I am not sure this exist though. I was left outside and they asked me to send my Id and wire transfer the sum of £500 before having access to the property. Why can’t I do all that when I get to the apartment . But no they wanted me to pay the deposit of £500 before they allow me in. I wish I can give them zero stars. Be careful with these guys

As most of the reviews suggest, it is a scam. They blame customers for everything whilst having poor communication regarding the facility. The customer service gets mad way much earlier before you just because you challenge their inappropriate approach. And apparently, they deny everything they said over the phone and deliberately disadvantage you in written texts. Also, they promised a phone call after 5 mins that never arrived and they screamed to me before I said anything… I don’t want to repeat all the terrible details I experienced, but just to remind everyone to avoid a place which will both waste your time and money

Clean tidy welcoming and just nice. Really close to everything we wanted but far enough away to have a quiet chill in the evening. We will definitely be staying here again.

My Wife and I spent 6 Fantastic days Fishing at Lakeside both from the decking of our Lodge and from the bank.
The owners of the lake are very down to earth and could not be more friendly with help and advice.
For my wife who is a fan of the Grand Designs program, staying in a lodge at the Lincolnshire Round house was a reel treat.
For me, good size Carp and the odd Monster to chase was both thrilling and knackering as 60 plus landed in the week 😵‍💫

Me and my wife booked a superior double for a weekend. When we got to the room it was clearly not the one we booked. It was dirty, dusty and the bed had the biggest dip in it. We were told they booked all the types of room we booked and there were none left. We left and was told to contact reservations to arrange a refund. They don't answer the phone amd have ignored all our message and attempts.
Avoided at all costs! Hotel over the road which we ended up staying in is much nicer and cheaper and a thousand times cleaner.

Me and My friends stayed here last week, not going to lie we were nervous about staying.. After reading the reviews but honestly I don't know what apartment these people are talking about as ours was lovely, clean, and we had x2 double beds one room with a en suite, I mean we weren't there a lot, but was nice to stay and comfy beds. Would stay again :)

This place is by far my favourite. So peaceful and quiet. The lodges are spot on and have everything you need, I could honestly live there. The fishing is awesome. The lake has a good head of carp, I've been twice and broken my personal best both times. They also have a couple of sturgeon and cat fish. The owners house is beautiful and the owners themselves are really lovely, welcoming, friendly and always happy to answer any questions. This has become a place I will visit multiple times a year.

The staff were nice. But it needs a major upgrade. The room for a studio apartment was small. It was very smelly like dank. We were there during the heatwave and no Aircon. Small shower and every time you sat on the toilet the lid would hit you in the back. View from window was awful.

Nice location, very central. The curtain blinds of the room designated to us are really dirty! Next morning, the cleaners are so noisy along the hallway that we can hear from our room. Never again...

Don’t book this property they charged me £99 and didn’t send me any email till next day and the guy on phone hung up on me

I visited here in 2022 with my adult Son, we loved it so much we brought my Husband and other Son with us this year. The Lodge (Kingfisher) is lovely, has a rustic feel, fairly well equipped, spacious and with beautiful views across the Lake, the log burner in the evening was just lovely.
The fishing was excellent, My Husband caught multiple large carp with limited experience carp fishing, and we had a lot of smaller fish too! We loved the visits from the Ducks and Rosie the Cat and we couldn't have wished for a more relaxing time. The place is quiet and friendly and we can't wait to rebook a different lodge for next year....we hope to slowly try them all! Thanks a million.

Don't be duped into staying at this place because of the fantastic location and its gorgeous exterior, like I was. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
I have travelled a lot, especially in Asia, and Hyde Park Executive Apartments is the WORST place I have ever stayed.
My partner and I stayed for 6 nights in May 2023, and at that time the cost ranged from around $200 to $400 a night. We encountered many issues, including no hot water, having to change rooms, wrong sized sheets on the bed (& hence the bottom sheet did not cover the mattress), plus questionable hygiene and cleaning practices such as cutlery with food stuck to some of the forks, a cockroach in the shower and a window that was bolted so that guests could only open it up to 6-8 inches. Possibly due to pigeons (or rats), as the window sill was covered in pigeon poo.
However, the biggest issue was/is that the apartment's management refuse to take any responsibility for their service (or 'lack of service') and appear content and able to continue to misrepresent their offering and hence rip off their guests.
While there, I asked to see or talk to the manager, and this request was refused, as was my subsequent request for their complaint form so that I could lodge a formal complaint. That day I sent a complaint via Qantas, as I had booked the apartment through Qantas Hotels.
After 3 months of many emails back and forth via Qantas, which included details and photos, the Apartments' management just repeatedly and dismissively deny everything.

