We recently attended a wedding here. There had been some mix up/miscommunication re: dietary requirements so there was no food for us at the wedding (as you can imagine having not eaten since 9am by 4.30pm we were just as hungry as everyone else). It wasn’t just the lack of food it was the poor communication and how we were treated by the waitressing team (one waitress in particular) who clearly did not care at all that we had no food and would not answer any of our questions.
We were eventually given a main meal but it was very poor. We were given very mixed messages about what was in the food. Due to pressure from us and the bride we were provided with a dessert however this was exactly the same dessert as everybody else but chopped up, presented different and placed into a different bowl. Needless to say that at this point we did not trust the caterings team ability to cater to those with dietary requirements/allergies so we chose not to eat it. I left the wedding at this point due to the terrible experience from staff and to go and find myself some food! Shocking experience.

Given the amount of rain lately, the course was in fantastic condition with great quality greens highly recommended
I just wanted to say a big thank you for a lovely Mothers Day Sunday lunch. There was 21 of us and the table was set up so well in the conservatory. All the staff were amazing and they even made some different food for my granddaughters who are not keen on carvery. It was a special celebration with family coming from abroad and the first time we had all been able to get together for some years and everything was perfect. Please pass on our thanks to the staff and look forward to coming back.

Recently played the course and had my clubs stolen from outside the club house from someone affiliated with the club.
The manager was helpful in getting some of them back but I'm now without two clubs and will have to buy a new set. Nice course but I would actively avoid.

Driving range: decent facility friendly helpful staff. As someone looking to get into golf I was a bit nervous to come but everyone was helpful.
Fantastic Sunday roast dinner highly recommended.

Excellent driving range. Hi-tech bays. On the pricey side (£5 for 30 balls). Auto tees on most of the bays. Can borrow clubs from the club house for no charge. Didn't play the course but looks nice. There's also "adventure golf" which looked fun.
Great course, easy access, some tricky holes, set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside 5 mins off the M56. Lovely clubhouse. Friendly staff.
Excellent course for Winter Golf. Shame our 3 ball was held up from 7th hole onwards by a 2 ball who were filming themselves. They were completely oblivious to 3 people stood waiting on each tee or in the fairway waiting for the green to clear, whilst they set up the tripod camera to record every shot.(Ready Golf it wasn't) What should of been a perfect winter Golf day, turned into a slow & cold round. This shouldn't be allowed on the course when it's busy. A highly anticipated golf day ruined by oblivious selfish golfers.

The fairways were very muddy but what would you expect at this time of year. The greens were good but would be nice if the other golfers repaired their pitch marks
Absolute brilliant night, 1st class service from all the staff, from being greeted to ensuring our food served hot with a smile, to ensuring our ice bucket was topped up, the food was to a very high standard and quality, enjoyed every course, a great DJ who kept the dance floor full throughout the evening, not out first visit but we see improvement year on year, wondering how it's possible, this venue has an eye for detail and an understanding of proples expectations..... Perfect start to Christmas, See you next year.

Lovely place .Sadly, there are some nasty dreadful golfers who seem to forget the golf course is a public right of way ,thats why only 2 stars

My family and I tried out the new ‘Mad Hatters’ mini golf on Boxing Day. We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend it. It’s ideal for family entertainment and very reasonable.

Warm welcome and friendly staff, unfortunately winter conditions made the course untidy.

Keep getting spam emails from someone claiming to be in partnership with Cardiff Golf Club, firstly Graham Anderson, now Darren Lockwood. Been going on for months. I emailed the club secretary about it August but no reply. Still receiving spam emails.
Great way to spend an hour. We came for a rare lunch date and enjoyed a coffee whilst playing a few of the games at the driving range.

We had rain for a few days before but the course was surprisingly playable. One or two tees were set a bit forward but made no difference to the course. Green staff went out before us and squeegee

Nice crazy golf set up, some holes put up a challenge for most 😅 well worth a visit.
The club house is nicely presented with great food and drink options.

