Apart from the friendly staff, the airport at 21:00 is a total chaos at the baggage check. We were organized in queues but somehow people way back on the queues were in front :)).

Aside from that possible hicup, there was a lot of garbage on the floor.

Moving on to the restaurants area, at 22:00 they closed everything. They even ask you to leave the central dining tables. For an airport which has many late night flights, it’s weird.

Finally the toilets: dirty, smelly and you have to push for water every second. Not a very good Covid measure.

And then there’s the flight delays.
Why? Why so slow? Unprofessional staff, rude people, can’t speak English! You wait like at least 2 hours for the passport check. Maybe even 3 hours. Guess what!? Our luggage was already out. Together with hundreds of other luggages. And just went to find ours. I am from Uzbekistan and Tashkent International Airport has faster passport check. Come on, this is Italy! Milano!
probably the worst airport experience I’ve ever had. We landed at 14:10 but the line at the passport control for foreign passports took 3 hours long. The staff did not come up with anything to fix this nightmare. The counters are not enough to handle thousands of passengers. The lines are all mixed together with everyone trying to cut the lines. We had to pay a late penalty fee to our driver for having him wait for 3 hours, which costs 120 euro from the original rental fee which is 130 euro. Also, the bathrooms stink with piss.

Such a shocking scene for a big city in developed country. I’m from Thailand and our airport has far better facilities and service. This airport sucks.

A meandering airport, split into all directions. At the entrance there are low ceilings that feel claustrophobic, but in the terminal it gets better. There are places to eat, a bit expensive. There is a rush to gates as they are only announced 20 mins prior, and for international you still have customs to go through so keep any eye on the listings.
The best airport in Europe 2023! When you think of an airport you only imagine queues, chaos, disorder and dirt, but here in the Milan City Airport: Linate Airport, everything is on a human scale: spacious, bright, clean, organised. An interesting innovation is FACE BOARDING to get on the plane showing only your face. Fantastic! Furthermore, it has recently been connected to the city center (Piazza San Babila) with the new metro line 4 (blue), in just 12 minutes! I don't think there is another airport with these characteristics in the world, but if there is let me know and I will go and see it, thanks!

It's an airport! It's tired looking on the outside, but straightforward on the inside. There's no real wow factor, nor much to complain about. Linate Airport seems to major on branded shopping and that will be welcome for some. However, the shops are all open to the walkways. That's mildly annoying when you're trying to get to your gate. Millers and movers don't mix too well. Security was pretty straightforward, but 'bus-to-plane' transport could be managed a little better. Packing people on a bus then having it wait for ages before leaving the gate seems somehow mismanaged. I'm just happy that I wasn't a priority passenger on this occasion.

Absolutely the worst airport I’ve been to out of several hundreds!! Sighs for transfer desk A and B are plenty, but there are literally NO transfer desks, and worst of all, at 1am, there is NO one to talk to to find out any info! On top of that, the computer that provides information only starts working at 6am. It is not off, it is on, and displays a message with the hours. Typically Italian. Zero logic or common sense. Skip this airport!!!!

Bergamo Airport, also known as Orio al Serio International Airport, is a true gem among European airports. My recent experience at this airport left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I entered the terminal, it was evident that Bergamo Airport is committed to providing a top-notch travel experience.

The airport's cleanliness and efficiency are remarkable. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. The check-in and security processes were quick and hassle-free, making for a stress-free start to my journey.

One of the standout features of Bergamo Airport is its excellent connectivity. It's strategically located, providing easy access to Milan and other nearby cities, making it a convenient choice for travelers exploring the Lombardy region. Additionally, the airport offers a variety of transportation options, including buses and shuttles, ensuring that passengers can seamlessly reach their destinations.

Shopping and dining options at Bergamo Airport are also worth mentioning. The duty-free shops offer a fantastic selection of products, and the dining choices cater to a range of tastes, from traditional Italian cuisine to international fare.

In summary, Bergamo Airport sets a high standard for airports across Europe. Its commitment to cleanliness, efficiency, connectivity, and passenger satisfaction make it a standout choice for travelers. I highly recommend Bergamo Airport to anyone flying to or from this beautiful region of Italy.
Even if a bit dated, still very efficient, clean, and organized. However, the administration really need to keep some food and bars facilities open until people are in the facilities. And that's why I give 3 stars review
Both terminal 1 & 2 are decent terminals. There is a free shuttle service service between the two, with a bus running every 15 minutes.
The T1 bus stop is across from the Sheraton hotel, and the T2 is across from the very end of the departure building.

