Very hit and miss whether you can swim if you are a faster swimmer, I’ve often not been able to swim because it’s so crowded and no lane control. If you swim faster than 2.00/100m its going to be a challenge to swim at all, so don’t rely on this pool if you’re training for something. if you’re fast you may not be able to use it in summer. Sometimes it would be ok totally unpredictable but in summer you can’t as it’s too busy and the lanes are at one pace. For casual swimmers it’s fine.

Good for kids, four water slides, a lazy river type thing and a few other little extra bits. It was very busy when I went, some of the lockers and changing facilities are a little bit worn and the place isn't completely clean but nothing horrendous. All the staff were really friendly, even on a Saturday when the place was rammed.
Swimming lessons are great BUT gives young children and parents a false sense of safety. The kids are not taught ISR skills which can be life saving...my wee one is completely use to having the arm bands which floats her body in a vertical way not possible to do it without them even when the water is very low if she falls she does know how to stand up! parentspreventingchildho…. Where can I get ISR lessons in Edinburgh, would the centre be able to offer this even if one to one lessons?
This is our new favourite pool and activity for a rainy Saturday or Sunday. The kids love it here, and the range of slides and little splash pool are perfect for small and big kids. The bigger slides are great fun for adults, too! The Costa is good for a post-swim drink, though it's a shame there's nowhere for a proper lunch.
The steam room felt dirty, small and there was barely any actual steam just hot air. It's more like a warm, damp, dark room than a steam room. Might just be the worst one I ever been to.
We were apprehensive about taking the kids, but it was impressive: smiling, helpful desk staff, a clean changing area, only a few dropped wristbands bands, the water was warm, and the slides and walkways looked like they were cleaned regularly. The kids (5 & 8) loved it. We will go again. Well done to The Triangle Leisure Centre pool team!
Dented the bottom of my car last night when getting in the parking due to a massive pothole. Manager and personnel are aware of it and have done nothing about it.
Busy little hotel, but a good bar and restaurant. Better than a Travelodge And around the same price. Rooms are big, although the decor is starting to show its age. Shower was unbelievably powerful and hot this morning.
We paid £28 for 2 adults & 2 children to swim for 1 hour during the family fun session.
The lifeguard opened the pool late as they were waiting for another lifeguard to come on pool side. The waterfall ring feature in the small pool wasn’t turned on, the bubbles in the seating area and on the round sitting area up to were also off. They’ve removed a water shoot feature which was there and not replaced it with anything. Half of the shallow pool was closed off due to swimming lessons. The changing rooms were so dirty, it was disgusting.
Overall, it was really bad value for money and I wouldn’t recommend.

The facilities are fantastic here, the pool is amazing and it’s got a great soft play area and rock climbing. However the staff at the check in desk are so rude, maybe they just didn’t like me but I asked if they sold inflatable balls and one of the ladies said very sternly: ‘we have whatever is on sale behind you.’ Then I asked another lady if I could book rock climbing and she said there’s nothing until 2pm. I said that’s fine but she added very rudely: ‘these things need to be booked in advance.’
I initially hesitated to join a gym due to the overwhelming atmosphere. However, upon signing up, I was fortunate to receive a complimentary personal training session with Andrea. His warm welcome instantly put me at ease. Without this session, I might not have continued with my gym membership. Working with Andrea has provided me with guidance, focus, and motivation for my fitness journey. He patiently introduced me to the gym equipment, addressing any questions no matter how small. I want to express my gratitude to Andrea at Everyone Active for boosting my self-confidence and assisting me in reaching my fitness objectives.
Really friendly helpful staff and the gym is very clean. The car park is limited and I suspect being used by people who work locally and aren't facility users because it's always full or nearly even when the place is quiet... except at weekends when you can park even when the place is busy.
The Urban Retreat Apartments provided a tranquil escape in the heart of the city. The modern design and thoughtful amenities created a comfortable space to unwind. The concierge was always ready with great suggestions for local eateries and attractions. The central location made exploring the city a breeze. It's the perfect balance of urban convenience and relaxation.
This is my 8 year old daughter's favourite place to go swimming, there are some great slides and an outdoor rapids section. It's very reasonably priced as well. My daughter also loves the climbing walls.

