Lovely little place to eat with a very charming atmosphere and great views. Food was simple but very authentic and tasty. Well-priced with good portion sizes.
This place is amazing. You won’t get dinner views like this very many places in the world. The food was fantastic and the servers were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend as a splurge dinner when you find yourself in Santorini.
Go early or get a reservation so you can get a wonderful sunset view from the table. The staff was very kind and food was delicious (octopus salad was amazing). It was tucked away in a little side road near popular sunset viewing spots, glad we gave it a try.
I came here twice and tried two of their local specials, chicken in parchment paper with honey and walnuts, and oven baked lamb with potatoes. Chicken is pretty good with very unique flavor, and price is quite reasonable. The lamb is a too big of a chunk, as result it is not fully cooked to be soft and tender. The courtyard decoration is warm and cozy, the service is courterous but quite slow.
The food wasn't bad, but there was just SO MANY flies flying around your table and no personal did anything about it. That really ruined the whole experience.

So nice and wonderful place in Crete! Especially, Fried squids are really really delicious and my first squids in my life. And really kind and helpful.
If you're in town and want to do a breakfast or brunch in an awesome setting then this has to go on your list.

Best food we had in Thessaloniki, everything we ordered was delicious. We ended up trying around 5 different small dishes, which was really fun, and the food was reasonably priced. It is also a little hidden, which we found great, much less noise than on main streets.
A great choice for a romantic dinner due to it's location and ruins decor. It's an authentic place with nice serving. They have Pepsi, which is a rarety in this town. (almost everybody has Coca-Cola)
For my romanian fellows, they also have menus in romanian, and other languages too, it's a really nice touch and I only saw it here.
They offer you watermellow and a small booze on the house after you request the check.

Sehr gutes Essen zu einem angenehmen Preis. Das einzige Problem hier ist: die Griechen haben leider keinen Geschmack was Wein betrifft.

Best ‘Airport’ meal i’ve had. Complimentary Pita bread. Reasonable prices for airport food. would recommend.
The food was fantastic! Great value and portions, we had the Seafood Platter and it was fresh too. The staff were quite warm and welcoming. We had complimentary dessert wine as well to finish the perfect evening. The view on the water was astonish and it is a must visit. A++

Stunning views, and very friendly service. Everyone at the restaurant seemed to be American tourists - while the food was good, the atmosphere felt a bit too contrived and touristy for this to make the top of our list of places that we tried in Santorini.

I sat inside and I really recommend everyone who's coming here to do the same. It's beautiful outside, but it's even more beautiful inside! Such a beautiful building (one of my pictures is the explanation of the history of it). I asked for a recommendation from the waiter for a local dish and he recommended the slow cooked lamb - the best lamb I ate in my life! So soft and tasty! In the end, I was spoiled with watermelon and a small bottle of Raki. Loved it!
Excellent traditional Macedonian-thracian food. You need to dare and try the local delicacies such as pastourma on eggs, liver, siglino. It really reminded me of my grandmother's cooking!
We got four plates and each were so good! The flavors were tasty and the staff was calm and helpful. They were quick to get our order and again the food was amazing! Really recommend if you’re looking for authentic Greek flavors.

Lovely food from a good menu selection, which includes a number of dishes which make it different to many other places. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere
First of all, the location is exceptional, the restaurant is located in a former soap factory/winery dating back from cca 17th century, they kept the outer walls, windows and some of the inner structure, it makes for a very romantic atmosphere. The food is delicious, we had the sea food mix and it was HUGE, (they say its for 2 persons but 4 could easily enjoy it without getting hungry) a true feast for a decent price considering the great taste and freshness of the ingredients.
We had two meals here both were lovely.
Would definitely recommend the Goat in a clay pot for 2, more than enough for the biggest of appetites.
The second visit was for lunch, I had the Veal in tomato sauce which came with rice My Wife had the meatballs in tomato sauce which came with chips, we both enjoyed our meals.
We would definitely recommend Ela's for an authentic Greek experience.