Security was good when I was there. In T1 you can leave all electrical devices and liquids in your bag.

Terminal 1 had some beautiful art on display when I was there, so I've shared some photos.

Very small airport. The airport closes between midnight and 5 am. It's not ideal to sleep at.
There is also nothing open for food or drinks till 6 am.
The airport is so small that there is not a lot of seating area. It's not ideal for busy moments.

Further on it was clean.
Great experience to reach Venice by boat. Airport is quite comfortable. There are couple of places to take a coffee and some sandwiches
More comfortable seating and better shops past the gates. Water is expensive. Poor WiFi and charging options.
Worse airport I’ve ever had the experience of. Slow, poor service from start to finish. Very unhelpful.
Travelled with my family; wife and two young boys both under 5years old.
The passport control was as slow as a snail. After a long flight we had to wait an age to show passports.
The airport was a bit smaller than I expected but it was cute. I was surprised to see a grand piano in one of the lounge areas haha but I thought it was a nice addition.

The airport seems clean. A few options for both souvenirs and f&b, although I still ended up buying McDonalds. There's a few entertainment corners for your kids as well while waiting for your flight.

Honestly I don't have anything to complain about. It's not the most impressive airport, but there's no bad thing about it as well.
Very easy to navigate at the airport. Simply follow the signs to the Alilaguna, and the escalator will pop you out right on the dock by the water where the water taxis are. We took the alilaguna. Check the map to see what stop is closest to your hotel, easy peasy!
MXP Airport was a pleasant surprise. Once past security, there were a ton of shopping and eating options available. The airport was larger than I anticipated. Passport control moved fairly efficiently and officers were nice.
I flew from Stuttgart to Venice and everything was smooth except for this detail: On the information screens it showed “Stoccarda” for Stuttgart which is Italian which I did not understand. I think international flights from abroad should be described in English or at least, in the language that is spoken at the departure airport. It got me confused and in fact took me a while to look for the right belt to collect my baggage. Other than that, the airport is fine. It is not too good but not bad at all.
*honest review of airport *

After reading the most awful reviews on this airport and having anxiety this is my honest opinion on the airport. I caught a flight from London at 5.55Am and arrived at 8:55 AM : getting off the plane and to the outside of the airport took literally 20 minutes was quick and easy.

passport control: it’s not just seeing the person to get stamp double feature you have to put your passport in machine to scan (like in London Stan-stead when returning.

To go into Milan Central - The coaches are parked right outside the front door of the airport, you pay on the spot, no pre booking needed + Coach €12 one way or a return was €20! As soon as I got out there was one leaving in 2 minutes! ( mine was a double decker one with the name migliavacca on it ) droped me : right at milan central station (you can also get it back from this same spot- they go every 1/020 minutes. And the journey takes 1 hour 30 minutes.

Going home: wasn’t as smooth as coming in.

I’m not sure what all negative reviews are saying as the airport has multiple food and shops and places to seat yes it’s busy like every other big airport. Avoid McDonald’s shocking service.

Que for security was long got in at 7.25 / you have to scan your boarding pass before you go through security / was out at 7;45 then just waited for my gate.

Flight was delayed as per the screen could see pretty much every flight was delayed was meant to leave at 11.20 left at 1: 12 (Due to the weather rain/thunder/storm thogh)