I spent a week in this hotel, I have no objections to the housekeeping. At the end of my stay, something happened to me that I can't explain. The hotel manager dragged me out of the shower, claiming that I had extended my stay. I showed my confirmation, I'm right, we checked the confirmation I signed after arrival, I'm right. However, the manager claims that someone changed it and shows my name and says that it was him who changed it. I tell the manager that these are my name and I haven't changed anything. Absolutely no apology from him for dragging me out of the shower, nothing, no reaction, the manager disappeared. I travel a lot due to work, but this was my first strange experience. Next time I will look for another accommodation. Never again.
Great fun splash pool with jets and sprinklers, 2 lazy rivers, 2 flumes and 2 simpler slides too. £1 for lockers. Great fun for all the family, we went with the grandparents who enjoyed the fun as well! Also an outdoor pool for those brave enough. Free parking too!
Very friendly and welcoming CrossFit box. Great to drop in for a few sessions, with superb coaching from Niall, Jenna and the team. Highly recommended. Many thanks - the highlight of my stay in Belfast!

To swim at Brockwell Lido you have to first register for a Fusion account - this means going on their buggy website, receiving confirmation email, receiving confirmation text, address, date of birth, mobile number, meanwhile the website will probably crash so you have to reset your password via email, then also download the app, then re-register again.. then maybe get lucky and manage to book a slot in advance, but good luck as they seem to get booked up quickly. It's a good idea having the booking system but Fusion's implementation of the system is frankly appalling.

Hi, me and my husband check in on Saturday, there was an old lady in reception who was completely rude and serious, who make us to feel that we are from another world, she asked for breakfast, we said we will decide later on, and then she asked for bank card details, idk what kind of hotel is this who took bank card details, although we already paid, we stayed there for 2 days, no Internet on TV, even though can't see anything on tv, just grey screen, no WiFi, room was okay, we call the receptionist guy thanks to him he came and fix the TV and said we have issue with Internet waooo like for 2 days seriously, next day we came early at 5 to hotel just to get dessert in our room but guess what receptionist said we don't have anything except sandwiches omg, and when I check out after 30mins they deduct money and when we called, we got news that we had breakfast which we didn't, that rude receptionist old lady add us in breakfast.
It is such a pathetic service and a bad hotel I have even seen in the UK. They don't even deserve any rating.

First trip to Taro in 35 years. Took our grand children to use the pool. Didn’t realise it was only for an hour. It’s a shame that’s areas were off limits, while other things were going on. Though the water was quite chilly it was a surprise that we had to get out as the children would have loved to stay in longer. Should have read the small print. I had happy memories with my sons at Taro 35 years ago. It’s a shame this time around I don’t get the same feeling. I won’t be back x
Some of these reviewers need to get a grip. I travel from Midhurst to use this gym as the weights room is far superior, it’s more spacious and not full of spotty teenagers on their phones hogging kit.

The swimming pool was cold so after our swim with a 4 year old and 18 month old we thought we would warm them up in a warm shower. No the showers were cold too.
The children’s pools were all closed and only one of them being used for swimming lessons so we had to take them in the main pool.
Everywhere is grubby and the guy that was in charge was sitting at the membership desk. We asked him for a refund and he said he was unable to do that as there were no managers there that day.

A living local legend, a lovely chilled and honest lido. No fancy gimmicks etc, there is a gym and other services on site too.

You get a 1 hour swimming slot which is ridiculous! So make sure you arrive on time and ready to get straight in! Especially if you have multiple children to get ready. If it's busy and you want to use the flume, you can easily spend 20 minutes in queue, then it's time to get out! Life guards blew whistle to get out 5 minutes early (clearly wanted they're boredom to end!). Then everyone gets out at same time and dashes to the showers and changing rooms. So again if it's busy, you can't get a cubicle! Ridiculous! Go to Horizon Havant, you can arrive when you want, and stay as long as you want!

Went to a private function disappointed that you had to pay for car parking but due to amount of people there they did allow free parking. Poor selection of gin mostly gordens flavoured gin. Service was pretty good staff were pleasant. Chairs in function room were a little shaky. Didn't stay so can't comment on rooms.
It's obscenely expensive if you only want to use the gym, like I do. And there is no option to only use the gym, you have include pool, sauna etc etc.

I would highly caution anyone to avoid using the gym. Several pieces of equipment are downright dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. There is mould in the water fountains and judging by the dust, most of the equipment has not been cleaned in a very long time. Avoid for your health.
Stayed 1 night at the heritage park Hotel and was very disappointed overall. The room was nice but no heating so room was cold. Warm water run out fast so the bath was cold

énergie fitness Glasgow has a good variety of equipment and clean facilities. The staff could be friendlier and more helpful. The location is very convenient for me . Overall, I would recommend énergie fitness Glasgow for its facilities, but keep in mind that the staff may not be as friendly and helpful as expected.
I do the fitness classes here all the time l. All instructors are kind, approachable. The only issue is they are not telling me when classes are cancelled other than that amazing venue. Great atmosphere
Poor hygiene, noone uses a towel to sit on in a sauna neither slippers and the staff are OK with that! No rules whatsoever which is shocking, facilities like showers, steam room are not being cleaned properly and some maybe never. I do like most classes and some staff are very friendly but some poolside staff are quite rude.

