The hotel is very nice. We had an excellent stay, with great service and a very walkable location. My only gripe is that the rooms are TINY. I thought we had a relatively middle of the road room as far as cost, it definitely wasn’t the cheapest, but it was really small. The amenities are very nice though. Great gym. Great little rooftop pool.

We treated ourselves to a hotel that was over our budget because we just arrived from JFK and wanted comfort and style. The W Rome staff were all very helpful and friendly. Shout out to Antonella, the night concierge...unfortunately, we were robbed while out at dinner (NOT AT THE W) and the security staff and management was very helpful and empathetic. Thank you.

The room was definitely on the small side, despite being a "Sensational" room but it was comfortable and cool with the AC. And quiet. We were able to use the gym shower when we arrived early in the morning.

Despite our being robbed, the stay and the accommodations were the best part of Rome.

Thanks Antonella!

Beautifully designed, great location and amazing service from the employees. They all go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and that you enjoy your stay. The rooms are a good size and meticulously cleaned everyday. The best hotel in Rome hands down. Special thank you to Raffaella for all her hospitality.
A very very very good hotel

Might be the best hotel i've stayed at. Venice Venice Hotel is what 5 star hotels used to be but sadly many are no longer.

They are excellent with the details. The very small ones which make a 5star hotel.

For example the design is incredible. Mix of old and new. It was a former palace converted into a hotel.

The staff will tell you that because they are trained to know that. Small detail.

The design is beautiful. But it's real design. It doesn't just look good it works well. There are little dials to control lighting, music, art (i never used this one) and the heating. Small details again.

All wires are hidden and there are buttons to control almost everything including the lights and the toilet.

The staff are genuinely (which is rare) very friendly and helpful and dressed in a very chic and understated way.

The food is incredible and they provide a box full of all the ingredients of your meal.

The crowd in the restaurant is a mixture of chic business, fashion, design types and the guests. The restaurant also overlooks the water which is beautiful.

The fact they are one the font cover of this months The Aficionados magazine says it all.

Many 5 star hotels just look good. It's all surface level with design, service, food.

Venice Venice is the real deal.

If you love design and have high taste levels this is the hotel for you.

Only a few hotels in Paris and South of France have reached this level of excellence.

I had a wonderful time at my first Bienalle. Thanks to my hosts at the Venice Venice Hotel :)
We stayed there for one night - superb location in the heart of the city - Duomo and shopping all accessible by foot. Great grounds with garden, wonderful food and bar as well as Antonia - well selected designer clothes. Have to single out the concierge service - Valeria and Lidia. They were a great help with getting tough reservations

I am a lifetime Marriott titanium member and traveled a lot and I do believe this was the single best hotel I have ever stayed. It combines everything…beautiful comfortable rooms, world class restaurant, great fitness facility and the most important of all a staff that is courteous and super attentive.

I could go on for paragraphs but strongly recommend you stay here. All of this combined with a great location make the W Rome simply the best.

Thank you to the management and staff of the W Rome for making this a wonderful experience!
Overall a stylish well designed hotel that has recently opened but still has some teething issues. At close to €1500 per night without breakfast the fee is somewhat gratuitous given that there is also no gym or spa open yet.

Positives:
- Friendly staff
- Stylish hotel bar with great cocktails
- Good food (but cold coffee served by room service in the morning)
- Comfortable beds with nice bathrooms

Negatives:
- No welcome drink or water offered at check in
- Issues reported to the staff not resolved such as an alarm system that went off from early evening and throughout the night (including waking us at 0430) and we were not offered an alternative room or any assistance with this issue when reported;
- Items not being delivered on room service despite asking on three separate occasions
- Bathroom amenities: majority of the rooms do not have bathtubs (apparently only 3 in the entire hotel on enquiry), the hairdryer is outdated and poor (I would expect a top of the range from a fashion hotel)

Sconsiglio!!!!

Staff eccezionale, super veloci e disponibili.
Siamo stati davvero contenti, torneremo sicuramente!

Price gougers! We were upsold upon check in and made to pay 70 euro for pressing a few clothes despite the hotel making it sound like it would be free. They said we couldn't have an iron but they'd be happy to take care of whatever we needed. Then we were surprised to see all the fees on our bill and they wouldn't make it right despite their misleading communication. Not a good way to treat customers.
Great location in Venice. The hotel newly refurbished rooms & restaurant have been nicely done & executed so beautifully. Also great staff at the service of the guests. The hotel is full of art, concepts & installations as well. Some of this art is beautiful while some is not. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and after a long day of walking in Venice, it's a great place to come back to rest.
Everything you can expect from a high end 5 star exclusive luxury hotel. The rooms are amazing, the staff and service is superb. I stayed there for three nights and can’t say anything but thank you for this wonderful experience.

