Amazing place. Lovely room and a view that you can't believe it's possible to have. No tea/ coffee and no lift which we knew and it didn't worry us but might affect others

Modern beautifully renovated former glass factory on Murano Island, full of art and glass sculptures! Further from touristy Venice, but actually nice to be more quiet and peaceful. Lovely shops and restaurants. Private hotel dock and water taxi to Venice makes it easy to get to the city center. A bit less convenient, but worth it.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from Nov 1 - 11, 2024 and were tremendously impressed.
The Hotel and the room was very clean.
The staff was friendly, dedicated, hardworking and helpful, especially the front desk (Susanna) who checked us in on the first night.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with many tasty choices.
The Hotel had a gym that I used a couple of times. It was clean and in good repair.
Murano Island is a gem, its definitely on the quiet side once the sun sets and the day trippers from Venice leave for the day.
Highly recommend this Hotel.

Best location in Venice.
The hosts are the nicest and sweetest and made us feel so welcome.
They are locals and recommended their favourite spots.
The room is clean, spacious and has the best view of the canal.
I will always come back to Venezia canal view if I stay in Venice again!

Our stay at the hotel was, overall, very enjoyable. The location is exceptional—peaceful, quiet, and perfect for those seeking tranquility away from the crowds. If you’ve visited Venice before and want to experience something new, this is an excellent option. The island of Murano is stunning, and staying here offers a fresh perspective of the area.
The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and in many ways feels like a five-star property—though not when it comes to housekeeping. We stayed in a room on the second floor with a lovely view of the courtyard. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a very kind and polite young man at reception, who took the time to explain everything about the hotel and provide helpful tips about the city. His professionalism and friendliness set the tone for our stay.
Breakfast was served in our room for €17 per person. While the selection was simple, everything was fresh and tasty. The room had all the amenities you’d expect: a coffee machine, a kettle, and an air conditioner that could be set to heating, which was a nice touch. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Additionally, the hotel offers an easy online service to request extras like slippers or bathrobes, which was very convenient.
During our stay, I used the gym. It was well-equipped with all the basics, and water was provided. However, it was uncomfortably hot when I arrived, and I had to adjust the temperature myself. Another downside was the lack of disinfectants for cleaning equipment and the absence of towels, which could be improved.
We also booked two 50-minute massages at the spa, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The massages were mediocre and far from professional. The therapists didn’t seem well-trained—it felt more like being lightly patted rather than receiving a proper massage. At times, the pulling of my arms was even uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend the spa services based on this experience.
On a brighter note, Sara from the staff organized a wonderful tour for us. She was extremely helpful, communicating with us online to tailor the itinerary to our preferences. This level of personalized service was truly impressive and added a lot to our stay.
However, the major issue during our visit was the cleanliness of the room. When we arrived, we noticed significant dust on the floor, mold in the shower, an empty tissue box, only one roll of toilet paper, and dirty dishes. This was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber, and I’ve attached photos to show the issues.
Even after cleaning services, the floor remained dirty, and on multiple occasions, we found pillows left on the floor. We raised these concerns with the reception staff, who were very understanding and took immediate action. Elizabeth, in particular, personally ensured that our room was cleaned thoroughly, which was much appreciated. She also went above and beyond by helping me purchase jewelry, checking availability at a nearby store on my behalf—an example of the excellent service the staff can provide.
This hotel, while officially four stars, has many qualities that remind you of a five-star experience, from the modern design to the outstanding staff. Unfortunately, the housekeeping falls far below this standard. My apartment is honestly cleaner, and I don’t clean every day! This is an area that urgently needs improvement.
Thank you for a memorable stay—despite the issues, we enjoyed it overall and hope to see better housekeeping standards in the future.

The location of the hotel is excellent and it’s on a beautiful canal. The jetty is really pretty to sit on and watch the gondolas.
The reception staff are really helpful but the breakfast staff were rushing about and appeared stressed all the time. We had to wait for tea, coffee and toast for ages. There isn’t enough room in the breakfast room to move about when it is busy. Also, the breakfast was limited and cold. There is no hot cooked breakfast unless you pay extra - but then you’ll probably have to wait ages for it! The rooms are clean and comfortable but don’t be fooled you’ll get a balcony - there’s probably only one room with a balcony in the hotel! We asked for a take away breakfast on the last day but it was full of dry biscuits without any butter or jam.

Beautiful decor and felt like home. It’s a hotel but with an airbnb vibe. Clean. My room had a full/queen bed and 2 twin daybeds for family of 4. Decent space. Toiletries provided. The location was near a good amount of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. I loved my stay here! The owner is so kind and friendly.
Only con is that there is no elevator.
Note, that the walk from the piazzole roma / parking garage was 19 min. The walk is not horrible just pack light because there are a few set of stairs.