Loved it. The food, the view, the waiter. Everything went perfect. The star dish for me was the octopus, it was delicious, a must try! Book ahead or you won’t get a table. You have to leave your credit card details but it’s fine and worth it, they won’t charge you anything.
I booked in advance hoping to ensure a prime table for our sunset dinner. The restaurant came through with flying colors providing the best table in the restaurant. The sunset view was spectacular. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We tried 1/2 litre of the house red and white. (Both were good, but I preferred the red with our dinner) The service was prompt and attentive. Elinikon was busy during the sunset dinner (7:00-8:30) and post-sunset 8:30-10:00.

This was the BEST seafood pasta and grilled calamari I’ve ever had. I was mind blown. Would 100% recommend this place - they don’t take reservations but we showed up around 7:30pm and got a table no problem.
We have been seated on our arrival very fast without any reservation. We have ordered octopus, kalamari, traditional salad and french fries. We left very disappointed firstly because we have served at the beginning the salad and took at least 40minutes for the rest of thw food to arrive. Portions were small for the price we paid. Octopus 🐙 prawns 🍤 and kalamari 🦑 was over cooked.
We chose to eat here because they had specific vegan options on the menu, and also the setting was quite beautiful.

Went during August that most of the other restaurants were closed. People were very friendly and the food that we ordered was truly freshly made. Excellent combinations of flavours. It was a mixture of traditional recipes with a modern approach. Will visit it again for sure
Jordan was an amazing server. Our food was delicious. The hummus, chicken and baklava were the best we have ever had. We had amazing terrace seating and had amazing views of the sunset. Definitely recommend!!
Sehr schöne, kreativ gestaltete Taverne, die bunten Stühle fallen schon von weitem auf, zentral in einer Seitengasse gelegen. Sehr freundlicher Wirt, Speisekarte mehrsprachig. Das Essen war so lecker, daß leider kein Foto, außer vom griechischen Salat entstanden ist. Die Calmari, das Tsaziki und das Mousakka haben leider kein Foto mehr bekommen, weil es so schnell leer war. Schöne Hintergrundmusik, es macht Freude hier zu sitzen.

However, the one staff has a mood! He asked for tip when we paid by card. This is unpleasant. If you don't give tip, he won't smile and ignore when you leave. Also unhappy to serve. Always so grumpy, better stay away from customer service. Only a staff is always kind and smiling to customers. Then we add cash tip later, all changes. A bottle of water is served upon arrival, that cost 1.50 eu. I do not appreciate things served without ordering and cost money. It makes us feel being fooled. I hope to be served by the smiling staff so i can dine w/o stress.

The food was amazing and the views stunning! We wished we had returned here for our second dinner instead of making the long walk to a much pricier restaurant that was not as good. The octopus was the most tender and delicious I had in Greece. We look forward to returning!
Amazing restaurant with the best service and a lovely view. The staff sat us with no reservation on a very busy night. It was one of the best Greek meals we had during our trip, with very reasonable prices for Oia. They even gave us free shots at the end of the meal!
Lovely looking restaurant just by the Old Port in Mykonos. The food was a bit hit and miss though. We had the shrimp linguine which didn’t taste very fresh and also the risotto. The service was good though
Best food and service we had in Mykonos. It was recommended to us and we thought we’d give it a try! Happy we did! If you’re looking for authentic fresh seafood this is the place! We got to pick out our fish right out of the icebox with Fotini’s help who was great! Even got a complementary desert, Mykonian yogurt with cherry compote! Amazing! Don’t hesitate to go here and get the shrimp saganaki! And the view is not bad either 🤩
We came to Archontoula only because some locals recommended, however we were sceptic due to the low rate. As soon we received the food we understood that the reason is the actual quality of the food of a scarce satisfaction. The atmosphere is scenic but go there for nothing more than that.
Everything was great! The waiters are super friendly, the Souvla is so tender (a must try!) and the atmosphere is perfectly laid back
I got the Seafood Linguine and it was soooo delicious. The mussels were so fresh, and probably the best ones I’ve had while in Europe. The service was also excellent, an Aussie guy (who I think was the owner) invited us inside and gave us free shots, he made us feel like family the whole time. If you are visiting the island, you should definitely give this place a visit.
We came here for our anniversary week dinner with our 13 year old son. They sat us on the left edge with a great view of the caldera. For appetizers we had Ambrosia Tarts and they were the best. I had sea bass as their fish of the day and it was delicious and well prepared. My wife got the seafood pasta and my son got the steak and they bot loved it. I gave extra tip to our waiter for such a fun date. Dessert included Vinsanto wine on the house 😎😎😎
Delicious food in a typical Greek tavern. I would recommended to taste the dolmadakia and the zucchini balls, they were excellent.
Delicious food and amazing service, in a gorgeous setting. We had the fried snails, avacado salad, lamb from the oven, garlic bread and raki with honey. Would definitely come back!

