A typical day during a holiday, the restaurant wasn't busy, and yet the service was not as expected with attension to us as customers.
The food wasn't that tasety "benoni" and "tafel" unfortunately.

Nice food but the staff…it seemed like they were making me a favour to be honest. Probably they woke up in a bad mood. Like I said, the food was good but I won’t come back here definitely :)

Located at the second floor of the teder.
Restaurant has a great vibe.
The floor is great, but the portion is small and the price is high. Each one of us took an appetizer and main with wine, and ended up eating a pizza outside.
I wouldn’t recommend the shashlick nor the Kebab - the portion of them are absurdly small (one stick only).
Closed on Shabbats now! :(

We enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet. A large variety of carefully prepared dishes beautifully presented. In addition the program includes a freshly prepared dish from the menu, coffee, tea and juice as much as you require. Pity the water used for coffee or tea has a bit an after taste. Otherwise a very nice experience, also the service is very attentive.

Great place to grab lunch or Dinner. Highly recommend the fish and chips, the food was so fresh with beautiful favors. My husband loved the fish and chips.
I tired the Israeli eggplant, because I really like eggplant. You don’t have to try it, if you’re not feeling so ambitious. One of the best eggplant dish I have had, they do served it with this light yummy bread. I did dip and scoop the dish with the bread, amazing favors. Best way to eat the eggplant dish in my opinion.

We ordered via the wine store across the street which is lovely, same can’t be said of Caffit. We ordered two mains, halloumi salad which was ok if not a tad boring in the plain vinaigrette and a grilled salmon fillet which arrived about 25 minutes later; salmon burnt at the ends, dry right through and green beans that were inedible. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Very good restaurant
Prices are very affordable for Tel Aviv. I was pleasantly surprised
Food is good quality, to me the very best dish was the coconut curry noodles (which is not too spicy, I promise)
Service was a tad slow and we had to ask for water many times before actually getting some to our table, but the food is worth the waiting and the staff is very nice.
I don’t come to Tel Aviv very often, but when I do I'll probably pay a visit again :)

Everything delicious at Nini. An Asian (kosher) jewel that's affordable and gives you plenty to eat. The noodle dishes are sumptuous and filling. The staff is super nice and pro-actively helpful. There's a nice mixed crowd of young and old.

"We were disappointed, what a shame.
The restaurant that I once loved so much is no longer the same.
I'll start with the fact that the air conditioning didn't work (mid-August).

We ordered appetizers: Papaya salad and Egg rolls - they were great! But the Pad Thud Kao Yam (duck) dish wasn't tasty, and we couldn't really feel the duck's flavor.
Main courses: Chicken Gai Yang, drowned in an overly sweet sauce, and the overly cooked vegetables around the dish were also swimming in a sauce that just couldn't go down the throat. Si Crong Mo Yang, (spareribs), the waitress warned us that the dish might be a bit dry compared to the regular spareribs - but it just didn't come close to being a successful dish, unfortunately!

The service, the waitress was really nice and knowledgeable about the menu, but we were never asked once if we found the dishes tasty, and it felt like there weren't enough waitstaff on duty to provide good service to the tables. Not to mention that we waited quite a while for our order to be taken.
In conclusion, it would be worth dining at other Asian restaurants.

If you’re looking for a hidden restaurant that opens out into a beautiful open air seating area, followed by an indoor area with an on point bar, serving delicious cocktails and a fantastic DJ playing insanely good tunes, ambient lighting and various different heights of seating areas with intimate seating, on point service, ridiculously tasty food, then this is the place for you.
I enjoyed everything from being seated to being served to the tasty food to the delicious cocktails
I would definitely go back again for the charred cabbage, the Korean wings and the sharing box where you build a burger from lamb and chicken shawarma meat.
I had the house cocktail which has a blend of 16 herbs and is the most delicious cocktail. I drank while I was in Tel Aviv for five days.

For many years Giraf is one of my favorite places. This time it was a complete disappointment. Dumplings were hard with the wrong taste, Cheza came with sticky sushi rice, water served warm. We felt as if we fallen to a tourist trap.