Locanda del Ghetto truly exceeded all our expectations! The incredibly warm and helpful owners made us feel at home, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The rooms were clean, spacious (especially by Venice standards!), and had all the little touches that made our stay comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and we even received extra water bottles upon request, which was so thoughtful.
The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto with views of a beautiful square featuring WWII memorials. It’s an easy walk to fantastic restaurants, shops, and multiple vaporetti stops. A real gem is Torrefazione Cannaregio , just two minutes away—it’s the best coffee in Venice, hands down!
We had such a delightful stay and can't wait to return. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Venice. Highly recommend Locanda del Ghetto!

We arrived at night so the pics might be a bit dark. NH Murano was the best decision to be away from the crazy crowds of Venice. It’s new and better value for money than if we stayed in expensive Venice.
Great service. They booked our airport transfer via private water taxi. Susanna in the front desk was sooo lovely. She booked a place for dinner and gave us all the details we needed for our stay plus had some wonderful recommendations.
Breakfast buffet by the sea was is lovely. The most important part is that the American bacon is crispy.

Wow, what an experience staying in this charming B&B. Great location, less than a couple of kms from the business of Piazza San Marco. The room was spotless, and the breakfast sumptuous!
There's a lovely restaurant serving delicious kosher food very close by ( Gam Gam) and a new pizza bar next door that we enjoyed.
We would not hesitate to recommend this place!

We had an Amazing stay, we Just love this hotel and Elisabetta at the Front desk was incredible, Always with a huge smile on! The Spa Is great, thank you Maria for your message! Matteo and Irene are superb, keep on shining! The only negative aspect which I now want to mention, since It has never improved, Is the breakfast. I would rather prefer to pay more but have more options and quality! Coffee machine at the restaurant needs to be set correctly or the coffee Is not good. I have been Told twice by the breakfast staff that the coffee Is not good and It wasn't but It can easily be fixed. I Will be back next month! Happy Christmas holiday! <3

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Colombina Hotel from September 23 to 25, and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable.
Our room was absolutely beautiful, and the highlight was the private balcony overlooking the canal—it truly felt like a scene from a postcard. Watching gondolas glide by was magical and added to the charm of Venice.
Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a wonderful selection of fresh, delicious options that gave us the perfect start to our days exploring the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and highly recommend the Colombina Hotel for anyone looking for an authentic Venetian experience with impeccable service.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The room was beautiful and pleasant for three people. The hotel offered us a boat ride around the city the first night we were there, there was a fee to do it , but it's a nice way to see Venice on the canals. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. The location was perfect, near to shops and restaurants and transport. The hosts were friendly and helpful and pleasant. Everyday they helped plan our routes and their advice was indispensable. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious.

This is an amazing Hotel. What a wonderful experience. It was our one year anniversary and everyone made it memorable. All the staff were professional and very helpful. They made our water taxi arrangements which started our trip on a great note. Daily breakfasts were delicious. The location was close to everything and a walking distance to St. Mark’s Square. We had a beautiful and breathtaking view from our rooftop balcony. We will be back again.

"My stay at this hotel in Venice was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Jenniffer and Claudio. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel at home right away. Every interaction with them was a pleasure, always ready to help with a smile and providing excellent recommendations for exploring the city. The room was spotless, showcasing a level of cleanliness that truly stands out. Every corner, from the bathroom to the bed, was perfectly maintained. It was clear that the housekeeping team pays great attention to detail, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.Without a doubt, Jenniffer and Claudio are true ambassadors of hospitality, and the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms adds an extra touch of luxury to the experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Venice. I can't wait to return!"

New hotel (street view not yet updated!) with very nice decor and modern touches. We had a terrace suite that had plenty of room, was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable, the shower was powerful and all the amenities were there (you have to ask for an iron/board but it arrived immediately).
Staff are very friendly and helpful providing advice on boat routes/maps/places to visit/restaurants etc.
15 min boat to Venice keeps you close but out of the hustle and bustle chaos.
Would stay here again without looking around if we returned ho Murano/Venice.

We really liked our stay in Venezia Canal View, conveniently located with boat stops near by, room with view to the canal, rooms are confortable and spacious, A/C works wonderful and great service culture of Jennifer and Claudio. Loved the coffee machine option every morning in the reception to get your day going. Recommended 100%

The location is prefect, in a quiet square far from the busy places. Authentic Venetian neighborhood with traditional restaurants and small stores. Anna gave us some precious recommendations about where to eat!! Grazie mille :)

Wonderful hosts, very kind and accommodating. The rooms feel like you are in one of the Italian apartments, we had a room towards the canal, it is very quiet. The place is probably the safest in the city with the military guarding the plaza. It's an 11 minute walk to the train station and close to the traghetto if you want to take one, or or walk.