Played in their seniors pair open so had a partner help out when I misjudged a shot. Playing off the yellows made it shorter and enjoyable. The course was well presented and the ball run well on the greens. We had a starter who was very professional in his duties and course advice prior to starting. Half way round we stopped for drinks and cake with the lady captain and other lady members. After this break we enjoyed the rest of the course. Big trees dictate some of the lines off the tee or approach shots. I was pleased to finish 5,4,3. 17 a tricky hole lower down with big trees. I only got there after best drive of the day, I was close enough get wood out. 18 a par three not short so up and down made my day. It was tougher than I remember from years ago so you need to be hitting the ball well or playing to the safer areas which puts pressure on your game! Clubhouse very clean and tidy and organisers, scorers etc very polite along with bar staff. It's easily accessible just off the motorway and not too bad on the feet. Putting green and use of the net is welcomed prior to start but next year will spend 20 minutes on the practice ground before I start which is nearby. All in all a good day with two birdies one on a par three. Recommend this course.
My son and myself had a great day playing here today, although it was 28 degrees the course was in great condition and it was busy but we wasn't held up once.Looking forward to returning soon for another game for sure.⛳🏌️👍.
Absolute pleasure to play here today. From the welcome in the pro shop , to the outstanding golf course. There was nothing to fault at all. The course is outstanding and a tough challenge.

Great local activity. 18 holes. Unfortunately a few broken bits already but didn't affect golf play. Would still recommend.

Course is challenging but fair and we found it in excellent condition.
1hr 40mins for 9 holes on a fairly busy Sunday AM so fairly decent pace of play.

First time playing Castell Heights and it was great.
Lovely 9 holes of varying difficulty that will keep you interested.
Fairways and roughs were in good condition. The tees and greens could do with a bit of love bit they were absolutely fine for the price!

Outstanding customer service, beautiful setting, great food, Lovely venue to hold a party, staff couldn't do enough for you, would recommend to anyone.
If there is a better designed course in Cheshire, I haven't played it yet.
Played in the Senior open,wonderful reception,the course was in great condition,a good test of golf.I think this club is a must to play. Highly recommended for all golfers. Once again thank you to aĺl the people that made the day enjoyable.
I visited the golf shop to purchase a driver. I was asked by an ignorant member to remove my hat (to laughs of his ignorant friends)... FYI it's a turban... I've played at many prestigious clubs around the world and never experienced this kind of ignorance... it seems that anyone with a pound note and half a brain can become a member... AVOID at all costs....
Very well kept 9 hole golf course. Flat course so easy to get round.
Lovely golf course at this time of year. Had breakfast before we went out, very nice food. Would have given 5 stars but not once but twice on our rounds we were held up by the greenstaff either parking there buggies before the green on our approach shot. No amount of sorry was coming our way as they left, not good at all.
Stopped for coffee and lunch. Good food , reasonably priced, plenty of choice. Highly recommended.

Visited today for Mother’s Day with my Mum, sister and her husband.
Our table was great, sat by the huge windows overlooking an awesome view.
Food was incredible, table had starters of Pate, crab cakes and mushroom soup, whilst I didn’t have a starter I was told they were excellent, they did look it.
For main I had the Sea Bass and the rest of table had the Beef dinner.
For deserts the table had the Passionfruit Cheese cake and assorted ice cream, all fantastic.
Food was absolutely superb.
Staff were all very polite and friendly.
Such a great place to visit, would highly recommend a visit.

Course is not in a good enough condition to justify the price (£35 with county card). Temporary tees on every hole when tee boxes are in perfect condition, greens are covered in mud, fairways are hard to distinguish from rough, no marshalls even when busy on weekends so play is slow and pro shop & halfway hut shut at 3pm. Would avoid until at least April or until the course dries out properly
One of the few courses that were open, just after New Year. A little wet in areas but still very playable, and enjoyable.

ALL the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Great space to get out on the golf course without the pressures of usual golf courses and their members!
Unfortunately, looks like the course has gone downhill recently having played just last week. Grass growing in the bunkers, mushrooms on the fairways and pretty sure the roughs aren’t meant to be that rough either.. generally poorly maintained.
Great course and enjoyed the day. Will go back there. If the rough grass could be trimmed back about would be good ⛳
Been twice now to after funeral get togethers. Very pleasant and clean upper room, large and overlooking the golf course. Buffet on both occasions been varied and very adequate.
Attended a Golden Wedding party here. The room looked delightful. The food was excellent and service superb! Xx
I have brought a team to play in the Vets open for over 20years from Aylesbury. Each time we come we are amazed at the welcome and the condition of the course. I imagine the reason we are invited back each year is because we don’t threaten the prizes. Lovely club, lovely people looking forward to next year.
Course layout is very good. Unfortunately due to the hot weather course was very dry which is no fault of the golf club. Food by the 1st tee is quite expensive, £16 for 2 bacon's rolls and two coffees! Club house is quite small not too much in there. No electric trolleys for hire only standard two wheel ones. Will certainly still come back as enjoyed the track very much. Looking forward to playing when the green green grass is back.
Not the longest course, with some quirky holes, but it was in excellent condition, greens were true and medium paced. Overall very enjoyable, and an excellent meal to follow.

