I was not aware of this venu and it was my first time there for a event. The area is a golf course and has a good size tent style structure for events. A parking lot is available.

Dan the Cakeman is a delight to work with. His knowledge and expertise makes ordering a breeze!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Alex with Alexandra Nesterak Events for an event to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. We provided our restroom trailer for this event. From the time that Alex reached out about the restroom to the breakdown of the event, she was nothing short of amazing. She was responsive to our emails, organized, and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We would highly recommend her for any event that you are hosting.

The Tiny Wedding Shop did an amazing job with our micro wedding, helped us set up a beautiful ceremony. For the parts of the wedding that they provided, the photographer, the florist, the cake shop, and the day of coordinator were all top notch. And for the parts that they were on us to set up, they had great recommendations. We just got our photos back and Bekah did an amazing job, we couldn't be happier.

Grass driving range to hit off 95% of the days of the year. Better than hitting off matts. Range lacks aesthetics but at least some flags to aim at.

Planning our wedding through The Tiny Wedding Shop was the best decision we could have made. Lauren was our biggest cheerleader and support as we prepared for the big day (in such a low key, easy, everything is done for you way).

Our day of coordinator, Kristin was phenomenal. She brought such a great energy to the day. She was hyped for us, helped calm any nerves, and was my right hand all day.

Our flowers from Brooke with Stem and Thistle were beyond my wildest dreams. She took our vision of rainbow to the next level and created a stunning bouquet, floral collar for our dog (the star of the show), and boutonnière. She was onsite to hand off the bouquet and was so lovely and excited as well. The team truly brought the best energy to the day!

Margarita was phenomenal and we can’t wait to see the final photos (with such a quick turnaround too!). She is uber professional, as chill as you want your photographer to be, and so helpful in guiding two unphotogenic people lol!

The cake from buttercream bake shop was gorgeous and truly the best wedding cake I’ve ever tasted.

Every detail was perfect at the most insanely affordable price for all that you get from the TWS team. Cannot recommend highly enough! I had the best day with zero stress thanks to them ❤️

Our wedding planning experience was awesome once we knew what we were doing. The Tiny Wedding Shop took care of us and gave us the best photographer, celebrant, venue, florist, day of coordinator, and most delicious cake we could have ever dreamed of. Things that would normally take weeks to months to find, they had them ready to go for us. It was a laid back experience and took the pressure of planning a wedding off of us. Before them, wedding planning was so disheartening. They gave us the best of the best. Kristen, our day of coordinator, treated us like royalty. I was constantly impressed with how she paid attention to detail. Even helping me with my veil since I had no idea what I was doing. She stayed outside with us in the rain while we waited for our Uber and that was just so sweet of her.

The Tiny Wedding Shop gave us the wedding we never thought would be possible on a limited budget. Lauren and Kristen made the experience stress-free and provided us with incredible professionals in our photographer, florist, and officiant. We almost thought their service was too good to be true when we discovered it but it was everything we could have hoped for and more. If you're looking for your perfect wedding day and want to have a smaller, intimate ceremony, you won't find a better option than The Tiny Wedding Shop.

We can't say enough good things about the Tiny Wedding Team. They were exactly what we needed. My husband and I didn't have time to plan every detail of the wedding including find the florist and photographer, but it was so easy with the Tiny Wedding Team.

We sent Lauren a picture of our wedding invite (wild/spring flowers). My bouquet, the flower cuffs, boutonnières, and floral arrangements were so beautiful and exactly on point. Erik and I couldn't stop marveling over the flowers.

For the ceremony my step dad accidentally took a Lyft to NW instead of NE and started much later than expected -- but our day of planner was cool and unflappable.

We also loved, loved, loved our pictures. I wasn't sure what to expect given we hadn't met Jenny before, but we did fill out a questionnaire. She captured our family and our day beautifully. We have so many wonderful photos of our marriage.

The entire Tiny Wedding Shop team was an absolute dream to work with. I was NOT into being a bride. Planning a wedding gave me so much anxiety but thankfully, Lauren was sweet, patient, and super organized. She helped guide me through the entire process and even went above and beyond to make sure that everything with the venue was taken care of (note, make sure you have chairs rented before the day you get married!). And then, months later, I lost all of my wedding photos due to a technical issue. When I messaged Lauren late at night in the middle of a panic attack to see if there was any way they could recover my photos, she replied right away (even though she was out of town and it was almost midnight!). She really does go above and beyond for her brides.

The entire team at TWS was so amazing and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the DMV. I could not say enough about the vendors they connected us to, our officiant, and the location we got to choose.

