flat and take in lovely scenery with villages just off the route for coffee breaks and lunch.

My wife and I rented for 12 days and highly recommend 6Clo. Vincent was helpful and responsive when needed. We had mechanical problems with one bike and he replaced it right away. Good touring bikes and well maintained. Paris is an awesome bike riding town, you can ride safely everywhere. Go for it!

Awesome experience: the staff was very kind and efficient. The bike was ready to roll, and Marcelo, Terry & Emilie even went out of their way to install a baby-seat for me. The bike rides beautifully, and the double lock system feels secure enough, even for Paris;) A great Swapfiets experience throughout so far.

There were three lovely gentlemen at the bike shop this afternoon, surrounded by bicycles. It was very pleasant to chat with them, but, sadly, they do not rent the bikes out. Since I was there for a rental, having seen this service advertised on the web site and having failed to get through by telephone, I regret that I must rate the shop poorly on this count. When I pressed the question of when I might in fact rent a bike, they suggested that I could return in March to do so. At this time of the year, in January, it seems that they only play a support role for organized bicycle tours.

Fantastic tour of Versailles! Tess was awesome and shared a ton of info that we never would have learned by ourselves. The bikes make it easy to cover a lot of ground so you can see more in a short time (Versailles is huge!). We liked the tour so much we booked the hidden Paris tour later in the week which was a lot of fun!

Totally enjoyed our hidden paris bike tour with Simon today. We had a ball of a time riding around Paris in brand new bikes !!

Simon was super friendly and had in-depth knowledge of Paris !! He also made the tour super fun with witty commentary :-)

I was going to attend to this bike tour and agreed a time to join to group tour but when I came a guide said me a group was full and you could not join to a tour a day was spoiled because it is affected all my plans

My partner and I had an truly wonderful experience on the Paris Monuments tour with Simon. We received a fun, humorous, and helpful overview of all the greatest hits in Paris from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower. Our guide was accommodating and thoughtful and created a warm culture for our small group that made everyone feel like they were among friends. The next time I’m in Paris I hope to take another tour with this company (particularly Simon) and would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

Two part review.

Stumbled across Bike About Tours through Jay Swansons YouTube vlogs for Versailles (recommend checking out) Took the Paris Monuments and Versailles Picnic tours.

Part 1

Really enjoyed touring around Paris on bikes getting to take in all of the sites. To be clear since you are covering so much ground this is more of site seeing, less an in depth deep dive tour of every monument you see. With the time available though guide did provide us with some fun facts and did answer questions as they came up. If your trip allows for it I highly recommend doing this on the first day of your trip so that you get to see all of the main sites and make a game plan on which you’d want to go back and see more of. One of the best take aways is you’re taught general road safety on how to use the bike lanes/streets to navigate around Paris. This gave us the confidence to rent Lime bikes and scooters the rest of our trip to cut down on travel time between sites.

Part 2

Super pleased with our decision to use them for our tour and picnic at Versailles.

Had Josh as our guide for the day. He provided a super entertaining, humorous, and informative tour around the town and grounds. Took the time to understand what the group wanted to learn to customize the tour to that. Also was SUPER helpful navigating the metro to actually get out to Versailles.

Tour consisted of three main parts: touring the market, tour of the gardens, and then picnicking on the canal. Note- ticket does include access to Versailles but that is self guided.

Touring around the market to buy supplies for the picnic was super fun and gave the opportunity to interact with local vendors. Could have spent the entire day here and been just fine. Had the opportunity to buy pretty much anything you could want for a picnic. Highly recommend picking up a bottle of wine for later in the afternoon.

Touring around the gardens was super fun and informative. By designed booked a Tuesday tour to be able to see some of the fountains that were on, but wasn’t as many as we’d hoped for. Based on what our group wanted to see a lot of time was spent at the Petit Trianon and Marie Antoinettes village. Biking between the spots really put into perspective just how massive Versailles is.

Got super lucky with a Blue Bird day for weather which made for the perfect picnic down in the lower end of the canal. Group found a nice quiet spot to spread out and enjoy everything that was purchased during the market tour. Note- lunch is more like 2:00-3:00 clock so eat a snack when recommended.

After lunch bikes are returned to storage location and then you are walked to the entrance of Versailles and given instructions on how to proceed and get back to Paris. Since Josh did a great job throughout the tour of explaining the history of Versailles we felt very prepared to do the tour self guided. It was also nice not being tied to a group which allows you to go at your own pace.

