I went in to make a deposit was speaking with a teller by the name Jasmine hands down best customer service I ever received from this location in a long time. She was very knowledgeable of the banking materials. Will be referring my family to the bank.

Difficult to handle my request to a person that was not very sympathetic.
Very disasfied with the security system to access my account on my phone.
The authentication app gives me a code. I enter the code and it says it's incorrect. No matter how fast I do this. Then it blocks my account after 3 tries.
I cannot access my account when I travel. My phone number cannot be used outside Chile, where I live.
Would like to verify it's me via email instead.
While I can say that the staff are cordial in-person, the Credit Union operates inefficiently and has lackluster customer service availability. The staff is regularly unavailable via phone or email to redress issues during business hours. Members of the Credit Union may receive funds into their our accounts on Thursday and/or Friday, while the Credit Union within 12 hours of money being received will post that their network is down for undisclosed periods of time. This leaves individuals with money in their accounts, which remain inaccessible via debit card or transfer until the following week. The main branch is cashless so when one wants to transfer funds or retrieve funds directly and to open another account, one will never receive cash at the main branch but a branch check. These are important things to consider in the long-run for someone seeking to have a credit union account in addition to their regular bank accounts. This may not be the best credit union to accomplish that specific goal.
This place is an joke, How you get paid on an thursday and can't get your money because they system is down AGAIN!!!!! I going to take my $5.00 out and put in another place(in my backyard in a can) Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
Customer service was fast and fabulous. The website is also wonderful to navigate. Looking forward to using my new accounts and services with the IDB Global FCU

Customer service is top notch, and the rates are best in the area. The rating should be much higher than what it is now.
This place will steal your money in overdraft fees. When overdraft fees are illegal. I did get a good auto loan when they had employees that cared. I can not Tell you the slime and stealing in this place please go elsewhere if you value your money..... Thieves, and have no care about the customers unless they can steal from you. 👹
Let me start off saying, i was so thankful to be assisted by Loan Processor Jayson S dela Paz. He was so patience, knowledgeable and kind. He really advocate for me to get the best deal for my auto loan. Best customer service i have seen in a long time. Very professional and efficient.

***STAY AWAY FROM SPECTRA CREDIT UNION***This company is a complete clown show. They apparently took over other lending companies and didn't tell anyone THEY are the new lender. They call you with a strange unknown name, but won't say who they took over. I think they are Purposely acting like scammers so you block them, and then jack up your credit and fine you when you miss your 1st payment. VERY SHADY COMPANY

I go in here a few times a year and the rules seem to differ every time depending on who you talk to. Some of the tellers are extremely rude on repeated occasions, it's honestly ridiculous. Same teller did something for me last time just told me they don't do that a little more than a month later. Make up your mind and maybe be friendly and smile ever.
Getting a hold of anyone at this credit union is impossible,the website says they close at 5 pm when in called come to find out they close at 4 pm ,I was calling to resolve a minor issue in my account don't see how this place is still around i go online to transfer money from my savings to my checking and I see a $5.00 transfer fee does this new CEO even care does he even look at these reviews what a clown show when Cathy was CEO at least she would connect people with issues it's a joke of a place

Having an unbelievable difficult time accessing my money and they've said they have been on the phone for 3 hours and counting trying to understand how to fix it. We will see if they figure this out cuz I'll have to come back and change this

Recently I requested a credit card with the IDB Global FCU, not having a credit history in the United States was not an issue, the person that assisted me with the process was very friendly and knowledgeable, and she let me know the product and my credit limits. I received the credit card within the time that the person told me, the rate is good and now I am building my credit history. I recommend their services.
I've been avoiding writing a negative review for a while but the online customer service is bad. Waited for 37 minutes to be told a check didn't go through. The person who answered this issue speaks so fast you can barely understand what's said. And if you make a mistake you have to go to the DC office to deposit IN PERSON or send them the check by mail, which it will take at least 2 weeks to be available in your account. Additionally, my debit card has been hacked 3 times this year, I had to order 3 new debit cards just in 2022, with the usual impact on payments I had with those cards. The phone menu doesn't give you any clear instructions on where you have to go with this issue (the option is "Account" in case it happens to you) but they don't solve the problem. The last time I had this problem was a week ago when I tried to order through Instacart, an app I've been using for at least 4 years. Still waiting for my debit card to arrive. Unacceptable.
Website says it opens at 8am. It's 8:15 am and doors are not opened. There are no operational hrs posted on their doors.

The customer service is on point. The representatives are always very pleasant. I have banked with the credit union for 9 years now and have not had a problem until recently; outside of the antiquated mobile app and online accessibility that didn't allow you to transfer to outside banks. Now all of that has changed and i cant seem to get a call back from anyone in the loan department or management for that matter. I have called on multiple occasion and have gotten an endlessly ringing phone. I will say the plus is that the representatives that try their hardest to get my to a representative are always so nice when they tell me that someone will call me back and it never happens. Its like they made one major improvement and created another problem.

I've worked with CCFCU for several loans, they've always been accommodating and pleasant. Christine helped most recently when I needed some additional assistance in a home sale/closing I was dealing with and kept it on track.
I've been a member for 36 years and have no complaints whatsoever.

This bank is just awful in customer service. Things that should be routine are so difficult here. In the last couple of months, I've had payments that I tried to make, transferred to someone else's account, I've had my online banking access taken away (though it's not very good in the first place), I've been told that I can't do anything about my CD account until the day it matures, which happened to be a Saturday they were closed of course. And through all these issues, every time I've called member services, all i get is the voicemail, yet no one calls me back. I've sent e-mails that the website says I should contact, yet no reply to those either.

My suggestion is just avoid this bank. Their rates are pretty good but it's not worth the hassle and poor service.

