worst agents engaged - giving a one-star rating is considered lenient. ridiculously charged 'premium fees'

Came here for my Australian visa biometrics (this is the correct place, don’t go to VFS global on Anson street!).
UPDATE
After reading the terrible reviews and dreading my visit, I’m actually impressed at my second visit for my biometrics appointment so I’m adding a star. It helps to bring the hard copy referral and appointment letters to avoid paying for their printing service (it’s easy to find cheap printing services around singapore). My appointment time was 1145am but I arrived 20 minutes early, expected a long wait but there was no queue and I got in quickly. I was called to the counter in just 1 minute, showed my letters and passport, and was given the option to pay by cash or nets (don’t think credit card is accepted). I was called to the biometrics room real fast and was out and done by 1142am, before my actual appointment time! It’s just slightly annoying that they don’t notify you when they have sent the necessary to the country, but they told me it would be done in 24 hours. I just have to trust that it will be done.
——————————————-
The fee is $47 for the biometrics if you have an online appointment, plus an extra $32 if you don’t have an online appointment.
Unfortunately the system is against you because the website hasn’t been working since last night, so there was no way I could create an account to book an appointment myself (I tried multiple times over a few hours using different browsers and devices - still can’t work)! I went to get help with booking an appointment - the security staff can’t help me and could only advise me about the different fees, so I went in and waited about 5 min before I got called to the counter. The staff was helpful but they found that the website wasn’t working for them either, and they had to do a backend manual booking for me. For some reason, this method actually has less flexibility because the staff did not check with me what my available dates are, and booked a date and time that I wasn’t available - when I asked if I could change it, they said they’re unable to change it on their end because they are given only one option (the earliest next available appointment) and need to pick that, and I’m also unable to change the date and time myself since their website wasn’t working (even the staff was completely helpless in this exchange, they had no idea why the website wasn’t working).
So although the staff were prompt in serving me and getting things done when I was there, the user experience and efficiency isn’t great. The website needs to be fixed, flexibility of dates for the staff inside needs to be provided, and solutions for changing dates and times are non-existent. I saved $32 by not spending on the walk-in fee, but also spent an extra two hours or so in commuting time.

Pretty well organized, went there in the morning around 8:45 for an 8:30 biometrics appointment for Australia, entered without issue.
Accepts NETS or cash, no credit cards iirc. Biometrics process was fairly straightforward and smooth. Getting charged 47 SGD is not a vibe but I guess no choice.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Visa center. I arrived on a Wednesday, at half past 1 pm and there was absolutely no queue; as soon as I registered for a number I was called on a counter. The staff was extremely nice, efficient and understanding, big shoutout to the printer responsible who was very pleasant and smiling !
No waiting whatsoever, the office is very confortable and clean, 5/5 experience !!

The lady working in counter 18 today 23-11-2023 2pm for visa collection. Very bad attitude, face is black. She throw my passport and the receipt on the desk and give fed up face. Ps: i just met here for 5sec and havent even talked to her.
My point is.. if you dont want to work. Let other people take over your job. So unhappy, why still work there? Quit la. Worse customer service i have ever encountered in whole singapore.

Horrible services. On the website it shows open at 8, came in at 7:50am and they are not opening the services and kept everyone waiting till 8:30 without any explanation. Then come in, only two counters for the UK visa open and they are not taking applicants and we are sitting for another 15 - 20 mins till they finish chatting and greeting. Then when they call your number is not in order, people behind you got called and processed. Another 30-40 mins waiting and you cannot work cause laptop is not allowed.
In summary, if you wanna get visa application here. Be prepared to wait for 90 mins or more to get the services. Of course there is options where you may additional couple of hundreds to get “expressed services”.
Overall, horrible horrible services.

All onsite staff and call center agents are professional and friendly. 1st visit for Canada biometrics was a good experience. But the website was quite confusing - the given photo size is wrong and worst of all they didn't mention the biometrics receipt among the required documents for passport submission. Cost me one trip in vain and wasted my time. Staff also didn't mention courier service and SMS tracking were optional and directly asked me to pay - if it wasn't for calling customer service before hand I would have spent extra unnecessary money

They ask me to resubmit the same document 4th times, I also tell them to just submit my original document. it has been 3 weeks and my visa still not submit. My colleague who submit the visa application himself got his visa in 3 days.
pay extra for CIBT for longer turnaround time.

CIBT is by far the worst visa service I have ever used. And the staff has been incredibly unreasonable to the point where I have to contact the embassy myself to get clarification on the documents needed for the application. I will never recommend this service to anyone and will never use the service again.

China visa center from 23/10 no need appointment to apply visa, we come early at 9am, got number 87, very smooth, and efficient, we spent 1 and half hour done submission and made payment $111 for single entry, need to collect visa after 3 working days.