Note- if you bring your kids make sure they can competently and safely ride a bike on busy streets and bike paths. Couple of kids were in our group didn’t posses this and made for stressful/unsafe biking at times.

Great experience with Swapfiets. All worked perfectly and its the best way to get around in Paris easily and cheaply. Especially good was that even though I arrived shortly after the shop was supposed to close Marcelo was very friendly and took back the bike without a problem. He even spoke some German. Great customer experience! @Swapfiets this guy embodies your values.

Based on good experiences from Swapfiets in Germany, I decided to choose Swapfiets France for my 6 months business trip in Paris, too.
Directly on my first weekend in Paris, I was simply able to pick my bicycle up without any difficulties or time delays. Following my time, the ride stayed in good condition and did not make any problems at all. Especially considering the terrific traffic in Paris, the bicycle was perfectly suitable for all kind of situations.
I also appreciated one "refreshment" of the bicycle after a few months which was done perfectly in a few minutes by the team within the shop.
At all, I definitely recommend the abo of Swapfiets for the current price (which is definitely fair considering the well service & product).
Thanks again to the always friendly Parisian-Team and respect to their performance within the shop! The bike definitely made my trip more enjoyable!

I am really disappointed with the service. As much I liked the person that helped me on the day I have been twice let down. I attended my appointment to repair my tyres as planned, to find out that the person in charge he was not aware of my appointment and also to be told that they don't have the tyres. So I booked another appointment for today, 2 weeks later, but before I went I thought to call and asked just in case there was another problem. I called and I was told he was not at the shop, also he was not sure if he had the tyres and if I could tell him again the size of my tyres! I am really really disappointed because he was again not aware of my appointment and that he did not even think to contact me to tell me that he didn't have the tyres. So this shop for me is an absolute No No!

Cycletic Rental Service is very well priced for the well-serviced, safe, easy to ride bikes they hire out. The staff are very kind, helpful, professional and totally trustworthy. My husband and I really enjoyed exploring Lyon by bike, give it a go for sure!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! A simple classy incredible tiny business that gives the best service and transformed my Parisian holiday from an expensive transportation nightmare into a reasonably priced sightseeing JOY! For 40 euros for 5 days and 60 hours of safe biking all over the Paris capital in a well maintained sturdy machine. Thank you so much for the 4 hour city bike tour to familiarize me with the most culturally rich, historic but hip areas in the downtown core. And for the well maintained bike not to mention the training and experience to safely and courageously navigate the cobblestone, the cars, the pedestrian and just the wild make no sense street traffic ...as well as the non stop 24hr goings on safely! All staff are warm, friendly and super informative even to non french speaker. I will be back! I hope the world reads this and gets to know the best side of Paris sightseeing affordably. All readers save your money and Bike Paris from these knowledgable helpers! One more quick note: Veleb street bikes are fine but expensive and complicated for non French speakers to navigate purchasing and only go by the hour. This is the place to go not those ones on the street.

We wanted to rent bikes in Lyon but did not like the quality of the bikes for rent throughout the city. Plus, it was looking pretty expensive since we wanted to bike for an entire day throughout the city. We found this company online and easily were able to rent for a day (we actually elected for a half day as it was really hot). The bikes were delivered to us and he picked them up. He included helmets and a repair kit. The bikes themselves were great. Highly recommend.

Wonderful! The bikes we got were high quality tracking bikes and in extremely good conditions. The service was very nice. They even do brilliant coffee.

Would definitely recommend here, 17e for half a day which will see you easily get to Rouffillac and back with a couple of stops along the way. As other reviewers have mentioned, friendly English speaking gentleman who was very helpful. Free puncture repair kit, bike lock and helmet if required. Opt for the comfort bike - your derrière will thank you for it!

We had a great experience with cycletic. From e-mail contact upfront to delivery of the bikes and the pick-up, everything was easy, uncomplicated and well prepared for us. The bikes have been in great condition! We had a wonderful ViaRhona trip with his bikes. Thanks again for everything!

We took the train from Paris to Lyon and our Cycletic rep arrived promptly with our rental bikes at the Lyon train station- complete with panniers, lock, and helmets. They were in great condition, solid (not light weight road bikes) smooth, and easy to use. We biked 5 days through the Beaujolais region and had a fantastic time. Upon return to the train station, Cycletic was there to meet us. Effortless travel, fast, responsive. Would highly recommend. So much better than hauling our bikes on the plane/train. :)

My experience was great. I rented a bike and rode it around Lyon for a week. It was of high quality, nicer than my bike at hime. I especially appreciated the front shock absorber.
