A very beautiful place on the waterfront in Herzliya, good quality food, a vacation atmosphere
If I could give it a -10 I would we sat and waited over 40 min and not a single waitor came and even asked if we wanted a drink… every one passed by our table over and over and none even came to us I tried to call a waitor felt ignored we continue to wait and see if anyone would come and no one ever did only when we stood a girl came and asked if we ate ! Almost as a joke when we have an empty table and she clearly sat us down and no one came to take our order . Worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant

And we will never come back again!

A truly very small scoop of salmon and a bunch of chopped up veggies with rice for NIS 64 is really expensive. Service was meh and no nice place to seat at. Won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend
We ordered take out and did not have a good experience. The fish did not taste fresh at all and in the end we threw away everything we ordered. When I called the restaurant to inform them (politely), the manager was very defensive and insisted that the fish was ordered that same morning. While this may be true, it still had a very strange taste and we did not feel comfortable eating it. I had to argue with the manager just to get a partial refund, which she gave us on the premise that the order arrived late (which after checking with the delivery service we were told it actually arrived early). The customer service was very poor in my opinion.

This Asian-Japanese restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. The interior design is stunning, creating an inviting atmosphere that immediately captivates you. As for the food, it's an absolute delight; every dish we sampled was a culinary success. I must particularly recommend the Tuna Yoku dish—it's exceptional. However, it's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side.

The greediest place I have seen in a while. Charging 46 shekels for lettuce and cabbage salad and asking for 5 (!!) more just for a little bit of extra dressing. Also, the owner was very rude to the employees to the point where I felt uncomfortable.
We sat at the bar. Great service. We had the the nums which were very flavorful and great, the beef bun which was also great.

Each roll is perfect, fresh fish, nice atmosphere. The inside is too loud for dinner in my opinion but the outside has dimm lights

Nice place rather empty and nice waiters. Once we got the food realized why it’s empty. Lame sushi and sad poki bowl. It’s super expensive and you mainly get rice and probably very very little fish which is what you really pay for. When we told the waitress she said that’s how it comes. We won’t be back.
From the moment we entered, we knew it was going to be a good experience. The ambiance is enhanced by the DJ, decor, and design. The cocktails and sake were above average. This day happened to be a tapas style night, which meant we tried many of their appetizers, sashimi, rolls, and appetizers. This is an upscale place and it’s kid friendly.
The supervisor was nasty to one of the customers who had mix-up with their order. Then he turned on me and on his servers. Stressful place.
An ok restaurant. Very big portions, all dishes were fine. They gave us a surprise discount on the bill which was nice. Free parking for up to 2 hours at the parking lot.
The food is a little overpriced: $22 for a 9 piece salmon roll, tasty but not unusual.

The food didn’t arrive in the right order we had the main course for some of us and the starter for the others. We had to wait 45 minutes to get the rest of the food. I never got my main course. We had to take off the dishes by ourself because the the waitress didn’t get to us for 45 minutes. She didn’t serve us water after three time we asked.

Decent but pricy sushi, stuff is not always so friendly, depends on the day. Strict about not letting you in with juice bought across the street at the legendary Tamara stand. Overall not a nice experience.
Found a fish bone in a sushi, which has never happened in my life. Soy sauce was brought only after a request, the waiters were polite and offered compensation, but it's hard to get their attention and you wait for really long time. Sushi rolls fall apart, rice is not sticky. In general, I didn't really like it

Nice and cozy place with clean seating. Fresh cold tap water and colorful dishes. We ordered the lunch menu 12h - 16h that gives you appetizers for 5 NIS - a nice addition! The food was good and not expensive. Recommended for lunch but when it's busy don't expect to get your bill fast.
What a nightmare! Disorganized staff! We were the only table in the restaurant when ordered, took them 1 hour and 20 minutes to prepare our order because of busy Wolt orders. Not coming back here!
A friend recommended TYO, praising its service and atmosphere, and she was spot-on. We ordered some unique dishes that caught our eye based on the ingredients, including the tuna pizza and crunchy tuna rolls, both of which were excellent. Our server took great care of us and ensured the flow of our dinner was smooth. She even offered us shots of our choice, a nice touch to our bar experience. Overall, I would recommend TYO for dinner based on its great atmosphere and food options. However, it's important to note that the menu is quite expensive, so it's advisable to choose wisely or be prepared for premium prices.