Dejlig stille kølig lejlighed, centralt beliggende tæt på Vatikanet. 5 min.

Great location and the service was quick and responsive. Place was clean. It was relatively easy to find when off the train. Only issue I found, as we only stayed a night, was that the shower leaked a bit onto the floor but it seems many showers in Italy were smaller. Clean and would recommend to others. The water taxi is almost right outside the door which was convenient. Remember, after 11p they stop running.

Perfect stay for a good price. we stayed here during our city break in Venice and it was great. very clean, very nice hosts and the location is perfect. very close to a boat station or a 20-30 min walk from the center (Piazza San Marco) which we loved because it was away from the city center's chaos and we could experience the place as locals.

It is what it says in the title: it really has the best windows and view directly over the St Mark Basilica, Doja's Palace and the Bell Tower.
Overall, we wish we got a nicer hotel in a quieter location. Here, you are clearly paying for the location and are not getting what you would expect in a 4 star hotel.
What we didn't realise was that you are staying around 3 different bells so either sleep with windows closed (the air conditioning didn't work when we were there, so it got quite warm), or bring earplugs and mosquito repellent if sleeping with the windows open. Generally, St Mark Square is super busy, with live music and loud street noise until midnight. It gets busy again from 8.30-9am again. Hats off to the window maker though, once you close them it is much quieter!
The room was quite basic and some elements were not as advertised.

Great location a few minutes from vaporetto, 12 min walk from station. We had a beautiful room with great view over courtyard of the Ghetto Nuovo. Nice breakfast, pastries, bread, fruit, cereal, yoghurt. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The area is full of interesting cafes, restaurants and bars, vibrant but quieter than the overcrowded areas closer to San Marco. Ideal really, would love to return

Beautiful hotel! Jennifer is an absolute amazing host! Our view was a 10 out of 10. Our room was clean and comfortable.
The hotel does not have an elevator and the room was a bit small. There is quite a bit of noise from the water at night and morning from boat traffic. But the location is perfect. You are away from tourists, in the residential neighborhood of Cannaregio. You are 10 minutes from the train station and close to water taxi stations. Price was good!
Highly recommend staying for a visit to Venice

My husband and I stayed at the Best Windows boutique hotel during the spectacular Carnival in Venice in February 2019. We were thrilled to be staying in room 711, located right inside the iconic Clock Tower, an early Renaissance building on the north side of the Piazza San Marco. The location truly could not be beat - we were immersed in history while having the best views of the colorful Carnival below our window.
Our room itself was gorgeous, with antique Venetian furnishings and décor transporting us back in time. Staying in the Clock Tower meant no elevator and having to carry our luggage up the stairs, but the experience was well worth the effort.
A highlight was being able to hear the famous 15th century clock's intricate inner workings and chimes, as the mechanism was just on the other side of our wall. The chimes are beautiful but do ring loudly on the hour throughout the night - I'd recommend bringing ear plugs if you want to ensure a good night's sleep. To us, the clock's bells added to the charm and magic of staying within this historic tower.
The Carnival experience was unforgettable. We'd don our costumes and walk right into the Plaza, and become part of the magic.
While the Clock Tower itself has no room service or front desk, the boutique hotel itself where you have to check in and check out is just a minute away.
I cannot recommend the Best Windows boutique hotel highly enough for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty, history and festival experience of Venice. We're already planning our next visit to this one-of-a-kind property! 5 stars.

Wonderful stay at Venezia Canal View! Check in process was easy and smooth. Even though there is no elevator, the front desk staff was very helpful in helping us carry our bags up.
The location is great - right across the way from 3 vaporetto stops and a bit out of the central touristy part of Venice, providing some relief and access to local restaurants and bars.
The hotel was very clean and spacious! I stayed in a 3 person occupancy room but it could’ve easily fit 4 and each room has a canal view! The hotel even provides some sitting pads for you to sit on the balcony for incredible views of the canal. I could’ve spent my whole visit there! You can have access to a microwave and fridge as well which was helpful.
Wonderful stay and would love to stay again!

I recently stayed at a hotel and was disappointed by the high cost of the room, which I felt did not reflect the quality of the accommodations. The furniture in the room was very old and worn, and the room itself was not as clean as I would have expected from a hotel in this price range.
Despite the high cost of the room, I found that the amenities and services offered by the hotel were lacking. For example, my room was in the thierd floor without elevator.
Overall, while the location of the hotel was convenient. I would hesitate to recommend it to others due to the high price and lack of quality accommodations. There are many other hotels in the area that offer better value for the money and provide a more enjoyable and comfortable stay.

A lovely spacious and peaceful (with the windows closed!) retreat in the heart of the city. The apartment and shower room was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and both Giovanni and Francesca pleasant and obliging. The kitchen facilities are great for breakfast and light snacks.
