Rejoined the gym and had a thorough induction based on my specific needs. The instructor was polite friendly and professional. She answered all my questions and asked me at each stage of the induction activities how I was feeling. I thought that this was a nice touch.

Victoria Leisure has good facilities with a good range of classes. I came to a fantastic Zumba class on Saturday and got a high energy HIIT work out on Sunday by booking by phone on a PAYG basis. There's a small cafe area as well.
Ok for the money, with lots of benches and dumbells, but since the neighbouring club closed it gets very busy after work.
The boom box used for classes on the gym floor is way too loud for such a small space and means it's impossible to work out in peace, even if you have your own music and headphones, as you can still hear it.

The vibe in the gym is great and location is ideal. I appreciate the help Victor always offers ensuring I am doing the exercises with good form and all the insights he shares on training. He’s one of the most knowledgeable PTs I have met.
Its a one stop "shop" for keeping fit. Gyms, Swimming, Sauna & Steam Room. Keep fit /Swimming Classes for all ages with a great friendly staff and atmosphere. VERY clean work out areas and swimming pools..A coffee shop as well, to relax after a hard, or easy session.What's not to like?😍😍
Plenty fake 5 stars review. I absolutely agree with the 1 star rating comments about the low cleaning standards. As I went nearly 5 tiles per months I need to say that the staff is not motivated at all due to the low pay and HIGH turnover.. Like other comments say, there are better Man Spas in London.
After a few minutes I pay I had t leave so I asked for a refund. I ve been waiting since the 5th of October and I didn't receive any answer. It's just impossible to speak with anybody. I was told to wait a couple of days. I would also suggest to any other customer to visit The Covent Garden Man Spa, currently the cleanest sauna in London and they also have free cabins. The poor management and low cleaning standard of this venue made me stop spending my money there.

Visit the greenhouse sauna recently although the staff were welcoming and friendly it is very over priced and you still have to pay extra if you want more than 1 towel condoms and lube are also charged for. (Come on Greenhouse) I also stayed in one of the rooms at the greenhouse they were clean and comfortable but again over priced for your get also didn’t appreciate towel’s with stains. Be careful if you’re coming to greenhouse as the staff don’t mention the massive increase in prices for sauna and rooms
Dirty, facilities are often not working, lack of management and I got harassed MULTIPLE times by many older customers unexepectly touching me while I was only relaxing in the sauna. I didn't complain formally but I suggest them to put some signs to reminds customers that insisting touching people without consent is not allowed even in this venue but they didn't do anything.

The level of cleaning is objectively incomparable whit any other London sauna. Facility are very well maintained.
The sauna is small but again, it's clean and does its job. The steam room doesn't have mould (in any other sauna in London is just disgusting, when you are inside rise your head in any other steam room and good luck...), doesn't smell of urine and you can see they clean it regularly.

Definitely a quiet, nice spot. Dude at the front desk was fine. No attitude, just smiles and straightforward with everything. The place is really squeaky clean. These guys are huge on cleanliness: to be frank I’ve never seen anywhere cleaned this much, even with not too many customers, the place is really constantly being cleaned. You have guys with headlamps carrying cleaning supplies and wiping all surfaces including walls. Almost like disinfecting a crime scene. It’s quite assuring to know they’re so big on keeping the place safe and clean for all. They’ve also placed anti slip mats to address the concerns with slippery floors.
The pool water is crystal clear as well and the right temperature. Definitely a pleasant experience for me here on my first visit. It’s quaint, quiet and you do get to have some peace here. The staff members are generally friendly as well. They work really, really hard.

Visited today for a massage and acupuncture with Pam. She explained the procedure well and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I enjoyed the experience very much and will be going back for another treatment without doubt. All the staff are always friendly helpful and informative.
Been a number of times it can be a little quiet at times but never been an issue. It's always been clean The staff have always been friendly The facilities are good.
Like the place, for discreet gay couples I'd recommend it with their private spaces(doesn't come free with entry), however the closest to a "bed" there is their hard mats.

I had an incredible experience at Pleasuredrome! The atmosphere was serene and spotlessly clean. The staff were not only welcoming but also very knowledgeable about their services. I felt truly pampered and relaxed during my visit.

A pretty nice sauna, friendly staff, and the bartender stopped serving me when I was a little too tipsy, kudos for that. From the guard to the receptionist, everyone was friendly. I got unlucky because the jacuzzi was under maintenance but I was warned beforehand. Would definitely recommend!

so, I read mixed reviews, and i was there some years ago , and figured I'd go again. could read in recent reviews that they now want £20 plus £3 (newish extra charge of u want an hour of privacy) ,, I show up and it's £23 plus £5 (they don't tell u about the 5 unless you ask). I think it was the lack of visual/written info of what you're paying for that provoke me the most, he just said "have you been here before? £23"
if it's anything like how it was last time, which it seems from reading, it's not worth it- buy a month of grindrplus. risking not to have good chemistry with anyone and/or getting some multiresistant londonbug from a regular, where you have to stress about the time, for close to £30 ..!? it's among europes tiniest saunas with homeless people camping next to the entrance ..geez. I'd rather save up for a vacation and experience twice the fun for half the price

Went to she dazzle event. It was my first time. The event itself was good few TV etc. The receptionist was nice and kind explaining about that days event. Gave me my towel. The ground level was to dark could not see anything. Other then that all was nice.
Some very negative reviews here! Not sure why, I have had some very good times here with my partner. Staff are always super sweet and can't do enough for you.