5 star Good food good environment 1 star poor service. Two hour wait for our main dishes and one of them was missed. Asked for drink and nothing was delivered.
The location of the place couldn't be better, just a short 10-minute walk from the iconic Duomo. As you step into the plaza, housed within one of Europe's oldest seminaries, you can feel the rich history that surrounds you.

Every little thing was taken care of, and the staff was incredibly attentive. Of course, for the price you pay, you'd expect nothing less. The rooms were cleaned twice a day, and they even provided small skincare products and perfume samples from Salvatore Ferragamo. And let me just say, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

But the real highlight of my stay was breakfast. Even if you're not a hotel guest, you can enjoy the buffet for just EUR 55. Trust me, it's worth every penny. They have all the classic Italian delicacies beautifully displayed with such care – pastries, cheeses, spreads, fresh bread, dairy, and an array of fruits. It may not be the widest selection, but every single item is exquisite. I have to mention the pistachio-filled croissants; they are simply to die for! And the patio, adorned with fruit trees and charming tables, captures the essence of the dolce vita perfectly.

In summary, this hotel may come with a high price tag, but it delivers exactly what you would expect. If you're looking for a luxurious stay in the heart of Milan's fashion district, accompanied by a breakfast experience that will transport you to culinary heaven, I highly recommend giving it a try.
I’ve left a piece of me at this place. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much! Their attention to the smallest details made the place feels magical. Rooms are very well designed with very small details you would never imagine! I stayed at many other 5 stars hotel in Milan, Portrait was so special that no other place would feel the same! They really raised the 5 stars hotels standards with all the details they took care of!! The hotel is so cozy, it feels like home. The staff are very polite, attentive, and ready to help. I can’t express how satisfied I’m with my stay at Portrait!
Location is good. However just because you could restore a building doesn’t mean you should be in the hospitality business for 5 star hotel. The check-in staff are polite but they aren’t trained like 5 star hotels, not their fault at all. Also there is no water provided inside the room after check-in and no water is given daily during housekeeping. The only time they give you water is during turn down service. The lobby is cosy but perhaps they have no back room office for staff to use, it is used as their office with laptops so you don’t get to relax there unless you want to hang out with employees to listen to their phone conversations or operational matters. Bathroom door is also a hazard, keep your Swiss knife with you to pry open the door in case you get locked in as the door has no handle and gets faulty sometimes. Or do not close the bathroom door at all. They should re-examine all the doors and reconsider the design as somebody could get seriously hurt
Lunch in the restaurant was amazing. Each dish of the set menu was a standout. Highly recommended.
when I came back from a walk I went to drink water from the filter and the reception they didn't let me drink water from the filter, they told me that I should consume water from the minibar, detail I was with a child my daughter. Another point, the bathroom doesn't have a shower stall, it's a curtain, after the shower it the bathroom floods. The tax rate is accepted only in cash, at a time when any stall accepts cards. Absurd do not recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel with great service. Breakfast is either inside or in a nice courtyard. Breakfast is very good although coffee took a while to come. The gym is very nice in terms of aesthetics and equipment. I worked out every day because the gym was so nice. The room and bathroom were spacious but one could hear people in the hallway easily. I love how they kept free water bottles stocked in the room every day. The location was a short walk to the Spanish Steps or the Borghese Gardens.
It is hard to put in words the amazing experience We had in the new Portrait Milano hotel.
From the amazing stylish and elegant design of the rooms and public areas to the historical building architecture it all feels like a magical place. Breakfast is simply divine with out-of-this-world pastries. But above all this are the amazing lifestyle team, I simply have no words to describe how friendly they all are (thank you Erica & James for making us feel at home) it is them who make this hotel an amazing experience. It is very expensive hotel but you won't regret it.
You got my vote in next year Conde N’ast best hotel.

Restaurant experience: The food is horrible, the service is the worst … you have to wait a lot for a beverage or just for the food, or even to get the check!
Stuff is rude, especially the girl who give you a sit … the host, she is the first person in charge of your dinning experience.
Too expensive for what you get. You are here just paying for a great canal view that’s it! I expected more but I didn’t get it!
Really amazing property and fantastic menu! A must try if you are in the area 😋
To say this place was perfect is an understatement. Incredibly thoughtful and knowledgeable staff, beautifully appointed rooms and a delicious restaurant on the canal. Couldn’t ask for a more authentic & welcoming Venetian experience.