The course is splendid, the cafe has great choice and has a sort of wooden terrace, very pleasant to meet up afterwards, inside,the bar area is cosy and do a very nice Ale!
This is a super golf course from tee to green.
If one negative was no real amount of sand in the bunkers.
Club house out standing and staff helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful 9 hole course. Each hole very individual and challenging. Great views. Clubhouse and catering is of a very high standard. One of the biggest and well stocked Pro shops I have seen too.

A very forgiving 9 hole course, greens could do with a closer cut though, that a side it is really beautiful with great views. Played this morning, it just keeps getting better.

Course in fantastic condition for the time of year, lovely a quiet, greens were like ice which made it very challenging.
A stunning 18 hole downland golf course in Surrey with views over London. Built in 1929, the clubhouse was the first purpose built golf clubhouse in the country. Book a lesson with qualified pros and find out for yourself what Cuddington has to offer. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely delighted that Castell Heights Golf has re-opened! I'm very reassured by the solid social distancing measures that have been put in place and, evidently, the grounds keeping staff weren't furloughed as the greens and bunkers all look immaculate. Easily my favourite golf course.
Sandiway GC always in great condition. A true 12 month of the year golf course.

Went for Sunday lunch and it was very good. Not posh, not high end, but the food was homely and tasty and good quality, and the service was excellent.
The clubhouse windows overlook the last green and they have good beer on tap. Staff were very helpful. Prices are very reasonable, so I recommend it.

Despite being incredibly wet the course played fantastically. Greens were excellent. Course is on the short side as far as they go, but still a decent challenge by being quite tight.
Pro in the shop is very friendly and made us feel really welcome.

Free golf at a lovely club. Grounds were good with a few boggy areas, most of the bunkers had lakes in them, but overall really good considering the weather and conditions. Some long Par 4's and short Par 5's, but with nice scenic views and well kept grounds. Overall decent length course with nice greens, only most of the tees were temporary. Love the GUR.
Hardly anyone on the course due to the weather and conditions, so well done for staying open. Will hopefully be back in the Spring and Summer to enjoy it in it's full glory! Would recommend!

Great welcome by everyone at Llanishen when our ladies visited last week. Course in wonderful condition and so enjoyable to play. Staff very helpful and our bacon rolls before we went out and our meal when we came in were delicious and just the ticket. Definitely returning
A brilliant golf course. Sweeping layout, with excellent variety. It was very satisfying to play a round where you didn't know until you got to the next tee which direction the next hole headed. And every green is presented beautifully. Just a fantastic place.
Sublime golf course, fabulous staff, great bar, good beer. The only thing that was a let down was the execrable sausages and bland burger we had. It thus would have been fives stars. What a shame. I'll say it again the course was beautiful and so well looked after - better than Sunningdale. We will just go to the course next time and not eat though.
Very pleasant 9 hole course. If your a good driver you may find it quite straight forward. Presented myself with some challenging approach shots. Members very friendly. Defineately worth a visit.

Lovely course with amazing views. Not as long as some but very challenging, particularly in the dry conditions. Closing hole nice finish, that leads you into the very nice clubhouse. We all enjoyed the day. Only criticism was there seemed to be a lot of ground staff working on the course who didn't seem to have much consideration for the golfers, so a little distracting at times, although a minor point.
Excellent course is very good condition. Greens were fast and true. Mature parkland course, very hilly and all interesting challenging holes. Played it on a lovely sunny day and all of my group thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nice course to play. First 4 holes feels very tight, very close to each other and a bit strange lay out. Thereafter it widens and the course plays much better. Beautiful views over Cardiff and the see!

Was sadly there for a funeral wake, but the food was hot tasty and plentiful and the views over the golf course were stunning. Got a bit chilly on the patio, could have done with a few gas burners or blankets. Journey up there was interesting, single track and full of massive pot holes, be careful if you don't have a four wheel drive!
Lovely golf course. 9 holes, which mostly, has two tee positions. Greens are fabulous. One of the oldest courses in Cheshire, right alongside Tatton Park, and just outside Knutsford town centre. Lots of trees, and very picturesque. A fairly flat, parkland course. Clubhouse is lovely, and the food is delicious.