Jacuzzi hasn’t worked properly in years, overpriced, becoming more like a nursing home, smell included. Steam room rarely works. Car park usually full but no one in the sauna? You now have to pay for protection on top of your overly priced £20 entry.

I'm surprised by some of the negative comments on here. I've visited twice (last summer) and expect to go again soon when in London. On my first visit the front desk guy was pleasant and helpful when I told him it was my first time there. My initial impression was very good and found everywhere looking clean. I certainly saw staff cleaning the floors regularly during both visits. The bar staff were efficient and friendly and it was a friendly crowd. I don't know about the private rooms upstairs but I wasn't intending to use one....there was plenty going on everywhere else!
Considering the cost of heating the place 24/7 (I imagine) I thought the entry price fair. I was, generally, favourably impressed and have no hesitation in going again.

Fantastic gym. This is a rare find. It packs a lot of machines and equipment, has fantastic classes which I am now hooked on and super trainers: Amber, Tariq, Victor, Arun, Rosemary, Joe,the list goes on. They will work you hard and motivate you. Everyone learns your name on day one and you feel like you are among friends and family. Come at lunch time - super classes though I hear mornings are pretty good too!
The gym might not have any fancy studios and be on the smaller side in comparison to many other City gyms but thanks to its size it has a more personal feel. All the classes take place on the main gym floor making use of the equipment and are less choreographed and much more dynamic that the standard gym classes. But it is the staff that make it what it is, Ben, Arun, Taariq and Rose are all phenomenal at what they do. They push you to your limits and beyond whilst making your workout fun. Each one of them is different in their approach but their enthusiasm, professionalism and sense of humour will keep you coming back for more.
The sense of community here is excellent! Met many people here all of which have been friendly and welcoming. 'Aunty' Pete is an asset to the team and will always go the extra mile for customers. The small environment gives it a homely feel and you'll be made welcome here.

Very impressed so far! Became a member only very recently (May 2023), but so impressed by the enthusiasm, positive welcoming attitude, helpfulness, and friendliness of the five staff members I met (four on day one, when I was considering joining and was given an unhurried tour, and a fifth one today). All, without exception, conveyed a priority to provide the best possible customer experience.
Gym has the complete standard equipment you'd expect, and although there isn't any spare floor space I didn't feel I was in a cramped environment when working out.
Standard and cleanliness of the showers, toilets, changing area, and sauna is all very good. (Comment relates only to my assessment of male areas, of course!).
Nice to see dumbbells replaced after use, and not left strewn across the floor (unlike a large and expensive previous gym, where I was a member).

Some staff are amazing (perhaps 4 members) and some are very unwelcoming and nasty, simply “odd” for a customer orientated 4-star hotel. It’s a pity as can spoil the experience overall. Thank goodness for great staff like Andy who saves the day!
Great exercise venue in Southport. Inside a building which was public baths in the Victorian era. Three swimming pools, weights and exercise machines, studios for classes, café area. Friendly staff. Reasonable membership fees. Kept nice and clean.

I actually prefer it on other days, when it is more relaxing, and you can just enjoy the facilities and chat to people.

Went there today Monday was steady good facility's and the guy on reception/ bar goes around and keeps the place clean and tidy he's also friendly and helpful. Go see for yourself I enjoyed it i will be returning

Too many rules, keeps confiscating my water bottle even though I need it for afterwards. Then on leaving when I asked for it back he said he had thrown it in the bin. Poor etiquette/judgement and very unlikely to return now because of this.
He was a bit rude and patronising as well about making people lose their towel 10 mins prior to the naked day at 9pm
- staff generally lack friendliness and personality, which is going to rub some customers up the wrong way. Also one guy at the bar, when I ordered a drink, didnt stop me when I said I'm going to get my wallet from my locker. I came back with it and he said you pay on exit. Why didn't he say that when I told him I'm going to get it. Again customer service skills lacking!

First timers here on g Saturday night just gone guy on reception and came home with blonde hair. Glasses was really really sound credit to your team. Facilities were good at a really good time. Lost some jewellery whilst in there in the hot tub guidebar was really helpful and went out to his car to get me a big flashlight. ( this guy was absolutely stunning totally my type I didn’t catch his name tho )Couldn’t find it anywhere and the lad from the bar came upstairs and had a look and we found it so I really appreciate the extra mile you guys went to

Has become too expensive over the years. Doesn't give option to have membership without spa facilities so it's £45 a month which is a shame. Will be changing gyms.