Had probably one of the best cocktails of my life.
Our booking on the rooftop pizza restaurant got rained out. But the staff were so welcoming and helpful. They did try to call us to let us know, but our phones weren't on roaming. So they got us a seat at the bar. Their cocktail menu is refined and exquisite. Had two cocktails and they were incredible, a real journey.

Special mention to the concierge and bar tender who served us on Monday 12th, excellent service.

Love it, love it! Everything is fabulous, the rooms, the service, the scene. Regardless if you love the products or the brand, spend a few nights here or come for dinner and drinks at the fab bar and terrace. Easy walk to the bulgari store or dome de Milan area.
We were both blown away by The Venice Venice Hotel. Superb location, beautiful building and incredible staff (especially John Marco!). We arrived by private water taxi, which meant we were greeted at the airport by someone who drove us to the port. The boat journey is around 25 minutes. We paid a little extra at the hotel and were given the “Grand Canal Room” which was just incredible, such great views of the main canal. The breakfast in the morning is decent, a large selection of pastries and then a choice of sweet or savoury dishes. We also ate in the restaurant one night too and while the views were excellent, the food was OK and we found the service a little unnecessarily rushed but a this was only a small issue. We felt so special staying at this hotel and would only ever stay here again on our next visit to Venice.

The area doesn't have many hotels so this can be chosen when you have nothing else left. The staff is good and hard working but the property is just as good as a hostel.

The room was fine. It’s modern and clean. The rooms are small but larger than most other European rooms. The hotel in general is trendy and not really meant for the retired folks traveling through or with family. They are very focused on their nightclub atmosphere and could care less that the music is so loud that their overnight patrons have to suffer. I mean really loud music. Their breakfast staff doesn’t check back with you and so your food may or may not arrive. You will not be asked if you need more coffee. So for 3 days in a row, we left with subpar service. Like I said above, this is a trendy and modern hotel but it is not luxurious nor elegant. There are issues with their quality of care unless you’re here to party. Then it’s probably a great hotel.

They gave us a room that could be open from outside . Explained this to the receptionist he was was everything ok , air conditioning was not working and I had to ask to make it work
It is magical staying here. Staff is attentive and friendly. Rooms are spacious comfortable and quiet. You feel as if you are in a quiet sanctuary in the middle of a busy and exciting neighborhood. My bet is this will keep improving as new venues are added. A real find!

Great location. Front desk service. Helpful in calling a taxi Bathroom small. Stall shower super small😬. Thankful for the elevator but if you are claustrophobic, you'll think twice about taking it. Great continental breakfast for 12 euros
Incredibly beautiful facilities in a former seminary, staff who go out of their way to help you and are each so kind - we stayed twice - on the front- and on the back-end of a trip to Piemonte - both of our rooms were so spacious, the beds were so comfortable, the rooms were completely quiet and the hotel is centrally located to everything we wanted to do - we really loved walking around the facilities from an architectural point of view and loved spending time each evening relaxing in the courtyard - I really don’t think we’d ever stay anywhere else in Milan after this experience. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us!
The Venice Venice hotel was one of our stops on our Italy tour, and it will be the main reason we will remember Venice so very fondly. The hotel is a modernized palace; the rooms and decor strike the perfect balance of living in a historical building but with modern commodities, and the staff (from lobby to room maids) were amazing. Alessandra at reception was incredibly patient and kind, and helped explain to us how transportation in Venice worked, and helped us coordinate transportation to get to Murano and Burano— along with taking care of every other need. The hotel is certainly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had and sets the standard for hospitality and service.

Terrific option for staying in the heart of Rome. The service all around was excellent, and the staff was all very friendly. The food was surprisingly good, including the breakfast which included a beautiful buffet and choice of Sicilian-influenced egg dishes from the kitchen. Room was small (typical of the city) but extremely comfortable and gorgeously decorated, and had everything one might need — including several little touches like extra toothbrushes and a steamer, which most hotels don’t have. The bathroom was luxurious and surprisingly large. Highly recommend if you want an upscale, comfortable, and very convenient hotel in Rome.
Although food was high quality and the restaurant looks nice, the service really made this an unpleasant experience. Waited 30 minutes from getting the check until we got up and payed without service approaching us. Not suitable for vegetarians.
Food ok. Service was bad. Also we had to wait over 20 minutes for paying.