Oh my word, we have just returned from this absolutely beautiful place & what can I say. The Kingfisher lodge we stayed in was amazing, everything catered for, comfortable beds & huge flat screen TVs in all 3 rooms. It was so so quiet & the fishing was out of this world. My husband & son caught over 400lb of fish (42 carp in total), mostly all from off the veranda of the lodge. The lake is so very well stocked, it was non stop fishing. Amy & Paul were just so lovely & asked us everytime we saw them if we needed anything etc. We went for a week but soooo wished we'd booked for longer. We will definitely be booking to go again. Worst than student accommodation.
The room was dirty, the bed had urine stains on! The heat was disgusting, like 38/40 degrees, we had to soak towels with cold water to try sleep, no air-con. The door handle was hanging off. The toilet seat was hanging off. Don’t think the cleaners have hoovers or mops. Only good thing is the location, but will avoid in future and pay the extra £50 for something else next time. There really is nothing executive about this hotel.

What a fantastic place , Peace and quiet, brilliant fishing. Plenty of Carp caught High singles to low doubles, although its obvious larger fish are in there, Tench, Roach and perch also caught, However the Bream, Sturgeon and catfish evaded us. Met Paul a few times when he stopped to chat and see how we were doing and offer advice. A very nice man, down to earth with no airs and graces, unfortunately we did not get to meet Amy. The setting is idyllic the Lodge we stayed in (Lavender) rates 5 star Plus. The beds so comfortable and everything was spotless Cannot fault this place in any way, will return for hopefully many more visits.

Honest opinion, pay more, and stay elsewhere.

We stayed there 2 months ago and very surprised with the condition of the rooms. At first, I was put at the basement which the smell was not very good. Then, I requested to switch the room and I was registered at the second floor. The room was much cleaner than the previous one, but the drainage at the bathroom was not worked very well. Fortunately, the staffs were very responsive and sent the maintenance guy right away to repair the drainage.

The best part of this apartment is the location, which is very near with Hyde Park and 2 subway stations. Moreover, there are also plenty of restaurants near the hotel.

My biggest complaint about this place is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. I completely understand that it is common for folks in the UK to not have air conditioning. But the hotel itself has air conditioning - in the first floor lobby and management offices - just not in the guest rooms on the several floors upstairs to where the summer heat rises. Management obviously knows cooling is necessary and provides it for themselves, but their priority is clearly not the guests' comfort. There isn't even a ceiling or standing fan in the rooms to help circulate air. Climate change is real, get AC for the rooms.
Next, replace the mattresses. The flimsy and extremely uncomfortable ones in the rooms now serve barely any purpose.
Guests should be aware that even when using the tiny lift, there are stairs to maneuver in order to access rooms - difficult for elderly folks or people with large luggage or mutiple cases.
Rooms appear to be randomly stocked with kitchen and household items - the presence of cups, cookware, clothes irons, etc. was not consistent between different rooms.
We were charged an extra fee to check in early, even though the rooms were already cleaned and available. Just nickel and diming ridiculousness.
Location is decent - not posh, but felt safe, and it was close to two Underground stations and a multitude of restaurants and convenience stores.
A travel agent booked this for us - I would not have selected it based on other online reviews and will advise her to stop using it.

If you like wasting money then book here. Takes your money and then cancels last minute. We got this booking as a replacement for a previously cancelled place and I can see why it wasn’t booked already. Cancelled because we are all under 25 however when we managed to get someone over the age of 25 they lied and said that all guests need to be over 25 (their policy says they accept children) and are now refusing to give us a refund despite not letting us stay either.