A very efficient airport with great connections to the city centre. From plane to exit and passport control in 3/4 minutes. Highly recommend this airport.
This by far, worst airport I’ve ever been too. I’m not even concerned about how dirty it was. I was more blown away by the unorganized operations they have going at the international gates. No where near enough seating. Their staff, unprofessional and are the cause for a large majority of the chaos. United shouldn’t be operating international flights out of this airport because there’s only 1 runway, so if the wind ain’t blowin right… CANCELLED! Fly to Rome, NOT HERE!
Dirty toilets without proper toilet seats , smells so bad. No enough seats on gates, half of passengers have to stay on feet, only few seats have power outlets to charge phone. One of worst airports definetly
Malpensa Airport has two passenger terminals and they are connected by airport shuttle buses and trains.
Malpensa Airport additionally provides free shuttles connecting Terminal 2 to Terminal 1.
But, Can you provide us a squat WC??
When I was there, there was not a squat WC, just sitting WC
Almost all flights are delayed, you can’t get tax free if you’re flying to a eu country or simply because there’s nobody at the office, massive lines before security checks, I always get in fights with people trying to cut in line because they are late for their flights. It’s working over-capacity. They should either expand or stop having so many flights from this airport
the worst airport I've ever been to! when I arrived, there were only 2 people who were working to check passports in the conditions where there were so many people that they could not fit in that room and the line was very difficult. When I left, I had a plane at 6 in the morning and I arrived at the airport at around 11 pm. at midnight they moved us to the arrivals area and at 1 o'clock in the morning they took all of us, at least 100 people, out in a nasty tone and speaking badly in Italian. I have never heard such rudeness in any airport I have traveled to, and I have traveled in many. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, unclean, without any facilities. The airport was full of garbage in all corners. There is no plug in this airport or charging station. there is no excuse for something like this, even if it's summer and it's the season, I've been to much busier airports and I haven't encountered anything like this. Shame to bear the name "international" airport!!
Avoid if possible. Waited at checkin counter 6 for 2.5 hours with 2 kids. Lady behind counter was taking 10 mins per person to print a boarding pass and label luggage. Also after security departure gate info is behind seating area...who designed this????
It’s really nice airport! Very clean, what I noticed, is that staff in the airport is very young and friendly, and also very helpful.
Prices are also very good here.
They also have a smoking area if you smoke.
Look at the view!
Like this airport as its very easy to navigate around. Accessible by train, bus or taxi. Lots of shops and places to eat, and not all chain brands. Enjoyed some focaccia and a beer. Number of vending machines also available.
A clean tidy and large international airport. Passport control was a little slow but efficient enough within 15 minutes. I would fly here again.
Delayed flights, no room for all the people who are there because of the massive delays and you can charge your phone only by paying money either at cafes and wait for somebody to free an outlet or using the charging stations for a MINIMUM amount of 2 euros - of course you can use only the usb inside the charging stations, so good luck if you have a fast charger you can use, it'll take hours for your phone to get to full battery. Unbelievable.
It’s an average size international airport with plenty of shops, duty free stores, boutiques and places to eat. It’s not in the greatest conditions in terms of the building and infrastructure, however it does its job. Typical to all Italian airports, once you pass the passport control there’s nothing. Just a couple of vending machines and a toilet, which isn’t very clean nor pleasant.
This airport is a mess, it looks like they converted a train station into an airport. Zero organization, Check-in takes hours of waiting in lines and there is no one to direct you or help you. Most of the staff only speaks Italian (makes sense in an "International" airport).
Finally you arrive at the counter and it takes 13 minutes to get a boarding past for no reason. I travel a lot, I don't believe I ever experienced such a chaotic check-in.
Really not happy with my experience.

Nice small airport, unfortunately it doesn’t have so many stores and restaurants.
Very clean but no organisation. I will specifically comment on my experience at gate B12 which is next no B13, 14 and 15 so the same chaos for 4gates.

The security control for identity is next to the gate, there was only on person verifying your documents and the line was infinite. After you pass the check, there is NO WAY BACK to any lounge area and so you are blocked in a small place with almost no chairs, or if they are they cannot be used, no shops, even the machine for drinks did not work and I am not sure how you are supposed to go to the toilet.

It is unbelievable that you do not even have room to stand up, let alone on a chair…

0 respect for the people waiting for their flight…
Marco Polo airport in Venice is a well-organized and efficient gateway to the city. From smooth check-in to hassle-free security, the process is seamless. The facilities are modern and clean, with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Convenient transportation options make it easy to reach the city center. A great start to your Venice adventure!
Naples Airport
The Naples International Airport is a bit small for the number of passengers it serves but has an efficient system. It can use more bathrooms especially in the arrival area.

For the arrival area, you can see the taxi and pick up areas to the right as you come out.

For the departure area, It can get a bit busy and chaotic as you come in. It helped that we got in 2.75 hours before our departure. The line for our airline check-in counter was very long. The security check area is on the 2nd floor, just the floor above the check-in counter. ALL the liquid soap dispensers in the men’s restroom/water closet (WC) at the time of this writing were empty.

There were a lot of passengers but it moved quite quickly. We only needed to scan our boarding pass (not passport) to get through.

There were plenty of sitting areas and cafès after security check.

For international flights like ours, our passports were checked at our gate. We had to ascend a few flights of stairs to get in to the aircraft with our carry-on luggage.
Crazy long lines in the passport control area due to lack of staff and total chaos in the bus area. Very hard to understand which buses are arriving, how the lines were formed… Terrible welcome to Italy

Disaster of a spot, If I was ever to return to Italy I would Swim home before using this place again! Believe me you should pay the extra money and fly in the other venice airport or even return via Milan.