Great location, food and service. Shalev the waitress was simply adorable. The food buffet is nothing of the ordinary. Hot drinks are free and unlimited. There are special cheese filled vegetables and hibiscus which are a delight. Bread selection is huge. The mini Sabih wasn't good - wasn't spicy, not seasoned and without the required amount of tahini and fried eggplant. The juices are great especially the beetroot. There were nice desserts and summer fruits. The atmosphere could be perfect if the shift manager wouldn't bark on the barmaid in front of everyone. Lately the breakfast price rose from 135nis up to 148nis which will make you pay more than 300nis a couple including service. This is not for everyone anytime. Anyway, most of the visitors are hotel guests.

Very recommend!!
The atmosphere is amazing, they even have a second floor cozy and romantic seating, the restaurant is located in a lovely area in Tel Aviv, the service was really good, my wife is pregnant and she had a lot of options including sushi,
The food is very good and the variety is big.
Prices are decent!

Tasty. Veeery slow service. Loud music.
It is hard to hit a lowest bar in service among Israeli restaurants - but this time they managed to do it. We waited for a table, when it was ready and the hostess called us - but when we reached the table she came back and told the following sentence- ‘manager told not to Let anyone else because it is too busy” - there were about 8 free tables ) then I asked to see that manager- when a lady came in couple of minutes she had no idea what is going on - I asked the hostess to repeat what she told me, apparently there was another manager and not her who gives instructions. And the end lady who came just waved her hands at us and said if you don’t like it you can go”) just like this -
You are welcome to spend there your money if your like to be treated like trash
Food is sometimes tastes like it was frozen and premade by the way there - I have visited it before, it is one of few non-kosher places at the Train station that is opened on Shabbat and has seating areas for a bigger groups

What a beautiful place!
Located perfectly in the center of Tel Aviv at a beautiful 1920 building.
The place has a unique style and many of Tel Aviv’s famous people like to hang out there.
The food style is somewhere between France and Japan but in a very light way.
The prices are fair and not expensive.
Cocktails are great and also the wine collection.
The place owner as far as I know is Ruti Bruno and everything she does she makes it at his very best. She’s like the God of culinary in Israel.
Just go there!!!

I had the feeling of eating fast food concealed in a restaurant setting. If you are a tourist, I think it kind of works for a defrost pizza for the kids and a slapped together salad (which hey in Israel even the worst ones tend to be good).. anything else it just gives the feeling someone at a burger chain just threw the ingredients together on the plate and threw them out of the kitchen. Overall I think is quite a decent place to sit in a square in which the alternatives are fish and chips and shawarma, but could be much better

Just had a very lovely experience there. From the beginning, the staff was helpful. They redirected us to the non-smoking Zone when we were heading in the wrong direction on the terrace. And our waiter was conscientious, friendly, patient, really tried to give honest and good recommendation for us and was spot-on. It's quite rare to get such attentive in this city. He took his job seriously.

The crispy pork belly dish was delicious, as recommended, and also the burger was a really decent bacon cheeseburger. The small french fries portion was huge. We found the value-for-money a very good for the city. We actually didn't remember why we don't come here more often!

I think the atmosphere is fun and the food and drinks are really good
Every time we take the crispy chicken (you must take this dish)

I can't give 0 stars. The service was 🗑. The food was subpar (seasoning is not on the menu) neither is half of lunch/dinner menu available at 3:30pm. 1 staff member who actually was trying to check the entire restaurant. We had a table of 4. Waited literally 40 minutes for the 4th persons food to come out & we were avoided like the plague when we tried to ask about the 4th plate. Had to hunt someone down to get the ✔️ & then had to stand at kiosk to pay. Was then told tip not included for someone who did nothing.

Great Location, a casual cafe. For me, it felt nostalgic with the dishes they are using and the desserts we enjoyed eating. The ice cream had a rich taste of good old days ice creams, also the bisques cake!

Pretty good location to take a break and have lunch. Ordered the Italian Shashuka, which was delicious but was a little over cooked.

The Chraime is very delicious, and the bread had a good texture as well.

The orange juice wasn’t as fresh as the waitress set it out to be. Tasted some artificial flavouring or it could just be the sugar.