RUN, RUN, RUN!!!!! These are scammers posing as hotel operators. They took over £1000 from me and have refused to give it back because on the day of my check-in they said the hotel was unavailable. Bad enough you may think, so I made alternative arrangements. The hotel then came back and said the apartment is ready now but it was too late. Because I didn't book in that night (I had a 7 day booking) they said I broke their Ts and Cs so refused to give me back my money. They cancelled my booking not just for that night but the whole 7 days and said I'd broke my agreement. They have so many illegal clauses that you will not be aware of until you've paid your money. They refused to talk to me point blank because I booked through Expedia. There is so much I could say but time wont allow. They are scammers. To this day they still have over £1000 of my money and yet I've never set foot in the place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, Dont say you haven't been warned!!!!!!

Half way through a short stay at lakeside fishing lodges we are staying as a couple and brought our son and his girlfriend for a relaxing couple of days! From the minute we arrived at the beautiful entrance we new we would be able to switch off and chill we phoned Amy at the entrance as we forgot to phone 10 mins before arrival as requested she kindly said drive through go straight to your cabin and relax and enjoy if you need anything just call so friendly after a long drive Paul and Amy have a special way of making you totally chill out Paul later gave me some advice on where to fish a had time for a genuine chat which was nice he’s like this with everyone both of them that’s why there’s so many repeat customers you almost feel like family there there if you need them otherwise you immediately can just switch off and relax and that is what we have done we don’t want to go home it’s just beautiful here even if your not fishing it’s so idillic and extremely peaceful what a little piece of paradise people I’ve spoken to also say exactly the same and the repeat guest travel hours to be able to come here the fishing is fantastic I’ve witnessed all types of fish coming out regularly there’s something here for everyone the fish are immaculate and in the short time we’ve been here lots of upper doubles coming from every swim people are happy here that’s how it makes you feel the cabins have everything you need for a short or long stay very clean and the bed linen and towels are absolutely immaculate the thing that makes this place though is the owners there fabulous people and we will be returning soon thanks for a great couple of days we don’t want to go home!

A splendid Landmark Trust holiday rental, well equipped, views over parkland and interesting visiting opportunities along the canals and in Cannock Chase.

This has to be the worst holiday experience and I can only advice that they should be avoided at all cost.

Customer Service: This is the biggest disservice to the word customer care because its simply non existent. The minute we paid, we couldn't get in touch with anyone for queries. We kept getting passed around and eventually no one responded to either emails or calls.

Value for money: The apartments don't look anything like the pictures, they are pretty worse for wear. The power tripped off during the night and we couldn't get anyone to help. We were in absolute darkness all night. No one responded to our email but they kept sending emails to us to check out at the appropriate time.

Our Experience: From the minute we booked, we saw the deposit which was £500 in small print and you are forced to pay that amount before access to the apartment. We attempted contacting them to discuss the deposit but got no response. You also cannot call until the day of your booking we got to the apartment and had to stay outside for more than 30minutes before we could get in. The lighting in the apartment was poor, the windows were shut in and you could see a fine placed on the window for £500 if you open the window (who fines you for opening a window? If it's broken fix it).

Wonderful place and superb customer service from the hosts Amy and Paul. They are the most genuine down to earth lovely people. Would not hesitate to visit again. Thank you both for going above and beyond for our visit, I've had a great weekend fishing with my dad making great memories.

What a brilliant place so peaceful .sunflower lodge is absolutely amazing everything you could need for your stay. site is spotless .the fishing was great plenty of carp out between 4 and 16 lb .great stay can't wait to return will be booking again soon for sure .didnt have the pleasure of meeting the owners .but the nice chap in the lake side van gave us a nice welcome and told us what we needed to know overall 10/10 for me .

Staff were very lovely and polite however when we got to the room it had very obviously not been cleaned from previous guests, bed was unmade and there was hairs all over bathroom floor and shower, we also didn’t have any pillows and when we went down to reception to ask for some they told us we couldn’t get any until 9:30am the next day, which would have been pointless as we were only staying for one night. Great location and great staff but not very clean and hygienic.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES STAY HERE

I can not stress this enough. We were told to send a security deposit on the day of checking-in, where we were already stressed from traveling for the London Marathon.
We identified a number of health and safety concerns that poses a threat to human life. These were:

- Arching electrical sockets
- NO SMOKE DETECTORS
- Used needle and syringe in the freezer.