Hiring Alexandra Nesterak Events was, hands down, the best investment we made for our wedding. While I had a clear vision in my mind of what I wanted for our day, I didn't have a clue on how to make any of it happen. Then Alexandra, ANE’s lead planner, came along. It wasn't until working with her that I realized my Pinterest wedding dreams could come true and happen in real life. And they did, and then some because she is SO creative. In addition to curating the absolute dream team of vendors that aligned with the romantic, traditional but with a twist of coastal and chinoiserie vibes we were envisioning, she kept the process organized, stress-free, and — seriously — so much fun. The only person who cares about details more than I do is Alexandra. I never had to worry about a thing, because if she knew about it, it was handled. From keeping me on track with payments and tasks, to putting together my invitation suites and mailing them out, or prepping our hotel welcome boxes, there was no task that was too big or too small for the ANE team. Beyond being incredibly talented and resourceful, Alexandra is kind, passionate, and the type of person you want to surround yourself with in both a friendly and professional setting, which makes her the most perfect wedding planner. Just like us, our parents, family, and wedding party adored her and her team. Our wedding last March was truly the most beautiful, perfect day of our lives because of Alexandra. Guests are still talking about the details of the weekend, all which never would have happened without her. I would go back in time and hire ANE a dozen times over. My husband and I found the Tiny Wedding shop when we decided we wanted to have our wedding in DC and it was the best decision we have ever made. Lauren was super communicative throughout the whole process. The day went so smoothly. We got married at the DC war memorial on the most perfect day, Renee kept all of the tourists away and everything was a dream from the moment I showed up and saw my husband standing at the base of the monument. The flowers were gorgeous and I couldn’t have picked better flowers myself, the cake was AMAZING, and the champagne toast was incredible. We had 50 guests and they had the best time. Our photos are incredible too, finding and booking the Tiny Wedding shop was the best decision, other than marrying my husband of course ;)

Husband and I met one of my high school classmates for lunch the other day. I had their cheeseburger with a side salad. Husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Food was delish. I must have been very hungry, as I ate the whole cheeseburger. I usually can only eat half of it.

Fairview Metropolitan is a golf club with shop (golf supplies) and a dining area. It also is a venue for special occasions - outdoor weddings and receptions, retirement parties, class reunions.

They have package deals for those special occasions. There is an onsite employee who is very helpful in making arrangements for the package deals.

Several years ago, my husband and I attended a retirement party for a friend. The dinner was buffet style, and everything that we had eaten was great. They had a deejay for those of us wanted to get up and get down on the dance floor.

Wow , take some pride. Dirty linens on tables dirty , stains in carpet didn't bother to vacuum for event. Planners disappeared. Dirty dishes left on chargers the whole wedding. Gold chairs were filthy. Nothing was cleaned from previous use. Price isnt that cheap to compensate for the dirty facility. Just a disappointment all around. Food disappeared and had alot of missing guest. Wrong cake was cut for the wedding. Vegan cake was for the groom that was the cake cut for the whole party. Black stains on table cloths. No table linens were pressed . Just disappointed due to previous wedding at other venues. I cant comprehend where anything over 2 stars . 4.7 is absurd. Much better venues and locations available. .

From the first conversation discussing our wedding to the day of she was fully prepared and handled everything so professionally ensuring my wife and I truly enjoyed our wedding and soaked everything in. Stephanie was absolutely professional throughout our wedding planning process. The app she has for keeping track of every detail of planning and communicating on ideas was so helpful and kept me sane. She was excited when we came up with different detail ideas, reminded us of things I never would’ve thought to consider (like when to get our marriage license), and made me feel so much better to know she’d make sure everything was handled the day-of.

We loved having Veronica as our wedding planner. She made the experience seamless and no matter what transpired, we always knew that Veronica was there to solve any issues that may arise. There was minimal stress in the wedding planning process with Veronica as our planner. She knows many vendors and always offered suggestions that would only enhance our day. We would book Veronica a million times over!

Fantastic team of kind, caring and incredibly capable planners! Alex is a talented designer and also a master of directing and organizing a wedding day. It's honestly hard to find someone who is so good at both - I cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

We cannot thank Stephanie at SRS events enough for helping us plan the most beautiful wedding and best day of our lives! When we began planning our DC wedding, we were living in Hawaii and had no idea where to start - both working busy jobs & not going into planning with a vision of what we wanted. Stephanie was organized, thoughtful and punctual from the beginning, all while navigating our 6 hour time zone difference as well as planning during the height of COVID uncertainty. She made the whole process stress free which allowed us to relax and enjoy every party of our engagement and wedding day. Her design recommendations and vision were incredibly helpful, and our room reveal at our wedding was one of my favorite memories of the whole day. Her day of team was also excellent and made the entire day run smoothly. I wouldn't change one thing about our wedding day and cannot recommend her enough!