We were 3 adults and 3 young children. we came at about 18 with quite low expectations.
The menu is quite large and the waitress came with no pen, both alarming signs...
Boy we were wrong!! ^_^
First came out the food for the children.
Then came our plates.
Everything came exactly as ordered, and food was delicious.
IMO, They have one of the best fries in town!
Also the service kept being really attentive and professional.
Overall, a very good place to have a nice burger dinner. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very average, the seasoning is reasonable, the fried cauliflower was not crispy enough, it's a shame because there is potential.
It’s a nice Café to take a break after walking around the old town of Jerusalem. It’s in the center of the city.
Got a tuna salad. The Avocado was rotten and and potatoes frozen from the inside. Don't come here. Asked to replace the Avocado. Had to ask many times in order for them to comply.

I want to give this place 4.5 stars.

The food is grate, the atmosphere is nice.

I’m not old but sometimes (depends on where you are sitting of course) the music is way too loud (way way too loud).

Another thing sometimes the waiters are not so nice and helpful.

Everything else grate (the food is really nice)

We met there with friends for a casual evening. We shared several dishes, among them the lamb osoboko which was really tasty and the avocado broscata that was delicious. We had the excellent Gilgamesh wine with our dishes.
For deserts, we got the tart pattisiere with strawberries and
caramel cake which was amazing - sweet in just the right amount, and the dough was based on kubane (yaman breakfast cake) we loved it!
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the food, we were so hungry that we stormed on every arriving dish and finished it in no time. Hopefully next time I'll add the missing photos. 🤩

Burger arrived with a cold bun, when waiter was asked if they warm or grill the bun he responded positively. When we told him the bun is cold, he replied “well it’s bread, not meat” and took it without further comment. When the burger arrived back at the table it was heated in whole (including the vegetables inside and the cheese which got a bit charred).
We didn’t touch the burger, weren’t asked how it is or why we didn’t try it, and were fully charged. Terrible experience.

We order delivery and it was a great! My friend is pregnant and they have a very large menu to support that. They make a sushi completely separate from raw fish just for my friend. They are very pregnant friendly. I would not recommend ordering fried rolls because it comes very soggy. Aside from that. The rolls were great, but not as great as sitting in the restaurant.

I must say that the eggplant dish was absolutely delicious, and it truly exceeded my expectations. However, I was a bit disappointed with the shakshuka, as I was hoping for a bit more flavor and spice.
Additionally, I noticed that the table I was seated at was a bit flimsy and swung around, which was a bit distracting and took away from the overall experience. If possible, please look into fixing or replacing the table to improve the dining atmosphere.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and appreciate the effort put into the dishes.

We ordered the business lunch and sat next to the most annoying people ever (a female annoying person and a male annoying person. They got free wine because they knew the waiters. Where is our free wine? I don't know).
Afterwards we got a few slices of mediocre bread and stiff butter (harder than a diamond).

Not my first visit but it’s been a while since I’ve had lunch here- the food was wonderful and the service was fast and welcoming, however I have to admit that the acoustics inside is not very good. Which means that during lunch when it’s busy it was really hard to hear each other and talk, so you have to take that into consideration. Honestly if it wasn’t so hot we would’ve sat outside.

Since posting the review, various friends of mine went there and they, too, had great experiences there!
This restaurant is a very popular neighborhood institution which is usually very busy during lunch and dinner time.
Service is very attentive, efficient and fast.
To their credit, even when they are busy, the servers never try to "encourage customers who linger to leave after their finishing their meals.
They offer an extensive menu of "lunch specials" for I.S.59 and 69. The portions are very generous and the food is very tasty.
The lunch specials come with a choice of a salad or other dishes. As well, they offer discounted draft beers with the specials costing I.S.4 for 200 ml glass and I.S. 6 for 300 ml. Enclosed are photos of their I..S. 59 vegan mushroom shawarma in a bun and the I.S.69 Parmigiano Chicken Schnitzel specials; each with freshly made salad as well as their complete menus.

Awesome Thai restaurant! We love Thai food, and the experience was very good - great service, very knowledgeable and on point. The staff was attentive and cool in that weird Tel Aviv way... Our utensils were replaced and the table cleaned between dishes - as it should be - and it was effortless and efficient.
We went for as many starters as we could eat: six of them (for two people...) They were all on point, fresh, spicy, outstanding.
Cocktails were very good and complimented the food.
There's a nearby parking lot - not much parking in the street.
I recommend making a reservation well in advance - the place was packed, with a wait list.
Excellent restaurant, will definitely come back!