With regard to this last point, if a child were to have touched this, not knowing what it was, I don't wish to think what the outcome would be.

Please, if you listen to one review, make it this one. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY.

Disgusting unsympathetic disgrace of a place and customer service team. We were heading down for the London marathon to watch my partners brother run for a charity very close to our heart. On the way, my disabled 1 year old daughter stopped breathing and turned blue, we got rushed to Northampton hospital on blue lights and luckily she was okay in the end. However, when we tried to speak to this place, the man on the end of the phone was useless, he wouldn’t let us speak to his ‘ reservation manager’ he told us to request a refund through email and they emailed us back tonight at 9:30pm with about 5 words telling us we’re not entitled to a refund. We have the discharge papers for my little girl showing that she was admitted in the period of time, her details of her condition and we still unfortunately have lost a £250 deposit and £191 per couple on this stupid place. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE Reviews….

When I got there I called them and was in hold for over 20 minutes, when the finally answered they asked me to pay a £350 security deposit which is outrageous. I didn't know about the security deposit and I didn't have the money for me to pay for it, I told them that this is outrageous and I will not be staying there and will cancel my booking. They then left me a voice message threatening me that they would send my ID to the police. So I will not be booking ever again with them and I advise everyone else to jot book with them.

Beautiful place to stay, every facility you need, close to abbey gardens and the town centre.

Brilliant location for the centre of Bury with a short walk to the Abbey gardens and town centre. Lovely accommodation (small but perfectly formed). Will look to stay again given the facilities ( kitchen, lounge, bedroom, bathroom) all for a good price.

Shugborough Estate great day out but just check opening times best visit Thursday to Sunday

Booked a reservation for 1 night and the place cancelled our booking a month before. When contacted we never got through to an agent and only the support service who said the same things each time and never heard back from them about the cancellation. Disgusting service and if you book here you cannot be confident that you will have a place to stay because they might cancel beforehand. We had to spend double on a different accommodation due to this. Dont waste your time.

Location great, free parking & wifi. Nice old building, plenty of crockery/ cutlery etc. But only 1 toilet roll for 3 people for a weekend and kettle disgustingly full of limescale, stain previously mentioned on earlier review on sofa still there, single beds could do with a mattress topper. These things sadly marred all the good points.

Fantastic location, great house with interesting features but if you intend to stay for a bit longer make sure you stock up on toilet paper, oven gloves and some cooking utensils as what’s provided is just a bare minimum

Whilst the apartment is very good, we couldn't select the location on booking. We are a family with a 2 year old toddler, yet we were put in an apartment above a noisy bar that is open til 2am. Would not recommend for this reason.

Most relaxing place in london. Would definitely recommend.

This property is refusing to refund my stay from May 9th despite the UK imposing a quarantine period from any overseas visitors (I would be visiting from Australia)

Tripadvisor and expedia are also showing the hotel is closed until 1st July. As they are unable to provide the dates I paid for I should be getting a 100% refund.

We absolutely adore Landmark Trust properties and this one did not disappoint! Beautifully reconstructed to its former beauty, this is a wonderful place to stay. A canal wharf is not far away, so are grocery stores & shopping.

Had a great stay in the Centro apartments, the team at City Stay were very helpful! The apartment itself was tidy and clean, it also had everything I needed for my stay. A real bonus was the mood lighting in the living area! I will definitely be booking again

Lovely place to stay. Almost everything we needed for 8 people. Very clean inside and grounds are well kept. It has Wi-Fi, but couldn't get onto internet. Microwave oven could have been a little bigger. All in all, a lovely stay.

Great little apartment for our stay in Milton Keynes. The rooms were a good size and had everything we could need for the weekend. The balcony was a nice touch, but the sun was so bright we couldn't sit out for long as we couldn't see our screen! (Not a fault of the room, of course!) The oven was a bit confusing, and as there wasn't a manual we had to Google how to use it to actually cook, but other than that, everything was easy to use. The Wi-Fi was pretty poor though, and we resorted to using our mobile coverage rather than using it in the end.