For an airport food spot, this place gets a five star review.... I could be way off, if I were a local this place may suck, but coming from the states, wow! The salad was top! The omelet was fresh! The Greek breakfast pastry item was unique... Worth a bite!

A very good and authentic place to eat as a tourist and as a local. everyone was enjoying their dinner. Archontoula and her family that is working there is giving you the best vibes! See says to try kritamokeftedes and yes it is a must, but some plates were complicated in taste! But probably the best place to eat !
This place is like a hidden treasure. Cosy, quiet, calm place with a little greek background music in the middle of the buzzling old-town. Even in the hottest daytime, the garden/street side is shaded by high walls and leafes of tall grape like plants.
The meals were really good, the portions acceptable and the price reasonable. Some of the waiters seemed to be a bit unpatient (stressed?) but did their job. We also got some raki and a tiny piece of dessert as a gift. We liked it!

It's very good restaurant have amazing food you don't know what to choose first to eat. The food it's unbelievable fresh and delicious. Price it's very good personal there are very friendly and hospitality. It's the best restaurant in Chania if someone come here first must try here the food after you will be costumer every day. Well done ✔ 👍 👌. I recommend it I feel grateful thank you sooo much for your hospitality.
Beautiful setting for a meal, and the host was very nice. We got the sample plate as a starter, and it was not our favorite but it was okay. The salad, boureki, and moussaka were delicious though.
We went there in the afternoon when not that many people were seated but I cannot complain about the atmosphere. The service was good, the food very tasty. The location is great! Would definitely visit again
The food was pretty good, I don't have any issues with the food. However, the service was horrible. The server took our order, the food came and we were almost finished the meal before the server came by, we asked for the drinks we'd ordered, and he said his colleague was to bring the drinks, which eventually arrived. When it came time to pay, we asked one server where to pay, and she spoke to our server. 5 minutes go by, 10 minutes, 15 min. Finally I went with the bill to the counter and the rude dude yelled at me to pay my server... which I replied we've been waiting for our server for 15 minutes! There are other places to eat in the airport, I'd recommend going to those instead.
Fantastic food! We had the lamb, cabbage rolls, zucchini balls and tzaziki. The lamb was divine! Even the potatoes that came with it was delicious, and I'm not a potato fan. Cabbage rolls were light and refreshing. Zucchini balls were average. We ate all our food! Definitely a place to eat when you're in Milos!!!
Terrific authentic restaurant. We started with the fried calamari and had the lamb and potatoes and the pastitchio. Both were terrific and arguably one of the best meals we had in our trip. Service was wonderful, they ended our dinner with a courtesy glass of their mastiha liquor.
This place was delicious with incredible views. The service was so friendly and the food was very flavorful. I had the lamb/pork kebab and my wife had the chicken souvlaki. Both were outstanding! Highly recommend!!!
Fantastic service from very experienced wait staff (special mentions to our Australian-Greek friend Nicholas and Fontini whose service were impeccable). They are very attentive to those with food allergies, going above and beyond to make it a safe experience with great substitute options. Aperitifs throughout the meal were special and very appreciated.