Firstly I can say the young blond lad who greeted me was very friendly. Unfortunately that's as good as it gets, the place has carpet in the majority of it, need I say more. While I was in there a guy was drunk however the guy behind the bar continued to serve him drink and charge it to his locker, when I was passing through the lockers the bar person was having a go at the guy for being drunk. When I was leaving the same individual was extremely rude for absolutely no reason, I don't know whether he has M.H. issues or was under the influence but his behaviour was inappropriate and how he spoke to me and other paying visitors was the same. It could have become confrontational only for me managing the situation. He was a well nourished guy, looking pretty unkempt in his 30's but looked older. If I was the owner I'd get rid of this guy as I won't be back and I'm sure other people won't be either as there are many options out there. For both of these reasons I feel the place only deserves 1 star.

very small but compact, very clean but older people are having it of in the jacusi and sauna not upstairs, i think this is a bit unhygenic but at there ages probaly they cant get up stairs, there was some pre historic humans there, play rooms upstairs all have lights in them, no dark areas at all, its ok but ive been to better
Had a swimming pool installed with Luxpool and their design was simply brilliant and they went above and beyond to ensure they delivered my dream pool. Couldn’t have lucked out more discovering such a considerate & efficient, budget friendly group.
I tried to get in yesterday on gay pride day, but the receptionist at the door was very rude to me.
It was the first time he went and the normal thing was to ask him questions about the place and instead of being polite with me, he was very disrespectful, very bad-mouthed and not friendly at all. If that's the behavior with customers, I don't think many people will come. Surely it is always empty, he also required me to retain my ID or bank card. I could not believe it. Very bad experience without having come to enter because of the rudeness of the receptionist. This sauna is not recommended at all and Of course I did not go in and I will never go back and I went to another sauna, where they were kind and I enjoyed it.

It is a lovely place, absolutely clean, nice design, it has all the needed facilities, a very pleasant fella at the reception. Strongly recommended :)
I visited the sauna last night. Straight away I was greeted by a nice young lad at reception who gave me my towel and locker key. The owner also greeted me in such a kind way. All the facilities were open and clean unlike other saunas I've been too. I would highly recommend coming down to this sauna. Great staff and a lovely atmosphere.
Visited Sunday and found it to be friendly enough. Is a small place but seemed decent and was relatively clean etc.

The sauna is small but has a bar where you can have a drink and relax a bit. The staff is very kind and friendly. At the entrance they gave me a wet towel, the area of the lockers is very narrow and smelled bad, the jacuzzi itself is not a jacuzzi, the part of the showers was the worst there are only two and if one is on the other does not have pressure, sometimes that area became clogged and a large pool of water was created and the entire floor was very dirty. In the time I was there I did not see anyone cleaning anything. Although the staff and the bar are very good, the sauna itself could be cleaned more often and more now with the issue of covid.

Great place to socialise with others. The beer garden is spaced out, Also the atmosphere is great for Gays,. Chris the host is such a nice guy , made me feel welcome on first arrival, all i can say its great =]

One of the best places to stay and eat , or just a coffee , in Scarborough , great location, looking over garden s and castle, it has changed over the last few years with new lounge/ bar furniture, but the new staff are excellent 👍- excellent afternoon tea
In 20 years I've not come across a friendlier, more welcoming club. I've been a member at a Pure Gym, JD Gyms, the DW over at Ocean Plaza and there's a reason this place is still going strong! The facilities at the Vic are excellent value. I like the privacy of all the individual training areas in this place and my other half loves the option of the ladies only gym downstairs. Pool facilities always well maintained and a great place to unwind after work. The new temperature check kit at the front reception area is a great extra touch to keep everyone safe. The front of house staff (especially Lisa!) always speak to you like you're part of the family and it's got a real community feel to it. Highly recommend!
Quirky venue , had some fun, a few more people to make up soms numbers would of been perfect but all the same was fun

I haven't been to this sauna for some years so it was nice to make a return visit.
Nothing much is changed and the layout is basically the same with the reception and changing area on the ground floor, first floor: with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi and on the top floor: various cubicles, porno video and g.h’s
The guy on duty was very friendly and helpful and keeps the place spotlessly clean. On my visit there were about 12 clients for most of the afternoon. As the place is fairly small, one didn’t feel lonely. If the full quota of lockers were used then the place would be packed and uncomfortable, although a few more people would have been welcome. The clientele are of mixed ages ranging from 30’s to 60’s and plenty was going on.
Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi is not working properly (difficult in finding spare parts), although the water is warm and circulating, so you can still have a rest there. The showers are also a bit haphazard as there appear to be some water pressure problems, so they would occasionally just dribble on you!
Since the closure of Splash on Liverpool this is now the only sauna within a 40 miles radius, so worth a visit if in the area, as long as you are not expecting a lot of fellow bathers. Although I understand that the T-girls day on a Saturday can get very busy.