It’s been 27 years that this institution serve every single day one of the most excellent neo bistrot cuisine in Tel Aviv. Great service and astonishing food. If you are in the City it’s a must stop.

The food just seems simple but very complex and delicious!

It's important to know that the Coffee-Bar has a dedicated menu per day and the menu of yesterday doesn't imply for today's.

EDIT: They decreased all courses in amount. I have been there 5 times in the last year and I felt the dishes get smaller as I keep going. You can see in the photos attached (e.g number of chicken fillets). But everything is still tasty as usual.

EDIT 2: I'm glad they return the chicken fillets amount to 2 pieces. Still one of the best places in Tel Aviv.

I ordered takeaway, vegan pad Thai. I opened the box when I arrived at the office and it to be half empty. I remained hungry after finishing half a box. I did contact customer service and they did give me a complimentary main course. I took the tofu curry with rice. Very good, but if you pay for it, also pricy. Quality food at a high price. Enjoy.

One of the oldest establishments in tel aviv, and for a reason. Food is always very good, service is great as well.
Had a burger, fish and chicken, all were great.
The place is in the middle of an industrial street and doesn't look that fancy from the outside, but don't worry about it, once you are in its like you are in another place.

As far as sushi goes, they do it very well and there's a pretty large variety of sushi dishes. However, they only have shusi, nothing else. No hot dishes like noodles or rice. No real desert either.
Seating arrangement is ok, it's basically 3 tables in the mall open space.
Not a fancy place, but if you're after a sushi meal, you won't be disappointed. Prices are not cheap, but not too high either.

The first restaurant we tried when we arrived in Israel late at night. And it did not fail us with our expectations - as we heard before our trip the food in Israel is so good!

We came to this place after we got a recommendation.
At first glance, the small open kitchen space looked a bit too tiny. But the owner welcomed us, so we've decided to give it a try.
And boy, how happy we are that we did that.
First, the Sushi is really good. They have a verity of rolls and you can also build your own roll.
Was we were 3 people, we took 3 rolls (one veggi, one with bass fish and one with red tuna) + 2 Sandwich sushi (one with salmon, sweet potato and Tamago. The other one have had salmon, avocado and asparagus).
Besides that, the owner has chosen to give us some treats on the house. At first we got 2 plates of Japanise pickles. In between the times we ate our sushi orders, he gave us 2 more fantastic sushi: I don't know the name of the first one, but it was goooood. And the second one was a "simple" salmon Nigiri with some kind of a lemon cream - it was hot and cold at the same time, the acidity of the lemon was great and added and texture to the entire experience.
We really enjoyed the entire food we got as well from the hospitality.
We would love to revisit Kansai again.

A great coffee shop and restaurant for breakfast and Brunch. Open until 13:00, and the buffet is served and always full until the last minute. Yet it's recommended to arrive no later than 12:20 the latest in order to enjoy this breakfast. Nice variety of salads, smoke fish, cheeses, pastries, fresh fruits, fresh and squeezed juices. In addition to the main course of Eggs Benedict or omelet type.
Enjoy :)

My partner and I took a 3 course meal - appetizer, main, and a desert, 2 alcoholic drinks ( a beer and a coctail ) and an espresso.
The food was delicious, and the barman was real nice.
The prices are real decent and the return worth every penny of it.
Strongly recommend.

Great place with really really really good food.
not that expansive, so the value for money scale is great.
recommend to take a few small dishes and one. good to know - that some of the dishes you can split and only can take half of it, makes it cheaper and you can taste more dishes like that.

Great food , very high standard
The service was extremely good and professional
The menu have a large variety of dishes, it’s seems that someone have a huge restaurant repertoire.
מומלץ בחום, מחירים יפים לרמה שמקבלים,
די ניכר שזה של אותה קבוצה. כל המקומות שלהם משדרים קלאס אירופאי. קיצור שווה !

this is, by far, one of my favorite sushi in the area, including Tel-Aviv.
although the place is inside a local business mall, the quality, freshness and the taste are in a level of a top sushi restaurant in my opinion.
me and my wife are going there on almost weekly basis and from other city (Rosh-Ha'ain).