Our wedding was the most special day of our lives and I can say without a doubt it was because of Alex and her incredible team. Months later, our guests are still talking about the creative details and design elements that could not have been possible without Alex and her creativity. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and given her great relationships with the vendors in the area, delivered us the perfect team for florals, rentals, music, etc. Alex is detail-oriented, innovative, and incredibly hardworking and her team made us feel so calm knowing they had everything under control. After re-scheduling FOUR times due to Covid, Christina made our wedding dreams come true! Everything went smoothly and was executed perfectly. She worked tirelessly rescheduling vendors and updating our rentals and design elements based on the changing seasons and availability. She was a lifesaver! She is incredibly experienced and had so many excellent vendor relationships and recommendations. When she felt a vendor was not a good fit or didn’t understand our vision, she was willing to have those difficult decisions with them in order to reduce any stress or awkward situations for us. Her vision, insight, and advice throughout the entire process was priceless! It truly was the perfect day for us and Christina Baxter made it happen!

Alex treats her clients like family and is trustworthy, reliable, and is downright amazing at what she does. She provided full planning for my wedding and handled all of the relationships with vendors, the timeline, logistics, etc. There was no stress and the planning process was fun. She has an eye for detail and knows how to make an event beautiful and inviting. She is the BEST.

After an initial planned "long engagement" plus an additional year COVID delay, we had the pleasure of working with Stephanie for almost 2.5 years to make our wedding dreams a reality. Hiring Stephanie and her team at SRS Events was hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST decision we made during the entire planning process and I don't know what we would have done without Steph holding our hands throughout the journey. I consider myself a creative person who had tons of ideas and opinions on how I envisioned my perfect wedding, but when it came to making decisions...it can definitely be overwhelming. There are just SO MANY OPTIONS out there. This is where Steph's help really came into play. She assisted us by narrowing down choices, providing her expert opinion on our ideas, and organizing the entire day down to every last detail. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding soon after ours, which only made me appreciate working with SRS Events even more knowing how much of a difference an organized and seasoned Wedding Planner can make. At first I was a bit nervous to work with SRS Events because many of the photos of their past weddings seemed a bit more traditional and romantic than the wedding I was envisioning, but after my consultation with Stephanie and hearing how organized and creative she was, I knew she was exactly the right partner I needed to work with. AND she knocked our groovy boho-disco-farm (whatever you want to call it) wedding out of the park! I was especially impressed with the online wedding planning platform that she uses with her clients, it helped us tremendously in staying on budget and organizing all our contacts and contracts in one place. Throughout the entire COVID postponement period, Steph remained calm and guided us through the process of amending our vendor contracts and coming up with creative solutions. Thank you. Thank you. I loved working with Dan, I came from Massachusetts to Tennessee and found this cake shop and he made a cake for my daughter second birthday it looked beautiful and tasted good made the party a hit!

Our daughter got married on NYE 2020 and despite numerous bumps in the road with venues, Covid, etc. Dan the cakeman was a constant and competent presence through it all. I shared pictures and discussed our wedding cake/cupcake vision with him and he totally came through! With numerous samples of cake and icings provided by Cakemakers, we were able to customize exactly what we wanted.The cake with multiple filling layers was a HUGE hit! Even non-cake lovers loved it! The special order cupcakes were perfect too. Beautiful AND delicious..You won’t be sorry if you go with Dan the cakeman!

Alex is the best wedding planner out there. She thinks through everything you forgot. She creates the best flow for your day with detailed timelines and lists that a girl can only dream of when thinking through her perfect day.

There is no obstacle too big that she can’t handle. She never looses her cool, is always calm, keeps the bride and bridal party stress free and happy. The most amazing part was on Monday, the week of the wedding, when ALL my vendors started reaching out asking tons of last minute questions. She directed all the questions to her, so I didn’t have to know or deal with any of it. Amazing! I received so many compliments on how well her and her team did doing things I didn’t even know had happened.

She is worth every penny and much more. If you are unsure of what you want for your special day, hire Alex. If you have the venue and big items taken care of but need help with details, hire Alex. Even if you are a DIY wedding person- hire Alex for the day of. You will not be disappointed.

It’s been three months since our November wedding and we are still just so blown away by absolutely everything Stephanie was able to accomplish.

As someone who is extremely organized and good at project management, I figured I’d easily be able to pull off planning and executing an elegant wedding. However, after being engaged for a full year, my then fiancé and I had made no progress planning our wedding.