One charge point here with approx 16 sockets, yet 5 Ryanair flights leave together, use your imagination how crazy that charge station gets ! People will plug your phone out so stay near it.

Ryanair flights to Ireland usually go from gates 1-5 (almost all at the same time) yet they see fit to have one passport control officer who absolutely hates his life there. This creates needless waiting times and stress.

The food is extortionate at 15euros for a dodgey looking sandwich and a fanta. And even if you do get food there is about 5 tables and no seats to eat it so expect to sit on the floor.

Without a doubt the worst Airport I have ever used just a place to herd people using budget airlines and charge them crazy money for nothing

Post covid security process was fast for us today. Sufficient staffing and screening units in place. The airport does not have enough seats and gate departure space for the flight through put and the scramble for seats seems to exacerbate the stress of flying.

This is not a peaceful airport.
Charming airport with lovely wall art as you leave the plane giving you a good sense of where you are. Excellent signage to smoothly move you around the construction projects. Timely baggage arrival and a lovely feel of a smaller airport. Everyone was courteous and helpful. It was lovely coming in over the Alps and getting to have an aerial view of Venice.
No space for the people waiting. Lack of chairs, teres a big open area down stairs with very few seats.
This airport needs to be organized, very few flights and a total chaos!

Great airport so close to the centre of Milan.

Modern, clean and well run. The trays that automatically disappear off the end of the security conveyor are magic!

We couldn't find anywhere that served pasta in the airport but there is loads of other food.

The airport was very well connected to Padua and Venice, with regular bus and shuttle services scheduled during the day. The airport was very small and easy to navigate and had a nice Duty Free area with reasonable prices. On the downside, the bathrooms were a little outdated and dirty, at arrival the wait for passport control was long and the small, crowded and improvised space used for the Non- Schengen gates area was lacking in seating options. In the end, I enjoyed my experience here with all of its highs and lows!
Don’t not be fooled by the size of this small International Airport. I was. They do not have a lot of terminals because they share terminals which was confusing until it was explained. You may not see your airline on the board. One hour before your flight is to depart, your flight information will appear on the board and the terminal number. Be sure to have you passport in your hand. You will need it a lot. Once you get through TSA the first stop is the shops to get your last gifts and lemon-cello. 😃. If you purchase liquid’s they will seal it for you.
This is a lovely airport it's not as massive as Heathrow London or JFK New York, but it gets the job done. It is beautifully designed and strategically located only 20mins from Venice Grand Canal, which is one of the main tourist attractions in this city. When going from this airport to the Venice grand canal, Take The Venice-airport" shuttle" its €10. and it gets you to the Venice grand canal station in quick time. You can take the Bus 6, 6c, or 6L or any corresponding bus to the mainland if your hotel or destination is further into the main land.
DO NOT TAKE THE BUS 5 TO VENICE GRAND CANAL, IT IS VERY LONG TEDIOUS JOURNEY OF OVER AN HOUR. and the bus is often packed.
Living in Italy for last 12 years it’s been always good experience I got I saw people complain about thing but for my personal experience I got good service and I felt good 👍 .There making lots of changes and make thing more easier for all people we should appreciate there work . so I wish you all a good flight ✈️ and happy journey .

The worst passport control in the world!!
For all arrived aircrafts only 3 WINDOWS for controlling (1 of this is for "special" people without line)
Very nice airport. Poorly marked ticket counters for international flights. Note you are dropped off by transportation on one level and need to go down one level if flying Delta, American or United. Lots of duty free shopping on the upper levels and lots of food choices. Included in review are photos of the Marco Polo First class lounge. Good small bites for food, didn't see a bar, but we were there in the morning.
We had here the night transfer. At 12 pm they sent us all outside and told us that the airport was closing. It was raining and cold, around 50 people were waiting outside, exhausted and without sleep. And all this because of 3 hours that the airport was closed. At 3:30 they were opening again. There’s no reason why we could’ve not slept inside and have a bit of rest…
The first thing we needed when open was the restroom. Yes, they took the effort to clean it during the 3 hours, but there was still no toilet paper and the floor was still wet. No plugs to charge the phone, only broken ones. Wifi? Not working

What a terrible airport experience. I had a connecting flight from Dubai and was stuck in such a horrendous line. Had to go through security over 3x ....unbelievable. why in a world is there so much security & passport control...especially for a connecting flight...Such nonsense. Couldn't and didn't have any time to enjoy anything in the airport after being stuck on lines for over an hour with my small layover. They need to change things here....so upset. So if you have a connecting flight here ... especially going to NY, USA....be aware... you might miss it if it's an hour layover or something...
Ps: the bathrooms.... not enough stalls, not clean or maintained... another unnecessary line & wait for no particular reason ...