Such a vast variety of choices from the menu. The place is very clean and very nice serving dishes. The fish is very fresh and the butter, ginger with sesame oil sauce was delicious. The sushi were perfect.

The place is nice. Good atmosphere, pleased background music. But all other aspects not good enough . The food not tasty at all. Feeling that is no salt in any dish. We order one first and 2 main dishes. The second main dish was served only after we finished first and one of the mains.

This is an amazing place to come for a quick lunch. They have so many sushi options! Their mochi ice cream is also delicious and they have tons of options! The sushi is always delicious and they have great combinations and reasonable prices. Definitely check this place out!
Not bad. Tasty dishes, good cocktails. But waiters at the end made a mess with our bills (we were with friends and asked to split our bills). But in general was nice.

The restaurant is inside the hotel. Beautiful place and decor. We tried some dishes since we had a show to go to near by at the Beit Lesson theater which is about 6 minutes away. Had some fish dishes papaya salad and Susi. Wasn’t bad nor anything special about it also didn’t like the dominant spices and mayo. I will return for the atmosphere and great vibe of the place. And the drinks.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tel Aviv, the place has such a fun vibe and is by far the BEST quality sushi restaurant in Israel!! The fish is always so fresh, all the starters & rolls are incredible, and the dessert is just divine! The staff/service is just as wonderful as the food (a rare find in Israel)
Had a great experience. Iddo’s service was excellent and his advice on wine, food and desserts spot on. Japanese chefs deserve a special commendation. The sea bass was memorable as well as the sushi combination. Desserts were delicious. Overall, a memorable night.

Lest start with the good parts the miso soup was delicious this was the first place I've been that it actually tasted like the miso soup that I know and love. The rolls were really good. The seaweed salad and the spring rolls were flavorful and we finished the plates very quickly. They did have a vegetarian combo. That was really good. I had to return the pad thy because it was too spicy for me and with no flavor.
They had 2 types of soup and non of them was vegetarian or vegan they didn't have tea or even the ability to bring hot water. And the staff said that the only way to get hot water was to do it in a pan/pot on the stove....(if your client wants hot water you should find a way to give to her it's not that hard) the place was kinda small and not good or bad vibes. She did put the outside hit for us which was nice. To go to the bathroom you needed to go all around the building and it was dirty/smelly and no toilet paper even after we told them. The crispy squid tentacles was nice, they used actual Japanese mayonnaise instead of the Western version.
The black udon with shrimp was basically a really lightly sauced pasta. Definitely not udon but I liked the quail egg in it.
Kaisen cocktail gunkan was really nice, probably my favorite in this meal.
The fatty salmon hosomaki was really bad... I think the pickle was expired, it tasted old.

Location is great, by the marina, slight breeze, magic hour. Food is great but pricy. Burger was very good, sushi was divine. Servers are friendly and ready to help. Free parking. Patrons are aloud to smoke outside, big turn off.

Pleasantly surprised! We were in the area and quite hungry, came with no expectations and were really surprised. Food was delicious, lots of Vegetarian and Vegan options, good service by friendly staff (very rare these days!) and very affordable lunch menus. We'll definitely visit again.

Last time I visited Israel I had a great experience before Covid. This time both me and my friends were disappointed. The food wasn't fresh and had a weird taste. The salmon sushi was of poor quality. Also, the manager was very rude. The only good thing to say is that their prices are reasonable, but I prefer to pay more for a good quality dinner..not worth it. We went to another place to have a second dinner.

I just love Japanese food, and when I was in Israel recently, I thought I'd see if they make sushi as good as I'm used to it here in Melbourne. Let me tell you, it was great. Beautiful and fresh and a great variety of all things sushi. I had salmon and tuna rolls (though some were triangular "rolls"). Everything was so good and the staff were friendly and the restaurant clean and in a great spot along the waterfront.
I'd totally recommend it here if you're in the port of Tel Aviv. It's delish.