I didn’t have a dream day planned, and hadn’t given much thought to what I wanted my wedding to be like, leaving me completely lost on the planning process. That’s when we turned to Stephanie.

I didn’t have a gown style in mind, didn’t know what type of a venue I saw myself getting married in, much less had any idea of how to answer the seemingly endless number of decisions to be made: Napkin fold? Charger or no charger? Matte or satin paper? Formal addressing? How long should the reception last? How much time should be in between the ceremony and the reception? The list goes on and on.

I also knew I wasn’t a typical pink and pastel bride. After our first meeting, and after reviewing some of her work, Stephanie assured me she would help us achieve a wedding that reflected our styles. She did exactly that.

She was easy to work with, prompt via email, and never too busy to hop on a call. Most importantly, Stephanie made sure we kept on schedule, and helped me properly prioritize the decisions we needed to make while guiding me towards the best, most practical choices. She was respectful of our budget and also went out of her way to find unique details that would appeal to me.

Our wedding was unique, reflected our personalities and who we are as a couple, and blew away all our guests. They are still talking about it. I can not recommend Stephanie enough. If you’re on the fence about hiring her, don’t think twice.

The assistant i spoke to is very unprofessional and unwilling to help. The first thing she asked when i called about a wedding decoration was what's your budget? It's not the best way of doing business. I looked online before i called so i know what to expect. Instead of giving options or asking me how to make my day extra special she went straight for the money. That says a lot about how you value your customers. What I was hoping to hear was to offer me the best she has and work her way down. That was not the case at Mimi decor. I've called several times to get a hold of mimi herself and left a voicemail and no one got back to me. Offer me the platinum decor that you say you do and I'll pay. What i will not tolerate is the kind of behavior your assistant showed and make no effect to fix my problem. That's worth 0 dollars! Please train your employees to be confident on your product so you can earn more business. I am very disappointed and unsatisfied! I will not recommend it to anyone!

We did a cake tasting with Dan today, and I was beyond impressed. The cakes were delicious, and Dan was so kind, warm, and personable. I have a very small guest list - and he still spend a great deal of time going over details and making me feel just as important as the brides with much larger weddings. Wonderful cake and wonderful customer service. Cant wait to see the final wedding cake!

Update: We finally had our wedding day! Our cake was absolutely stunning (and delicious). We chose the french vanilla almond with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Dan was a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so special with such a stunner of a cake!! We received so many compliments. You are THE BEST.

Oh wow, I could write a book about how wonderful Stephanie is and I'm genuinely so sad our time together is over already! I really thought I could manage wedding planning on my own but January hit and I realized I needed help desperately. I scoured planners tirelessly to find someone who had the right style and cost, Stephanie was the perfect fit. Her work is sooo versatile, she can do classy, boho, vintage, rustic, elegant, you name it. And the cost was unbelievably reasonable for the quality of work she does. She stepped in four months out from my wedding and took on everything like Superwoman- contracts, communication with vendors, reaching out to the ones I still needed. She was SO responsive and organized, always on top of things. I was struggling with transportation and she knocked it out easily for me in one day. She handled so much, it was a huge weight of my shoulders the final weeks before the big day. She picked the perfect furniture rentals for my boho style, laidback wedding and worked with all of the vendors I had already hired to complete my vision. She had some amazing ideas along the way that I never would have thought of myself and I'm so grateful for her creativity! She's also more than willing to take on the challenges that come with planning, like frustrating last minute changes from the venue staff. Best attitude ever, always positive and optimistic, gets you even more excited for the wedding, which I didn't think was possible. The day of, she was again so wonderful, going above and beyond her duties, running gifts back and forth between the bridesmaids and groomsmen in pouring rain. The day after the wedding, she hand delivered my bouquet to the flower preservation company, saving my mom a long trip. She is so wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend hiring Stephanie. She is truly a lifesaver and your wedding will be 100 times more magical for it.

Christina Baxter Wedding + Events, the best wedding planner in Charleston. Over the course of a year, Christina and Dana became like family to us. From the very first interview, we fell in love with Christina’s infectious personality and limitless enthusiasm for making our vision Gullah+Jamaica+Cinderella wedding a reality. We’d interviewed other planners, but Christina’s warm spirit and instanteous ideas sealed the deal. Indeed, it felt like we were excitedly planning with an old friend and not our planner.

Christina soon introduced us to her Senior Event Coordinator, Dana, who worked with us every step of the way to make sure the details of our wedding were set and mapped out. They were a full service team, helping us with every detail from the invitations to the centerpieces. And when our 325-person wedding ballooned into a 400-person affair 3 weeks before the big day, these two did not miss a beat. They re-designed the entire reception layout and coordinated with every vendor. This was a particularly massive undertaking because we got married at Middleton Place, with an original plan to use some of the site’s tables and other settings. When the numbers increased, we had to move everything outside and everything, and I mean everything, had to be adjusted to accommodate the new plan.

