The Renaissance Golf Course was in first class condition . Stunning views and faultless fairways .

It was one of the best golf courses I've ever played. Greens were great for time of year Bar, and drinks were well priced.

Went for lunch with a friend. Nice food and good selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. Friendly service.

A very relaxed place with good views.

I was given a voucher to use at the spa.

Just tried to book in, however I have been told that the voucher is out of date - despite there being no date on the voucher. I have a friend with a similar voucher and she has been told the same, otherwise I would have thought it was a one off.

The manager has in email eluded that my friend had 'drafted' the voucher so I have sent her a copy of mine - which will be interesting to see what they say.

I just feel sorry for my friends who took the time and money to buy our vouchers to now be accused of 'drafting vouchers'.

Poor show Fletcher's Spa, I have been a few times in the past and often contribute to friends vouchers for here - not anymore!

Not a thing could be faulted, our room was perfect, the surroundings idyllic, even our dog got his own welcome bag, bowl, towel and bed. We were driven to The Clubhouse for our meals, by Doug, the courtesy driver who was always friendly, informative and courteous. Would very highly recommend here 👌

Great little
Course nestled within a beautiful housing estate. Course is very tight. And there is a lot of angles that need to be considered due to lots of tee boxes crossing one another and fairways etc.
Course was in really good knick, however only ten holes were available to be played. The course was using temporary tee boxes and all players had to use mats and not play directly off the grass. I get they are looking after the course, but kind of defeats the idea of golf…
The course plays well, but watch out for bunkers as they are everywhere and really steep to get out of. Greens were very well maintained and lighting fast for this time of year.

Lovely course, challenge but good for high handicap too. Course in good condition in winter. Lots of variation. Nice club house ,food,coffee.Friendly members. Go play!

Absolutely fabulous! Marine Villa spotless throughout, quiet, comfortable, with fantastic open sea views and lovely walks & large enclosed grassy area ideal for dog to run around. On site transport a bonus. Dinner in Mansion House was delicious in lovely atmospheric environment & with superb service. Villa kitchen well equipped. All in all, a 2nd, most memorable & thoroughly relaxing stay at Archerfield. Thank you to all staff involved.

Played a round last week and quickly forgot how cold we were as the course was in great condition while challenging at the same time. Beautiful views capped off the end of the round for our amazing day. We rented clubs from the very helpful staff who were overall excellent and very friendly. Can't wait to go back

Recently joined as a member and couldn’t be happier. Lots of quirks but that’s what I love about the course. Always well kept and greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend coming down to play.

First time back playing The Glen in roughly 25 years and didn't disappoint.

Me and my 5 friends came up from london/Kent to play golf in East Lothian for a week.
We played the glen twice in a day and it was our favourite course of all 5 we played.
It was amazing.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we all loved it.
The deal to play 2 rounds in a day is superb and we will be back again for the same deal.
It's a no brainer.
Our afternoon round was into the wind on the back 9 so was nice to play it in different conditions from the sun we had In the morning.
The bar staff and pro shop were soo friendly.
This course Is 10/10

Booked afternoon tea with my family on 21 July in celebration of my retirement. The whole experience was fabulous. The food was superb. The service was superb. The environment was superb. And a special mention to Mark, Food & Beverage Manager (also superb) for a lovely welcome. Highly recommend, and can't wait to return.

Friend has recently joined and we organised a round! Lovely course really well kept with helpful and friendly pro in the shop and bar manager! We will definitely do another round soon!

Coombe Wood Golf has just hosted my 60th birthday party and I would highly recommend the venue. The response to our initial enquiry was prompt and efficient. We then met Diego, the Food and Beverage Manager, who was fantastic at helping us plan the event and accommodated all our requirements - which changed frequently! The food was delicious and very good value for money. The staff are friendly and know what they are doing and the party ran extremely smoothly. Many of our our guests commented on what a great venue it was and how good the food was. We would definitely use the club again. Thank you Coombe Wood!

I am in the golf course architecture and construction business. I took a tour here some time ago with a friend to see the Tom Doak course for my own inspirations. The director, coincidentally sharing my name, was extremely informative, directive, and hospitable for our visit. He did not make us feel like an outsider, despite not being a wealthy member or guest that brought business.

The course is a mix between heathland and coastal loamy vibe, with a minority of areas that feel like Africa? Super interesting layout that is supported by fantastically undulated and asymmetrical dune-line shaping, with more than half of the holes serving as good exemplars for creative and original design. There is an eclectic mix of bunker styles that make sense in both utility and penalty, rather than screaming indecisive theming preferences. I've played golf with the designer Tom before, so I hope he accepts this review if he sees it.

We had a cocktail at the bar after the walk, and upon realizing there were no ubers or taxis in the area, the bartender so kindly offered to ride us home!! Just wow.

Had an amazing day at the Scottish Open here at the Renaissance Club . What a beautiful setting on the Firth of Forth. Love the the way the buildings are so traditional.

This place is incredible ! Played an open day with my brother for only a tenner. And honestly some of the views on this course are unreal. This is definetly a must play and we played superb in tough condition in a pairs event which make things nicer too. Honestly visit this stunning 5 star course if you get a chance !

What a fantastic cliff top golf course in one of the most perfect settings. The course was superbly presented in wonderful condition. The views from all around the course are stunning,especially the 13th hole. From a high tee down to a green on the edge of a beach with view of Bass Rock out at sea. The pro staff and the bar staff were great. You will regret not visiting this course.

Amazing experiences and golf at TRC. They really know how to look after you. Golf, food, staff and atmosphere were all amazingly good. Thanks very much for a memorable 4 days. Will be back.

Beautiful venue for every kind of event. 10 mins walk from central Kingston. Feels like your in middle of countryside, great views from events room. Opens out onto balcony overlooking golf course.

Fantastic links course. Absolutely stunning seaside views from some of the holes. Exceptional service from staff at both club house and in the restaurant. Would recommend a local caddie for this course. Worth the price.

One of the best golf experiences in Scotland with accommodation that is unrivalled. Simply outstanding place that has to be seen to be appreciated.