Update: we went back again the next night for dessert and the service was even worse. And this was a fairly quiet time when they weren't busy at all. Had to repeatedly ask for menu before we could even order. Service is definitely their weakest point here.

They're all nice enough but maybe just super busy and thus not as attentive to your table as you'd like...for instance had to ask for the check repeatedly at the end etc. The start of the night was their galaktoboureko desert...literally one of the best deserts I've ever had, period. It's unbelievable how good it is that we've already vowed to return and get it before we leave Milos! P.s. at night for dinner, you get the surprise bonus of nice live music from next door spilling over and adding to the ambiance. We enjoyed that.

We stopped here for the moussaka which was excellent. The service was very good. The kleftiko and lamb souvla was a little under seasoned for our taste. But it’s a very cute place, excellent service and overall good food.

The good: The food that we had was absolutely delicious. We started with the beef tartare which is one of the best we’ve had anywhere. The steak was also fantastic (when properly cooked) with a delicious truffle sauce and potatoes au dauphin.
The bad: I had ordered a medium-rare steak, but it came medium-well+. When I mentioned this to the server, he asked me to cut into the middle of the steak to “prove” it to him. Once is was even more evident that the steak was over cooked, he took it away and replaced it. However, he came back to our table several times afterwards to say that it was the lightning and that he kept the first steak for me to come see it in the kitchen. Maybe one of the poorest customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

The food was so good. Casual atmosphere. We went back here twice to try so many delicious items on their menu. The sunset view from the rooftop level was amazing. The staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
My husband loved this place which is why I give it 4 stars and not 3. I wasn’t as impressed and thought it was overpriced for the quality. We ordered duck (which is one of our favorite meats) but it was a little overcooked along with the steak. The views were pretty but keep in mind you can’t see sunset from here which when I originally booked I thought maybe you could. The service was good though. If you eat here you must get the sorbet for dessert! It was the best I had ever had.

Outstanding Greek food, I recommend order lots of small plates so you can taste it all
At the outskirts of the little village of Marathon it offers great tastes and generous portions. The service was quick but at the time we visited there wasn't many customers to attend to. I would suggest the titular souvlaki in pork which will feed easily two and maybe three people. The fries need a little refinement as to how oily they are but they are crispy. The panacotta at the end is a nice touch.

Food was ok. I did quite like their appetizer of the local island cheese with cereal crust.
The Mykonos sausage was overcooked and dry. Main courses we had were lamb and
Fried cod. Again, ok but potatoes were cold.

We had a great meal here and were recommended this place by our hotel. We had the salad and appetizer recommended by the waiter and they were both amazing! The salad was very fresh with an interesting flavor, and I’m already craving more of the fried app! So good.
The place is great (architecture of the building) but... service and what you expect as food and quality is really a huge disappointment. Or maybe I was expecting too much! You don't feel "welcome"! You just feel that they do what is supposed to suit and consider you as a "stupid tourist"... which I hate if I have to say sincerely!!!! And to that, I am sorry: no way!!! You have a wonderful place, just make the magical thing happens! I will not advice this place to friends and will not go back there for sure 😔!!!! Make a huge effort and not a " hypocrite" one! Is that so difficult!?!
Service lady is efficient and attentive. Food leaves much to be desired. Chicken looked like it was cooked sometime ago. There are electric sockets where you could charge your phone. Next time walk on there are nicer restaurants that we passed afterwards!!

This place is fantastic! The food is terrific, the people are super friendly, and it’s a beautiful restaurant. The tzatziki is very fresh and bright, the chicken souvlaki for 2 was delicious and served on a vertical skewer stand! The ending of a sweet pot of goodness and a perfect Cretian liquor - was absolutely perfect. Thank you. Make a trip out to this place - it will be worth it 🙏👍
Amazing traditional Greek food! We had tzatziki, Pastitsio and assorted meat skewers, all of which were amazing! There was live music while we dined and our servers were lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant!! Would have taken photos but we got to excited to eat the delicious food.