It's more of a 3.5 stars based on a single visit in a group of three... The dishes were very decent. Benitoro, inari, and macha brulee in particular are highly recommended. The service was quite good overall with only a little touch of arrogance. The green tea could have been much better, but it was nice to get a hot water refill. It's also nice that it's open during lunch time. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was disappointing - the all black design with dark light in that area didn't help the feeling either. The menu is somewhat overpriced in my view.
Despite the factory skill and clear organization, the old horse does not spoil the furrow.

Relentlessly adding new features to the menu. There is no soul inside, and that's okay! we'll pick it up elsewhere.

But the staff is amazing! And this is by far the very best Japanese inspired / sushi food I’ve found in Israel.
Fresh fresh fresh fish and seafood, great flavors, excellent plating and presentation. The staff really takes pride in their wonderful dishes.
I particularly recommend the crispy rice dish with the tuna and any of their rolls. The namesake Nammos salad is a great starter too.

Poke bowl is very fresh, great selection of ingredients. Prices are high, but worth it. They also sell a variety of hard to find imports. Good place to finish the months 10bis credit.

I ate at the place a couple of times, there was always fresh and tasty food.

A lovely spot for a special meal. Watch the sunset and the marina from the balcony and enjoy excellent food and outstanding service. I would definitely recommend the Shrimp Cesar salad. It's better to book ahead because the place is very popular. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality of the cuisine and location.
I've stopped for a quick lunch. Had a wakame salad, an Okinawa Dream roll, with crab meat, and a Sake Uzo. The salad was ok. The sushi was far less exciting than I expected, and I think I've got a smoked eel filling, instead of the crab meat I've paid for. The drink was nice. Service was poor. It took between 7 and 10 min for a waitress to ask me whether I would like to order. There were 2 tables besides mine, and at least 2 waitresses on shift. Sushi preparation took a while. All and all, I had an ok meal, with poor service, for about 140 nis. They're getting a third star just for the great music that I've enjoyed the most.
first of all, the staff was super sweet & friendly. the store (including the exterior) looked like i was really in japan, which is obviously a dream. 4 stars because not only it’s kinda pricey, but for some items you don’t really know what you’re paying for (could be just my ignorance, but kinda makes sense since it’s foreign and new in israel) it would be better if they were in more detail, but if you asked the staff they would be happy to help & explain everything to you, so worry less :)
A sushi dream in the heart of a bustling street with cafes and bars galore... Yan Sushi is a dream come true... the rolls are unbelievable... avocado so fresh.. they take sushi seriously. As an American it is hard to find sushi places that have white fish like yellowtail but Yan did it. Every roll was immaculate. I could subsist alone on the salmon tartare appetizer for rest of my life... it was addicting to eat. The wine selection is okay and no cocktails if I remember correctly but a bottle of their sauvignon blac pairs excellent with the sushi. Though the establishment is small, it is the perfect date night or girls night out place to start your evening.. the location is near all the bars on Dizengoff... Yan sushi is totally worth the hype.
This is the latest branch off the Japanese restaurant chain in Tel Aviv (which has two branches - in Bograshov and Pinsker. The design is very modern and hip and there’s also an area outside you can sit in. Thesushi is amazing like in the other branches.also if you’re there be sure to try the Malabi dessert which is really special. Overall highly recommended!

It's difficult for me to review this place. On the one hand, the sushi was good. I was satisfied with the size of the rolls and the fact that they weren't cheap with the fish and the avocado. They have some interesting things on the menu: I would recommend the truffle items. The one reason that this isn't a 4 or 5 Stars for me: it's super expensive. It's a place designed for sitting, eating, and then leaving. I wouldn't come here for a nice evening and dining experience. The atmosphere is so so. There are no cocktails or fancy things. Yet at 44 ILS per sushi roll, I would expect a different fair and much more "wow" on the food...
We sat down and ordered sushi from here my kids were still hungry so we asked to order additional sushi at 9:20pm and although the restaurant closes at 10:00 pm and was told they were closed. The excuse that was given was they were busy with delivery. Very disappointing and ruined a nice evening out as my kids left hungry. :-(

Good sushi menu with lots of variety. Service was a bit slow with the waiters today during the dinner rush but our food didn't take long once we ordered.