You are here very close to where the beginning and end of the Silk Road took place- stepping into one of the oldest palaces still standing in Venice Venice the old meets the modern, enjoy the privilege to stay a stone throw away where the first stone was placed. The terrace is the gem for a fantastic dinner or a few cocktails, pricing isn’t higher than in other grand hotels in Venice. Top location amazing ambiance nice staff wonderful magic view, highly recommended.
I have tried several times to contact Bulgari Hotel Milano on their WhatsApp account listed on their website to make a reservation for the bar in April 2023. However, at first I get a reply, but every time after that I do not get a reply. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but this kind of problem never happens in other 5 star hotels. They could have called me if it was an error or something, but they never did.

Absolutely disgusting service. Booked twin room gave us a double. One of us couldnt slp as we arrived in city late and everywhere else was booked. I left my phone in room, hotel staff only returned it at a fee.
Reported them to the police. Have a dispute about the payment with my cc now as i want my money back.
Dont book these guys, book five miles out the city if u have to but not these guys. Unprofessional, rude and dishonest.

It was a great experience staying at Hotel Fellini. Many thanks especially to Diana for making our stay easier!
The location is good, easy to reach in 10 min walking distance Fontana di Trevi. The breakfast was also good. Great value for the money spent. I would definitely recommend and come back here!
I am a big fan of BVLGARI and I own a few bags and jewelry from this brand but I was deeply disappointed in their restaurant. This review regards their restaurant by Niko Romito but we got mixed feelings about this hotel in general.

Me and my husband wanted to start our wedding anniversary with breakfast at BVLGARI. When we approach hotel security told us to get trough the outside to the restaurant patio instead of letting us in trough the hotel lobby, probably because we are not hotel guests. OK.

We were greeted by waiters with very serious faces, nobody smiled. Everything was so stiff and sour that I was afraid to place my cup in the wrong spot because waiter would replace it lol. The place itself felt very snobbish. When I went to bathroom I almost was followed by the staff.

2 egg benedicts with alaskan salmon, coffee and detox juice cost us 100 euro, which I have no problem to pay if it's worth it. But breakfast was below mediocre. The eggs were cold, instead of english muffins was just round of white toast with 0 side dishes. Charging 34 per plate for "egg benedict". I think people in Milan maybe buy it but we have much better egg benedicts in USA. The size was absolutely unacceptable for 34 eur per plate, boring presentation and bland flavors.
Also detox juice for 18 eur absolutely absurd. They just put this prices because they can. It was nothing extraordinary in this food nor even presentation.

I give them credits for nice BVLGARI dessert with anniversary candle. That was very nice of them but overall experience was very bad because of service and food. Now I definitely know I wouldn't like to stay at this hotel if everything here is so snobbish. We stayed at many 5 star hotels in the world - Ritz, Fairmont, Four Seasons.... but this uncomfortable feeling I got for a very first time.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Fantastic out of the way customer service - rare anywhere in the world. Genuine hospitality.

Rooms are amazingly quiet. Double glazed glass keeps all the outside sound on the outside where it belongs. Rooms are small but not uncomfortably so. Good sized bathrooms.

BTW those windows OPEN FULLY. I love that. Being able to drink in the noise from below when you want to.

Great location- only 200 m or less to both Trevi and Spanish Stairs. A relatively easy 15 to Termini.
What a gem!! The service, the atmosphere, the food and the wine were all of the highest quality. Grazie mille a tutti x

I have traveled extensively through Europe by myself and guiding groups and I can say that my stay at Hotel Fellini was one of the best hotels I've stayed in to date.

The pickup service from the airport was affordable, punctual, and comfortable.

The location is fantastic. You are under 5 minutes from the Trevi Fountain, under 10 from Pantheon, 20 from Colosseum, and under 10 minutes from the Spanish Steps, all by foot.

The desk staff were friendly and helpful, though little help was needed as the hotel ran very smoothly. The service staff were excellent as well. Once, I forgot to ask for the room to be made up in the morning so I put my door sign out in the afternoon before running an errand. I returned only 15 minutes later to a perfectly cleaned and made room.

The outdoor seating provides a great way to relax outside in the evenings and the variety of stores and restaurants around made it easy to find a drink to enjoy on the terrace.

When I return to Rome, this will surely be the hotel I choose.
Amazing looking place, it sells itself. Unfortunately the staff knows this. They were not welcoming at all and opened the restraunt 45 minutes over time.
I have stayed several times at the hotel through the years from 2015 onwards. Tried its bar, garden services for breakfast, happy-hour and dinner. Rooms are superlative. Garden fully recommended for happy-hour drinks and dinner.
Restaurant menu and service has improved remarkably throughout the years. 5 star, my favourite Milan’s hotel.