The temperature of the pool is perfect, although it feels on the cooler side the fact that the changing area after you get out doesn't feel any different to the pool area means it a win with the babies! For first time parents or for new little ones going swimming for the first time I definitely would recommend..
They have plenty of family spaces available to use for your babies and small tots.
The splash area gets tots and babies comfortable with water in general which is great for those littler nervous ones.
The rapids are full of fun games for everyone.
Slides are great fun, just know that some swimming costumes can help you go alot faster (even on the slow one)

The leisure pool offers outside rapids, inside rapids, two different tunnel slides, 4 straight down slides, a small little slide with a small dip at the top. Water spray things (don't know what to call them) Water fall you can go under and sit in.
A big Water play area that allows the children to have a bit of science with water pressure.
And I'm sure loads more... each time we've been we find something new to play with.
Definitely worth a visit, just relax and let the children play.

Beautiful any day, but especially in the summer sun! The lido itself is well maintained and beautiful, as is the sunbathing area. I would give the lido 5* except the women's changing room (poolside one) is always out of order these days, and now the showers in the gym changing room (which we are having to use instead) are 60% out of order so you have to queue while 4 of the 6 stand empty.
Love that there are changing rooms and showers around the perimeter of the pool, as well as a free to use steam and sauna room! Pool is 23m long (25 yards)

I come here to use the gym, its clean staff are really helpful and nice. Plus the gym is tidy and equipment is up to date. Pool is small, but there is a steam room and sauna ( sauna is on the small side ). Would highly recommend a gym and swim here 🙂. Also there is a little cafe at the front entrance via junction street.
Good local gym. Staff are really friendly. Not intimidating at all. Music selection is absolutely abysmal. Don’t forget headphones lol!!
Really nice facility but so expensive for a charity. Over £65 per month (not including joining fee) if you want gym and classes and no option to forgo pool cost. The gym is well equipped but small and closes at 5pm at the weekend. Pure gym at ocean terminal is £22 per month so it’s so hard to justify despite being my closest/preferred option.
Elite Crossfit space for dropping in, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely amazing space they have for open gym as well. Classes are great Teigan and Jenna were both really helpful in having me down!
This gym connects it's payments to a debt collector site, if you cancel your direct debit they try to charge you £40+. I would recommend everyone avoids

Great boxing gym with knowledgeable coaches. The gym has a very good atmosphere and is one of the most welcoming boxing gyms I've been to.
Aga, a Personal Trainer from Breeze Fitness is amazing at what she does. I went on a recommendation as I have a few health issues. Aga is so knowledgeable and really listens to what you tell her and watches everything very carefully to keep you safe whilst exercising. She pushes you within your own limits which is exactly what I need as I injure easily but still want to get fitter. Highly recommended

A great local gym that breaks the stereotype of what a typical gym user is like. This gyms user are all shapes, sizes, ages, religions and colours. No-one will feel out of place in this really friendly gym.
I'd like to give 5 stars, but as others have said, there needs to be some investment in equipment....but....this is after the lengthy covid gym shutdowns (where they automatically suspended payments).. So can understand that money will be tighter for the owners..

The Movement Loft is a great space unlike any other gym I've been in. David and Nick really know their stuff and approach health and fitness in a unique and interesting way.With a focus on movement, the guys are a great help to anyone recovering from or looking to avoid an injury. Highly recommended

This is the best gym I have ever been to. Adam, Nicola, James, and Sam are the best. The prices are extremely reasonable. I'm someone who hates working out, but I ALWAYS have fun here and leave smiling. So glad I found them.
such a beautiful space! the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and super warm and inviting. You can see they really care about their clients and it’s anything but your run of the (tread) mill gym! Would recommend to anyone who wants to move better. I’ve always had trouble with my hips and after a few months of training they feel so much healthier! Can’t wait to continue and see what progress I make!
Absolutely fantastic gym. Friendly professional experienced staff always on hand when needed. They adapt all to suit the new covid restrictions and I think the place just gets better and better. When I’m short on motivation they make themselves available and always stop for a wee chat. Which lifts my spirits I’ve been here nearly 4 years and that’s longer than any gym and I won’t be leaving. When the classes are on they are excellent.