Came on thursday 11am, abt 2.5hrs waiting time for submission.
Smooth flow if follow everything on the website.
Appointment at 11am, I came at 1050am, start queueing, waited for 2hrs and finally got to submit my application arnd 1pm. Then wait for another 20 mins for payment.
The staff alrd told me waiting time is abt 2 hrs when i start queue-ing tho. So i got to go for lunch in between. Good that Lao Pa Sat is nearby.
The queue number is consistent and predictable, so i'll know when is my turn.
There is vending machine and photobooth here.
Altho, photo is useless, i brought mine and staff said not needed.
Fuss free collection.
Can collect from Tuesday, the next week.
I came on Wed 1040am, queue at counter for abt 15 mins and collect.

If possible, please avoid to schedule an appointment slot on a Monday. I spent 3 hours waiting just for the submission. My appointment was scheduled at 11am-12pm, upon arrive, the front desk will issue you a Q number to wait. There are 73 people ahead of me still waiting for theirs turn. I guessed many people wants to collect their passport within the week, hence most people come here on a Monday. One of my friend came down on a Friday, waiting time only 30minutes. Also, the speed of service was inconsistent. From 11:30am-1:30pm, calling of Q number was pretty slow. Each number takes at least 5mins to jump. However, after 1:30pm, they suddenly speed up. Within 1 minute they can call multiple Q numbers. Bet most of the staff went out for lunch. Also, please get ready everything:
1) original Passport
2) photocopy of passport information page
3) proof of resident (photocopy of re-entry permit, FIN)
4) flight booking
5) Hotel booking
6) appointment booking evidence
7) print out of application form that submitted online
Photocopy service cost 50cent each, have to insert coins. Printing service cost $1 per print. You have to email to their Gmail, so that they can print out for you. I booked first 5 days of my accomodation (hotel), as I will go to different city for my 10 days in China. Hence, I have not book next 4 nights of hotel. The counter staff insisted that I must have the hotel confirmation of entire trip. She even said, just for the sake to show, I can cancel my booking right after submission. I feel its really pointless to demand for it since you know people may just provide fake booking. Also, their SOP are different, my friend submitted her application one week before, but the staff did not request for her flight nor hotel booking information. Very misleading. Payment only can be done via Cash or Paynow. I'm worried online banking will down again, hence I brought cash. If you submit on a Monday, collection will be Thursday (for normal speed application 4 working days). If you submit on a Fri, collection will be on next Wed. Both submission & collection day are counted as the working day. I hope these information helps.

Agents were professional and no comments or complaints on the service itself. But mind U if by any chance U forget to bring any printouts, be ready to be penalised and pay SGD10 for the kiosk charges to use printer and SGD 2 as print charges per page.
I feel the company is milking the situation and charging exorbitant charges.
Not the least the courier charges are skyrocketing SGD19 per passport, even if U apply as a group. The intention clearly is not to make the process efficient but just milk the situation from hapless and helpless people who don't want to waste another day of thier work off.
I hope the embassies take note of these loots happening under their noses, tarnishing the experience. I hope the embassy takes cognisance of these feedbacks to improve the user experience and make the process more efficient.

Staff at counter is rude and they look for every opportunity to make extra money, I had visited them for Canada visa.
They insist to avail additional services on pretext that the process will be faster, whereas there is no need for it, timing depends on the embassy.
They have forgot they are just admin staff and not visa consulars.

I signed up for CIBT premium visa services to get the visa done for a country due to an urgent travel requirement. However, after filling out the details online I waited for more than a day and after no one called I decided to call them. Finally I got the list of documents and I responded back by next day with available documents. I had queries on few documents so I asked them to provide more details (again .. I reached out). When I got the document, they said its not to going to work. So, this time I reached out to another agency and they confirmed that the document is okay and it will work. So, I submitted the application by myself and got the visa. But for 2 calls and 2 emails I paid $400+ which also translated into loss of 3-4 days and rescheduling of my travel plans. When they last reached out to me over email, I told that I got the visa with the same document and respectfully shared my feedback to make necessary changes in their process. But their response to the feedback was even bit aggressive. Overall, an interesting experience, I learned my lesson. I would avoid any visa service company going forward.

5 stars if your documents have no problems. Officer is nice and explains everything clearly. Biometrics guy is also very friendly.
2 stars if your documents have problems. Officer tells you to use the desktop $10 to log into your email and to use the scanner $2 to print out one page that’s funky.
Sometimes I feel like they just want to milk money off unsuspecting and desperate people. Shame on them. Be careful that your barcodes print correctly or you’ll incur >$10 to reprint / come back another day with another appointment.

Thanks to reviews here, managed to understand the process better & cut short time taken to apply. Visit online website to fill up the application (abt 10 sections), make the appointment (next day is possible). I queued this morning at 815am, the office opened at 830am, 8th in-line with an appointment, 9am at the counter, 910am paid $86. Passport will be ready in 7 days. Smooth application overall :)
** Save your completed online form application in your cloud storage in case you need to print again due to issues. There is a counter you can email your copy to be printed. Per page $1.