Just went for a drive up from Athens and found the place via these reviews. I’ve avoided eating stakes in Greece because of how well they cook it. Is asked for medium rare and it didn’t disappoint. We’ll be back
This place is hit or miss, depending on the chef. Servers are really courteous and attentive. I liked that there’s a group of local guys always chatting in the corner. The view is really nice in the morning.
First time, the eggs Benedict were cooked just right and you need to add the prosciutto or something. The second time the eggs were overcooked. So figure out if you want to take a chance, but 20 euros for the eggs Benedict and a late is not worth it for me.

Excellent taverna. Visited twice and many different dishes, each of them with some special twist and very tasty. Many thanks to the super friendly and kind waiter Nikos! Following his recommendations paved the way to a culinary treat.
The Greek salad was great and the chicken gyros was ok although a bit on the small side. There are sockets in case you want to recharge. Service is friendly and polite.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the service at Ergon. My dish (scrambled eggs on sourdough bread with salmon and avocado) was delicious and freshly made. The waiter was very helpful and happy to make suggestions. The coffee was good and they had dairy alternatives. Airport prices but within reason.
We were completely drawn into the romanticism and buzz of this lovely plaka restaurant! The food is authentic, yummy, and the owner was a treat to learn from! I had the most amazing herbal tea sourced from her hometown, and our dishes were flavorful to say the least!

Nice little Greek tavern in the heart of Heraklion old town, with a lot of other restaurants nearby. Somehow it seemed pleasant enough for us to want to sit and have a lunch there.
The service was attentive and effective. The food and wine were good, even though portion sizes were rather small. Prices were reasonable for the location.

The food was nice, however we waited almost two hours to get it and the portions were somewhat small for the size. If the place was packed or there would have been communication about this, it would have been one thing but there was no indication and we even saw people next to us leave due to the long waiting time.
Found the place by accident, however it exceeded out expections in every aspect.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy, the food was delicious (even our picky eater friend enjoyed the food), the staff was very kind :)
The portions of the plates are huge so I'd recommend sharing.

Best food we had in Milos! Order the mare mare pasta dish and the country pork. Their Greek salad is something special too! Greta service and lovely atmosphere for a lunch or dinner.

Thank you for this amazing lunch and lovely hospitality 🤍😌 We had Lekka’s chicken souvlaki as a main dish to share, a Greek salad, and cheese croquettes 🤤 They also offered us a caramel panna cotta as a dessert along with a shot of liqueur 🥰
Definitely recommended restaurant. The scale was great, the service was warm, and the most memorable was the dessert and the homemade rose wine, which I had never encountered in Greece! Will definitely go again!
We randomly made a stop here when trying to choose dinner and it was the best decision we made. It didn’t look very busy but this place is a hidden gem. The food was amazing, the desert was also amazing. We ordered the roasted chicken, the lamb ribs, and kleftiko lamb. The lamb ribs were the best, and so so so delicious. The dessert was banofee. It was so good that we ordered a second, right after finishing. Highly recommend this place! The owner and staff were also very lovely. Not a tourist trap like some other spots in the area and very underrated !!! Visit this place. !!

We had spaghetti with sea food, sardines with fresh potatoes, mix grilled with meat(without lamb).

Day 1, the food is great. However, Day 2 we ordered 1kg of steak (beef), the quality is not good and cutting too thin and over cooked. All meat juice is gone and we do think we are eating tree skin ... haha. Sorry I forgotten to take pictures of the steak because it’s really below standard.

Excellent food quality. Poor food quantity in some dishes (for example, they serve half cheese in the 12€ grilled vegetables dish or 5 shrimps for 2 persons instead of 6 in the 15€ dish). I wouldn't consider it touristic food but the prices are expensive.