I have been going here recently to improve my fitness. The place is well equipped and has a lovely atmosphere. The coaches are all very welcoming and I have been training personally with Calvin. I have learnt a lot more about my body and its movement than I ever have from anywhere else, as well being provided a good training programme and an enjoyable one. Would highly recommend.
Definitely the most useful personal training I've ever had. At nearly 36 I was fairly sure that my mobility was never going to improve. Signed up for one to ones with David, more in the hope that I would try and maintain what I had. After only 4 or 5 weeks I now have a range of movement in my hips that I haven't had since I was about 7. Has been incredibly helpful with gym work - technique for squats and dead lifts has never been better and also with taekwondo. They also seem to have clients in of all abilities - from people who are mastering the splits to people like me who were struggling to sit with crossed legs.
David, Cal and Nick are all very welcoming. They make you feel at ease when you are in the loft whilst also keen to share their knowledge with you. I train with David once weekly whilst also following a program online. David has got me really personalised the sessions and program to help me meet my goals. After just 10 sessions my body feels much better and understanding of how to use its functions to create real lasting permanent changes/ adaptions in order to be a better stronger version of myself. I highly recommend investing in this style of training and using the movement loft in order to do so. Back pain, hip pain, calf pain, any pain can be gone with this proper style of movement and training.

We have no hot water for a week now at the gym which is essential as well as having only two working showers for women in the whole gym for months now, a broken steamroom and hydro pool for a year and a half as well as a broken outside sauna for even longer. On top of that the pool is dirty and some of the running, cycling, the rowing machine and more are not working. Is been a joke and Fusion is taking advantage of the fact that people appreciated this local amenity. They are thieves really, false advertising all these amenities and basic facilities that don't work and don't exist.

On top of that the pool is dirty and some of the running, cycling, the rowing machine and more are not working. Is been a joke and Fusion is taking advantage of the fact that people appreciated this local amenity. They are thieves really, false advertising all these amenities and basic facilities that don't work and don't exist.
I’ve just finished the beginner 6 week course. Due to my driving job and a previous shoulder injury, I felt myself seizing up. The classes were fun, easy to follow and very effective. I feel a lot better and in such a short period of time.
David is a great instructor and was very friendly. The space is well equipped with a calming atmosphere. Great music playlists too!

I have just finished a 6 week beginner course with Nick and David and could not have enjoyed it more. The structure of the classes were brilliant, touching on so many different aspects in just the right amount of detail for beginners like myself. The atmosphere is lighthearted and while the classes are really beneficial it is also just a great place to go and train with like-minded and friendly people. I will definitely be signing up for more classes. Would highly recommend!
This place is amazing! Totally different than your usual gym. In-fact I'm not sure if the name 'gym' fits correctly. It's so much more than that, the two coaches Nick and David are excellent and know the score with everything strength and movement related. Nick is a handstand guru and can explain everything in great detail and fine tune even someone at an advanced level, David knows his stuff with strengthening your body through a rather interesting technique, I think called Kinstretch. This looks so simple but is so effective at injury prevention and improve your body as a whole. If you want to try something new or are bored doing your usual weights, give the guys a shout and get MOVIN! :-)
Top notch training facility, fantastic showering facilities and top of the range equipment. Coaches very friendly and professional and the members make this gym a very welcoming place! Barista coffee bar in front reception makes those early morning starts easier and have recently been impressed by the new hairdryers and straighteners provided in the changing rooms! all you need to go from gym to work effortlessly!
Been a member of CrossFit Belfast for almost a year and it’s a great place to train and develop, I was new to CrossFit and the coaches work extremely hard every day to make sure the members all make their fitness goals! An excellent place to work hard with great CrossFit equipment! Would recommend to a friend!
I don't do big gyms, big classes. This compact gym is fantastic, the PTs are exeptionally knowledgeable and friendly and will keep you right 👌💪

This gym has changed my approach to living and fitness. I cant thank Bernie enough for the drive and determination he shows me which makes me want to do better and be better to help the people close to me. Fitness is the key to most things. If your fit enough you can achieve whatever you want.

Great leisure pool. Can get busy but compared to Horsham the pool is warm, clean and has lots more to do. Nice slides for 4 year olds. 2 lazy rivers and a lovely splash zone. Pool and changing areas clean. Nice warm showers. Plenty of lockers.