WHAT TYPE OF BANK SENDS THERE CUSTOMERS TO THE MANAGERS VOICE MAIL. THEN THE MANAGER CALLS YOU BACK DAYS LATER . THESE PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDLING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. AlSO I WAS APPROVED FOR A CAR LOAN AFER READING THERE TERMS OF AGREEMENT AND I CALCULATED MY COST MY INTEREST RATE IT WAS VERY HIGH I HAVE GOOD CREDIT 790 IS MY SCORE. ITS NOT THE GREATEST SCORE BUT THEY COULD DO BETTER. I THOUGHT CREDIT UNIONS HAVE BETTER RATES. I JUST SHOULD OF APPLIED A TD BANK BECAUSE THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE.
The rates are pretty good. However, they do NOT offer bi-weekly loan payments! They will withdraw from your account bi-weekly and apply the once a month payment to the loan. You also can not make a bi-weekly payment to the loan on your own to knock down the principle and interest. I was told “we’re not set up that way” thumbs down on this...
Convenient for those downtown.

The bank its self is amazing. Great people most of the time. However I had ran into some descrepinsies and called the bank. I spoke with a woman who was extremely rude, cutting me off and not listening to my concern. She began pointing her finger at me and the vendor I was having these issues with. Instead of trying to help me, I decided to dig myself. Come to find out, all it was was a simple mistake that could have easily been resolved with a little effort. It was only the fact that the bank didnt do transactions through weekends. That's it....so vary unhappy with the help I recieved that day from this bank. Just a little patients and good customer serve would have solved this issue and I would have been a much happier customer. I mean...it is their job!
this is the worst credit union they dont answer the phone at all.they are close Sunday and Monday and no customer service when i enter the branch.

The area and promptness in person to handle banking is ok. As far as online, beware there are technical issues that can place you in a jam.
Old and outdated online. Pepco FCU is hard to contact and have oveedrafted my account twice without reason. There are some nice people who work there, but the bank practices cause errors are old and not user friendly.
I love the Library of Congress Credit UNION!! First I have to say that people must understand that the hours may not be like a traditional bank but also in the same regard the policies aren't like traditional banks either which benefits the members. LCFCU has some of the LOWEST loan rates on the market especially for car loans. Not only are the rates low but LCFCU believes in second chance credit. I have recommended LCFCU to several friends and family members and despite subpar credit LCFCU gave these folks a chance and gave them loans at some of the lowest rates despite them being turned down by traditional banks. At 21 years old and a college student LCFCU took a chance on me despite my lack of a credit history and gave me a loan to purchase my first car at a SUPER low rate. That was over 10 years ago and ever since I wont go anywhere else for car loans but to LCFCU. The staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile and speaks kindly over the phone. Only downside is that they aren't super fast in the technology area. I will say they are constantly working on improving their technology to allow members to do more things online and via the apps which I do give an A for effort :). In short if you're looking for a Credit Union and you can qualify try your hand with LCFCU!
Pros:
-Great interest rates
-Improved Customer Service

Cons:
-No internal transferring mechanism- everything is kind of old school. To do a $ transfer between members. you have to sign and scan or fax a signed document to the CU. Would like to see an in-app service to accommodate this function.
-They close at 3:30pm and are only open mon-fri with no access to customer service or support. So, basically you're SOL if anything happens outside of that time frame.
I have been a member of EPFCU for over 10 years. I am in good standing with the credit union- no NSF fees or returned checks. Recently the branch manager, Tia, decided to revoke my debit card privileges. I called several times to ALL LOCATIONS to contact her. For over a week I was told "she's not available and there's nothing we can do to help you." How horrible! I couldn't be more upset. I pay all of my bills via this account. I even had to drive 15 miles out of my way to go to one of the location just to withdraw cash. While there, I requested a new card. Because I never received the card, I contacted the main office where Tia informed me that she would consider giving me back my card privileges with good behavior. I didn't argue with her. I simply replied, "ok". Not liking a person does not give her the right to abuse or mis-use her "authority".
My rating is only about access at this location which is restricted to federal employees only. It would be helpful to note this fact in the description, as it might save a Commonwealth One customer time and money. Parking is not free at this location. Overall, I have been well served by Commonwealth One.
Bad first time experience at the LOC credit union. Was not greeted by the secretary Karla. Karla was too busy talking to her friend for 10 minutes straight. Went to find another associate to answer my question. Shannon was nice and wanted my business. Gave me the rght information promptly.
Steer clear I don't know about the branches the online is horrible you can't get into your account and you won't be able to do anything so it would be a waste of time unless you like that! websites load forever I couldn't use my phone to apply I keep getting error messages when I want to message them I get failed messages when I want to sign up for online bill pay this is an old-fashioned company waste of time I'm glad it's free that's all I get GOD bless!
I usually come to this location and right when I really need to go to COFCU and then told that only GAO members can only go here. Frustrating.
I drove 25mins to get here, paid $4.00 in parking to be told its only available to the employees that work for GAO. Next closest location is 20 mins away.

Local power company. So-so on clean energy. OK but questionable on rates. Great if you have underground lines; notorious if you have above-ground lines. Lobbying ethics not held in high regard. Almost certainly not named for Pepé Le Pew. 2/5

This Credit union only refreshes they're computer once a day at twelve midnight also the wait time on a check to clear took me three weeks even though i had an account with my girlfriend. Also the tellers pick and choose whom they want to be friendly too i call up to check a balance on my account and i get a snide tone or sarcasm a lot of the time. If you are in the area of this financial institution you would be better off keeping your money in your pocket or else they will keep it on hold. This CU also is not open on Saturday's and makes it hard to go shopping on weekends.