Serviced apartments near Hyde Park. Studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom flats are available. Staff is very friendly and will try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Building is approx 10 minutes walk to South Kensington tube station and also Gloucester Road station. Royal Albert Hall is a short walk away. Plenty of restaurants and shops are about 10 minutes walk from the building.

Wonderful place to go as a family if you can cope without TV and internet. We rose to the challenge and loved every minute. It is amazing to be staying on top of 400+ years of history is this fascinating building.

I hag am interesting stay at the Gatehouse, surrounded by all its history and beautiful scenery but the owners should pay a little attention to the simple things like proper curtains, instead of threadbare ones

A charming location in a beautiful, historic property. First seen from a canal boat in the late 70s. I had a bed in one of the turrets, lovely winding staircase up to the draughty extremities. A shame that while it is done so well there are little omissions, such as a towel rack. It seems with holiday cottages like this they don't provide you with simple necessities, like flour, olive oil, salt and pepper. It would make it a much better experience if these items are provided in stead of the very few tea bags and coffee sachets, not nearly enough for a week. Maybe they are playing on the fact that it is so conveniently located for takeaways and eating out.

For me it was nice. Good view and great people for hoisting. However, who clean an out apartment they not cleaning well spatially toilets. Also, we can hear people above us. but in end the apartment her was so nice n homie

Tixall Gatehouse is a wonderful retreat. Just far enough outside of Stafford to make you feel 'remote' yet close enough for groceries, and the odd take away that delivers. The building has been well maintained since my first visit seven years ago, and the new heating system makes it far more cosy. Excellent base for country walks or just a quiet weekend reading.

Tremendous pleasure to live in this historic building. Also an easy and pleasant walk from Shugborough and a lovely pub in Great Heywood.

Work sent us to MK for 10 weeks and we were placed into an apartment in The Hub through City Stay.We had an awful stay and end ended up terminating our rental with City Stay after 8 days; we ended up going with another rival company for the duration of our 10 weeks. The apartment we got was better quality, and 20% cheaper!
During our stay we raised several issues but nothing was done to address these, and there was no show of empathy at all. The Hub is badly run down and poorly maintained; lifts are dirty and creaky and give you the feeling that you may get stuck, and had we been on a lower floor I would have used the stairs, although people are knows to be injecting drugs in the stairwells. The car park is also daggy and dark and badly maintained.
The apartment had no extraction, not even in the bathrooms, walls were badly marked, the carpets need to be cleaned professionally, the oven seal was missing and thus unusable, the vertical blinds were missing some panels/ broken including the bedroom were you could not block out the street light. The washing machine was covered in mould.The sofas had marks on them and there was writing on the coffee table. The toilet seat was disgusting and needs to be replaced.
Surely someone from City Stay comes and checks these places from time to time to pick up things that the cleaners miss? Poor management, and poor maintenance.

Lovely apartment with beautiful views. Ideal location, just minutes from clubs, cinema, bowling, shopping centre & train station and the Sainsbury's in on your doorstep.
Only downside is it isn't ideal for young children unless you watch them like a hawk or bring your own covers for sockets. Will definitely be staying again.

Stayed there for a night but it was alright. The location is definitely a major plus. No issues, but I liked the fact the building was old, as are most in this part, but there was nothing negative in our experience relevant to that.

I flew in from the United States on a business trip and stayed with City Stay for a total of three weeks. The apartment staff was very friendly and even helped me extend my stay on a short notice for another week. The apartments are well maintained, clean, quiet, and located in the hub. They are located right above/next to a grocery store, and walking distance to many restaurants, the train station, malls and gyms. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and I would absolutely stay there again.

I have been staying at the Vizion apartments for the last 2 years and have used a number of the agencies but have found City Stay to be by far the best and most professional . From dealing with my enquires to the standard of accommodation , they are always the company I would recommend and the first one I will contact. They provide friendly and efficient service with competitve pricing . For me their apartments provide a better quality of furnishings and facilities than their competitors , are always very clean and tidy and if you have any issues during your stay , they are always on hand to resolve quickly . I look forward to continuing to stay in Milton Keynes and using City Stay are my preferred company