Thank G'd I made it right in time for last of boarding... beyond disappointed
Nice, small airport very close to the city center. Short waiting time and very fast boarding. Very useful for short-mid flights within Europe.

Beautiful places worth visiting. We have a wonderful team here.
Thank you from the heart
If you can, avoid this airport. From the plane, they still employ buses. Then two hours (TWO) to get the luggages delivered upon arrival. No personnel to support. Dirty. Terrible and embarrassing experience. Forget about it
Great airport! it gets a bit chaotic when it comes to security because the queue is quite long! We paid almost 4 euros in one of the coffee shop for a bottle of water so better you find one of those machines where with 1.20 you get a bottle! For our flight the check in counter was number 127 located at the lower floor (0) but on the monitors it was written level 1 … a bit confusing! But I still give 4 stars because of the architecture and the amazing natural light coming in from the ceiling!

You can relax, wait and dream about while looking at beauty ladies and imagine how they will look like when Cannova artist would scoulpture them as Venus or Afrodita🫠🤵‍♀️.

Airport gets very crowdy at peak of the day, but before this departure wave is fine.

They have only 0.5 hour of free wi-fi. There isn't any children play corner.

Since our last visit they build have new restaurant before going into passenger control. Airport doesn't have any jet-bridge. So if there is raining be prepared to get wt or umbrella. I have also never seen any apron bus.

Treviso Airport is very basic, but ok.
Overall not a bad experience. It’s a small international airport compared to others in the world, yet it does the job very well. Sometimes having less means more. Easy to move around the gates, lots of food options and shops are also great.

For US/Israel flights you need to follow a separate flow.

I would like to see more improvements on the public bathrooms and in the overall appearance, seems a bit too old.

Quick, clear and you have lots of Duty free shops after you pass the gate. We traveled on Saturday, it was not busy at all. Only thing is ITA’s desk lady keep asking me to pay extra for my luggage which we had paid online already, took us awhile to clarify that and she finally admitted it was her mistake.

Really nice and clean airport, it’s quite being and not very crowded. The security check is quick and efficient, no need to take the liquids and electronics out when going through the scan. There are plenty of spots to grab a bite and a few shops. However, I would say that there aren’t enough panels to display all the departures and gates. Overall, a much better airport than malpensa and bergamo.
Very nice airport. Flew to Hamburg from here.
The waiting seats are very comfortable and lots of decent food options. There were no announcements though (maybe only this day), be sure to check your gate number and flight status on nearby screens.

Nice and small airport. I reached many hours prior to my flights. Closer to the Milan city, there’s a good frequency of city bus available to and from airport.

I like the interior design especially with plants it looks beautiful and i felt the good vibes.

I only had a cabin bag so it quick. Security check-in was fast. All the staff were speaking English and were really nice to us.

Good part of this airport is you can see a complete runway from your gate waiting area. You could see flights landing and taking off.

Not so vegetarian food options but overall good airport.

Well.. let’s me start off by saying it was easy and smooth to travel thru this airport as it was small and less rush in the morning. But it didn’t have good access to screens to look at the information, there are only few and not enough info screens otherwise all guud!
Great airport. I was scared about the comodities because my previous experience in Bergamo (The most horrendous airport of Italy at least).
But I have to say that the place is clean, you have places to charge the phone, clean and comfortable bathrooms and nice personal. Machines with food, water and soda cans at good prices.
No racism whatsoever as some of the reviewers said (Un hombre de 40 años hablando de que lo pararon por que son racistas, claramente sufrio meningitis de chico).
Good job to everyone and specially to the peple that makes this place an "Ill be back" place and not in the terminator meaning.
Cheers!

Malpensa Airport is the biggest Milan’s airport. Well connected to the city by train, even if it takes around 45 minutes to arrive here. Well organized, quite clean and lots of stores and restaurants, all these makes Malpensa a very convenient airport. Take enough time to arrive at the gates because the distances are pretty long. Also, many lounges are inside the T1 which is also the most transited terminal. There are a few smoking places also.