Old building with some updates in the rooms. Rooms are clean. No fan in room and A/C is unusable at the time I stayed. Open window makes the room too loud for sound sleep especially rarly in the morning. Bed is not soft or comfortable. Breakfast is bare minimum .
Excellent staff, very good food and a very nice restaurant.
Good extensive wine list and decent prices.
The farm is very cosy and modernly equipped. The rooms are very traditional and on the small side but there are family cottages available.
The dining and wine experience is absolutely amazing. While the hotel is on the modest side of things, the restaurant is one of the best culinary experiences you can have in Italy.
Be prepared for cold rooms in the winter.
Great place - nice people - easy

My stay was excellent. I brought my own bed but it couldn't fit on the plane and it ended up making a hole through the plane so all the passengers flew out, and then it made a huge hole in the hotel door so sorry about that. Also thanks for the jar of toe nail clippings I found on the nightstand.

The rooms are small but clean. It's a place to stay when going to Venice. Learn that the air conditioner works in the summer in the future. Because he was not working in our room. Caring and interested employees. The windows in the rooms are very old, so the sound comes from outside.

Everything was fabulous. Food, wine, service, atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Great food. Great, friendly service.
Stinky, noisy rooms. Definetly don't recommend.

I came here with a group. Almost everyone said that there is a bed bugs, rooms smaller than in other hotels, and if you want to relax after hard day in bathroom then you are welcome to enjoy your shower. If you want to invite your friend to eat sandwiches in room in a day - it's impossible, rude director of this hotel started to threaten me with penalty because I made cold sandwich with salad in my room and wanted to let in a stranger who doesnt live in hotel.
Boring place, nothing to do around hotel, and even in hotel. Breakfast is just the same as people wrote before me. One ham, one cheese, one pan, milk and black coffee of bad quality (it's really bad fact for coffee lovers). If you want to drink cappuchino or espresso you have to pay for it.
Never again. And guys... Don't make other people's mistakes. Be wise and value your time away from home.

Terrible place, and deceiving reception.
We arrived at the hotel around 19h and the room was unbearably hot. The heater could not be regulated on the room, we informed the reception that they had a problem and they would shut the general key, and for us to leave the window opened, we left and let the window opened, when we returned around 23h the room was still very very hot, impossible to stay in, and once again they said that they would shut down the general key an nothing this kept going until around 01h, when we said we were leaving the hotel, so they changed our room to a bigger one but it still was hot, but since it was bigger, the heat was bearable, and we opened the window to sleep. We felt deceived and we wanted to rest, which did not happened.
clean and cosy room. beautiful home made italian breakfast
The food was great and abundant. The location is really nice and beautiful
Lunch in the garden by the pool. Hidden away in barbaresco village near aulla
A must if you are in the area. Great food and an excellent wine selection.
The Wi-fi connection is not really good. The room is clean.the bathroom is also clean but the elevator is so small. We mostly used the stairs. It is a small hotel. The breakfast area is really small and the tables are very small for 4 people. the staff is really kind.
I've been there for a marriage.Service was good. I've requested the cicken to cook the dinner for my little baby and they'll fulfill it. We've also have a good time near the swimming pool that's next the building.
i went to with a group and i was very tired.i relaxed. beds and bathrooms are very good👌

Bed bugs, no hot water, toilet would not flush, and our door would not lock and kept creeping open.

When I asked the owner about these issues he said "is not possible". He gave no apologies and even degraded my spouse to his coworker. Later, when we came back, the hotel lobby was locked and closed and we could not get in to the hotel or our room. We waited for 45 minutes in 32 degree weather for someone to come, again, we were given no apologies. This hotel is not open 24 hours as they claim.

We spent one night and then left, did not stay the rest of our reservation. I asked for to be reimbursed for the nights we would not stay given the circumstances and the owner said no and yelled at us.

The worst part was - we brought our issues to the owner and not only did he not apologize but he yelled at us!

Do not stay here!
Fantastic beautiful agriturismo. Poolside bar. Super polite staff. The food was some of the best we've eaten in Italy. Save some room in your car, as you will also probably want to bring home a case of their wine.

Nice large rooms, and an unexpected surprise for Italy, the AC worked perfectly.

My only regret was only staying a night here.
Lovely rustic Inn with great food!
Nice place to eat in Barbarasco or Tresana. Opened at the week days. Huge garden outside, huge halls inside.

Stuff are very friendly. Food is perfect. Prices are good, except wine (they only offered the bottled wine from 10€ - no house wine).

A great little old school hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I would stay here again. And the rooms were very affordable. Located in the downtown area. A great location. Only downside is limited parking. So you most likely will have to park on the street behind the hotel. I didn't have any problems. And the area seemed very safe.

I really LOVED Verona. Such a charming city.