I have 10+ experience work in Singapore

Poor and disorganised.
1. Sent me a date(5-May) to visit the China Visa centre on 3-May-2023
2. Sent me an email on 4-May-2023 7:30 pm to make last min changes to 8-May
3. Reach embassy 15mins before the stipulated time and there's no clear CIBT queue or agent to attend to us.
4. Wait for other agencies to complete their queue before finally coming to CIBT.
5. in total spend 2.5hours at the embassy after paying for 500+SGD.
6. Took my passport and old passport, but only returned my new passport.
7. Need to call the hotline, waiting for 40mins to agent to pick up.
8. Finally arrange a courier to return my old passport, but charged me 27SGD for courier fee. WTH, charging customer for their mistake.
Avoid at all cost. Many agencies out there which is cheaper and better.

Kudos to the efforts of the staff to deal with the surge in China visa applications and they even released 8.30am appointment slots for booking which is by right before their working hours. I reached 10min before my appointment time and was greeted by a long queue at the registration counter but it moved very fast. Subsequently there were 15 counters (most are open) to process the applications. I forgot to make a photocopy of my passport and went to the copier machine to do so, paid 50c and it printed out a white sheet 🤣 I went to another copier where a staff is operating it and she claimed I didn't know how to use the copier machine (it's impossible since I deal with printed documentation a lot in my work) and not because the copier ran out of ink... And she collected another 50c. One passport copy for $1 so please remember to do that lol

The lousiest service i have ever had. When i submitted my China visa application on 5th May, i indicated that I need to collect the visa by 16th May. There was no indication at all (or even a warning message) from them it is not impossible (even though when i tried to do it personally, the earliest appointment date was already scheduled till June). After submission of application form, apart from a system email asking to furnish missing documents, there is no email or phone calls since then to update about the status. Went on their website and it still indicates the documents are still with them although all the documents have been submitted 1 week ago. Only when call them today (which i had waited for more than 20 minutes for my call to be attended) and ask about the status and then they said can only get appointment in early June. When I said i want to cancel and ask for refund, they said the $270 service fee still applies for reviewing my documents. Saw so poor reviews before i submitted mine. This type of visa agency should not exist in Singapore anymore.

Staff was utterly unprofessional and rude, hastily asking questions while not being able to answer questions themselves. Building itself, the entrance, the lift look like they belong in some warehouse in remote area.
Queues were long and initial reception area was chaotic. Hard to imagine anything gets done here efficiently.
Overall, unbefitting for an embassy related entity. One of the worst in memories.

Horrible service with premium prices. Rude agents. Kept you waiting on the executive line for more than 20mins. Very slow in email responses. A few visas got rejected/corrected as applicant missed out some fields. CIBT was supposed to check our documents carefully. Guided consultants (that we paid for) in the visa office wasn't any help at all. Did not control the crowd and line them up. Just ask applicants to manage on their own. Only used them as them as the company has a corporate account. Good news is my company will not be using them any longer. They lost a customer.

Been here for UK Skill Worker visa.
Reaching the place by MRT: Get down at Telok Ayer, exit via A & need to walk about 5mins. VFS office is in 8th Floor of the Building.
Passport/Biometrics submission: VFS Singapore office have 6 counters for the UK (Counter 12-17).
If you have submitted UKVI application & uploaded documents already, you need to declare the documents were uploaded. Staff at the counter will try to sell as many services to you, as he can 😜
After you Declare on application form/pay for services, you will be asked to wait for Biometrics submission. Biometrics will be done immediately.
Total time I spent for Passport submission: 12mins.
I opted for SMS service & got a message that Visa is processed within 1week of Submission. I went through Standard service only.
Passport Collection: Document collection is 2-4PM after you receive information that the visa is processed.
Brace yourself, there will be long queue for passport Collection & they had only 1counter for delivering the document back. Depending on the number of people came to collect, they should atleast have 3 counters. Not sure if the staff is limited.
I spent ~45mins to collect the document back.
Screen displaying the token number was on top of counter 12, which will not be visible to all people waiting. So need to check the screen at regular intervals.
Overall it's a good experience.
Standard Service for UK Skilled Worker Visa Submission:
Passport submitted: 23rd March
Visa Processed Message/Passport Collection: 30th March.
I don't see any need for opting Premium/Express services as timeline is same for both standard, premium.

Friendly staff, easy process and Low waiting time if we show up on the allotted time.

I dropped off the passport and everything here. Good service. Expensive , but it is corporate travel agent, you can expect that. You need to look for 135 Cecil street blue color neon lights, next to state bank of india bank. It is on level 7 of MYP tower. Need badge for lift.