Despite the abrupt change, the wedding was magical. Every bride I know talks about the meltdown she had on her day or the mishaps that occurred. I had none. Christina and Dana masterfully corralled our nearly 50-person wedding party through wedding prep, pre-wedding pictures, and the wedding precessional. This included hiring a personal assistant to travel with me for most of the day until the reception. Not only was that person amazing and friendly, but as a former pageant consultant, she was able to keep all my girls on schedule, help me get ready, and served as the liaison between myself and Christina and Dana. It worked out perfectly.

Their wedding staff was great, with individuals stationed at various points on the grounds to direct my party and the guests. In the end, everything was on time and consistent with our detailed schedule. 400 people moved seamlessly from one part of the grounds to the next. Musicians (including a trio, steel drum band, and singers) were on time and prepared with their necessary cues. Post-wedding pictures were handled quickly, leaving us time to hangout with our guests at cocktail hour.

Our reception was exactly what we asked for - a massive party. And it was made possible by Dana’s recommended DJ (there’s a reason why DJ Natty Heavy is consistently voted the best DJ in the area - he was fantastic). They kept the party going and made sure we were in position to leave on schedule in our fabulous getaway car.

In short, from the amazing design to masterful execution, they did a phenomenal job. My family, wedding party, and guests couldn’t stop talking about our planners and how they helped us bring “Hollywood” to Charleston. In one instance, a dear friend of mine who is an event planner and once coordinated events for President Barack Obama, took me aside and told me that my planners were top-notch and doing an impeccable job.

You cannot go wrong with these two. This team created a wedding day better than we imagined, they listened to us, and invested 200% in executing this event. Our only regret was not having a bigger budget so they could have handled the entire wedding weekend.

Stephanie of SRS Events is incredible. No couple asks for rain on their wedding day, but if it happens you will want Stephanie by your side. As a wedding Photographer, I've seen many rainy wedding days, but was so happy to see Stephanie not only had a rain plan in place, but also continued to stay ahead of the weather forecast. When the rain became imminent, she sprang to action gracefully & quickly ensuring the couple, their guests & family, and vendors alike were safe from the rain.

To this day we continue to receive many compliments on how amazing our wedding was. We’ve even had other married couples tell us that if they’d do it again, they would want it to be the same as ours. The credit for all of this goes to Stephanie and SRS Events. We were overwhelmed with having to juggle planning the wedding and work; and we didn’t know any vendors nor venues. The best decision we made was hiring Stephanie since the beginning (around 9 months before the wedding). Since the first meeting we were immediately relieved. She guided us through the whole process with very detailed timelines and budget milestones. The wedding was amazing; my wife and I were able to focus on the important part…enjoying the day and having fun with our guests. We left everything else in Stephanie’s hands and not only was it beautiful; but it was also flawless. All her vendors were so great to work with and very accommodating.

My late Grandfather always said that there are so few things in this world that you can take with you into the next life as material things come and go, health can rise and fall, but it’s the memories you make, the people you meet and the experiences you enjoy with those you love that will carry with you always. A lovely journey from the second we met you both and it’s hard today to not see and speak to you on a regular occurrence. It isn’t often you have a bride and groom who are equal partners in wedding planning. Additionally, we had three sets of parents all with varying opinions and roles they wanted to play. Christina and Dana at CiBi Events grabbed this challenge by the horns and worked tirelessly with us for over 1.5 years to put together our dream wedding.

Wedding planning is stressful. It feels like there are a million things to do AT ALL TIMES. You want someone who is calm, has a ton of experience, and knows just about every vendor in town. Like many couples, we had a vision for our wedding, but we relied heavily on Christina and Dana to navigate the seemingly endless details that needed to be addressed to realize that vision. Both Christina and Dana displayed endless patience helping us realize that vision, always accommodating our last minute waffling and change of heart. When we were freaking out about a particular aspect of the wedding – or more accurately a million important decisions – they would schedule a call immediately and give us two hours of their undivided attention if we needed it!

While they are undoubtedly great at their job, Christina and Dana are also exceptionally nice people. Which is important to consider because you will spend A LOT of time with your wedding planners. When it was all said and done, Christina and Dana helped us pull off an amazing wedding and really stayed true to our wishes and vision for the wedding, which was especially important to us. And while we certainly don’t miss the stress associated with wedding planning, we do miss spending time with both of them!!! Dream team!
